Croma Printer Prices August 2026: Ink Tank From Rs. 12,199

Two of the Epson EcoTank refillable ink tank printers from this August 2026 read of Croma listings - the colour all-in-one and the monochrome M1120 - in Croma's own product photography
Zoutons Picks — Croma, August 2026

Fifty-two printer listings read on 24 August, and thirty-six of them have never been rated by anybody.

Prices & codes last verified August 24, 2026

The short of it Croma printer listings read on 24 August 2026. The cheapest machine is Rs. 2,499 and it is the dearest here to run; refillable ink tanks start at Rs. 12,199 and the laser tank at Rs. 23,599 has the lowest cost per page on the page. Badges are modest - the biggest printer discount in the read is 38 per cent. Only one listing in 52 has a rating sample above twenty votes.

We read 52 Croma printer listings on 24 August 2026 and seated 22, from Rs. 2,499 to Rs. 23,599. The decision this shelf actually poses is not which printer but which ink system: cartridge machines are cheap to buy and expensive to feed, refillable tanks start at Rs. 12,199 and reverse that, and a laser tank at Rs. 23,599 has the lowest cost per page here. Croma's badges are refreshingly modest - the biggest printer discount in the whole read is 38 per cent. The ratings are not usable: 36 of the 52 listings carry none at all, and only one has more than twenty votes behind it.

Every price below was pulled from Croma on August 24, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Croma coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

“One listing in 52 has a rating sample above twenty votes. Another has a score of 1.0, left by exactly one person. Neither number should decide a Rs. 13,000 purchase.” Zoutons Editorial Team

Four rules for buying a printer at Croma

First: work out how many pages a month you actually print before you look at a single price, because that number alone decides the tier - under about twenty pages, a cartridge machine is fine; above it, a tank or laser pays for itself. Second: do not read the ratings on this shelf as a quality ranking; 36 of 52 listings have none, and the ones that do mostly rest on fewer than five people. Third: check what a set of consumables costs for the specific model before buying, not after - a cartridge set can be half the price of the printer. Fourth: check the live coupon page and the bank-offer strip before checkout, the same discipline we applied to the Croma laptop price list, because card offers on electronics here frequently beat the listed discount.

What we skipped — and why

What we skipped, and why: the four Konica Minolta office machines in the pull, priced Rs. 47,800 to Rs. 3,81,219, because a departmental copier is not a purchase anyone reaches through a consumer price guide and seating one beside a Rs. 2,499 Canon would be theatre rather than comparison. We dropped the projectors and the PlayStation games that Croma's search returned alongside the printers - they are genuinely different aisles and belong on their own pages. Within the printer set we dropped two near-identical Epson EcoTank listings that differ only by a model suffix and share a product photograph, seating one of the three and saying so, because the duplicate-image problem makes them indistinguishable to a reader as well as to us. Nothing was dropped for being poorly rated: the machine carrying the lowest score in the read, 1.0 from a single vote, is seated precisely because that rating is the clearest illustration of why this shelf's feedback cannot be trusted.

What we look for

We judge a printer on what it costs to run, not what it costs to buy

The cheapest printer in this read is Rs. 2,499 and the cheapest ink-tank machine is Rs. 12,199, and for anybody printing regularly the second is the cheaper purchase. Cartridge printers use consumables that yield hundreds of pages for over a thousand rupees; tank and laser-tank machines use bottled ink and toner that yield thousands. Every card here says which ink system the machine uses and who it suits, because that single fact matters more over five years than any specification in the listing.

Every rating on this page carries its sample size

Only 16 of the 52 listings in this read carry a rating at all, and of those, almost every one rests on single figures - 4.5 from four people, 1.0 from one, 4.0 from five. Exactly one listing, a Canon all-in-one, carries a sample above twenty: 4.1 from 122 votes. Printing scores without their counts would make this shelf look thoroughly reviewed when 36 of 52 listings have no feedback whatsoever. Where a score rests on single figures, the card says it should not be acted on.

We flag when a brand's model ladder hides what the money buys

HP's 1188 laser range appears four times in this read at Rs. 16,499, Rs. 18,999, Rs. 19,999 and Rs. 23,599, and its model suffixes - A, W, FNW - are the only clue to what separates them. Two DeskJet Ink Advantage models sit at an identical Rs. 5,449 with identical badges. Where the listings leave a buyer unable to see what the extra money buys, we have worked it out and said so, and named the rung of the ladder most people should stop at.

We report Croma's badges as the modest, plausible numbers they are

Median discount on this shelf is 20 per cent for HP, 21 for Epson and 12 for Canon, and the largest printer badge in the whole read is 38 per cent. That is unusual and worth saying plainly: unlike categories where an 80 per cent badge sits over a list price nobody ever paid, the stated MRPs here are close enough to real prices that the discount arithmetic means something. We have still described each badge as arithmetic over Croma's two published numbers rather than as verified savings.

FAQs

Is an ink tank printer better than a cartridge printer?

For almost anyone who prints regularly, yes - and the reason is running cost rather than print quality. Cartridge printers are cheap to buy: our 24 August 2026 read found them from Rs. 2,499 at Croma. But a replacement cartridge set typically costs Rs. 1,200 to Rs. 1,800 and yields a few hundred pages, so a household printing 100 pages a month can spend more on ink in the first year than the printer cost. Ink tank machines start at Rs. 12,199 here and take ink poured from bottles that yield thousands of pages. The rough dividing line is about twenty pages a month: below it, a cartridge machine is fine and the upfront saving is real; above it, the tank machine is cheaper within a year or two.

What is the cheapest ink tank printer at Croma right now?

Rs. 12,199, for the Epson EcoTank M1120 as listed on 24 August 2026. That is a single-function monochrome machine - it prints black and white only, and it does not scan or copy - which is what keeps it at the bottom of the tier and makes it an excellent buy for a home office that mainly prints documents. If you need colour and scanning, the cheapest tank all-in-one in our read was the HP Smart Tank 520 at Rs. 12,829, though that one is USB-only with no Wi-Fi. For colour, scanning and wireless together, the entry point was the Canon Pixma G3010 at Rs. 13,499.

Should I buy a laser or an inkjet printer?

Buy a laser if your printer sits unused for long stretches, prints mostly text, and needs output that will not smudge. Inkjet print heads dry and clog when a machine goes weeks without use, which is the most common way a household printer dies; laser toner is a dry powder and does not care. Buy an inkjet - specifically a tank inkjet - if you need colour, print photographs, or run the machine frequently enough that drying is not a risk. At Croma on 24 August 2026 the two tiers start within Rs. 800 of each other: Rs. 12,199 for the cheapest tank inkjet, Rs. 12,999 for the cheapest monochrome laser, which makes this a genuine choice rather than a budget question.

What is a laser tank printer and is it worth Rs. 23,599?

A laser tank uses refillable toner poured from a bottle instead of a sealed toner cartridge, applying ink-tank economics to laser printing. The HP Laser Tank MFP 2606sdw at Rs. 23,599 in our read is the only one on this shelf, and on cost per page it is the cheapest printer here to own despite being near the top of the price list. It is worth the money if you print in volume - several hundred pages a month over several years - and it also brings automatic duplex and Wi-Fi. For a household printing a few dozen pages a month it is far more machine than the job needs, and the Rs. 12,199 Epson tank or the Rs. 14,699 duplex laser will do.

Why do so few Croma printers have ratings?

We can report the fact but not the reason. Of the 52 printer, projector and console listings we pulled from Croma's own feed on 24 August 2026, 36 carried no rating at all, and of the 16 that did, most rested on single-figure vote counts - one listing shows 1.0 from a single person, another 4.5 from four. Exactly one, the Canon Pixma E470, carried a substantial sample at 4.1 from 122 votes. Because of that, no comparison on this page rests on a rating, and every card that shows one prints the vote count beside it. If customer feedback matters to your decision, check the manufacturer's own site or another retailer before buying.

More Croma coverage on Zoutons

How Zoutons picks deals Zoutons may earn a commission when you buy through links on this page. Every price, stated MRP, discount percentage, rating and vote count here was read on 24 August 2026 from Croma's own listing feed across three queries - printer, projector and gaming console, two pages each - which returned 52 listings. The 22 seated here are printers only, chosen for ink system, price-band and brand spread; the four Konica Minolta office machines priced above Rs. 47,000, the projectors and the games were excluded as different purchases, and near-identical Epson listings sharing one product photograph were reduced to one. An MRP is the figure Croma's listing states and we have not verified that any machine here was ever sold at it, so every discount percentage on this page is arithmetic over Croma's own two numbers rather than a measured saving. Ratings are Croma's own: 36 of the 52 listings carried none at all, and of the 16 that did, only one rested on more than twenty votes, so no score here should be read as a quality ranking - we have printed the vote count beside every one. Specifications, ink systems, duplex and connectivity claims are quoted from the listings and reported rather than tested; we have not printed a page on any machine on this page. Running-cost statements are general to the cartridge, tank and laser systems rather than measured for a specific model, and actual cost per page varies with the consumable you buy and what you print. Croma prices change frequently and can differ once a bank offer, exchange or coupon is applied at checkout - re-check before paying.
