Perfora Oral Care August 2026: Which Product Does Which Job

Perfora August 2026 collage - the Smart Sonic rechargeable electric toothbrush, the Smart Dental Flosser in black gold, the Purple Magic self-dissolving whitening strips and the Zou kids electric toothbrush
Zoutons Picks — Perfora by the Job, August 2026

Everyday brushing, sensitive teeth, whitening, flossing, breath and kids - seven chapters, twenty-six picks, and the refill price that decides the electric-versus-manual question.

Prices & codes last verified August 3, 2026

The short of it Perfora's own feed, 92 in-stock products read on August 3. The Rs. 158 tongue scraper is the thing we would buy first. The Rs. 349 six-strip pack is the cheapest whitening per strip. The Rs. 1,149 battery brush is dearer than the rechargeable one. Every replacement head is Rs. 449, adult or child.

We pulled Perfora's own product feed on August 3, 2026 and got 99 listings, 92 of them in stock and carrying an image. That is a small catalogue by Indian D2C standards, and it is entirely about one part of the body, which makes it a good candidate for the thing a category page never does: sorting by the job rather than by the price. So that is what this page is. Seven chapters - everyday brushing, sensitive teeth, whitening, powered brushing, cleaning between the teeth, fresh breath and children - with twenty-six products seated inside them and compared only against the others doing the same job. Three things fell out of doing it that way, and they are the reason to read past the first chapter. The first is that the sticker price repeatedly points the wrong way once you divide: the Rs. 165 charcoal tube has the smallest price tag of any paste here and is not the cheapest per gram, because the 150 g tubes at Rs. 239 work out at Rs. 1.59 a gram against Rs. 1.65, and the same reversal happens in mouthwash and in whitening strips. The second is that the word whitening covers four unrelated mechanisms in this catalogue - an abrasive powder, an optical purple serum, a stain-lifting paste and a peroxide-free strip - which cost between Rs. 239 and Rs. 1,299 and do genuinely different things, and the product pages do not distinguish between them. The third is the one that matters most before you spend anything: every replacement brush head in this range costs Rs. 449, whether it goes into the Rs. 999 adult handle, the Rs. 2,999 sonic one or the Rs. 899 children's brush. That single flat number, not the handle price, is what actually answers the electric-versus-manual question, and we have put the arithmetic on the page rather than leaving it implied. Our earlier read on how Perfora discounts the basket and not the refill covers the pricing structure behind that, and the same job-first approach at Mamaearth shows how differently a bigger catalogue behaves. Nothing on this page is dental advice, we have not used any of it, and Perfora's feed publishes no ratings at all.

Every price below was pulled from Perfora on August 3, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Perfora coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

Five rules for buying oral care from a catalogue this size

First: buy the tongue scraper before anything else. It is Rs. 158, it never needs replacing, and if what you actually want is better breath it does more than the Rs. 279 paste, the Rs. 199 rinse or the Rs. 399 rinse in the same chapter - the bacteria that cause ordinary bad breath sit on the back of the tongue, where a toothbrush does not reach and a mouthwash only masks. Second: divide before you buy. Per gram, per millilitre and per strip, the smaller pack is very often the more expensive purchase here, and in three separate places on this page the product with the lower sticker is the worse arithmetic. Third: price the consumable at the same time as the device. Replacement brush heads are Rs. 449 across five Perfora models and flosser nozzles are Rs. 389 a pair, so the real question on a Rs. 999 handle is not Rs. 999, it is roughly Rs. 2,795 in year one on the common three-month replacement guidance. Fourth: check whether the product you are looking at is listed twice. The ultra-soft four-pack of manual brushes appears at both Rs. 199 and Rs. 299 with the same title and the same photograph, and the charcoal mouthwash appears at both Rs. 199 and Rs. 219 - we are alleging nothing beyond describing what is in the feed, but you can pay more for the identical item by landing on the wrong page, so it is worth a second search. Fifth: work out which whitening mechanism you actually want before you spend, because a Rs. 249 optical serum and a Rs. 1,299 strip course are not two price points on one product, they are two different things. Our read on what each Perfora whitening method actually does goes through that in more detail.

What we skipped — and why

What we skipped, and why: the thirteen combination kits and every multipack. Perfora's feed carries a large number of bundles - the Rs. 899 Purple Whitening Kit, Oral Care Essentials Kit, Complete Oral Care Pack, Morning and Night Care Kit, Teeth Whitening Combo, Charcoal Deep Clean Kit and Bad Breath Killer Kit, the Rs. 980 and Rs. 999 whitening combos, the Rs. 1,099 serum-and-strips combo and several paste-plus-serum pairs from Rs. 584 - and a bundle cannot be compared against a single product on the job it does, which is what this page is for. They are also where the deepest badges in the feed sit, which is exactly why they do not belong in a like-for-like list. We also left out the multipack sizes of things we did seat: the three-pack and two-pack Purple Magic toothpastes at Rs. 598 to Rs. 749, the Rs. 887 and Rs. 1,199 purple serum multipacks, the three-pack whitening mouthwash at Rs. 598 and the 400 ml and 600 ml charcoal mouthwash sizes. Of the remaining single products we did not seat: the Rs. 2,149 Limitless Black oscillating brush, which is the same mechanism as the Rs. 1,799 one bundled with heads; the Rs. 499 oscillating and Rs. 404 M004 replacement heads, both named on the head card instead; the Rs. 949 fourteen-strip pack, whose per-strip price we quote on the six-pack card; the Rs. 449 Zi kids brush heads and Rs. 899 Zi kids brush, which are styling variants of the Zou models; the Rs. 185 bubblegum kids toothpaste, named on the kids paste card; the Rs. 183 whitening mouthwash and Rs. 259 300 ml lemon mint rinse, both dearer per millilitre than the 500 ml bottle we picked; the Rs. 159 mouth sprays and Rs. 296 spray twin-packs; the Rs. 125 GudGum chewing gums; the Rs. 249 travel case for the M001; the three tongue cleaners above Rs. 158; the Rs. 299 Purple Magic and Unwind pastes and the Rs. 538 Morning and Night pack; and the duplicate no-discount listings of the Dream White, Dream Relief, ultra-soft brush, charcoal mouthwash and kids toothpaste, which we describe on the relevant cards rather than seating twice.

What we look for

We sorted by the job, not by the discount

Perfora's own products feed at perforacare.com returned 99 listings on August 3, 2026, of which 92 were in stock and carried an image. Rather than rank them by price or by badge, we grouped them by the job a buyer is hiring the product for - everyday brushing, sensitive teeth, whitening, powered brushing, cleaning between the teeth, breath, and children - and compared only within each group. That is the comparison that is actually available to a shopper standing in one category, and it is the one the product pages make hardest, because a category page mixes single tubes, multipacks and combination kits into one list. Every rupee figure on this page came from that feed on that date and every one of them can change without notice.

We worked out the per-unit price, because the sticker misleads

Several of the useful decisions here are invisible until you divide. The Rs. 165 charcoal tube has the smallest sticker of any paste and is not the cheapest per gram - the 150 g Dream White and Dream Relief tubes at Rs. 239 are, at Rs. 1.59 a gram against Rs. 1.65. The Rs. 399 500 ml mouthwash is Rs. 0.80 a millilitre against Rs. 1.00 for the 200 ml bottle at Rs. 199. The Rs. 349 six-strip whitening pack is Rs. 58.17 a strip, cheaper per strip than either fourteen-count pack in the feed. Where a per-unit figure changes the answer, we have put it on the card.

We stated the running cost next to every device

Three of the seven chapters here sell hardware with a consumable attached, and the consumable is the part the price tag hides. Perfora's replacement brush heads are Rs. 449 across five different models in this feed - the M001 rechargeable, the M001 battery-operated, the Smart Sonic and both kids brushes - with the oscillating head at Rs. 499 and the M004 at Rs. 404. The flosser nozzles are Rs. 389 a pair. Wherever we quote an annual figure we have stated the assumption behind it, which is the commonly given guidance to replace a brush head about every three months; that is an assumption and not a fact about your household, and the feed does not state how many heads are in a replacement pack, so we have not implied one.

No ratings, no testing, and no dental claims of our own

Perfora's product feed publishes no customer ratings and no review counts, so not one pick here carries a rating pill and we have not imported a score from a marketplace or a review site to fill the gap. We have not used, brushed with, rinsed with or worn any product on this page. Where we describe what a mechanism does - what an abrasive powder does to surface stains, why purple reads as whiter, why a tongue scraper addresses breath, why brushing pressure matters - that is general category understanding plus the brand's own listing copy, clearly labelled as such. Phrases like clinically proven appear on this page only inside quotations of Perfora's own listings; we have not seen the underlying studies and we do not endorse them. Nothing here is dental advice and none of it substitutes for a dentist.

FAQs

Is a Perfora electric toothbrush worth it over a manual one?

It depends almost entirely on the running cost, not the handle price, and the numbers are knowable. Perfora's replacement brush heads are Rs. 449 across five different models in its August 3, 2026 feed - the M001 rechargeable, the M001 battery-operated, the Smart Sonic and both kids brushes - with the oscillating head at Rs. 499 and the M004 at Rs. 404. On the commonly given guidance to replace a head about every three months, that is roughly Rs. 1,796 a year per person, indefinitely, whichever handle you bought. The FlexiClean manual three-pack at Rs. 314 works out at about Rs. 419 a year on the same assumption. So the honest framing is that a powered brush costs something like four times as much to keep running. What it buys you is a two-minute timer, a thirty-second quadrant prompt, and on the Rs. 3,499 model a pressure sensor - features that address real and common brushing mistakes. If you brush carefully already, the manual pack is defensible. If you rush, the timer alone may be worth it. We have not tested any of these and this is not dental advice.

Which Perfora toothpaste should I buy?

Match it to the job, then check the per-gram price. For ordinary daily use the Activated Charcoal tube at Rs. 165 for 100 g is the default. If your teeth are sensitive, the Dream Relief tube at Rs. 239 for 150 g is the only paste in the range positioned at that. If you want surface-stain removal, Dream White is also Rs. 239 for 150 g. For breath, the Awake lemon mint tube is Rs. 279 for 100 g. The arithmetic worth knowing is that the two 150 g tubes are the cheapest per gram in the whole range at Rs. 1.59, below the Rs. 1.65 of the smaller charcoal tube and well below the Rs. 2.79 of the Awake tube - so the biggest sticker is not the most expensive paste. Ingredient and efficacy claims on all of these are Perfora's own; we have not used any of them and the feed publishes no ratings.

What is the cheapest way to whiten teeth with Perfora products?

By sticker, the Dream White paste at Rs. 239 for 150 g. By cost per use, the six-strip whitening pack at Rs. 349, which is Rs. 58.17 a strip - cheaper per strip than the Rs. 949 fourteen-pack at Rs. 67.79 and much cheaper than the Rs. 1,299 self-dissolving fourteen-pack at Rs. 92.79. But cheapest is the wrong question here, because Perfora sells whitening through four unrelated mechanisms. A paste lifts surface stains. The Rs. 246 powder is an abrasive that scrubs deposits mechanically, which is why it should be occasional rather than daily. The Rs. 249 purple serum is an optical effect - purple cancels yellow, so teeth read whiter immediately and it fades. Strips are the only route that is not purely surface or optical. Decide which of those you want before comparing prices, because they are not four price points on one product. All descriptions here come from Perfora's listings and general category understanding; we have not tested any of them.

Is a Perfora water flosser worth Rs. 2,199?

Only if you are not already flossing with string. Perfora sells two water flossers: the Power Dental Flosser at Rs. 2,199 with three clean modes and the Smart Dental Flosser at Rs. 3,199 with five, and their listings otherwise describe the same job in near-identical language, so the thousand-rupee gap buys two extra modes and a different finish. Both take the same replaceable nozzles at Rs. 389 for a pack of two, and a two-person household needs one nozzle each, so realistic entry is Rs. 2,588. The honest comparison the product page does not make is against string floss, which costs a few tens of rupees and does the same job. If you floss with string daily, a device will not improve on it. If you have genuinely never managed to, a device you will use beats a technique you will not. We have not used either and this is not dental advice.

Does Perfora show customer ratings on its products?

Not in its product feed. We read perforacare.com's own products feed on August 3, 2026 and it publishes no customer ratings and no review counts on any of the 92 in-stock listings. That is why no pick on this page carries a rating pill, and we have deliberately not imported a star score from a marketplace listing or a review site to fill the gap, because a rating attached to a different seller's listing is not a rating of this one. It also means that everything on this page is about price, pack size, stated specification and category reasoning, and nothing on it is about how these products actually perform - we have not used any of them. Durability, fit of a brush head, how a paste tastes and whether a whitening claim holds up are not things a price feed can establish.

More Perfora coverage on Zoutons

How Zoutons picks deals Zoutons may earn a commission when you buy through links on this page. Every price, stated MRP and discount percentage here was read from Perfora's own product feed at perforacare.com on August 3, 2026, and all of them can change without notice. That pull returned 99 listings, of which 92 were in stock and carried an image; the 26 products seated here are single products rather than kits or multipacks, and prices shown are for the cheapest available variant of each. Our per-unit figures are simple division on the pack sizes stated in those listings: Rs. 1.59 a gram for the 150 g tubes at Rs. 239 against Rs. 1.65 for the 100 g tube at Rs. 165, Rs. 0.80 a millilitre for the 500 ml rinse at Rs. 399 against Rs. 1.00 for the 200 ml at Rs. 199, Rs. 58.17 a strip for the Rs. 349 six-pack against Rs. 67.79 for the Rs. 949 fourteen-pack and Rs. 92.79 for the Rs. 1,299 self-dissolving fourteen-pack, Rs. 104.67 a brush for the Rs. 314 three-pack and Rs. 49.75 for the Rs. 199 four-pack. Annual running-cost figures are arithmetic on one clearly stated assumption - the commonly given guidance to replace a brush head about every three months - and are not a prediction about any household; the feed lists replacement heads by colour and does not state a pack quantity, so we have not implied one. Where the same item appears under two listings at different prices, as the ultra-soft brush four-pack does at Rs. 199 and Rs. 299 and the charcoal mouthwash does at Rs. 199 and Rs. 219, we report what the feed shows and allege nothing further. Perfora's feed publishes no customer ratings or review counts, so no pick here carries a rating pill and we have not substituted a score from any other source. We have not used, brushed with, rinsed with or tested any product on this page. Every ingredient, mode count, warranty length, battery life and efficacy statement attributed to a product is quoted from Perfora's own listing copy and is not verified by us; phrases such as clinically proven are the brand's and we have not seen the underlying studies. Descriptions of how a category works - what an abrasive does to surface stains, why purple pigment reads as whiter, why the posterior tongue drives ordinary bad breath, why brushing pressure matters - reflect general category understanding, not testing. Nothing on this page is dental or medical advice and none of it substitutes for a consultation with a dentist.
