GoDaddy Hosting Plans India: Rs. 89 Starter to Rs. 399 Ultimate

GoDaddy's Indian web hosting page listed four cPanel plans on 31 August 2026: Starter at Rs. 89 a month against a struck Rs. 299, Economy at Rs. 219 against Rs. 599, Deluxe at Rs. 329 against Rs. 849 and Ultimate at Rs. 399 against Rs. 1,099.

Every one of those four prices carries the same small line underneath it: “For first 3-yr term”. That is a 36-month commitment, billed as a monthly rate, and it is the only term the page prices.

What the page does not print anywhere is the renewal rate. There is no figure on it for what month 37 costs. That is worth saying plainly, because the struck price sitting next to each plan is a list rate, not a stated renewal — we cannot tell you the two are the same number, and GoDaddy does not say so here.

The single most useful line in GoDaddy's own feature list is the website count. Starter hosts 1 website. Economy, at two-and-a-half times the price, also hosts 1 website.

So the Rs. 130 a month between them does not buy room to grow. It buys 15 GB of extra storage, a free domain for a year, free email and a one-year SSL certificate. Those are real inclusions — a .com registration alone is not free — but they are inclusions, not capacity.

The capacity jump is the next step up. Deluxe is Rs. 110 a month more than Economy and takes you from one website to ten, and from 25 GB to 50 GB. If you expect to host more than one site at any point, Deluxe is where the ladder actually starts.

Divide each plan's price by what it gives you and the ladder makes more sense than the headline rates do. Storage runs from Rs. 8.90 per GB a month on Starter down to Rs. 5.32 on Ultimate — a real but gentle improvement.

Per website, the same arithmetic collapses. Starter and Economy work out to Rs. 89 and Rs. 219 per site a month because they host one apiece. Deluxe is Rs. 32.90 a site and Ultimate Rs. 15.96.

That is the whole shape of GoDaddy's pricing here: storage is priced almost flat, and what you are really buying as you move up is permission to host more sites on the same account.

For one small site and nothing else, Starter at Rs. 89 is the cheapest way in, as long as you have a domain already — it is the only plan with no domain, no email and no SSL in its list.

For one site that needs a domain, an email address and a certificate, Economy is the honest entry price at Rs. 219. For anything past a single site, skip to Deluxe: Rs. 110 more a month for ten sites is the only genuinely steep value step in the range.

Ultimate earns its Rs. 399 only if you will actually run more than ten sites. At 25 sites it is the cheapest per site by a distance; at two sites it is Deluxe with a bigger bill.
