Amazon Great Indian Festival 2026 is expected to open in early October (Flipkart has dated Big Billion Days 9 October, and Amazon has opened alongside it for three years) with 24-hour Prime early access and run in waves through Diwali on 8 November. This living page tracks the official announcement, likely bank offers (10 percent partner-bank instant discount, Amazon Pay ICICI stacking) and a 15-minute prep checklist - re-verified every week until the sale goes live.
Flipkart has opened a Big Billion Days 2026 page for Samsung ahead of the 9 October sale, and it already puts numbers on eight Galaxy lines. The headline is the Galaxy S25 (128 GB): a Rs. 62,999 selling price against an MRP of Rs. 1,04,999, which falls to Rs. 57,999 with a Rs. 5,000 coupon and to Rs. 53,999 with a Flipkart Axis or Flipkart SBI credit card. The Galaxy S25 FE is shown from Rs. 46,999, the Galaxy S26 series from Rs. 74,999, the Galaxy A36 5G and Galaxy F70 Pro from Rs. 25,999, the Galaxy F70e 5G from Rs. 16,999, the Galaxy F08 from Rs. 15,999 and the Galaxy Z Fold8 series from Rs. 1,05,999. This tracker puts each banner price next to what the product page showed on 5 October 2026, including the lower price Flipkart quotes once bank offers are applied, and notes which phones can be bought now and which are wishlist only until the sale opens.
Croma lets business buyers put a GSTIN on a purchase, and the window for doing it is narrower than most people assume. We read croma.com's FAQ first-party on 5 October 2026. The number can be supplied only "in the field provided while placing an order online" or to store staff "at the time of billing" - and a separate answer closes the door behind it: "once the invoice is generated, details cannot be changed!" The credit itself is not immediate: Croma states it arrives "once it is reflected in the GSTR 2B after the 15th of the following month from the month of purchase". There is no minimum spend, but the claim is limited to purchases "related to business". Nothing here is tax advice.
Sliders are a shelf where the same shoe turns up several times, so the useful check is the rating count rather than the badge. We parsed 63 Myntra listings on 5 October 2026 and seated 22. Three listings are the Puma Leadcat 2.0 and they sell at Rs. 999, Rs. 1,124 and Rs. 1,249 - all three stating the same Rs. 2,499 MRP and all three displaying the identical 4.4 stars from 25,847 ratings. An exactly matching count means one product record, so that is Rs. 250 of difference for the same listing. Two Wave Flip listings sit Rs. 40 apart on one 24,329-rating pool, and eight adidas AQUO listings run Rs. 943 to Rs. 991 with pools from 8 to 1,738.
Neeman's publishes a page headed "Refund policy" whose central sentence rules refunds out. "Please note that we do not offer refunds at this time. Only exchanges are supported." We read it first-party on 5 October 2026. The window is a Free 7-day Trial Policy counted from delivery, and the pair must come back "Unused and in the same condition as received" with original packaging and tags - an indoor trial. Socks sit outside all of it: they cannot be returned or exchanged at all, single pairs or combo packs, and "Refunds will not be provided under any circumstances". EMI orders get one exchange, subject to size availability. COD charges of Rs. 29 to Rs. 100 are never refunded, and a wrong or missing delivery must be reported with photographs within 48 hours.
Bath mats are a shelf where there is very little to compare, so what AJIO does and does not publish matters. We read 34 listings on 5 October 2026 and seated 20. AJIO publishes no star average and no rating count on a single one of them, which leaves the discount badge as the only comparative figure the shelf offers. That badge does not survive examination: one house label supplies 14 of the 34 listings and its badges run 6%, 30%, 37%, 48%, 59%, 63%, 63%, 63%, 66%, 66%, 66%, 66%, 67% and 67%. Counted per mat, the deepest badge in the read, 81%, costs Rs. 190 a mat, while a listing badged 6% costs Rs. 140.50. Nothing in the whole read sits between 20% and 30%.
Duffle bags are sold almost entirely on the percentage beside the price, so it is worth checking what that percentage is computed from. We parsed 62 Myntra listings on 5 October 2026 and seated 22. One brand accounts for 12 of them and states Rs. 1,600 two ways at once: six listings sell at Rs. 419 marked down from Rs. 1,600, badged 74%, while two more sell at Rs. 1,600 against a stated Rs. 1,600, badged 0%. Nine listings in the read sell at exactly Rs. 419 under nine different names, split across stated MRPs of Rs. 2,999 and Rs. 1,600. Three of those nine share a single 436-rating pool and the other six publish no rating at all. The cheapest bag here, at Rs. 245, has the largest rating pool in the read.
Cookware is sold on its discount badge, so it is worth checking what the badge is attached to. We parsed 187 Flipkart listings on 5 October 2026 and seated 24. The two names an Indian kitchen actually knows, Hawkins and Prestige, account for 28 listings and carry a median badge of 12% - Hawkins 10%, Prestige 20%. The 66 listings carrying fewer than 100 ratings carry a median badge of 63%, topping out at 89%. One unknown-brand dosa tawa sells at Rs. 357 while stating a Rs. 2,699 list price - 2.57 times the Rs. 1,050 Hawkins states for its own tawa, which sells at Rs. 985. Twenty-one listings under 11 brand names state an identical Rs. 999 and sell between Rs. 180 and Rs. 606. The most-rated tawa in the read, with 63,028 ratings, costs Rs. 379.
Every insulated flask on Amazon prints its capacity in the title, which makes this an easy shelf to price properly. We read 30 listings on 5 October 2026 and seated 16. Divided by stated capacity the shelf runs from Rs. 53.90 to Rs. 206.43 per 100 ml - a 3.83-fold spread - and the dearest flask by volume has the fourth lowest sticker price on the page. Five listings state 1 litre and sell at Rs. 539, Rs. 819, Rs. 869, Rs. 975 and Rs. 997. The most-rated flask here, with 152,820 ratings, sits at Rs. 131.80 per 100 ml, dearer by volume than every 1-litre listing on the page. One Rs. 429 flask states a Rs. 14,300 MRP - a 33.33x multiple, where the next highest stated MRP is Rs. 2,455.
A knife set is sold on a piece count and a percentage, and on this shelf neither number says what it looks like it says. We read 30 Amazon listings on 5 October 2026 and seated 23. On fourteen of the thirty, the figure printed where an MRP belongs is the selling price divided by the piece count: Rs. 139 / 4 pieces = Rs. 34.75 against a printed Rs. 34; Rs. 2,520 / 7 = Rs. 360 against a printed Rs. 360. Because that figure falls below the price, Amazon shows no badge at all on those fourteen - including on its own amazon basics listing. Of the nine listings stating a genuine list price, an unbranded set is badged 90% while Rena shows 7% and Victorinox 5%. Four Victorinox paring-knife listings sell at an identical Rs. 807 and share two rating pools between them. Per knife, the shelf runs Rs. 33 to Rs. 395.
On October 5, 2026, Flipkart ran a one-day Stop & Watch Sale as part of its Big Billion Days Early Bird deals, with a banner reading Deals are live only for today. The store page is a grid of brand tiles, each with a claim such as Titan Min. 40% Off or Fossil Up to 60% Off, linking to a filtered list. We opened those lists, picked the strongest in-stock watch for each brand and read the product page for the price, MRP, the lower price with offers, the rating and the rating count. Twenty-four made the list. The cheapest is a MAXIMA Attivo at Rs. 679. Our best overall, the Titan Octane, is Rs. 4,369, 54% off. The Fossil Flynn is Rs. 6,499 with 45,023 ratings, the Michael Kors Panorama is 60% off at Rs. 12,996, and the Moto Watch with dual-band GPS is Rs. 3,999. Many listings carried a Big Billion Days Price tag, but the store's own banner says these prices were for one day, so check the product page before you pay.
A replacement strap is bought on a percentage, and on this shelf the percentage is mostly a property of the seller. We read 62 Amazon listings on 5 October 2026 and seated 20 straps. At the marketplace end the stated MRP runs 5.00 to 7.53 times the selling price - a Rs. 199 silicone band claims Rs. 1,499, a Rs. 75 rubber keeper set claims Rs. 499. At the brand end Fullmosa claims 1.06 times on a Rs. 1,799 strap, a 5% badge, with 29,147 ratings behind it. Five groups of listings duplicate: three suede straps share a pool of 19 ratings, and three Lineon listings share a pool of 92 while selling at Rs. 699 and Rs. 899. Fullmosa's straps cost Rs. 1,709 and Rs. 1,799; a complete Casio watch on the same page cost Rs. 1,893.
Baby lotion is sold in six bottle sizes on one results page, which makes the price tag close to unreadable. We read 138 Flipkart listings on 5 October 2026, found 35 baby lotions and creams carrying a pack size in Flipkart's own size field, and seated 22. Per 100 ml the shelf runs Rs. 45.25 to Rs. 586 - a 12.9-fold spread. Sebamed's 50 ml bottle at Rs. 293 is the dearest millilitre here and costs 22% more per ml than Sebamed's own 100 ml at Rs. 481; both display the same 37,931 ratings. The Softsens Baby Cream 'Pack of 2' works out dearer per 100 g than buying the single tub twice, while a Mother Sparsh three-size ladder does save 30% per ml. Two Himalaya bottles sit Rs. 8 apart in price and 1.71x apart per millilitre.
Board games are hard to price-compare because the name on the box is often the only thing two listings share. We parsed 61 Flipkart listings on 5 October 2026 and seated 22. Four listings carry the name 'Splendor' and sell at Rs. 349, Rs. 377, Rs. 880 and Rs. 2,559 - a 7.33-fold spread - under four different seller names, and the shelf gives no comparable statement of edition or components for any of them. Two more share the phrase 'Ultimate Banking' at Rs. 1,465 and Rs. 1,516, badged 63% and 49%. One generic wooden memory chess game is sold by four sellers at Rs. 162, Rs. 162, Rs. 180 and Rs. 227, badged 74% to 84%. The largest rating pool in the read, 13,824, sits on a Rs. 305 listing.
Hostinger sells Minecraft hosting as four Game Panel plans, and each card carries four numbers that mean four different things. We read them first-party on 5 October 2026. Entry is Rs. 649 a month - which is Rs. 15,576 charged at once, because "All plans are paid upfront" - and that card also states it "Renews at Rs. 999/mo". The advertised "61% off" is measured against a struck-through Rs. 1,649 that is charged neither now nor at renewal; against the renewal rate the introductory saving is 35%. Across the four plans the step-up at renewal runs 41% to 100%, and it is steepest on Game Panel 4, the plan carrying the deepest badge. Game Panel 2's renewal rate is exactly Game Panel 4's intro rate.
