Dot & Key's shelf does not mark anything down. It prices in tiers — and the two-packs cost exactly twice the single.
We read 147 in-stock Dot & Key listings from the brand's own product data on July 30, 2026 — every sunscreen, serum, moisturiser, cleanser, toner, mask, lip balm, shower gel and shampoo it sells, plus 54 combo listings — and the first thing we did was compare each stated compare-at price with each selling price. One hundred and forty-six of the one hundred and forty-seven match to the rupee. Exactly one listing in the entire shelf is genuinely marked down: a Cica + 1% Salicylic Acid Exfoliating Shower Gel at Rs. 319 against a stated Rs. 399, twenty per cent off, and even that one carries the store's own "-FREE" tag in its title. That is the whole discount landscape, which is why there is not a single percentage badge anywhere on this page — printing one would have meant inventing it. What the shelf has instead is a tier structure, and once you see it you cannot unsee it: Rs. 395 carries ten listings, Rs. 495 carries nine, Rs. 595 carries eight, Rs. 249 carries eight, Rs. 599 carries seven, Rs. 399 carries five. Eight of the twelve sunscreens cost exactly Rs. 595 — cica, watermelon, mango detan, barrier repair, the stick and the body spray, all the same number — so choosing between them is a question about your skin and never about value. Five of the eight serums cost exactly Rs. 599. Seven of the twelve moisturisers cost exactly Rs. 495. Four of the five lip balms cost Rs. 249, and every one of them states SPF 50+ PA+++, which makes that Rs. 249 the best-value line item we found in the read. Then there is the pack arithmetic, which is the sharpest thing in our pull. Of nineteen pack-of-2 listings, fourteen are priced at exactly twice the single of the same product on the same shelf: Rs. 1,190 for two Rs. 595 sunscreens, Rs. 1,390 for two Rs. 695 serums, Rs. 750 for two Rs. 375 face washes, Rs. 1,198 for two Rs. 599 moisturisers, Rs. 498 for two Rs. 249 lip balms. Four of the remaining five are smaller-size bundles where the per-tube price is genuinely lower because the tube holds less, and one we could not match to a single at all, so we left it out of the count rather than guess. None of this is an allegation about how the brand prices — it is a description of the numbers the brand publishes. The discount does exist; it just lives at the cart. The store's own homepage states flat 15% off sitewide, flat 25% off combos and an extra 5% on prepaid orders as we read it, and on identical rupees the combo route is ten percentage points better than the sitewide one. Our Plum combo offers page and Mamaearth combo guide track the same buy-more maths in neighbouring aisles.
Every price below was pulled from Dot & Key on July 30, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Dot & Key coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.
Twelve sunscreens, eight of them at exactly Rs. 595. The cheapest is Rs. 445 because the tube is smaller; the dearest is Rs. 649 because the filter is mineral. Nothing is marked down.
Rs. 595, which is the price of eight different sunscreens on this shelf — including this one, the one to buy for oily skin.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 595 for the cica and niacinamide SPF 50+ — the shelf's default price, on its most useful formula.
Rs. 595 — identical to the pick above, from a shelf where eight sunscreens share this exact number.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 595 for the watermelon cooling gel sunscreen — the same price as the cica one, a different feel.
Rs. 649 — the highest sunscreen price on the shelf, and Rs. 54 above the eight-strong Rs. 595 tier.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 649 for the 100% mineral SPF 50+ — the only fully mineral filter in the range.
Rs. 445 for a 50 g tube — the lowest sunscreen price in the read, Rs. 150 under the Rs. 595 tier.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 445 for the dragon fruit bounce gel SPF 50+, the shelf's entry price on sun protection.
Rs. 495 — between the Rs. 445 entry and the Rs. 595 tier, and the only water-resistant claim in the range.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 495 for the swim and sports SPF 50+ — the one built to survive sweat and water.
Rs. 549 for a tinted SPF 50+ — one product doing the work of two, at Rs. 46 under the plain-sunscreen tier.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 549 for the strawberry dew tinted sunscreen — sun protection plus light coverage.
The flagship vitamin C serum at Rs. 695 is the dearest single product in all 147 listings. Below it, five serums share Rs. 599 and the cheapest is Rs. 550. Price has left the decision.
Rs. 695 — the highest single-product price in all 147 listings, and still no discount against it.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 695 for the 10% vitamin C + E serum with 5% niacinamide — the range's flagship.
Rs. 665 — Rs. 30 below the flagship, with hyaluronic acid and ceramides instead of acids.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 665 for the hyaluronic and ceramides hydrating serum — the gentlest serum here.
Rs. 599 — the price of five different serums here, of which this is the one for oily skin.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 599 for the cica + 10% niacinamide serum — oil control at the shelf's serum tier.
Rs. 550 — the lowest serum price in the read, Rs. 145 under the flagship.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 550 for the cica + 2% salicylic acid serum — the entry price on active treatment.
Rs. 599 — the serum tier again, this time buying 0.2% retinol rather than niacinamide.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 599 for the pomegranate 0.2% retinol complex serum — a real retinol at the tier price.
Rs. 495 — Rs. 104 below the serum tier, on the shelf's most crowded price point.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 495 for the pomegranate + retinol eye cream — the cheapest way into retinol here.
Rs. 395 is the modal price of the whole shelf — ten listings. Rs. 249 is the floor, and it buys either a cleanser or SPF 50+ lip protection. This is where the value sits.
Rs. 249 — one of eight listings at this exact price, and the cheapest full-size product on the shelf.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 249 for the deep pore clean foaming face wash — the shelf's floor price.
Rs. 249 for SPF 50+ PA+++ in a lip balm — the same price as a face wash, and four lip balms share it.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 249 for the barrier repair lip balm with SPF 50+ — sun protection where people never apply it.
Rs. 299 for a cooling underarm roll-on — the only body-format deodorant in the read.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 299 for the watermelon cooling underarm roll-on — humidity-season practicality.
Rs. 395 — ten listings share this exact figure, more than any other number in the read.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 395 for the cica + niacinamide toner with green tea — the modal price of the whole shelf.
Rs. 349 for a barrier-repair shower gel — Rs. 50 below the one listing on this shelf that is actually discounted.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 349 for the barrier repair hydrating shower gel — ceramide bodycare at the low tier.
Fourteen of nineteen pack-of-2 listings are priced at exactly double their single. The label gives nothing. The homepage's flat 25% on combos, against 15% sitewide, is the whole argument for buying a pack.
Rs. 1,190 for two Rs. 595 sunscreens — 2 × 595 = 1,190, with nothing taken off for buying both.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,190 for two SPF 50+ cica sunscreens — the same rupees as buying them one at a time.
Rs. 1,390 for two Rs. 695 serums — the dearest pair here, and again exactly double.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,390 for two 10% vitamin C serums — twice Rs. 695, to the rupee.
Rs. 750 for two Rs. 375 face washes — the same doubling, at the shelf's cheapest verifiable pack.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 750 for two barrier repair face washes — twice Rs. 375, no pack discount.
Rs. 498 for two 100 g tubes — Rs. 249 each, below the Rs. 375 single, because the tube is smaller.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 498 for two 100 g cica salicylic face washes — the only pack that beats its single, on size.
Four rules follow from 147 listings with one markdown between them. First: stop looking for the deal and read the tier. On a shelf where eight sunscreens cost Rs. 595 and five serums cost Rs. 599, the price has no information in it — the formula does. Pick the cica and niacinamide sunscreen for oily skin, the mineral one at Rs. 649 if your skin is reactive, the Rs. 495 swim-and-sports one if you are outdoors, and ignore the fact that they are within Rs. 154 of each other. Second: buy small where the product is rinsed off and big where it is left on. The Rs. 249 foaming cleanser does the same job in the same sixty seconds as the Rs. 499 cleansing balm; the Rs. 695 serum sits on your face for eight hours. That is where the rupees belong. Third: the pack is not the saving — the cart rate is. Because fourteen of nineteen two-packs cost exactly double, the only reason to buy one is the flat 25% the homepage states on combos against the flat 15% it states sitewide, which is ten percentage points on an identical basket. Add the stated extra 5% for prepaid and the gap widens. Verify both rates in your own cart before you commit, because banner offers change without notice and ours is a reading from one day. Fourth: watch the grams. The only pack on this shelf that undercuts its single — Rs. 498 for two 100 g face washes against Rs. 375 for the standard tube — does it by holding less product, and the cheapest sunscreen at Rs. 445 is a 50 g tube against the Rs. 595 full size. On a shelf with no percentages, size is the discount. Our Dot & Key coupon page tracks live codes, and our Nykaa code page is worth a cross-check if the same product is stocked there.

Every price on this page comes from dotandkey.com's own product data on July 30, 2026 — 147 in-stock listings across sunscreens, serums, moisturisers, cleansers, toners, masks, lip balms, bodycare, haircare and 54 combo listings. We used the store's own compare-at figures rather than any third-party claim about what these products "normally" cost.
146 of the 147 listings state a compare-at price identical to what you pay. Exactly one listing is genuinely marked down: the Cica + 1% Salicylic Acid Exfoliating Shower Gel at Rs. 319 against a stated Rs. 399, twenty per cent off. That is the entire discount landscape on the shelf, which is why you will see no percentage badges on this page — putting them there would have meant inventing them.
Rs. 395 carries ten listings, Rs. 495 nine, Rs. 595 eight, Rs. 249 eight, Rs. 599 seven, Rs. 399 five. Eight of twelve sunscreens are Rs. 595; five of eight serums are Rs. 599; seven of twelve moisturisers are Rs. 495; four of five lip balms are Rs. 249. Within a tier, price tells you nothing and the formula tells you everything — so every pick below is argued on what is in the tube.
Of nineteen pack-of-2 listings, fourteen cost exactly twice the single of the same product on the same shelf — Rs. 1,190 for two Rs. 595 sunscreens, Rs. 1,390 for two Rs. 695 serums, Rs. 750 for two Rs. 375 face washes, Rs. 498 for two Rs. 249 lip balms. Four are smaller-size bundles, where the per-tube price is genuinely lower because the tube is smaller. One we could not match to a single and left out of the count. The store's homepage states flat 15% off sitewide, flat 25% off combos and an extra 5% on prepaid orders; those cart-level rates, not the labels, are where a saving exists. Prices read July 30, 2026.
Not on the product labels, in our read. We checked all 147 in-stock listings on dotandkey.com on July 30, 2026 and 146 of them state a compare-at price identical to the selling price. Exactly one was marked down — a Cica + 1% Salicylic Acid Exfoliating Shower Gel at Rs. 319 against a stated Rs. 399. The discounting happens at the cart instead: the store's own homepage stated flat 15% off sitewide, flat 25% off combos and an extra 5% on prepaid orders on the day we read it. Verify those rates in your own basket, because banner offers change without notice.
On the label, no. Fourteen of the nineteen pack-of-2 listings we found cost exactly twice the single of the same product: Rs. 1,190 for two Rs. 595 sunscreens, Rs. 1,390 for two Rs. 695 serums, Rs. 750 for two Rs. 375 face washes, Rs. 498 for two Rs. 249 lip balms. The reason to buy a pack anyway is the cart-level rate the homepage states — flat 25% on combos against flat 15% sitewide, which is ten percentage points on an identical basket. The only pack that undercuts its own single is a two-pack of 100 g tubes at Rs. 498, and it does that by holding less product than the Rs. 375 standard size.
Price will not decide it for you: eight of the twelve sunscreens we read cost exactly Rs. 595. For oily or acne-prone skin, the Cica + Niacinamide SPF 50+ PA++++ at Rs. 595 is the one whose actives address oil and redness directly. For reactive or post-procedure skin, the Rs. 649 100% mineral version is the only fully mineral filter in the range. If you are swimming or running, the Rs. 495 Swim + Sports listing is the only one claiming water and sweat resistance. If you want the cheapest way in, the Rs. 445 Dragon Fruit Bounce gel is a 50 g tube with the same stated SPF 50+ PA++++ rating.
The Rs. 249 lip balms. Four of the five cost exactly Rs. 249 and every one states SPF 50+ PA+++ — sun protection built into a product you reapply through the day, on the part of the face where nobody reapplies sunscreen. It costs the same as the cheapest foaming cleanser and Rs. 346 less than the Rs. 595 face sunscreens. If you are buying one thing from this brand to see whether it suits you, that is the one we would start with.
Because Dot & Key's own product data does not provide them. On the discounts: 146 of 147 listings state a compare-at price equal to the selling price, so printing a percentage badge would have meant inventing one, and we do not do that. On ratings: the product data returned no rating value and no review count for any listing in this read, so there are no rating pills anywhere on this page. Their absence reflects the data available to us on July 30, 2026, not a judgement about the products.
