Flipkart's 0% Interest Days have ended, so we re-priced this page against live listings on August 7, 2026 rather than leave July's numbers standing. Thirteen of the twenty picks have moved, almost all downward: JBL's Tune 770NC is now exactly half price, the Flip 6 has shed Rs. 2,000, boAt's Airdopes Plus 311 sit at Rs. 799, and the Copilot+ IdeaPad has fallen Rs. 10,000. One pick went the other way — the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ is dearer than it was — and we have said so on the card. The Redmi Pad was delisted entirely and has been replaced by the Redmi Pad SE. No Cost EMI remains a standing Flipkart offer between events, and the Freedom Sale is next on the calendar.
Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold8, Fold8 Ultra and Flip8 are still taking pre-bookings at Vijay Sales for Rs. 999 down, and we re-read all three listings on August 3: the desk has moved to the 256GB variants and none of the three carries any discount against MRP. We re-checked the rest of the store the same day too, and the seventeen non-Samsung picks below have moved in both directions — the LG C6 OLED is Rs. 7,400 cheaper, the Sony BRAVIA 2 is Rs. 7,400 dearer, the Lenovo LOQ still leads on 47% off, and the boAt Rockerz at Rs. 1,999 is still the deepest percentage cut here. Every price read live from vijaysales.com product pages on August 3, 2026. Roles, not rankings: the launch of the week, biggest laptop cut, cheapest thrill.
boAt's direct store is running cuts its marketplace listings don't match — we swept all 970 live listings on boat-lifestyle.com and found 914 products at 40%-plus off, then kept the 21 that earn a slot. The headline math: Nirvana Ion ANC Pro earbuds at 84% off (Rs. 2,199), the Wave Call 3 smartwatch at Rs. 1,399, an AMOLED Lunar Oasis at Rs. 3,499, and a 160W soundbar at Rs. 5,699 — with the verified BOATHEAD code and a 5% prepaid discount stacking on top. boAt's MRPs run theatrical; every pick here was chosen on its absolute price, not its percentage. Roles, not rankings: the flagship, the volume king, cheapest thrill.
Amazon's ethnic racks are running a Bestselling Kurtas Under Rs. 399 storefront, and the listings underneath it hold some of the platform's most crowd-verified fashion buys. We swept eight search walls and kept 23 kurtas — every one with a live price re-verified on August 4, 2026, a real MRP, and its actual Amazon rating with review count shown. The GoSriKi bestseller with 8,504 ratings at Rs. 399, Amazon's own Myx label at Rs. 199, a six-pick chikankari counter from Rs. 299, and full kurta sets that cost less than most single pieces. Roles, not rankings: best overall, biggest steal, best full set, the tailor's wildcard.
We read Croma's own listings for 21 air conditioners, 21 refrigerators and 21 washing machines on 19 August 2026. The ACs run from Rs. 26,490 to Rs. 52,490, and sorting that shelf by price gets the answer exactly backwards. Divided by rated capacity, the cheapest machine on the shelf - a 0.8-ton Daikin at Rs. 26,490 - is the most expensive cooling in the read at Rs. 33,112 per ton, while a 1.5-ton Croma-brand convertible split at Rs. 30,290 is Rs. 20,193 per ton. Nine of the 21 listings are Croma's own brand and they hold four of the five best per-ton places. Discounts run 0% to 47% and do not line up with value: the deepest badge in the read is mid-table on cost per ton, and one window unit is listed at a price and an MRP ten rupees apart. Full price tables by capacity, plus how the fridge and washing-machine aisles compare.
We read amazon.in search results across three queries on 20 August 2026 - bluetooth speaker under 2000, portable bluetooth speaker and party speaker bluetooth - which returned 38 listings carrying both a price and a stated MRP, and seated the 20 selling under Rs. 2,000. The finding that shapes the page is what the wattage number is attached to. The two largest power claims in the read are both 48W, from pTron at Rs. 1,889 and Rs. 1,899, and they carry 167 and 112 ratings between them. At Rs. 1,499 a boAt Stone stating 10W RMS carries 12,974, and at the same Rs. 1,899 as the second pTron, a 20W Portronics carries 4,517 at 4.3 - the best average-and-sample pairing on the page. Only three listings here state RMS power at all; the rest publish a bare wattage that is almost certainly peak. Two Dubstep listings at Rs. 649 and Rs. 699, carrying the page's two biggest badges at 89 and 90 per cent, publish an identical 2,220-rating count between them.
We read Croma's own listing data across two appliance categories on 20 August 2026 - refrigerators and washing machines, two pages each - which returned 84 listings carrying both a price and a stated MRP, and seated 22 spanning Rs. 8,090 to Rs. 31,290. The finding that shapes the page is how little anyone has said about these products. Only two listings in the entire read carry a three-figure rating count: a Croma 7.5 kg semi-automatic washer at 4.6 from 120 buyers and a Samsung 7 kg top-loader at 4.4 from 121. Eleven of the 22 have three ratings or fewer and five publish none at all. Against that emptiness, the largest badge on the page - 43 per cent - sits on the lowest-rated appliance in it, a Croma fully-automatic machine rated 2.9 by 67 people, while the two smallest badges sit on Croma's own small refrigerators. The read also contains a clean star-rating comparison: the same Haier 190-litre fridge at 2 and 3 stars, Rs. 1,000 apart.
We read Reliance Digital's own listing data across four audio queries on 20 August 2026 - soundbar, home theatre, bluetooth speaker and headphone - which returned 44 listings carrying both a price and a stated MRP, and seated 22 spanning Rs. 399 to Rs. 17,990. The finding that shapes the page is an absence: not one of the 44 listings carries a rating or a rating count. Reliance Digital publishes no customer feedback on this shelf at all, which leaves the brand, the stated specification and the price as the only things a buyer can weigh. Against that, the discount badge tracks the brand almost perfectly. Sony's five listings claim 10, 20, 25 and 29 per cent off, and Apple's EarPods 20 per cent; Zebronics, GOVO, BPL, Hammer and boAt sit between 64 and 84 per cent, against stated MRPs of Rs. 18,999 on a Rs. 5,999 soundbar and Rs. 6,990 on a Rs. 1,099 speaker system. The cheapest soundbar in the read costs Rs. 999.
Myntra's homepage this week pushes FWD — its Gen-Z fashion store — with one promise: everything under Rs. 999. We swept 365 live listings across ten FWD categories in July 2026 and re-verified every pick against the live FWD racks on August 4 — 21 survive: every pick carrying a live price, its real MRP, and its actual Myntra rating with the review count shown. The headline math, re-read this month: a 19,141-rating Berrylush skirt at 64% off, Roadster's 13,000-rating high-rise jeans down to Rs. 529, a Disney-print shirt at 82% off, and the edit's record 89% cut on a 4.4-rated maxi dress. Most prices have fallen since July. Roles, not rankings: best overall, biggest steal, highest-rated.
In July 2026 AJIO's Nike wall priced at a flat 50% off and we swept 332 listings to build this page. That event has ended. Re-swept on August 6, 2026, the same wall runs 15-35% off — the house rate is 30%, only four picks cut deeper, and two cut shallower than we would normally publish. Several items cost more than they did six weeks ago: the Air Zoom Pegasus 40 has gone from Rs. 5,948 to Rs. 8,327. Four picks sold out and have been replaced. What remains is still a usable map of the wall — the Ebernon Low white sneaker at Rs. 3,497, the Court Royale AC at Rs. 3,147, a printed tee at Rs. 1,167 — but it is a normal-pricing map, not an event one, and this edition says so on every card.
We read Amazon's own search results for hair dryers and hair straighteners on 19 August 2026, which returned 60 unique listings carrying both a price and a stated MRP, and seated 24 of them under Rs. 2,000. Two things run through the page. The first is that a rating count on this aisle is not always the product's: Havells' Rs. 999 HD3151 dryer and its Rs. 1,999 styling dryer both report exactly 67,312 ratings at 4.3, because Amazon pools reviews across a brand's variant family. The second is that the smallest discounts belong to the strongest listings - VEGA at 14 per cent off a stated Rs. 899 with 11,035 ratings, Philips at 15 per cent off Rs. 995, AGARO at 16 per cent off Rs. 899 - while a Rs. 649 Nova straightener states an MRP of Rs. 2,395 and a Rs. 1,809 Havells brush states Rs. 3,695. The specifications that actually change the experience are wattage and motor type, and only two dryers here, both at about Rs. 1,500, use the AC motors that salon dryers use.
We read AJIO's own catalogue on 19 August 2026 across three queries - women's sandals, women's flats and men's sandals - which returned 213 rows, of which 118 sit under Rs. 800 with both a price and a stated MRP. Twenty-four are seated here. What the full pool shows is that on this shelf the price is a tier rather than a product. Ten different sandals from SHEZONE and Shoetopia sell at exactly Rs. 560, and every one of them states an MRP of Rs. 1,999. Six more sell at exactly Rs. 460, all stating Rs. 1,999. Three sell at Rs. 520, all stating Rs. 1,999. Nineteen shoes, three prices, one list price. On the same shelf the Lifestyle-group house labels behave completely differently: MAX, Bata, Ginger and Campus state Rs. 399 to Rs. 799 and discount by 8 to 30 per cent - and a MAX braided flat at Rs. 559 sits one rupee below the ten-listing tier while claiming a third of their MRP.
We read Myntra's own listing data across four women's ethnic paths on 20 August 2026 - anarkali-kurta, kurta-sets, ethnic-dresses and lehenga-choli - which returned 53 adult listings carrying both a price and a stated MRP, and seated the 22 that sell under Rs. 1,000. The finding that shapes the page is how little the badge describes the garment. Everything seated here sells between Rs. 434 and Rs. 999, a spread of Rs. 565, while the MRPs printed behind those prices run from Rs. 699 to Rs. 4,599. Two unrelated sellers state exactly the same Rs. 2,999 MRP behind garments priced seven rupees apart. The smallest claim on the page, 10 per cent, belongs to a Rs. 628 dress whose seller says it lists at Rs. 699; the largest, 86 per cent, sits on a Rs. 658 cotton kurta with 7,804 ratings at 4.1. Meanwhile the two largest crowds in the read - 16,204 and 16,178 ratings - sit at Rs. 910 and Rs. 620, and one seated listing publishes no rating at all.
Puma India's End of Season Sale ran through July with a flat 40% off banner and rack cuts reaching 56%. That window has closed. On August 4, 2026 we went back to in.puma.com and re-read every one of the 21 shoes from our original sweep against its unchanged MRP — and the picture is genuinely mixed. Four picks never moved: the BMW M Neo Cat and Drift Cat at 55%, the women's Smashic and the Carina Slim Perf at Rs. 2,024. Others snapped back hard: the women's Softride Frequence went from Rs. 3,149 to Rs. 5,599, the Fade Pro from Rs. 4,799 to Rs. 7,199, the Deviate NITRO Elite 3 from Rs. 13,999 to Rs. 16,999. This is the post-sale price sheet, with the wait-for-the-next-window picks named as such.
