Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) is a national level computer based test to facilitate admission into various management programmes of AICTE approved colleges. CMAT 2020 was conducted on January 28, 2020 and NTA declared CMAT Results on February 4, 2020. Candidates can check their Scorecard using their login Id and Password.
Updates: NTA released CMAT 2020 Question Paper along with Response Sheet and Answer Key on January 30. Candidates had the window to raise objections by paying a challenge fee of INR 1000 by February 2.

The result card contains candidates personal information and contact details along with;
CMAT 2020 scores are calculated based on the marking scheme predetermined by the conducting body. Each correct answer will carry +4 marks while every incorrect answer carries -1 mark. In case two or more candidate achieve the same score, rank is calculated on the considering marks obtained in following sequence:

In the year 2018, three candidates scored 100 percentile, Nimish Kulkarni, Jhalak Singhal and Maitri Chawra. Though their overall scores were different. In cases where two or more candidates bag the same rank, it is displayed as it is just arranged in alphabetical order.

In order to get into the top colleges, students are expected to score at least a cut off of 99.5 or higher (291). For the top 20 colleges, students are expected to get 99 or higher percentile for enrolling into PGDM or MMS courses. There is a difference in the selection process of both the courses. Candidates applying for PGDM courses will have to undergo GD/PI/WAT after getting shortlisted, while candidates applying for MMS courses, can directly get into the college if they get the required percentile. Furthermore, the top management institutes such as JBIMS, SIMSREE etc, students are expected to score 300+ in the exam.

The registration process for CMAT 2020 generally begins in the first week of November and is available for a month duration. Six simple steps are to be followed to complete the CMAT 2020 application Process. Applicants should keep in mind to have a valid and functioning E-mail Id and Phone Number before beginning the CMAT 2020 registration process.
Visit the official NTA CMAT website ntacmat.ac.in and create an account using valid email Id and Contact Number. Prefer using Internet Explorer version 11 or above or Mozilla Firefox version 50 to 61 or Google Chrome version 50 to 69while filling the CMAT 2020 Application form to avoid any inconvenience.
A new page will open where candidates have to enter their personal information like Date of Birth, Name etc. After which candidates will receive their 12 digit Registration number which should be noted for further use. Next step is to provide academic details and qualifications. Verify the details mentioned before final submission as the form will not reopen for editing.
A Recent, cloured, Clear, front looking passport size photograph needs to be uploaded with the CMAT 2020 Application Form. In addition to this Candidates need to upload their signature as well. NTA provides the facility to pay CMAT 2020 registration fee in both online and offline mode. Candidates can remit the fees through Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card/ UPI ID or by depositing Cash at any SBI branch. An e-challan is generated for the same, candidates can produce it in the nearest SBI branch and pay the fee in cash.

Candidates have the liberty to fill 4 Exam Centers as per their choice of preference from the list of Exam centers provided by NTA. After the application fee is paid, a confirmation page will appear. Exam Center details are mentioned clearly on Candidates CMAT Admit Card. NTA, the conducting body of the exam does not entertain any request regarding change of exam center. Once allotted , they are not subject to any change.
NTA released Admit Card for CMAT 2020 on December 24 on the official website cmat.nta.nic.in, candidates can download the same by logging into their portal till the day of the exam. Needless to mention that a printed copy of the CMAT 2020 admit card is to be produced at the exam hall. In case candidates are having errors in downloading the admit card due to password issues, they can use the option “Forgot Password”.
