GoDaddy publishes the full list of companies it allows to process data passing through your account, and we read it on 23 October 2026 from its India site. It names 27 subprocessors. Sixteen are incorporated in the United States; two in Switzerland, two in France, and one each in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Ukraine, Canada and the Cayman Islands, with Cisco listed across three. None is incorporated in India. OpenAI, L.L.C. appears in the same table as Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare and Stripe. Several rows cover "customer hosted data including data from the customer's customer(s)" - your users, not just you. The page matters for a procedural reason too: GoDaddy's DPA says notice of a new subprocessor may be given by updating this list, and 30 days of silence is deemed acceptance. GoDaddy accepts liability for its subprocessors but gives no audit right. Nothing purchased; not legal advice.

GoDaddy's Data Processing Addendum governs your customers' personal data - not your own - and applies automatically from the day your agreement starts. Read in full on 23 October 2026 from GoDaddy's India site, it mentions "India" and "DPDP" zero times; the authorities it names are the North Rhine-Westphalia Commissioner, the Swiss FDPIC and the UK ICO. It states that nothing in it gives you a right to audit GoDaddy; you may request compliance information, and if GoDaddy does not reply within 45 days your remedy is to terminate. New subprocessors get 60 days' notice where practicable and you have 30 days to object - silence is deemed acceptance, and notice may be nothing more than a webpage being updated. GoDaddy is not responsible for backing up your data, and you answer your own users' access and deletion requests. Not legal advice.

A full read of GoDaddy's Reseller Agreement - 289 substantive sentences, the longest document on its legal shelf - taken from godaddy.com on 22 October 2026. Notice to stop the annual renewal must reach GoDaddy no later than three days before the billing date; miss it and access continues indefinitely with the card on file charged at then-current rates. The 30-day refund covers the annual licensing fee only - not services your customers bought, and not commission you earned. Breach of any term forfeits all commissions earned, further accounts are cancelled unpaid, and a terminated account cannot be reactivated after 60 calendar days. Chargebacks and trademark disputes are separate grounds for holding commission. Not legal advice.

A full read of GoDaddy's Trademark and Copyright Infringement Policy, taken from godaddy.com on 22 October 2026. The clause that matters most outside the United States: a counter-notification must include consent to the jurisdiction of the US federal court for the District of Arizona - or, if your address is outside the US, any judicial district in which GoDaddy may be found - plus agreement to accept service of process from the complainant. Restored material comes back in not less than ten and not more than fourteen business days, unless the complainant files for a court order first. A legitimate copyright claim suspends the account, not just the file. State and Supplemental Register trademarks do not qualify. Not legal advice.

A full read of GoDaddy's Workspace Service Agreement - the contract behind Workspace Email, Online Calendar and Online Storage - taken from godaddy.com on 22 October 2026. An expired trial can be converted within fourteen days of expiry; after that GoDaddy reserves the right to delete the account and any customer data in it, and you are limited to one 30-day trial. Online Storage carries two caps that sit on top of whatever space you bought: 50,000 folders, and 1,00,000 files in any single directory, with suspension named as the consequence. Exceeding a plan's usage limits lets GoDaddy either charge usage fees or terminate the account. Spam filtering is disclaimed in both directions, and the document states the services are not intended for archival purposes.

Hostinger's Black Friday sale is branded Sale Season in India and opened on October 19, 2026, running until December 14. We read the sale page on October 21: web hosting is 83% off from Rs. 69 a month, the AI Builder from Rs. 139 a month, VPS hosting from Rs. 599, business email from Rs. 29 and .com domains at Rs. 1 for the first year. This page lists every deal as shown, with the regular price beside it, explains how to choose between hosting, the AI Builder and a VPS, and flags what the sale page does not state, including the renewal price, which Hostinger does not print beside the sale prices.

Big Billion Days 2026 opens at midnight on 8 October for Flipkart Plus, VIP members and Flipkart credit card holders, and on 9 October for everyone else - both lines read from Flipkart's own store page on 6 October 2026. Served on that same page is a tile selling BLACK at Rs. 499 for "24 Hrs Early Access to the sale", "Instant 15% Off with bank offer" and "Exclusive BLACK Deals". Flipkart's own FAQ grants the same 24-hour window to Plus members and to anyone holding an eligible partner bank credit card, neither of which carries a price on that page. And the sale's published bank discount elsewhere on the page is "up to 10%", not 15%. No end date has been published.

Hostinger's AI website and app builder sells on three plans, all billed four years upfront. We read them first-party on 5 October 2026. Premium is Rs. 149 a month - Rs. 7,152 charged at once for 48 months - and the same card states it "Renews at Rs. 449/mo", a 201% step-up. Unlimited and Cloud Startup renew at Rs. 649 and Rs. 1,599 against Rs. 249 and Rs. 599. Renewing Premium costs more per month than starting Unlimited. And the 30-day money-back guarantee carries a second condition: it holds only "as long as fewer than 30 credits have been used", on a product whose own FAQ says a simple business page takes 5-10 credits. Let the plan lapse and "all data will be permanently deleted".

Hostinger sells Minecraft hosting as four Game Panel plans, and each card carries four numbers that mean four different things. We read them first-party on 5 October 2026. Entry is Rs. 649 a month - which is Rs. 15,576 charged at once, because "All plans are paid upfront" - and that card also states it "Renews at Rs. 999/mo". The advertised "61% off" is measured against a struck-through Rs. 1,649 that is charged neither now nor at renewal; against the renewal rate the introductory saving is 35%. Across the four plans the step-up at renewal runs 41% to 100%, and it is steepest on Game Panel 4, the plan carrying the deepest badge. Game Panel 2's renewal rate is exactly Game Panel 4's intro rate.

We read Hostinger's India VPS page on 14 September 2026. The hardware ladder is unusually tidy — 1, 2, 4 and 8 vCPU cores; 4, 8, 16 and 32 GB of RAM; 50 to 400 GB of NVMe, every figure doubling at every step — and the introductory price does not follow it, rising 33.4 percent, then 37.5 percent, then 100.1 percent. So a vCPU core costs Rs. 599.00 a month on KVM 1 and Rs. 274.88 on KVM 8. On the renewal rate that advantage mostly vanishes: three of the four plans converge on roughly Rs. 550 to Rs. 600 a core. And the plan with the biggest badge on the page — KVM 4, at 69 percent off — has the steepest renewal step on it, Rs. 1,099 to Rs. 2,399, up 118.3 percent. All of it is printed on the plan cards; none of it is in the percentage.

Hostinger's India plan pages print four numbers per plan and only one of them is the one people quote. Read on 14 September 2026, the shared plans start at Rs. 69, Rs. 149, Rs. 249 and Rs. 599 a month on the 48-month term and renew at Rs. 289, Rs. 449, Rs. 649 and Rs. 1,599 — a step of 319 percent on the cheapest plan and 161 percent on Business. That produces a crossover worth planning around: renewing Single costs Rs. 289 a month, while starting Business costs Rs. 249. Eight years of Single works out at Rs. 17,184, an average of Rs. 179 a month. Email is priced per mailbox from Rs. 29, renewing at Rs. 69. Every figure here is Hostinger's own.

We read Hostinger's India WordPress hosting page and its web hosting page one after the other on 6 September 2026, and they sell the same thing: Single at Rs. 69 a month, Premium at Rs. 149, Unlimited at Rs. 249 and Cloud Startup at Rs. 599, on 48-month terms, with identical totals, renewal rates, storage, site allowances, backups and guarantees. The only published difference is a line naming AI Builder credits on the web hosting page. The number that decides the real cost sits below the badge: Single is Rs. 3,312 for the first 48 months and renews at Rs. 289 a month — Rs. 13,872 for the next four years, a 319% step. Premium goes Rs. 149 to Rs. 449, Unlimited Rs. 249 to Rs. 649, Cloud Startup Rs. 599 to Rs. 1,599.

Re-read from Hostinger's own India plan page on 2 September 2026: shared hosting from Rs. 69 a month on the 48-month term, shown as 83 per cent off, unchanged since our 21 August read. The Monsoon Sale branding is long gone, while Premium and Unlimited have risen from Rs. 139 and Rs. 199 to Rs. 149 and Rs. 249. We put the number the page buries next to the headline: the renewal rate. Single costs Rs. 3,312 for four years and renews at Rs. 289 a month, so the next four cost Rs. 13,872 - a 4.2x step-up, the steepest on the page. Premium, Unlimited and Cloud Startup renew at Rs. 449, Rs. 649 and Rs. 1,599 for step-ups of 3.0x, 2.6x and 2.7x. The badges are computed against a regular price that is simply the crossed-out monthly rate times 48 months; measured against each plan's own renewal rate the real reductions are 62 to 76 per cent. Plan-by-plan storage, backup cadence, website limits and email allowances, plus five ways to pay less. Hostinger publishes no end date.

Hostinger's India cloud hosting page, read on 31 August 2026, quotes Cloud Startup at Rs. 599 a month, Cloud Professional at Rs. 899 and Cloud Enterprise at Rs. 1,899, all on 48-month terms paid upfront. The number that decides the cost is underneath: Cloud Startup renews at Rs. 1,599 a month, so four years cost Rs. 28,752 and the next four cost Rs. 76,752. Every plan steps up the same way — Single 4.19 times its introductory rate, Premium 3.01, Unlimited 2.61, Cloud Startup 2.67. What Cloud Startup adds over the Rs. 249 Unlimited plan is headroom rather than storage: 2,000,000 inodes against 600,000, 100 PHP workers against 60, four CPU cores against two and a dedicated IP. Hostinger does not publish renewal rates for the two larger cloud plans.

GoDaddy's Indian web hosting page listed four cPanel plans on 31 August 2026 — Starter at Rs. 89 a month against a struck Rs. 299, Economy at Rs. 219 against Rs. 599, Deluxe at Rs. 329 against Rs. 849 and Ultimate at Rs. 399 against Rs. 1,099. Every rate is quoted for the first three-year term, so the real commitments are Rs. 3,204 to Rs. 14,364 over 36 months, and the page publishes no renewal rate at all. The detail that decides the choice is website count: Starter and Economy both host exactly one site, so Economy's extra Rs. 130 a month buys 15 GB, a free domain, free email and a one-year SSL rather than room to grow. Deluxe at Rs. 329 is the first plan that hosts more than one website, at ten, and Ultimate's 25 sites work out to Rs. 15.96 each.
