Croma August 2026: The Deepest Discounts Sit on the Biggest MRPs

Croma August 2026 collage - the DREAME D10 Plus Gen 2 robotic vacuum cleaner, the IFB Neptune SX16 free standing dishwasher, the elica FL 600 SLIM ducted auto clean chimney and the dyson TP07 smart air purifier
Zoutons Picks — Croma Appliance Check, August 2026

Both numbers came out of the same feed on the same afternoon. Twenty-four picks from Rs. 2,999 to Rs. 75,190, ranked on litres, place settings and airflow instead of percentages.

Prices & codes last verified August 3, 2026

The short of it Croma's own API, 119 appliance listings read on August 3. One brand's cheaper machine claims a list price Rs. 1,00,001 higher than its dearer one. The smallest badge in the read is 4%, on a dishwasher. The chimney to buy is the cheapest one at 1200m3/hr. A 20% geyser costs less than a 41% one.

We pulled Croma's own product API on August 3, 2026 across six categories - water purifiers, air purifiers, water heaters and geysers, kitchen chimneys, vacuum cleaners and dishwashers - and got 119 listings, every one with a price, a stated MRP and an image. Then we sorted the whole set by discount percentage and looked at what was at the top, and the answer had no mixing in it at all. Every one of the nine badges at 60 per cent or above is a vacuum cleaner. All nine come from three brands - DREAME, ILIFE and Ecovacs - and nothing from any other category or any other brand appears above 53 per cent. Four listings in the entire read claim a stated MRP of Rs. 1,00,000 or more, and all four are robot or cordless vacuums selling between Rs. 24,999 and Rs. 49,999, while the two genuinely most expensive machines in the feed, an Rs. 86,990 LG air purifier and an Rs. 75,190 Electrolux dishwasher, both claim list prices under a lakh. The proof that these numbers are not prices comes from inside a single brand: DREAME's D20 Ultra sells at Rs. 46,999 with a stated MRP of Rs. 79,998, and DREAME's D10 Plus Gen 2 sells at Rs. 24,999 - twenty-two thousand rupees less - with a stated MRP of Rs. 1,79,999, a hundred thousand and one rupees higher. Both cannot be true. Meanwhile the dishwasher aisle, 21 machines from Bosch, IFB, Electrolux, LG, Elica and Kutchina, runs from four per cent off to thirty-five, with twelve of the 21 under twenty, and every IFB in it between four and seven. So this page is ranked on litres, place settings, cubic metres per hour and star labels, and the percentage is treated as what it is - a fact about the brand rather than about the machine. We looked at how a rival chain's house brand writes its own MRPs last week, and at the Croma shelves where nothing is discounted at all before that. Croma publishes a review count on none of these 119 listings, so nothing here carries a rating pill, and we have not installed or run any of these machines.

Every price below was pulled from Croma on August 3, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Croma coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

24 Croma Appliance Picks, Ranked on Specification Rather Than Badge

Five rules for buying an appliance off a Croma category page

First: never compare two brands on percentage. In this feed the nine deepest badges all belong to three vacuum brands and the shallowest all belong to IFB, Electrolux, Philips and A. O. Smith, and that tells you about MRP-writing habits, not about machines. Second: check whether the MRP is doing any work at all - a stated Rs. 1,79,999 on a Rs. 24,999 robot vacuum and a stated Rs. 65,490 on a Rs. 62,990 dishwasher are two different kinds of number, and only the second one behaves like a list price. Third: rank on the specification the title states. Litres for a geyser, place settings for a dishwasher, cubic metres per hour and width for a chimney, tank size and which purification stages are named for a water purifier. On this page that method put a 20 per cent geyser below a 41 per cent one on price, and found two chimneys with identical stated airflow priced Rs. 1,541 apart. Fourth: read what the title leaves out. None of the fourteen air purifiers here states a CADR figure or a rated room area, which are the two numbers that decide whether the machine suits your room, and no listing in the read mentions filter or RO membrane replacement cost - on a purifier that recurring cost can outweigh the purchase-price difference entirely. Fifth: add the installation before you compare. Built-in dishwashers need cabinetry and a fitter, ducted chimneys need duct pipe and an outside wall, geysers need a plumber and an electrician, and none of that is in any price on this page. Our read on pricing a kitchen appliance by its specification works through the same method on another chain, and what a fixed budget actually buys in electronics approaches it from the other direction.

What we skipped — and why

What we skipped, and why: of the 119 listings we read we seated 24 and left out 95. The biggest single block is the rest of the chimney aisle, where seventeen more listings sit between 34 and 53 per cent off - eight further Elica units from Rs. 12,890 to Rs. 25,749, four more Faber including the Rs. 29,590 Sigma and the Rs. 29,090 Aether, two more Croma house-brand units at Rs. 10,999 and Rs. 11,999, and the second Bosch Series 4 at Rs. 19,190 - all of which repeat the width-and-airflow comparison the four we did seat already make. We left out sixteen more geysers, including the whole A. O. Smith Finesse and Xpress range from Rs. 10,100 to Rs. 14,250, four Racold units, both Symphony SPA models at Rs. 13,990 and Rs. 15,490, three Havells including the Rs. 18,490 Magnatron Prime, and both Crompton Solarium Care units - none of which breaks the 20-to-42 per cent band we describe. Among water purifiers we skipped seventeen, including the Rs. 29,999 Aquaguard Aspire Designo, the Rs. 22,190 KENT Grand Star, all three Native by UC models from Rs. 13,499 to Rs. 19,499, the Rs. 17,489 Livpure Allura Premia and the Rs. 16,999 A. O. Smith Intelli Pro hot and cold unit. Among dishwashers we skipped sixteen, including four more Bosch Series 6 from Rs. 46,894 to Rs. 72,400, three LG machines from Rs. 52,990 to Rs. 72,990, both Elica built-ins at Rs. 59,290 and Rs. 67,590, the Rs. 65,890 Electrolux UltimateCare 500 and the Rs. 61,990 UltimateCare 700 free-standing, and the two other Kutchina units at Rs. 49,190 and Rs. 51,790. Among vacuums we left out sixteen, notably the three DREAME listings we describe but did not seat - the Rs. 33,999 H12 Dual at 83 per cent, the Rs. 13,999 Mova J30 at 80 and the Rs. 19,999 F10 at 33 - plus the ILIFE T20s Pro at Rs. 25,899, the A30 Pro at Rs. 19,900 and the V20 at Rs. 15,105, both Eureka Forbes Smartclean robots, the Rs. 36,999 Ecovacs N30, the Rs. 15,894 Roidmi cordless, the Rs. 2,023 Agaro dry vacuum which is the cheapest listing in the whole pull, and three Croma dry vacuums. Among air purifiers we skipped eleven, including five further Honeywell Air Touch units from Rs. 9,149 to Rs. 24,999, the Rs. 86,990 LG PuriCare which is the dearest listing in the read, two more Philips at Rs. 18,899 and Rs. 24,999, the Rs. 12,999 Xiaomi 4 Lite, the Rs. 6,899 Eureka Forbes AP 150 and the Rs. 5,850 Origin mini dehumidifier, which is a dehumidifier rather than an air purifier and does not belong in the comparison. No bundles or multipacks appeared in this pull, so nothing was excluded on that basis, and we seated no product twice.

What we look for

We sorted all 119 listings by discount and looked at who was at the top

Croma's own product API returned 119 listings on August 3, 2026 across six queries - water purifiers, air purifiers, water heaters and geysers, kitchen chimneys, vacuum cleaners and dishwashers - with 21 listings in each of the first five categories and 14 in the last. Sorted by discount percentage, the top of that list does not mix. Every one of the nine badges at 60 per cent or above is a vacuum cleaner, and all nine belong to three brands: DREAME with four, ILIFE with four and Ecovacs with one. Nothing from any other category and no other brand appears above 53 per cent. At the other end, of the 27 listings at 20 per cent or below, 13 are dishwashers and 6 are air purifiers. That is not a distribution of value across an aisle; it is a distribution of MRP-writing habits across a set of brands. We have built the page around that finding and named the brands rather than gesturing at them.

We checked the stated MRPs against each other, including within a single brand

Four of the 119 listings claim a stated MRP of Rs. 1,00,000 or more. All four are robot or cordless vacuum cleaners and all four sell between Rs. 24,999 and Rs. 49,999. Meanwhile the two most expensive machines in the whole read, an LG air purifier at Rs. 86,990 and an Electrolux built-in dishwasher at Rs. 75,190, claim stated MRPs of Rs. 99,900 and Rs. 80,090 - both under six figures. The clearest test is inside one brand. DREAME's dearest listing here, the D20 Ultra, sells at Rs. 46,999 and claims a stated MRP of Rs. 79,998. DREAME's D10 Plus Gen 2 sells at Rs. 24,999 - Rs. 22,000 less - and claims Rs. 1,79,999, a hundred thousand and one rupees higher. Two ILIFE machines that sell Rs. 3,000 apart share one identical Rs. 69,999 stated MRP. We are describing the arithmetic in Croma's feed and alleging nothing about how either company sets its numbers; we cannot see that. What follows from it is only this: on this shelf, the selling price is information and the stated MRP is not.

We ranked within each category on the specification the title actually states

Because the badge is unreliable, every ranking on this page is done on something else. In the chimney chapter that is width, stated airflow in cubic metres per hour and control type, which let us show that an Elica and a Faber stating identical 60cm and 1200m3/hr figures are priced Rs. 1,541 apart, and that the highest airflow figure in the chapter carries the smallest badge. In the geyser chapter it is tank capacity in litres and the BEE star label, which showed that a 6 litre unit at 20 per cent off costs Rs. 949 less than a 15 litre unit at 41 per cent off. In the dishwasher chapter it is place settings and whether the machine is free-standing or built-in, since a built-in unit needs cabinetry and a fitter that the price does not include. In the purifier chapter it is tank size and which purification stages the title names - and the cheapest listing in that aisle turned out to be a UV machine with no RO stage, which is a different category of appliance rather than a bargain. Where a title omits the figure that matters, such as CADR and rated room area on all fourteen air purifiers, we have said so rather than estimating it.

No rating pills, no testing, and no claim we have run any of these machines

Croma shows a star rating on 53 of the 119 listings we read and a review count on none of them - not one listing in the entire pull carries a number of reviews. A 4.8 from one buyer and a 4.8 from eight hundred are different pieces of evidence and this feed does not tell them apart, so no pick on this page carries a rating pill and we have not imported a score from any other retailer to fill the gap. We have not installed, plumbed, wired, run or tested any appliance here. Every statement about airflow, litres, place settings, purification stages, filtration stages, star ratings, navigation, coatings and heating elements is quoted from Croma's own listing title or description and is not verified by us, including brand-coined names such as Pathfinder, ZeroTangle, Titanium Plus, NanoProtect, Air Multiplier, GlassCare and Advance Recovery, which we are repeating as the brands' own product language rather than endorsing. Installation, duct pipework, cabinetry, plumbing, electrical work and replacement filters and RO membranes are recurring or additional costs that appear nowhere in this feed, and on several of these categories they will change which machine is cheapest to own. Check them with the brand before you order.

FAQs

Are Croma's discount percentages real, or is the MRP inflated?

It depends entirely on which shelf you are standing in front of, and the feed lets you tell them apart. On August 3, 2026 we read 119 appliance listings on Croma's own API. Four of them claim a stated MRP of Rs. 1,00,000 or more and all four are robot or cordless vacuum cleaners selling between Rs. 24,999 and Rs. 49,999 - one claims Rs. 1,79,999 on a Rs. 24,999 machine, a gap of Rs. 1,55,000. The same brand's more expensive machine, at Rs. 46,999, claims a stated MRP of Rs. 79,998, which is Rs. 1,00,001 lower. Both figures cannot describe the same reality. Against that, every IFB dishwasher in the feed is between 4 and 7 per cent off, every Bosch listing is between 16 and 25, and every Philips air purifier is between 10 and 12 - list prices that sit a few thousand rupees above the selling price, which is how an MRP behaves when it is functioning as one. So the honest answer is that some MRPs here are doing their job and some are functioning as a reference point that makes a badge look larger. We are describing the arithmetic in Croma's feed and alleging nothing about how any company sets its numbers.

Why do robot vacuums have such huge discounts at Croma?

Because the discount is being calculated off a very large stated MRP, not because the machines have been marked down from a price anyone was charging. In our August 3, 2026 read of 119 Croma appliance listings, every one of the nine badges at 60 per cent or above was a vacuum cleaner, and all nine came from three brands - DREAME with four, ILIFE with four and Ecovacs with one. No other category and no other brand appeared above 53 per cent. All four listings in the whole pull claiming a six-figure stated MRP were robot or cordless vacuums, and they sold between Rs. 24,999 and Rs. 49,999. Two ILIFE machines that sell Rs. 3,000 apart share one identical Rs. 69,999 stated MRP. The practical consequence for a shopper is simple: do not compare a robot vacuum to a dishwasher, a chimney or a geyser on percentage, because they are not measuring the same thing. Compare robot vacuums to each other on price and on the specification the listing states, and treat the badge as a fact about the brand's pricing convention. We have not tested any of these machines.

Which Croma appliance is the best buy in this read?

On specification rather than badge, three stand out. In the chimney aisle the elica FL 600 SLIM at Rs. 11,849 is the cheapest listing that combines a stated 1200m3/hr airflow with 60cm width, ducted operation and auto clean - a Faber stating the identical width and airflow costs Rs. 1,541 more and a Bosch stating 1300m3/hr costs Rs. 5,441 more. In the dishwasher aisle the IFB Neptune VX at Rs. 46,690 is the cheapest 14 place setting machine of the nine in the feed, and its 7 per cent badge is nearly the smallest in the read, which is exactly why a discount sort would bury it. Among robot vacuums the ILIFE A20 Pro at Rs. 16,900 is the lowest entry price to the category here, and the argument for it is the Rs. 16,900, not the 76 per cent. Add installation, duct pipework or cabinetry to any of these before you compare, since none of it is in the price. We have not run or installed any of these machines and all specifications quoted are Croma's own.

Does Croma show how many reviews a product has?

Not in the data we read. Croma's product API showed a star rating on 53 of the 119 appliance listings in our August 3, 2026 pull, and a review count on none of them - not one listing in the whole set carried a number of reviews. That is why no pick on this page carries a rating pill. A 4.8 based on one purchase and a 4.8 based on eight hundred are entirely different pieces of evidence, and a rating with no count attached cannot distinguish them, so we have not used any of these numbers as support for a pick and we have not imported a score from another retailer to stand in for the missing one. It also means everything on this page is about price, stated MRP and the specifications Croma prints in its own titles, and nothing on it is about how these machines actually perform - we have not installed, plumbed, wired or run any of them, and noise, suction, wash quality, water hardness performance and long-term reliability are all things a price feed cannot establish.

What costs are missing from the prices on a Croma appliance listing?

Several, and on some of these categories they are large enough to change which machine is cheapest to own. None of the 119 listings we read states an installation charge. A ducted chimney needs duct pipework and a route to an outside wall plus a fitter; a built-in dishwasher needs a matched cabinet aperture and usually a carpenter as well as a plumber, and three of the machines we seated are built-in; a geyser needs plumbing and an electrical connection. Recurring costs are missing too. Water purifiers need replacement RO membranes and filter cartridges at intervals that depend on your water and usage, and air purifiers need replacement filters - neither cost appears anywhere in this feed, and a cheaper machine with dearer consumables can cost more over five years. Two more figures are absent rather than extra: none of the fourteen air purifier listings states a CADR value or a rated room area, which are the numbers that determine whether a purifier suits your room. We have not obtained any of these costs and are not estimating them; ask Croma and the manufacturer directly before you order.

More Croma coverage on Zoutons

How Zoutons picks deals Zoutons may earn a commission when you buy through links on this page. Every price, stated MRP and discount percentage here was read from Croma's own product API on August 3, 2026, and all of them can change without notice. That pull returned 119 listings across six queries - water purifiers, air purifiers, water heaters and geysers, kitchen chimneys, vacuum cleaners and dishwashers - with 21 listings in each of the first five and 14 in the last, and the 24 seated here are all single appliances rather than bundles, with the price shown being the listed price for that specific model and variant. Our central claim - that every badge at 60 per cent or above in this pull is a vacuum cleaner, that all four stated MRPs of Rs. 1,00,000 or more are vacuum cleaners, and that DREAME's Rs. 24,999 D10 Plus Gen 2 states an MRP Rs. 1,00,001 higher than its Rs. 46,999 D20 Ultra - is a sort of the numbers in that feed and nothing more. We cannot see how Croma or any of these brands sets a stated MRP, we are not alleging a breach of any rule, and we are drawing only the conclusion that on this shelf the selling price carries information and the stated MRP does not. Croma displayed a star rating on 53 of the 119 listings and a review count on none of them, so no pick on this page carries a rating pill and we have not substituted a score from any other retailer or marketplace. We have not installed, plumbed, wired, run, loaded or tested any appliance on this page. Every statement about airflow in cubic metres per hour, chimney width, litres, place settings, purification or filtration stages, BEE star ratings, navigation systems, tank coatings and heating elements is quoted from Croma's own listing title or description and has not been verified by us, and brand-coined names including Pathfinder, ZeroTangle, Titanium Plus, NanoProtect, Air Multiplier, GlassCare, Blue Diamond, SCMT and Advance Recovery are repeated as the manufacturers' own product language rather than endorsed. Where we describe general category convention - that reverse osmosis and ultraviolet treatment address different things, that an instant water heater holds far less than a storage one, that a built-in dishwasher needs cabinetry - we are stating commonly held understanding rather than a test result, and none of it is advice about your water supply, your wiring or your kitchen. Installation charges, duct pipework, cabinetry, plumbing, electrical work, replacement filters and RO membrane costs appear nowhere in this feed and are additional. Warranty terms, service coverage, energy consumption and return windows should be confirmed on Croma's own pages and with the manufacturer before you order.
