Bath mats are a shelf where there is very little to compare, so what AJIO does and does not publish matters. We read 34 listings on 5 October 2026 and seated 20. AJIO publishes no star average and no rating count on a single one of them, which leaves the discount badge as the only comparative figure the shelf offers. Three of those nine share a single 436-rating pool and the other six publish no rating at all. The cheapest bag here, at Rs. 245, has the largest rating pool in the read.

Cookware is sold on its discount badge, so it is worth checking what the badge is attached to. We parsed 187 Flipkart listings on 5 October 2026 and seated 24. The two names an Indian kitchen actually knows, Hawkins and Prestige, account for 28 listings and carry a median badge of 12% - Hawkins 10%, Prestige 20%. The 66 listings carrying fewer than 100 ratings carry a median badge of 63%, topping out at 89%. One unknown-brand dosa tawa sells at Rs. 357 while stating a Rs. 2,699 list price - 2.57 times the Rs. 1,050 Hawkins states for its own tawa, which sells at Rs. 985. Twenty-one listings under 11 brand names state an identical Rs. 999 and sell between Rs. 180 and Rs. 606. The most-rated tawa in the read, with 63,028 ratings, costs Rs. 379.

Every insulated flask on Amazon prints its capacity in the title, which makes this an easy shelf to price properly. We read 30 listings on 5 October 2026 and seated 16. Divided by stated capacity the shelf runs from Rs. 53.90 to Rs. 206.43 per 100 ml - a 3.83-fold spread - and the dearest flask by volume has the fourth lowest sticker price on the page. Five listings state 1 litre and sell at Rs. 539, Rs. 819, Rs. 869, Rs. 975 and Rs. 997. The most-rated flask here, with 152,820 ratings, sits at Rs. 131.80 per 100 ml, dearer by volume than every 1-litre listing on the page. One Rs. 429 flask states a Rs. 14,300 MRP - a 33.33x multiple, where the next highest stated MRP is Rs. 2,455.

Board games are hard to price-compare because the name on the box is often the only thing two listings share. We parsed 61 Flipkart listings on 5 October 2026 and seated 22. Four listings carry the name 'Splendor' and sell at Rs. 349, Rs. 377, Rs. 880 and Rs. 2,559 - a 7.33-fold spread - under four different seller names, and the shelf gives no comparable statement of edition or components for any of them. Two more share the phrase 'Ultimate Banking' at Rs. 1,465 and Rs. 1,516, badged 63% and 49%. One generic wooden memory chess game is sold by four sellers at Rs. 162, Rs. 162, Rs. 180 and Rs. 227, badged 74% to 84%. The largest rating pool in the read, 13,824, sits on a Rs. 305 listing.

Amazon has confirmed the Great Indian Festival 2026 starts on 8 October, and its early-deals page is already live, with SBI debit and credit cards named for a 10% instant discount. Every early-deal shelf is capped at around Rs. 1,000, so we swept Electronics, Home & Kitchen and Fashion & Beauty on 26 September and kept only branded products with real ratings behind them. Twenty-two picks made it, from the boAt Rockerz 255 Pro+ at Rs. 999 (over two lakh ratings) and Logitech's silent M240 mouse to Puma slides at Rs. 799, an 18-jar Solimo pantry set at Rs. 459 and Rs. 79 Halonix Diwali lights. Every price, MRP, rating and review count was read from the product page the same day.

A mixer grinder is a motor in a box and almost every listing prints the motor's wattage, so the shelf can be priced per watt. We read Vijay Sales' 80 listings on 4 October 2026 and divided each by its stated rating. The cheapest watt here is Rs. 319 per 100 W, on a Rs. 3,828 hand blender; the cheapest listing on the shelf, at Rs. 699, is only the fifth cheapest watt. Sticker prices span 30x and per-watt prices 5.9x. Four stated 1,000 W grinders here run Rs. 561, Rs. 600, Rs. 790 and Rs. 1,500 per 100 W - 2.7x apart for the same number on the box - and one brand charges double its own kilowatt rate for 200 W less. Note before you start: this retailer publishes no customer ratings at all, on any of the 80 listings.

Flipkart's quick-commerce store, Minutes, is running Big Billion Days Early Bird Deals ahead of the main sale on October 9. Behind the banner sits a curtain-raiser page of gadgets and small appliances: headsets, smartwatches, trimmers, chargers, power banks, air fryers, kettles and irons. We opened the store for a central Bengaluru pincode on October 4, 2026, went through the shelves one at a time and read every price off its product page. The result is 22 picks from Rs. 159 to Rs. 2,549: a Zebronics gaming mouse that Flipkart tags as its lowest price since launch, boAt Airdopes and the Rockerz 255 Pro+ at Rs. 999 each, a Mi 20,000 mAh power bank at Rs. 1,699, a Philips beard trimmer at Rs. 999 and a KENT 4-litre air fryer at Rs. 2,549. Each card shows the Flipkart rating and rating count where the product page had one, the bank-offer price where one was shown, and whether the item came with a 7-day return or brand support only. Minutes prices and stock vary by pincode.

Amazon has put up a festival page for Amazon Business, its free buying account for shops, offices, restaurants and freelancers, ahead of the Great Indian Festival that starts on October 8, 2026. The page promises three things: bulk discounts, GST invoices that let registered businesses claim up to 18% input credit, and 10% assured cashback on the first three business purchases. You qualify with a GST number, an Udyam registration, a business PAN or an FSSAI licence, and Amazon says the check takes under two minutes. We read the page on October 4, 2026, and then went through the 48 products in Amazon's own Business Savings Guide to see what the business price is worth in rupees. The answer ranges from 1% to 52%, with a median of about 8%. This guide covers who can sign up, how the GST input credit works on a real invoice, where the business price is large and where it is negligible, and what to set up before the sale opens.

Flipkart has switched on Big Billion Days prices for a set of phones before the sale opens on October 9. Its mobile store page now reads Early Bird Deals, Sale Price Live, and lists 25 phones from BOLTT, LAVA, POCO, Tecno, Motorola, OPPO, Infinix, Ai+, realme and Nothing. The page itself is only banners, so on October 4, 2026 we opened every product page and wrote down the listed price, the MRP, the lower price Flipkart shows once bank offers are applied, the rating and the rating count. Twenty-two phones made the list. The cheapest is the BOLTT Evo at Rs. 9,999, or Rs. 8,999 with offers. The realme P4 5G is Rs. 30,999, or Rs. 28,499 with the bank offer. The Nothing Phone (4a) is Rs. 44,999 and falls to Rs. 39,685 with the bank offer, and the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ is Rs. 47,999 against an MRP of Rs. 84,999. Each card gives both prices, the exchange and no-cost EMI lines from the product page, and a note where the rating count is too thin to trust.

A "24 hours Replacement" tag on a Hammer product page reads like a service promise. The policy says otherwise: such products are "eligible for Repair/replace only" and for "repair within 48-72 hours of delivery" - the hours are your deadline to report damage, not the brand's to fix it. We read the page first-party on 4 October 2026. A 24-hour clock from delivery governs damaged goods, refunds and accessories alike, and accessories are "not covered under warranty" at all. Repair or replace is available "only one time for any Hammer product", the whole process "usually takes 10-12 days", and a refund may arrive after "deducting the bank and delivery charges".

The cheapest bangle here is Rs. 9.32, inside a set of 40 costing Rs. 373; the cheapest single bangle is Rs. 290. Sticker prices across the seated set span 5.2x and per-bangle prices 95.5x, and the ranking inverts: the dearest listing on the page, a Rs. 1,145 wedding chuda, is its seventh cheapest bangle.
