Amazon Live is the live shopping section of Amazon.in, where creators stream from their own cameras, show products one by one and pin a shelf of deals under the video. It launched in India in September 2022 and has grown quietly since: Amazon says customers watched 43 million minutes of creator-led content in a single 30-day window in 2025. We opened amazon.in/live on October 10, 2026, two days into the Great Indian Festival, and found four creators live at four in the afternoon, from a Diwali decor stream with torans at Rs. 136 and brass diyas at Rs. 433 to a smartphone stream listing the Galaxy S25 Ultra at Rs. 94,999. This guide explains where Amazon Live lives on the site and app, what the Discover, Following and Browse tabs do, how the stream shelf prices relate to the festival deal prices, how to follow a creator and chat, how the creators get paid, and when a livestream is worth your time versus a plain deal page.
Half this shelf is sold in packs and half one at a time, so the only honest way to read it is to divide. AJIO's door mat, cushion cover and sofa cover results on 10 October 2026: 118 rows, Rs. 189 to Rs. 4,799. Eighteen state a pack count, and per piece they run Rs. 102.60 to Rs. 540.00, median Rs. 153.00. An AAZEEM five-pack works out at Rs. 102.60 a mat, while the cheapest tile on the whole shelf, a Rs. 189 single mat, is dearer per piece than seven multipacks. Two more findings: 21 of the 38 'cushion cover' results are not cushion covers by their own titles, and AJIO published no rating on any of the 118 rows — so the badge is the only other number you get.
AJIO's All Star Sale is live, dated 7 to 18 October at a stated 50% to 90% off. We read its table runner shelf on 9 October: 40 listings priced Rs. 298 to Rs. 1,319, median Rs. 463, badged 10% to 85%. Alina Decor appears seven times — every listing at Rs. 300, every stated MRP Rs. 999, every badge exactly 70%. Seven designs, one price dressed as a discount. Meanwhile the 10 Home Centre and Fabindia runners badge a median 35% while costing a median Rs. 630 against Rs. 447 for everyone else — so here the shallow badges are on the dearer goods. Rs. 999 is the stated MRP on 12 of the 40, and AJIO publishes no rating on any of them.
Nobody reads a marketplace's terms of use, so we read Tata CLiQ's first-party on 9 October 2026. The sharpest line is a deadline: "Missing products claims will not be accepted after 3 days from delivery date" — and that window covers a missing product, a missing accessory, a missing freebie and a partly delivered order. Also inside: a PAN card is required above Rs. 2,00,000 or the purchase is "automatically cancelled", couriers make "a maximum of three [3] attempts", the platform is "only a facilitating link ... will not be liable in any manner", and Mumbai courts have exclusive jurisdiction. Credit where due: a first-party dark-patterns declaration. Published terms only; nothing here is legal advice.
We read Myntra's home fragrance, diffuser and aroma oil pages on 9 October 2026: 105 unique listings, Rs. 189 to Rs. 5,289, median Rs. 480. Two numbers run the shelf. Thirty-six listings carry no discount at all — every Iris, Nyassa, Fabindia, essancia and Isak tile in the read sits at its own stated list price, in the middle of sale season. And only 28 of the 105 publish a rating of any kind, with a median of eleven raters and a ceiling of 85. Cross the two and the shelf splits: of the 30 listings badged 55% or deeper, exactly two have been rated by anybody. The deep badges and the customer evidence are in different halves of the aisle.
Sleepyhead's Festie Bestie Sale was live on mysleepyhead.com on October 8, 2026, with a banner offering 10% off on HDFC cards. Sleepyhead's offer terms put that at up to Rs. 1,500 on HDFC credit and debit card EMI, minimum Rs. 8,000, alongside ICICI and SBI EMI offers. No end date has been published. We read live prices for named sizes and buyer ratings on each product page that day and kept 16 picks: six Queen mattresses from Rs. 10,569, five sofas and recliners, two beds and three bedding picks under Rs. 2,000. Best overall mattress: Original 3-layer at Rs. 12,219. Best for couples: Boing pocket spring at Rs. 12,349, rated 4.73. Cheapest seat: Napster sofa cum bed at Rs. 9,999. Biggest discount: the Purr-fect Couch, 54% off.
Myntra published 15 Navratri decoration ideas for 2026 on October 6, with a shop link for each: garlands, torans, urlis, lanterns, rangoli kits, wall plates, cushion covers, trays, string lights and backdrops. We opened every one of those category pages on October 7, sorted by popularity, kept listings with at least 33 reviews and a 4.0 rating, and checked each on its product page. The result is 22 pieces, all under Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 7,934 for the lot: Bajaj 10-metre LED lights at Rs. 150, a beaded bandhanwar at Rs. 549, a 30 cm urli at Rs. 209, a brass-and-glass akhand diya at Rs. 299 for all nine nights, and five cotton cushion covers at Rs. 314. Navratri begins on October 11, so check the delivery date for your pincode before you order.
Myntra's table-cover results advertise discounts from 19% to 85%, which reads like a shelf of very different products. We read 64 listings on 7 October 2026 and seated the 24 dining-table covers that span the range. They sell between Rs. 375 and Rs. 949 — a 2.53-fold band — while their stated MRPs run Rs. 599 to Rs. 2,999, a 5.01-fold spread. The badge is the gap between the two. RRC alone sells five covers inside thirty rupees of each other, badged 85%, 76%, 76%, 76% and 84%, and three of those five publish the identical rating pool. The shallowest badge on the shelf, 19%, sits on a cover costing 94% more than the cheapest one.
We read 40 Amazon artificial-plant listings on 6 October 2026 and seated 24, opening five product pages to get the full titles the search tile cuts off. Three ASINs carry the identical title - "Dekorly Artificial Lavender Plant in White Pot, 18cm ... (Set of 1)" - and the identical 604-rating pool, at Rs. 259, Rs. 279 and Rs. 279. The two that cost Rs. 20 more are labelled Bougainvillea and Small Chrysanthemum, and their photographs are not lavender. Two more share a title and 13,828 ratings: the Rs. 299 one states "(Set 0F 8)", the Rs. 369 one states no count at all. Fourteen listings share a stated MRP of Rs. 999 while selling at Rs. 252 to Rs. 629, and one states an MRP 14.82 times its price.
We read 40 Amazon cutlery listings on 6 October 2026 and seated 25. On 29 of the 40, the figure printed under the price is not a struck-through MRP at all - it is Amazon's own per-count rate. Divide the price by it and you get the pack size: 168/28 = 6, 180/15 = 12, 545/22 = 24. Those listings advertise no discount whatsoever. And on the largest set in the read, a 60-piece at Rs. 2,249, the printed rate of Rs. 187.42 per count is dividing by the twelve place settings in its title, not the sixty pieces - the real per-piece price is Rs. 37.48, five times less. Per piece the shelf runs Rs. 15.00 to Rs. 224.54, median Rs. 37.48. Two own-brand listings sit at an identical Rs. 549 with one stated piece between them.
Bath mats are a shelf where there is very little to compare, so what AJIO does and does not publish matters. We read 34 listings on 5 October 2026 and seated 20. AJIO publishes no star average and no rating count on a single one of them, which leaves the discount badge as the only comparative figure the shelf offers. That badge does not survive examination: one house label supplies 14 of the 34 listings and its badges run 6%, 30%, 37%, 48%, 59%, 63%, 63%, 63%, 66%, 66%, 66%, 66%, 67% and 67%. Counted per mat, the deepest badge in the read, 81%, costs Rs. 190 a mat, while a listing badged 6% costs Rs. 140.50. Nothing in the whole read sits between 20% and 30%.
Amazon has confirmed the Great Indian Festival 2026 starts on 8 October, and its early-deals page is already live, with SBI debit and credit cards named for a 10% instant discount. Every early-deal shelf is capped at around Rs. 1,000, so we swept Electronics, Home & Kitchen and Fashion & Beauty on 26 September and kept only branded products with real ratings behind them. Twenty-two picks made it, from the boAt Rockerz 255 Pro+ at Rs. 999 (over two lakh ratings) and Logitech's silent M240 mouse to Puma slides at Rs. 799, an 18-jar Solimo pantry set at Rs. 459 and Rs. 79 Halonix Diwali lights. Every price, MRP, rating and review count was read from the product page the same day.
We read 363 Diwali listings on Flipkart on 4 October 2026 and the review counts gave the shelf away. Four Refulgix string lights display an identical 2,850 ratings at 3.9 - and sell at Rs. 56, Rs. 256, Rs. 260 and Rs. 636, an 11.4x spread for stated specs that differ only by colour. Three PESCA listings share 39,625 ratings and carry badges of 87%, 69% and 45% at the same time. Two MPROW listings share 34,675 ratings 2.54x apart on price, both badged 78%, because one states a Rs. 1,199 list price and the other Rs. 2,999. One Rs. 90 glass diya fills nine slots in a single search under nine keyword-tailed titles, none of them rated. Twenty-four listings seated, Rs. 56 to Rs. 696, with the stated MRP multiple printed on every card.
Storage baskets are sold in sets, which makes the shelf easy to compare and easy to misread. We parsed 114 Myntra listings on 4 October 2026 and seated 24. One brand sells the same basket set in two, three, four, five and six pieces, and each extra basket adds about Rs. 150 at checkout while adding Rs. 700 to the stated MRP. That gap is what keeps all ten listings badged at a flat 77-78% whatever size you choose. Per basket the entire ladder spans Rs. 158.17 to Rs. 183.50, so buying six instead of two saves under 14%. Two listings of the 2-piece set sit Rs. 18 apart and share one rating pool, and eight of the ten set listings publish no rating at all.
Wall decor is a category where the advertised discount does most of the talking, so it is worth checking what the prices actually do. We parsed 90 Myntra listings on 4 October 2026 and seated 24. Nothing on the whole shelf sells above Rs. 1,122, while stated MRPs run as high as Rs. 6,999. Sixteen listings under nine different brand names state an identical Rs. 999 list price and sell between Rs. 241 and Rs. 581; six more share one stated Rs. 5,995. The deepest badge in the read, 90%, sits on a listing with seven ratings, while the most expensive item on the shelf is badged 58%. Two pairs of designs share a single rating pool, and eight of the 24 seated listings publish no rating at all.
