It is the deepest badge on any of the 119 listings we read, and we have opened with it because the arithmetic behind it is the entire subject of this page. The badge claims you are saving Rs. 1,55,000. Robot vacuums with self-emptying docks from the brands that sell most of them in India do not retail anywhere near a hundred and eighty thousand rupees, and this same brand's more expensive machine, three cards down, claims a list price of Rs. 79,998. Only four listings in this whole read claim an MRP of Rs. 1,00,000 or more, all four are robot or cordless vacuums, and all four sell between Rs. 24,999 and Rs. 49,999. On the machine itself, Croma's listing describes a robotic vacuum cleaner and mop with a self-emptying base and what DREAME calls Pathfinder navigation - that is the store's own wording and we have not run the machine, mapped a floor with it or emptied its dock. One more thing worth flagging plainly: Croma shows a rating of 1.0 on this listing and publishes no review count next to it, which means a single unhappy buyer and a thousand of them would look identical. We have not used it as evidence and there is no rating pill on this card.

This is the most expensive DREAME listing in the read and it carries the brand's second smallest badge, and putting it beside the first card on this page is the single most useful thing in this whole analysis. The D10 Plus Gen 2 sells for Rs. 24,999 and claims a list price of Rs. 1,79,999. This machine sells for Rs. 46,999 - twenty-two thousand rupees more - and claims a list price of Rs. 79,998, a hundred thousand and one rupees less. Both numbers cannot describe the same pricing reality. A list price is supposed to be the amount a manufacturer says the product is worth before a retailer discounts it, and if the dearer machine is worth Rs. 79,998 then the cheaper one is not worth Rs. 1,79,999. It is the cheapest robot vacuum on any of the 119 listings we read and it is the one we would actually point somebody at in this chapter, for the simple reason that Rs. 16,900 is a sum a household can lose without much damage if the machine turns out not to suit the floor plan. The badge is not why. If you sorted this aisle by discount you would learn nothing about which machine costs least. It is the most expensive machine on this page and the second smallest badge on it, and that combination is the pattern of the whole dishwasher aisle stated in one listing. Electrolux has three dishwashers in this feed at six, seven and thirty-one per cent off, so even within one brand the badge moves while the prices stay in a band; Bosch has eight listings across the read between sixteen and twenty-five per cent. Nothing in this aisle claims to be eighty per cent off anything. The other thing worth naming here is the word built-in. Croma describes this as a built-in dishwasher with GlassCare and states no pre-rinse required, and a built-in machine is not a purchase you can reverse easily - it goes into a cabinet run, needs a matched aperture, a plumbed inlet and a drain, and usually a carpenter as well as an installer. Read the specification rather than the price. Croma states 900m3/hr, which is the lowest airflow figure on any chimney in this read - the next lowest is 1200m3/hr and most of the chapter is at 1500 or 1600 - and push button control rather than touch, gesture or motion sensor. It is also not described as auto clean, which every other chimney we seated is. So the Rs. 7,350 gap between this and the Elica above is not a brand premium alone; it is a third more stated airflow plus an auto-clean function plus a touch panel. Whether 900m3/hr suits you depends on how much frying happens in your kitchen and how well it ventilates, which is a judgement about your home and not something we can make. We have seated it directly after the Elica because the two listings state almost the same thing and cost Rs. 1,541 apart, which is the sort of comparison a discount sort will never put in front of you. Both are 60cm. Both state 1200m3/hr. Both are ducted, both are auto clean, both are wall mounted, both are black. The Elica has a touch control panel and a fifty-three per cent badge; this has motion sensor control and a forty-eight per cent badge. Two things to weigh against the price. First, the water purifier aisle in this read spans 16 to 52 per cent across 21 listings, and the four listings above 40 per cent all come from Livpure, Aquaguard and Croma while the shallowest badges belong to KENT and A. O. Smith - the same brand-tier pattern as the vacuum shelf, in milder form. Second, and much more important than any badge: a purifier is not a one-time purchase. RO membranes and filter cartridges need periodic replacement, the interval depends on your water and your usage, and none of that recurring cost appears anywhere in this feed. A cheap machine with expensive consumables can cost more over five years than a dearer one, and we cannot compute that from a price API - you can only get it from the brand's service pricing. It is the cheapest water purifier on any of the 119 listings and the most important thing about it is not the price or the badge but a word missing from the title. Croma describes it as a UV water purifier with Mineral Guard technology. There is no RO in that description. Every other purifier we seated states RO in its title. UV and RO do different jobs - broadly, ultraviolet treatment addresses microbiological contamination while reverse osmosis is the stage that reduces dissolved solids - and which one a household needs depends on its water supply, which is a question for a water test rather than for a shopping page. We are stating the general distinction as commonly understood and not giving you a recommendation about your water. So the Rs. 11,851 gap between this and the Rs. 19,350 KENT two cards down is not a discount story at all; it is two different categories of machine sharing a shelf. If you compare purifiers by price alone you will conclude this is the bargain of the aisle, and for a household on a municipal supply with high TDS it may be the wrong machine at any price. Smith has eight across the read between sixteen and twenty-three per cent - the two brands with the shallowest badges in this aisle are also the two with the highest median prices in it. An instant water heater holds a very small volume and heats on demand, which suits a kitchen sink or a basin; a storage geyser holds and keeps hot a tankful, which is what a shower generally needs. It carries the deepest badge in the geyser aisle, and the reason we are still comfortable putting it forward is that the geyser aisle is the most consistent shelf in this entire read. Twenty-one geyser listings, and they run from twenty per cent to forty-two per cent - a spread of twenty-two points, against sixty-six points on the chimney and vacuum shelves. Nothing here claims eighty per cent off anything and no geyser in the feed claims a stated MRP above Rs. 31,790. That is a shelf where the badge is at least measuring something. So you are saving Rs. 949 and giving up nine litres of hot water, roughly sixty per cent of the capacity, and the machine with the smaller badge is the one that costs less. If you had shopped this shelf by discount you would have concluded the opposite of the truth about which is the cheaper purchase. Both state a 5 star BEE label. Croma describes this as a 6 litre vertical storage water geyser with a glass-coated Incoloy heating element - Incoloy is an alloy family used in heating elements and the glass coating is A. O. Thirty per cent off Rs. 56,900 is a claimed saving of Rs. 17,000 on a machine that sells for Rs. 39,900 - a list price about forty-three per cent above the selling price, which is an ordinary retail relationship and the sort of number you can reason about. The page opened with a claimed saving of Rs. 1,55,000 on a machine selling for Rs. 24,999, a list price seven times the selling price. Both listings sat in the same feed, on the same day, on the same website. The eighty-six per cent badge is not seven times better value than this thirty per cent one; it is a different brand's decision about what to write in a box.
