Kerala University, Thiruvananthapuram is one of the first sixteen universities in India. It was established in 1937 as the University of Travancore in the southern parts of Kerala and is now approved by UGC. It is accredited by NAAC with an ‘A’ Grade. Admissions at the University of Kerala is based on merits as well as on entrance exams. For most of the undergraduate courses, the candidate must secure 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 from any recognised board.
