Yamaha Facino 125 is the lightest scooter compared to its rivals like Suzuki Access 125 and Honda Activa 125.

How subtle looking is the 2020 Yamaha Fascino 125 FI BS6?

The Fascino 125 Fi has evolved in terms of design at a rapid pace. It is wider, bigger and efficient than its sibling while retaining similar design philosophy. The front fascia gets chrome inserts that bring more charm to the scooter. The side profile beautifully displays curvy layout sweeping through the tail lamps. While the integrated taillights are clean.

You’ll barely witness any panel gaps throughout Fascino’s body. The panels are put together in a precise manner. Meanwhile, the analog dials look classic just like the sibling scooter. It would be great to see a digital instrument console with the handlebar. There’s 21-litre of wide boot space under the seat.

What are the various safety and class-leading features?

Talking about Fascino’s safety, the scooter comes with metal fenders and tight body panels. The company has also added a side stand engine cut off system similar to what we have seen on the Honda Activa 125. The unified braking system takes care of the front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. Also, the ample foot space allows you to control with ease.

How does the competition stack up against Yamaha Fascino 125 FI?

Yamaha Fascino 125 FI VS Honda Activa 125

The Activa 125 is also offered with BS6 compliant engine. It comes with a lot better features than the Yamaha Fascino 125. The Activa 125 comes with an all-metal body, making it a safer ride than the Fascino. Also, the pricing of the Activa 125 is slightly higher than the Fascino BS6. With the present offering, we would prefer the Activa 125 over the Fascino 125 FI BS6.

Yamaha Fascino 125 FI VS Suzuki Access 125

The Suzuki Access a clean scooter with no extra gimmicks. The Access 125 still comes with a BS4 compliant engine. The power delivery is somewhere lesser than what Fascino FI offers. The handling part on Suzuki Access 125 needs to be addressed by the company while Fascino 125 has no issues with the ride quality even traveling at a higher speed. We would go with the new Yamaha Fascino 125.

Does the Yamaha Fascino 125 FI stand a chance against the segment leaders?

The new Yamaha Fascino 125 FI is a new chapter in the scooter segment from the Japanese major. We already witnessed the smaller Fascino sibling that also offered ample features but this time the new Fascino is quite an exciting introduction. With the BS6 upgrade, the Fascino 125 FI is prepared to tackle competitions like Suzuki Access 125, and Honda Activa 125. The only thing to see in this competition is that which Japanese automaker out of these three looks promising. With such effective pricing, we believe that the new Yamaha Fascino 125 would bring some confidence in scooter buyers in India.
