Amazon Great Indian Festival 2026 is expected to open around 23-27 September with 24-hour Prime early access and run in waves through Diwali on 8 November. This living page tracks the official announcement, likely bank offers (10 percent partner-bank instant discount, Amazon Pay ICICI stacking) and a 15-minute prep checklist - re-verified every week until the sale goes live.
Thirteen bank offers were listed in the Bank Offer box on amazon.in on 23 August 2026, across five banks. SBI credit cards get a flat Rs. 500 instant discount on EMI transactions above Rs. 10,000, with additional Rs. 250-500 tiers at Rs. 24,990, Rs. 34,990 and Rs. 49,990. Axis Bank credit cards carry the biggest cap: 2.5% up to Rs. 3,000 on EMI above Rs. 7,500. HDFC Bank credit cards get Rs. 60-125 additional discounts on 6-12 month EMI tenures, or 2.5% up to Rs. 300. On plain non-EMI swipes above Rs. 1,000, SBI credit, SBI debit, IndusInd and HSBC cards each take a flat Rs. 50 off. No promo code is needed for any of them - select the eligible card at checkout and the discount applies on the payment page. This page tables every row, the minimum purchase each demands, and which card wins at each ticket size.
We read 125 Croma cooling listings on 23 August 2026 across air coolers, ceiling fans and room heaters, and seated 24 - twelve fans priced Rs. 1,549 to Rs. 8,499 and twelve coolers priced Rs. 2,999 to Rs. 12,510. Heaters were left out as out of season. Three things define this shelf. First, the ratings cannot carry weight: 69 of the 125 listings have no rating at all, and of the 56 that do, most rest on fewer than twenty votes - 4.9 from eight people, 5.0 from one. Second, the house brand's own listings disagree with each other: three Croma coolers sell at exactly Rs. 5,999 against a stated Rs. 10,000 and are rated 4.6 (8 votes), 3.7 (11) and 2.6 (19), while a fourth at Rs. 7,499 scores 1.8. Third, listing counts overstate the shelf - the Crompton Energion NITEO appears four times at one price, the Havells Epic Underlight three times, the atomberg Renesa three times. On fans, the number that matters is the motor: BLDC costs from Rs. 2,499 and repays the premium in a summer.
Amazon's mobiles storefront runs a rotating Top Deals of the Week wall, and this week's rotation is unusually deep. We swept the page and its deal carousels live on August 23, 2026, checked every price against its listed MRP, and kept 17 phones — from a Rs. 9,699 Lava to a Rs. 1,99,999 Galaxy Fold, with the headline act a 16GB Nothing Phone (3) at 46% off. Every pick carries its live Amazon rating and review count where one exists; new launches are flagged as unverified rather than dressed up. Phones selling at list price with no real MRP gap were dropped, and we say which ones.
A living calendar of every Myntra sale in 2026: Big Fashion Festival expected to open 18-22 September with Insider early access, Diwali specials through October, and winter End of Reason Sale expected 5-15 December. Explains when BFF beats EORS, how coupons and bank offers stack, and past-year timing patterns. Re-verified weekly; expected windows are replaced with official dates when Myntra announces.
We read Myntra's men's shirt shelf on 23 August 2026 from the store's own listing data, across men-casual-shirts pages one to four and men-shirts pages one to three, and seated 24 listings priced Rs. 405 to Rs. 999 after removing duplicates on product id and photograph. Seven of the 24 have no published rating whatsoever - and they hold three of the four largest discount badges on the page, at 80, 80 and 79 per cent. Only two listings in the entire read state an MRP below Rs. 1,000; five state exactly Rs. 1,999 and sell at Rs. 405, Rs. 429, Rs. 498, Rs. 553 and Rs. 711. The sharpest illustration is two Roadster shirts priced identically at Rs. 553, one badged 72 per cent and the other 45, because they are measured against different claimed MRPs. Myntra also pools rating counts across a label's catalogue rather than per garment - HIGHLANDER returns 2,23,531 - so we seated one listing per pool and say so on every card.
We read 79 Myntra women's kurta and kurta-set listings on 23 August 2026 and seated 24 priced Rs. 354 to Rs. 1,149, after de-duplicating on productId and on the listing photograph. Three things define this shelf. First, six listings state exactly the same MRP - Rs. 4,345 - across two brands (GoSriKi and SZN) and six different garments selling between Rs. 825 and Rs. 999; five more state Rs. 2,199 on kurtas from Rs. 405 to Rs. 1,001, and eight state Rs. 2,999. Second, the discount badge tracks that MRP field rather than the garment: the cheapest kurta here, at Rs. 354, claims Rs. 999 and shows 65 per cent, while a Rs. 718 Varanga claims Rs. 4,599 and shows 84. Third, Myntra pools rating counts across a label's catalogue - FLOWERVELLY shows 14,010 on two listings, Rimeline 836 on two - so we print the count beside every score. Half the listings here are two- or three-piece sets, which changes the per-garment maths considerably.
We read 152 Nykaa Fashion women's listings on 23 August 2026 from the store's own category feed and seated 24 priced Rs. 307 to Rs. 1,088, after de-duplicating on the listing photograph. Three things define this shelf. First, the house label prices differently from its own marketplace: Twenty Dresses by Nykaa Fashion returned 15 listings and 14 are cut by exactly 30, 32 or 35 per cent, a median of 32, while every other brand in the pull has a median of 47 and a range from 5 per cent (Outzidr) to 81 (MYSHKA). Second, Nykaa Fashion publishes no rating and no review count for any of the 152 listings, so this page carries no rating pills and every judgement on it rests on price, stated MRP, brand behaviour and the stated fibre. Third, colourway repetition inflates the shelf: seven of the house label's 15 listings are one puff-sleeve dress in seven colours, four PIMU listings are one dress at Rs. 1,000, and three Blissclub sweatpants are one garment. We seated one of each.
We read both stores on the same day - 79 Myntra women's kurta and kurta-set listings and 152 Nykaa Fashion women's listings on 23 August 2026, each from the store's own product feed - and compared how they build the numbers they show you. Myntra publishes a rating on effectively every listing but pools the counts across a brand's catalogue in several cases we identified by name, and shares one stated MRP across garments: Rs. 4,345 appears on six listings from two brands, Rs. 2,999 on eight. Its badges run 43 to 84 per cent. Nykaa Fashion publishes no rating on any of its 152 listings, and its badges run 5 to 81 per cent - with the smallest belonging to brands that sell through their own shops and to its house label, Twenty Dresses, which cuts a flat 30 to 35 per cent on 14 of 15 listings. Both shelves inflate choice with colourways. On neither store is the percentage worth reading.
We read 230 AJIO men's shoe listings on 23 August 2026 across sneakers, casual shoes and sports shoes, and seated 24 priced Rs. 150 to Rs. 1,500 after de-duplicating on the product photograph. Two things define this shelf. First, AJIO publishes no rating and no review count for any listing on it - not one of the 230 - so this page carries no rating pills and every judgement here rests on price, stated MRP, brand and what the listing itself specifies. Second, the discount badge is a brand policy rather than an offer: RED TAPE returned 36 listings and every single one is 80 to 86 per cent off, with stated MRPs from Rs. 5,899 to Rs. 9,599 that climb in step with the selling price so the badge never moves. Buda Jeans Co, OFF LIMITS and ASTEROID do the same across their smaller catalogues. Against that, Shein discounts by 19 per cent, Liberty by 41 and Campus between 33 and 56. Only three listings here state an MRP below Rs. 1,000.
We read Amazon India's air fryer shelf on 23 August 2026 across eight search queries and seated 22 listings, priced Rs. 2,499 to Rs. 4,799, after removing duplicates on ASIN and on the product photograph. Before anything else, a data warning: four listings printed a stated MRP of exactly one hundred times their selling price - Rs. 3,199 against Rs. 3,19,900, and three more like it - which would have rendered as 99 per cent discounts. We dropped all four. What remains shows a badge that runs backwards against the evidence. Philips, the most established name in the read with 5,708 ratings at 4.4, carries the smallest discount on the page at 22 per cent; the deepest badges, up to 76 per cent off a claimed Rs. 12,499, sit on listings with 122, 40 and zero ratings. The machine that wins on evidence is a Tower 4.5-litre at Rs. 3,699 with 9,431 ratings at 4.6, the largest crowd and highest average here. Capacity barely tracks price: 2 litres costs Rs. 2,999, 5 litres Rs. 3,399.
A living calendar of every Nykaa sale in 2026: rolling brand days now, Diwali Dhamaka expected 25 Oct-4 Nov, and Pink Friday - the year's deepest beauty discounts - expected 21-28 November. Includes which event is genuinely cheapest for mass vs luxe beauty, how bank offers stack, and past-year patterns. Re-verified weekly; expected windows are replaced with official dates the day Nykaa announces them.
We read 42 Amazon.in listings on 22 August 2026 across three searches - steam iron, dry iron and garment steamer - and seated 24 of them, priced Rs. 429 to Rs. 5,499. The clearest pattern is where the evidence sits. The five largest review counts in the whole read belong to dry irons under Rs. 1,700: Bajaj's DX-7 at 56,337, Philips' GC1905 at 53,270, USHA's Armor at 26,806, Philips' GC181 at 22,001 and Orient's Fabrijoy at 21,914. The garment steamers, which cost three to five times as much, carry 8, 44, 117, 896 and 5,628. Two brand patterns are worth naming: Philips is the least-discounted seller here, with badges of 6, 16, 24, 26 and 27 per cent where every other brand has a listing above 40; and Bajaj's dry irons average 4.2 across 106,000 reviews while its two steam irons average 3.7 and 3.4. We also excluded three listings whose stated MRP is exactly one hundred times the selling price, all of which render as 99 per cent off.
We read 46 Amazon.in listings on 22 August 2026 across three searches - mixer grinder, mixer grinder 750 watt and juicer mixer grinder - and seated 25 after removing duplicate ASINs and duplicate product photography, priced Rs. 1,249 to Rs. 8,499. The clearest finding is that wattage carries no price information: thirteen seated listings state 750 watts and they run from Rs. 1,599 (HydroGrind) to Rs. 5,640 (Bosch TrueMixx Pro), with Bosch alone selling two 750W machines two thousand rupees apart and Longway hedging its claim into 'Up to 750W Max Output'. The second finding is about evidence. The most-reviewed product on the shelf, the Prestige Iris at Rs. 3,649, carries 74,739 reviews and averages 3.8 - below the Rs. 1,275 Lifelong, the Rs. 1,799 NutriPro and the Rs. 2,199 Cookwell. The best well-evidenced average in the read, 4.5 from 10,837, belongs to Sujata's Rs. 6,990 machine. Three listings we seated carry review counts of four, 14 and 73 and show no rating pill at all.
We read 74 Croma listings on 22 August 2026 across three searches - microwave oven, OTG oven and convection microwave - and seated 25 after removing listings that shared a product photograph, priced Rs. 1,899 to Rs. 92,290. The retailer's own pricing splits cleanly by category. Croma-branded oven toaster grills here are 53, 40, 33 and 25 per cent off; Croma-branded microwaves are 5, 4, 1 and 0. Its 20-litre convection oven is Rs. 9,990 against a stated Rs. 10,000 - a ten-rupee markdown - and its 23-litre is Rs. 11,390 against Rs. 11,500. Outside brands discount normally, up to 35 per cent on a 30-litre IFB. The second pattern is evidential: the four best-rated listings on the shelf cost between Rs. 6,690 and Rs. 16,990 and carry 79, 73, 55 and 44 ratings, while every listing above Rs. 20,000 - including a Rs. 92,290 Bosch built-in - carries none at all. The largest badge in the read, 70 per cent, sits on a WARMEX OTG with one rating.
