Two DREAME robot listings state an MRP exactly one hundred times their price - Rs. 46,999 against Rs. 46,99,900 and Rs. 79,999 against Rs. 79,99,900 - each producing a 99 per cent badge. ILIFE's five robot listings carry only two rating pools between them, with three separate models all showing 4.2 from the identical 23,669 ratings. And the discount badge sorts by brand rather than by machine: ILIFE's median is 70 per cent across five listings, Eureka Forbes' is 28, and the single Philips listing - the best-rated on the shelf at 4.3 from 22,891 - shows 7.
We read Myntra's own listing data across three footwear paths on 21 August 2026 - men-flip-flops, women-flip-flops and men-sandals - which returned 96 listings carrying a live price, and seated 22 of them, one per brand, all under Rs. 1,000. A moulded rubber flip-flop is about as standardised an object as a marketplace sells, and the prices reflect that: everything here costs between Rs. 239 and Rs. 913, a spread of under four times. The stated MRPs behind those prices do not. They run from Rs. 399 to Rs. 4,999. Four unrelated brands - JOOTIYAPA, COGS, Paragon and VOKLINE - all state exactly Rs. 999, producing badges of 66, 64, 54 and 50 per cent for what is functionally the same product. Three listings cost exactly Rs. 499 and claim 50, 67 and 72 per cent off. Meanwhile the smallest badge in the read, FLITE's 12 per cent, sits on the highest-rated pair on the page, and the largest, Mast & Harbour's 88 per cent, sits behind a Rs. 4,999 claim on a Rs. 585 sandal.
We read both accessory shelves on the same morning, 21 August 2026 - 64 men's belt and wallet listings from Myntra's own listing data and 155 from AJIO's own search API. On Myntra the discount is a brand-level constant: all seven Van Heusen belts show exactly 55 per cent off across three different prices and three different MRPs, both Louis Philippe belts show 55, all four Louis Philippe wallets show 41, and both Marks & Spencer belts show 50. The same brands on AJIO do nothing of the kind - Van Heusen's fifteen belts there carry eight different badges between 43 and 69 per cent, and Louis Philippe's seven run 21 to 49. What AJIO fixes instead is its own house label: all seven NETPLAY wallets show exactly 70 per cent. Below Rs. 650 both shelves behave the same way, with unfamiliar sellers claiming 70 to 88 per cent against MRPs up to eight times their price and mostly carrying no ratings at all.

Flipkart's 0% Interest Days have ended, so we re-priced this page against live listings on August 7, 2026 rather than leave July's numbers standing. Thirteen of the twenty picks have moved, almost all downward: JBL's Tune 770NC is now exactly half price, the Flip 6 has shed Rs. 2,000, boAt's Airdopes Plus 311 sit at Rs. 799, and the Copilot+ IdeaPad has fallen Rs. 10,000. boAt's direct store is running cuts its marketplace listings don't match — we swept all 970 live listings on boat-lifestyle.com and found 914 products at 40%-plus off, then kept the 21 that earn a slot. The headline math: Nirvana Ion ANC Pro earbuds at 84% off (Rs. 2,199), the Wave Call 3 smartwatch at Rs. 1,399, an AMOLED Lunar Oasis at Rs. 3,499, and a 160W soundbar at Rs. 5,699 — with the verified BOATHEAD code and a 5% prepaid discount stacking on top. boAt's MRPs run theatrical; every pick here was chosen on its absolute price, not its percentage. Amazon's ethnic racks are running a Bestselling Kurtas Under Rs. 399 storefront, and the listings underneath it hold some of the platform's most crowd-verified fashion buys. We swept eight search walls and kept 23 kurtas — every one with a live price re-verified on August 4, 2026, a real MRP, and its actual Amazon rating with review count shown. The GoSriKi bestseller with 8,504 ratings at Rs. 399, Amazon's own Myx label at Rs. 199, a six-pick chikankari counter from Rs. 299, and full kurta sets that cost less than most single pieces. Roles, not rankings: best overall, biggest steal, best full set, the tailor's wildcard.
We read Croma's own listings for 21 air conditioners, 21 refrigerators and 21 washing machines on 19 August 2026. The ACs run from Rs. 26,490 to Rs. 52,490, and sorting that shelf by price gets the answer exactly backwards. Divided by rated capacity, the cheapest machine on the shelf - a 0.8-ton Daikin at Rs. 26,490 - is the most expensive cooling in the read at Rs. 33,112 per ton, while a 1.5-ton Croma-brand convertible split at Rs. 30,290 is Rs. 20,193 per ton. Nine of the 21 listings are Croma's own brand and they hold four of the five best per-ton places. Discounts run 0% to 47% and do not line up with value: the deepest badge in the read is mid-table on cost per ton, and one window unit is listed at a price and an MRP ten rupees apart. We read amazon.in search results across three queries on 20 August 2026 - bluetooth speaker under 2000, portable bluetooth speaker and party speaker bluetooth - which returned 38 listings carrying both a price and a stated MRP, and seated the 20 selling under Rs. 2,000. The finding that shapes the page is what the wattage number is attached to. The two largest power claims in the read are both 48W, from pTron at Rs. 1,889 and Rs. 1,899, and they carry 167 and 112 ratings between them. At Rs. 1,499 a boAt Stone stating 10W RMS carries 12,974, and at the same Rs. 1,899 as the second pTron, a 20W Portronics carries 4,517 at 4.3 - the best average-and-sample pairing on the page. Only three listings here state RMS power at all; the rest publish a bare wattage that is almost certainly peak. Two Dubstep listings at Rs. 649 and Rs. 699, carrying the page's two biggest badges at 89 and 90 per cent, publish an identical 2,220-rating count between them.
We read Croma's own listing data across two appliance categories on 20 August 2026 - refrigerators and washing machines, two pages each - which returned 84 listings carrying both a price and a stated MRP, and seated 22 spanning Rs. 8,090 to Rs. 31,290. The finding that shapes the page is how little anyone has said about these products. Only two listings in the entire read carry a three-figure rating count: a Croma 7.5 kg semi-automatic washer at 4.6 from 120 buyers and a Samsung 7 kg top-loader at 4.4 from 121. Eleven of the 22 have three ratings or fewer and five publish none at all. Against that emptiness, the largest badge on the page - 43 per cent - sits on the lowest-rated appliance in it, a Croma fully-automatic machine rated 2.9 by 67 people, while the two smallest badges sit on Croma's own small refrigerators. The read also contains a clean star-rating comparison: the same Haier 190-litre fridge at 2 and 3 stars, Rs. 1,000 apart.
