GoDaddy Subprocessor List 2026: 27 Companies, 16 American, None Indian
GoDaddy publishes the full list of companies it allows to process data passing through your account, and we read it on 23 October 2026 from its India site. It names 27 subprocessors. Sixteen are incorporated in the United States; two in Switzerland, two in France, and one each in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Ukraine, Canada and the Cayman Islands, with Cisco listed across three. None is incorporated in India. OpenAI, L.L.C. appears in the same table as Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare and Stripe. Several rows cover "customer hosted data including data from the customer's customer(s)" - your users, not just you. The page matters for a procedural reason too: GoDaddy's DPA says notice of a new subprocessor may be given by updating this list, and 30 days of silence is deemed acceptance. GoDaddy accepts liability for its subprocessors but gives no audit right. Nothing purchased; not legal advice.
GoDaddy Data Processing Addendum 2026: No India Clause, No Audit Right
GoDaddy's Data Processing Addendum governs your customers' personal data - not your own - and applies automatically from the day your agreement starts. Read in full on 23 October 2026 from GoDaddy's India site, it mentions "India" and "DPDP" zero times; the authorities it names are the North Rhine-Westphalia Commissioner, the Swiss FDPIC and the UK ICO. It states that nothing in it gives you a right to audit GoDaddy; you may request compliance information, and if GoDaddy does not reply within 45 days your remedy is to terminate. New subprocessors get 60 days' notice where practicable and you have 30 days to object - silence is deemed acceptance, and notice may be nothing more than a webpage being updated. GoDaddy is not responsible for backing up your data, and you answer your own users' access and deletion requests. Not legal advice.
GoDaddy Reseller Agreement 2026: Three Days Notice or You Pay Again
A full read of GoDaddy's Reseller Agreement - 289 substantive sentences, the longest document on its legal shelf - taken from godaddy.com on 22 October 2026. Notice to stop the annual renewal must reach GoDaddy no later than three days before the billing date; miss it and access continues indefinitely with the card on file charged at then-current rates. The 30-day refund covers the annual licensing fee only - not services your customers bought, and not commission you earned. Breach of any term forfeits all commissions earned, further accounts are cancelled unpaid, and a terminated account cannot be reactivated after 60 calendar days. Chargebacks and trademark disputes are separate grounds for holding commission. Not legal advice.
GoDaddy Copyright Complaint Rules 2026: Arizona Courts and 14 Days
A full read of GoDaddy's Trademark and Copyright Infringement Policy, taken from godaddy.com on 22 October 2026. The clause that matters most outside the United States: a counter-notification must include consent to the jurisdiction of the US federal court for the District of Arizona - or, if your address is outside the US, any judicial district in which GoDaddy may be found - plus agreement to accept service of process from the complainant. Restored material comes back in not less than ten and not more than fourteen business days, unless the complainant files for a court order first. A legitimate copyright claim suspends the account, not just the file. State and Supplemental Register trademarks do not qualify. Not legal advice.
GoDaddy Workspace Email Terms 2026: 14 Days to Save Your Trial Data
A full read of GoDaddy's Workspace Service Agreement - the contract behind Workspace Email, Online Calendar and Online Storage - taken from godaddy.com on 22 October 2026. An expired trial can be converted within fourteen days of expiry; after that GoDaddy reserves the right to delete the account and any customer data in it, and you are limited to one 30-day trial. Online Storage carries two caps that sit on top of whatever space you bought: 50,000 folders, and 1,00,000 files in any single directory, with suspension named as the consequence. Exceeding a plan's usage limits lets GoDaddy either charge usage fees or terminate the account. Spam filtering is disclaimed in both directions, and the document states the services are not intended for archival purposes.
GoDaddy Change of Registrant 2026: 60-Day Lock and a 10-Day Deadline
Take ownership of a domain at GoDaddy and you cannot move it to another registrar for 60 days — and if it changes hands again inside that window, GoDaddy's agreement says the period “will begin again”. The new owner gets ten days to log in and confirm or the transaction lapses. GoDaddy's “sole role ... is as processor”: the buyer assumes responsibility for whether the seller actually registered the domain, had the right to transfer it, and whether the buyer's own entitlement is “valid and/or enforceable” afterwards. And .US domains carry US Nexus requirements most Indian buyers fail — including US-based name servers — with “immediate cancellation” if they cannot be verified.
GoDaddy Cash Prepaid Terms 2026: Dormant 3 Years and It Is Handed Over
GoDaddy Cash — what GoDaddy's own agreement calls “fka Good as Gold” — is a prepaid balance with terms worth reading before you fund it. Minimum first deposit USD 100, held in U.S. Dollars only. It pays you no interest, and the agreement states that any interest accruing, GoDaddy “shall be entitled to receive and keep”. Balances of USD 2,000 or more trigger KYC checks. You bear every wire fee, incoming and outgoing, including intermediary and GoDaddy's own bank's — fees GoDaddy says “may reduce” what lands. Refunds come net a Service Fee and may take eight weeks or more. And a balance inactive for three years “for any reason” is turned over to the authorities.
GoDaddy SSL Certificate Terms 2026: Validity Capped at 398 Days
We read GoDaddy's Certificate Services Agreement on 20 October 2026 — the freshest document on its legal shelf, stamped Last Revised 01-10-2026. The headline clause is not GoDaddy's rule at all: "a new regulation introduced by CA/Browser Forum requires that all SSL certificates issued on or after September 1, 2020 be valid for no more than 398 days", so GoDaddy re-validates and re-issues automatically while the subscription stays active. A multi-year SSL purchase is a multi-year subscription, not one long certificate. Three more clauses matter: AutoSSL certificates may not leave GoDaddy-managed infrastructure and can be revoked "without prior notice"; code-signing keys must sit on a separate USB token; and unused SSL setup expires one year from purchase. A document read, not an accusation.
GoDaddy Auctions Rules 2026: Payment Due 48 Hours After You Win
We read GoDaddy's Auctions Membership Agreement on 20 October 2026 — the contract behind every expired-domain and member-to-member listing. It stamps itself Last Revised 29-08-2025. Winning obliges you: "you are obligated to complete the transaction", and payment is due within 48 hours or a card on file is charged on the third day. The bid is not the bill — on expired names a full year's renewal or transfer fee plus the ICANN fee is added. Expired sales are not final for 45 days, because the original registrant can still reclaim the name. Disputes must be emailed within 4 days of the sale, and GoDaddy may charge an administration fee to investigate. A document read, not an accusation.
GoDaddy Domain Dispute Policy 2026: 10 Days to Stop a Transfer
We read the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy as GoDaddy publishes it, on 20 October 2026. It stamps itself Last Revised 24-10-2019 — because it is ICANN's policy, not GoDaddy's, changeable only "with the permission of ICANN". A complainant must prove all three elements: confusing similarity to their mark, no rights or legitimate interests of yours, and registration and use in bad faith. The complainant pays the provider's fees unless you ask for a three-member panel. The remedy is cancellation or transfer only — never damages. And if a panel rules against you, GoDaddy "will wait ten (10) business days" before acting, and will not act at all if you file suit first. Not legal advice.
GoDaddy CashParking Terms 2026: Unpaid Earnings Can Be Forfeited
We read GoDaddy's CashParking Service Agreement on 19 October 2026 — the contract behind pointing an unused domain at an ad-funded search page. It stamps itself Last Revised 07-02-2025. Three clauses matter most. The daily revenue figure in your dashboard is explicitly an estimate that "may be different"; commissions are paid monthly in arrears (January's earnings in February); and GoDaddy reserves the right to "require the forfeiture of any previously earned revenue ... which has yet to be paid" where it believes, in its "sole and absolute discretion", that you broke the terms. You also authorise debit entries to your own bank account to reverse incorrect payments. Twelve further clauses restrict what you may do with your own parked page. A document read, not an accusation.
GoDaddy AI Terms 2026: Credits Expire in a Year and Do Not Roll Over
GoDaddy's AI Terms of Use, read on its Indian site on 15 October 2026. The credit rules first: "AI Credits expire one (1) year after purchase or issuance ..., do not roll over, and any unused credits are forfeited when they expire or when your plan ends", and they "have no cash value, are not refundable". The burn rate "may change over time" and "our metering and billing records are authoritative". On ownership: you "own the Output", but GoDaddy "does not represent or warrant that your Output can be protected by copyright". And on bots: erroneous replies "could include promises, offers, claims ... on your behalf that you may be required to stand behind". Quoted verbatim. Not legal advice.
GoDaddy Website Backup 2026: Files Over 4 GB Are Not Backed Up
GoDaddy's Backup Services Agreement, read on its Indian site on 15 October 2026. Under "Limitations" it states one sentence worth the whole document: "The Services do not provide backups for files larger than 4 gigabytes (GB) and for temporary cache files and folders." Retention is "the last 30 days of Content backups on a rolling basis", plus 30 days after the product has been cancelled. Fill your quota and GoDaddy "will stop creating new backups" — no notice obligation stated. And the backup contract recommends a second backup: "we would recommend you also consider deploying other measures such as maintaining independent archival and backup copies". Quoted verbatim. Not legal advice.
GoDaddy Domain Transfer 2026: 12 Reasons It Gets Rejected
GoDaddy's Domain Name Transfer Agreement, read on its Indian site on 14 October 2026 and stamped "Last Revised: 21-10-2020". It publishes twelve grounds on which a transfer can be rejected — four of them waiting periods: 60 days since registration, 60 days since the last transfer in, 60 days since the registrant changed, 10 days since a Change of Account, plus a 30-day order expiry and the 45-day post-expiry grace period. Above the list: "GoDaddy may elect to accept or reject your domain name transfer application for any reason at its sole discretion." And a renewal paid inside that grace period can vanish: "the renewal year will be lost", "GoDaddy will not credit that year" and "GoDaddy will not intervene". Quoted verbatim. Not legal advice.
GoDaddy Privacy Policy 2026: It Does Not Answer Do Not Track Signals
GoDaddy's global privacy notice, read on its Indian site on 14 October 2026, stamped "Last Revised: 28-05-2026". It addresses the browser setting most notices ignore, and declines it: "we do not respond to ‘Do Not Track’ signals", while recognising the Global Privacy Control "where required by applicable law". The retention section contains no period at all — no days, months or years — only three factors, the first being "if you still have an account". It states "We do not sell… personal data" four lines above a disclosure list including "marketers and advertisers", and carves out a sale of the business. To its credit, a rewrite cannot "reduce the rights of affected data subjects". Quoted verbatim. Not legal advice.
GoDaddy Unlimited Hosting 2026: Capped at 25% of One CPU Core
GoDaddy's Hosting & Security Services Agreement, read on its Indian site on 14 October 2026, stamped "Last Revised: 30-09-2026". It offers "unlimited bandwidth" and says "we do not set a limit" — then states that all plans, "including the unlimited plans", are capped at 100GB of disk storage, 2,50,000 inodes, 1,000 tables per database, 25% of one CPU core, 512MB of RAM, 100 connections and 1 MB/s disk IO. Exceed them and an account "may be temporarily or permanently suspended". It also says "Our servers are not an archive", that on cancellation "we will delete all such content", and that the 99.9% uptime guarantee pays 5% of one month's fee as store credit, if you ask. Quoted verbatim. Not legal advice.
GoDaddy Refund Policy Changes 15 October 2026: Renewals Lose Refunds
GoDaddy's live refund policy carries a notice in capitals: "OUR REFUND POLICY IS CHANGING, EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 15, 2026." We read the current page and the published replacement side by side. The 30-day annual and 48-hour monthly windows do not move. What moves is the clock: today the refund date "includes the date any renewal is processed"; from Wednesday it "specifically excludes" it, and "GoDaddy does not offer refunds on renewals (manual or auto-renewal)" except where section 3 says so. The 45-day window on a one-year domain auto-renewal has no equivalent in the new text. A 30-day hardware return is added; monthly IT Services becomes "Fully non-refundable". Not legal advice.
GoDaddy Domain Privacy Terms 2026: When GoDaddy Can Reveal Your Name
GoDaddy's Domain Name Proxy Agreement — the contract behind its paid Whois privacy — read on 13 October 2026, stamped "Last Revised: 01-04-2024". The product works by substitution: "GoDaddy will display its contact information in the publicly available ‘Whois’ directory in place of Your information." But section 4 reserves "the absolute right and power, in its sole discretion and without any liability to You whatsoever, to: Cancel the privacy service… and/or reveal Your name and personal information" — on a list that includes "a reasonable threat of litigation against GoDaddy (as determined by GoDaddy in its sole and absolute discretion)". Quoted verbatim. Not legal advice.
GoDaddy Domain Renewal Price 2026: It Is the Strike-Through, Not the Sale
GoDaddy's Domain Name Registration Agreement, read on 13 October 2026 and stamped "Last Revised: 24-08-2026". It answers the question the advertised price does not: "the renewal price for any domain name in any TLD will be the same as the list (non-sale) price" — and it prints a rupee example, "if a domain name has a sale price of Rs. 856.20, with the list (non-sale) price shown (as a strike-through) at Rs. 951.43, the renewal price will be Rs. 951.43*". The asterisk means "subject to change". Also inside: "Automatic Renewal is the default setting", "Domain name renewals will be non-refundable", and the two grace periods that are "not guaranteed". Quoted verbatim. Not legal advice.
GoDaddy Universal Terms 2026: Every Customer Is a Business Customer
GoDaddy's Universal Terms of Service — the master agreement under every other GoDaddy contract — read on its Indian site on 13 October 2026, stamped "Last Revised: 03-06-2026". Section 1 defines every customer as a "business customer", sweeping in "freelancers, consultants, influencers, content creators, job seekers, and defensive domain registrations", and states: "Our Services are not intended for private, personal or household use." Liability is capped at "$ 10,000.00 U.S. DOLLARS"; changes are "effective immediately upon posting"; and on termination GoDaddy may "remove and destroy any data and files stored by you on its servers". Quoted verbatim. Not legal advice.
GoDaddy Hosting Plans India: Rs. 89 Starter to Rs. 399 Ultimate
GoDaddy's Indian web hosting page listed four cPanel plans on 31 August 2026 — Starter at Rs. 89 a month against a struck Rs. 299, Economy at Rs. 219 against Rs. 599, Deluxe at Rs. 329 against Rs. 849 and Ultimate at Rs. 399 against Rs. 1,099. Every rate is quoted for the first three-year term, so the real commitments are Rs. 3,204 to Rs. 14,364 over 36 months, and the page publishes no renewal rate at all. The detail that decides the choice is website count: Starter and Economy both host exactly one site, so Economy's extra Rs. 130 a month buys 15 GB, a free domain, free email and a one-year SSL rather than room to grow. Deluxe at Rs. 329 is the first plan that hosts more than one website, at ten, and Ultimate's 25 sites work out to Rs. 15.96 each.
GoDaddy Builder Plans 2026: What 150 AI Credits Cost at Rs. 699 a Month
GoDaddy's India website builder page on 29 August 2026 shows four plans: a Free tier with 50 AI credits a month and no card required, Starter at Rs. 699 a month, Professional at Rs. 1,699 and Ultimate at Rs. 6,499, every paid one billed annually at Rs. 8,388, Rs. 20,388 and Rs. 77,988. Eight days earlier we read the same URL and it showed three differently-named plans at Rs. 249, Rs. 599 and Rs. 899. The product has been rebuilt around monthly AI credits, and the credits get more expensive as you climb: Rs. 4.66 each on Starter against Rs. 8.67 on Ultimate. Per published site the order reverses, from Rs. 699 down to about Rs. 130, which is what the tiers are actually priced on.
GoDaddy Website Builder Price India 2026: Rs. 249 to Rs. 899 a Month
GoDaddy's India Website Builder pricing panel, read 21 August 2026, shows three paid plans under its Annual Plans toggle: Basic at Rs. 249.00 a month, Premium at Rs. 599.00 and Commerce at Rs. 899.00, alongside a free tier and a 7-day trial. Templates, a free custom domain, professional email, Airo AI tools and advanced analytics appear on all three cards, so the paid tiers buy marketing volume and selling rather than a better builder. Two things an Indian buyer should read first: four payment and selling bullets on that rupee-priced page carry GoDaddy's own US-only or US-and-Canada-only notes, and the Commerce card quotes a 2.7% + 30c card transaction fee in cents. The panel states no renewal price.
GoDaddy Hosting Price in India 2026: Rs. 89 a Month, Then Rs. 299
We rendered GoDaddy's own India hosting and website-builder pages on 20 August 2026 and transcribed the plan cards exactly as they appear. Web hosting starts at Rs. 89.00 a month on the Starter plan, with Economy at Rs. 219, Deluxe at Rs. 329 and Ultimate at Rs. 399. Every one of those is a first-term price tied to a three-year commitment, which GoDaddy states on the card, alongside struck-through standard rates of Rs. 299, Rs. 599, Rs. 849 and Rs. 1,099 a month. Over the full term the four plans cost Rs. 3,204, Rs. 7,884, Rs. 11,844 and Rs. 14,364 - and twelve months of Starter at the standard rate costs Rs. 3,588, more than the entire three-year introductory term. The step from Starter to Economy is the one that matters for a first website: it adds a free domain, free email, an SSL certificate and 15 GB of storage for Rs. 130 a month. Website Builder tiers are Rs. 249, Rs. 599 and Rs. 899.
GoDaddy Hosting Price India 2026: Rs. 89/mo Intro, Rs. 299 Renewal
GoDaddy India advertises web hosting from Rs. 89 a month, and we read the four shared-hosting plans off GoDaddy's own en-in pricing page on 18 August 2026 to find out what that means. Every advertised price is a first-term rate on a three-year plan - the cards say 'For first 3-yr term' - so the Rs. 89 rate is Rs. 3,204 paid up front for 36 months, and the struck-through figure beside it is the standard rate the plan moves to afterwards. Starter is Rs. 89 then Rs. 299, Economy Rs. 219 then Rs. 599, Deluxe Rs. 329 then Rs. 849, and Ultimate Rs. 399 then Rs. 1,099. The plan with the largest badge has the steepest increase: Starter's 'Save 70%' is the same fact as it costing 3.4 times more in year four, while Deluxe's smaller 61 per cent badge comes with the gentlest step at 2.6 times. Starter and Economy both host one website; Deluxe is the first plan with more, at ten sites, 50 GB and unlimited SSL.
