BITSAT 2020 Application Process has extended till 26th April due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The official notification for BITSAT 2020 has been released on January 11, 2020, at bitsadmission.com. BITSAT is the much-coveted computer-based online entrance test for admissions into the integrated first-degree programs offered by Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences (BITS) at its campuses in Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad.
The institute conducts the test annually, at the national level, for applicants who have successfully completed their 12th board examination. Students can seek admission into BE, B. Pharma and Integrated M. Sc. programs at BITS, Pilani through BITSAT 2020.

The BITSAT 2020 Application Process is online and the form can be accessed at the official portal. The form will be made available soon after the official notification for the test is released by BITS, Pilani.
The candidates will have to register at the application portal using a valid email ID and active mobile number. The entire registration and application process for BITSAT 2020 involves the following steps:
Visit the BITSAT 2020 official portal. The unique application number and the password will be required for all future accesses.
Enter the personal details such as name, gender, date of birth, etc. Enter the captcha and hit on the "Submit" button.

It is advisable to get a print out of the completed application form for future reference.
The application fee can be paid in the online mode using either Debit/ Credit Cards, Net Banking or Payment Wallet. Applicants may also choose to pay their fees offline by downloading the e-challan from the website and making the payment at their nearest ICICI Bank branch.
BITS, Pilani reserves the right to cancel any test center if the situation demands so. Under the circumstances, such candidates who were allotted the canceled center will be accommodated in alternate test centers including the Pilani/Goa/Hyderabad campuses of BITS.le of the previous year, the application fee for BITSAT 2020 is expected to be thus:

Please note that in case applicants feel the need to correct certain details in the BITSAT application form after submitting the same, they will be allowed to do so, online, during a short correction window, as specified by BITS, Pilani.
Note - International students do not have a different application procedure. Applicants having citizenship other than India can easily apply via the international scheme.
The BITSAT 2020 Form correction that was scheduled for 17th and 18th April 2020 is postponed to a later date amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Candidates can make this correction online. Following steps should be followed:
1. Navigate the official link and open it.
2. Enter your application number, date of birth and other following details.
3. Proceed and make the necessary changes.
4. Click Submit.
5. Save the details and get a printout of the corrected application form.
Eligibility for Programmes except for B.Pharma: For admission into the BE and Integrated M.Sc. programs, applicants need to have completed class 12 examination from a recognized board having studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and must possess an adequate level of English proficiency.
The minimum aggregate score requirement of 75% with at least 60% in individual subjects must also be met.
Eligibility for B.Pharma program: The admission into the B. Pharm program, applicants should have completed their class 12 examination from a recognized board, having studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
The students also need to display an adequate level of proficiency in English. The minimum aggregate score requirement for B. Pharm is 75% with at least 60% in individual subjects. Candidates who have studied PCM in their 12th standard may also apply for the Pharmacy program.
Qualifying Exam Year: Please note that only students who are appearing for their 12th Board Examination in the current year or who have passed the same in 2019 are only eligible to appear in the BITSAT 2020.
For candidates who have taken multiple attempts to qualify class 12th, only the latest performance will be considered, provided the same has been for all the subjects.
Admissions at BITS, Pilani will be made purely on merit on the basis of scores obtained in BITSAT 2020 and class 12th examination scores. As such, there is no provision for reservation under BITSAT. However, the institute, in the past has welcomed Board Toppers of both central and state boards with direct admission opportunity. Further information in this context will be available on the official website around mid-May 2020.
Applicants will have to download their Admit Card or Hall Ticket from the BITSAT portal. The Hall Tickets will be available for download around July 22, 2020 tentatively. The Hall Ticket will list all instructions related to the test. Candidates should bear in mind that they will not be allowed to enter the test center if they are not carrying the BITSAT Hall Ticket in person.
BITSAT 2020 Application Process Exam Centers
With the rising number of applicants for BITSAT, the test is conducted across India in about 50 cities, including the three campus locations in Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad. In addition to the Indian cities, the exam can be also be taken at an international location, i.e. Dubai.
Applicants can specify three test centers in the BITSAT 2020 application form, in the order of preference. Please note that if a candidate chooses Dubai as a test center, then s/he will not be able to opt for any other test centers.

An indicative list of test centers will be published in with the BITSAT 2020 official brochure. However, the final list of test centers, as well as their operating days, will essentially depend on the number of applicants and their preferences. This final list will be released only after all applications are received and reviewed and applicants can book their test slots on the basis of the final list and respective center allotment.
