Plum prints the strength of the active on the front of nearly everything it sells. Sort the shop by that number and by pack size, and the choices stop being a hunt for a badge.
We pulled Plum's own product feed on August 2, 2026 and got 340 in-stock listings with images. The first job was throwing some of them out. Sixty carry a product type of free_gift or merch, and six of those are priced at Rs. 1 against stated MRPs running up to Rs. 950 - which renders as a hundred per cent off and is in fact a gift-with-purchase slot rather than a product you can put in a basket by itself. Remove all sixty and you are left with 280 listings you can actually buy, which is the population every number on this page describes. Then the pattern became obvious, and it was not the one the category page invites you to look for. The discount on this shelf is close to a constant. Ten per cent is the single most common band, the median Plum-branded single product is discounted by exactly ten per cent, thirty-three listings carry no discount at all, and the most expensive product in the entire feed - a Rs. 1,417 serum - is marked down by the same ten per cent as a Rs. 269 sunscreen. A badge that says the same thing about almost everything cannot help you choose between two bottles. What can help is the number Plum prints on the front of nearly every one of them. This is a brand that names its products by their active and its strength - 2% niacinamide, 3% niacinamide, 5%, 10%, 1.5% vitamin C, 15% vitamin C, 1% salicylic, 2% salicylic, 5% glycolic, 1% retinol - and once you sort the shop that way, the real decisions appear. Some of them are surprising: the 5% niacinamide serum is Rs. 509 for 30 ml while the 10% in the same 30 ml size is Rs. 560, so doubling the active costs fifty-one rupees. Others are traps, like the 2% salicylic serum that costs Rs. 22.50 a millilitre in its small bottle and Rs. 16.97 in its large one, with the badge sitting on the large one. If you want the same exercise run on a marketplace rather than a brand's own site, our read on the same actives priced across Nykaa is the useful companion, and our Mamaearth under-Rs.-500 read covers the other big Indian D2C skincare shelf.
Every price below was pulled from Plum on August 2, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Plum coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.
Plum sells niacinamide at four strengths across five formats, and the price does not climb with the concentration in the way you would expect. The 5% serum is Rs. 509 for 30 ml; the 10% serum in the same 30 ml size is Rs. 560. Fifty-one rupees for double the active.
Rs. 260 for 100 ml at 2% - the cheapest way to put this active into a routine.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 260 for a 100 ml wash at 2% niacinamide, and the lowest-risk thing on this page.
Rs. 400 for 150 ml at 3% - Rs. 2.67 a millilitre, the cheapest active-per-ml here.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 400 for 150 ml of 3% niacinamide toner - Rs. 2.67 per ml, less than a sixth of serum rates.
Rs. 509 for 30 ml at 5% - the sensible middle of the ladder, at Rs. 16.97 a millilitre.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 509 for 30 ml at 5% niacinamide, and the concentration most skin actually wants.
Rs. 303 for 15 ml at 10% - the cheapest way to try the strongest niacinamide Plum sells.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 303 for 15 ml at 10% - a small bottle of the strong stuff, at a third of the big one.
Rs. 584 for a night serum pairing 10% niacinamide with tranexamic acid.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 584 for 10% niacinamide plus tranexamic acid - a targeted product, not a routine upgrade.
Four vitamin C products, three of which state their strength and one of which does not. The 10% serum carries the deepest discount of any Plum-branded pick on this page at twenty per cent - and it is also cheaper per millilitre than the 15%.
Rs. 337 for a vitamin C cleanser - and the only active product here that states no percentage.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 337 for a mandarin and vitamin C foaming wash, with the strength left unstated.
Rs. 382 at 1.5% - and Plum's 1% version of the same toner is Rs. 378, four rupees less.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 382 for the 1.5% vitamin C toner, with the 1% sitting alongside it at Rs. 378.
Rs. 456 for 20 ml at 15% - the highest vitamin C concentration Plum lists.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 456 for 20 ml at 15% vitamin C - the top of the range, in the smaller bottle.
Rs. 519 for 30 ml at 10% - twenty per cent off, the largest badge on any Plum-branded pick here.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 519 for 30 ml of 10% vitamin C with calendula - Rs. 17.30 a millilitre, and the best-badged active.
The same 2% salicylic serum sits at Rs. 225 for 10 ml and Rs. 509 for 30 ml - Rs. 22.50 a millilitre against Rs. 16.97. The small bottle looks like the budget choice and is the expensive one. Glycolic and alpha arbutin do different jobs again, and none of the three should be layered.
Rs. 282 for 110 ml at 1% encapsulated salicylic - the gentle end of the acid shelf.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 282 for a 110 ml foaming wash at 1% salicylic acid - the low-commitment first step.
Rs. 225 for 10 ml, at no discount - Rs. 22.50 a millilitre for the same formula as the card below.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 225 for 10 ml of 2% salicylic serum - the small bottle, and the expensive one per ml.
Rs. 509 for 30 ml - fifteen per cent off, and Rs. 5.53 a millilitre cheaper than the 10 ml.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 509 for 30 ml of the same 2% salicylic serum - Rs. 16.97 a millilitre, the sensible buy.
Rs. 449 for 150 ml at 5% glycolic - Rs. 2.99 a millilitre, and a different job from salicylic.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 449 for 150 ml of 5% glycolic acid toner - surface texture, at toner economics.
Rs. 509 for 30 ml at 2% alpha arbutin - the same price and size as the salicylic serum.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 509 for 30 ml of 2% alpha arbutin with hyaluronic acid - a targeted pigmentation pick.
The cheapest thing in this chapter is the one that decides whether anything above it works. Then the repair cream for when the acids have gone too far, the 1% retinol that is not a beginner's product, and the most expensive serum in the feed - discounted by exactly the same ten per cent as everything else.
Rs. 269 for 30 g of SPF 50 PA++++ - the product that decides whether the rest of the page works.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 269 for a 30 g SPF 50 PA++++ hybrid sunscreen with 2% niacinamide.
Rs. 359 for 50 g at 1% ceramide - the repair step for skin that has had too many acids.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 359 for a 50 g oat and 1% ceramide cream - Rs. 7.18 a gram, and the recovery product here.
Rs. 478 for 20 ml at 1% retinol with bakuchiol - the strongest thing on this page.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 478 for 20 ml at 1% retinol - a genuinely potent product, and not a beginner's buy.
Rs. 1,417 - the most expensive single product in the feed, at ten per cent off like almost everything else.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,417 for the Bright Years Cell Renewal Serum - Plum's top-of-range product for mature skin.
One hundred and thirteen of the 280 buyable listings are BodyLovin' - body, bath and fragrance, at a median discount around sixteen per cent against exactly ten for Plum's own actives. The deepest badges in the entire shop are on perfume, not skincare.
Rs. 245 for 200 ml - Rs. 1.23 a millilitre, the cheapest per-ml product of our twenty-one.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 245 for 200 ml of dessert-scented body lotion - Rs. 1.23 a millilitre.
Rs. 269 for a 15 ml eau de parfum - the entry price to the fragrance range.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 269 for a 15 ml EDP - the least expensive way into BodyLovin' fragrance.
Rs. 799 against Rs. 1,199 - thirty-three per cent, the largest badge on any buyable single here.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 799 for an eau de parfum at 33% off - the deepest genuine discount in our whole read.
Four rules from a 280-listing read. First: divide by the pack size before you compare anything. Plum sells the same 2% salicylic serum at Rs. 225 for 10 ml and Rs. 509 for 30 ml, which is Rs. 22.50 against Rs. 16.97 a millilitre - the bottle that looks cheaper on the shelf is a quarter more expensive per use. The same holds on the 10% niacinamide serum, where 15 ml, 30 ml and 50 ml work out to Rs. 20.20, Rs. 18.67 and Rs. 14.42 a millilitre. Second: pick the concentration for your skin, not your wallet, because the price gaps between strengths are small. Fifty-one rupees separates the 5% and 10% niacinamide serums in the same size. Four rupees separates the 1% and 1.5% vitamin C toners. When the money barely moves, the only sensible basis for choosing is tolerance, and the lower strength is usually the right starting point. Third: search the product name before you buy, because several products sit on more than one listing at more than one price - the 30 g niacinamide sunscreen at Rs. 269 and Rs. 299, the 15 ml eau de parfum at Rs. 269 and Rs. 325. Nothing on the category page points you to the cheaper listing. Fourth: check the combos rather than assuming them. The two-pack of the Oat and 1% Ceramide cream works out to Rs. 323 a jar against Rs. 359 singly, which is a genuine saving, but the two-pack of the 10% vitamin C serum is Rs. 525 a bottle against Rs. 519 singly - slightly worse than buying two. Our Plum coupon page tracks live codes, and for the wider Indian beauty shelf our read on impulse buys versus needs is the companion piece.

Every price, stated MRP and discount on this page came from plumgoodness.com's own product feed on August 2, 2026. That pull returned 340 in-stock listings with images. Sixty of them carry a product type of free_gift or merch - including six priced at Rs. 1 against stated MRPs of up to Rs. 950, which read as 100% off and are in fact gift-with-purchase slots rather than things you can add to a basket on their own. We removed all sixty. Every number on this page therefore describes one of the 280 listings you can actually buy, and no discount figure here is inflated by a giveaway.
Because on this shelf the discount barely moves. Ten per cent is the single most common band across the 280 buyable listings, the median Plum-branded single product is discounted by exactly ten per cent, and thirty-three listings carry no discount at all. A badge that is almost always the same number cannot help you choose between two products. What does vary is the two figures Plum prints on the front of nearly every bottle - the percentage of the active and the millilitres in the pack - so we built the page around those instead, and we state the cost per millilitre wherever the feed gives us a size to divide by.
It happens, in both halves of the shop, and it changes what you pay. The 2% salicylic serum is Rs. 22.50 a millilitre in its 10 ml listing and Rs. 16.97 a millilitre in its 30 ml one. What appears to be the same 30 g niacinamide sunscreen is Rs. 269 on one listing and Rs. 299 on another. The same 15 ml eau de parfum is Rs. 269 on one listing and Rs. 325 on another. We read these as ordinary multi-listing clutter rather than anything untoward, and we say so - but the listing you land on decides your price, and the category page does not point you at the cheaper one.
One 10% niacinamide serum listed at Rs. 249 states no pack size at all in the feed - its variant is labelled Default Title - so we have described it in the text rather than seating it as a pick, because a price without a volume cannot be compared with anything else here. Plum's feed publishes no customer ratings or review counts, so no pick on this page carries a rating pill; that absence is the platform's and we will not import a score from elsewhere to fill it. We have not used, worn or smelled any product on this page. Statements about what an ingredient does reflect general category understanding, not testing, and prices read on August 2, 2026 can change without notice.
For most people, the 5%. In the same 30 ml size the 5% serum is Rs. 509 and the 10% is Rs. 560, so the higher concentration costs about fifty-one rupees more - the money is not the deciding factor. Five per cent is roughly where most published work on niacinamide sits and it is less likely to cause the flushing or irritation that a minority of people report at higher strengths. If you already use niacinamide comfortably and want to go up, the 10% is there, and its 50 ml bottle at Rs. 721 is the cheapest per millilitre of any niacinamide serum Plum sells at Rs. 14.42. If you are new to the ingredient, start lower.
Per millilitre, it is. The 2% Encapsulated Salicylic Acid Face Serum is Rs. 225 for 10 ml, which is Rs. 22.50 a millilitre, and Rs. 509 for 30 ml, which is Rs. 16.97 a millilitre - about a quarter cheaper per use in the larger bottle. The small one also carries no discount while the large one is 15% off, so the badge and the arithmetic point the same way here. The only good reason to buy the 10 ml is that you have never used salicylic acid and want a small quantity to test tolerance, which is a real reason. Buying it because it is the cheaper number on the shelf is the mistake.
Rarely on skincare, and mostly on fragrance. Across the 280 buyable listings we read on August 2, 2026, 10% was the single most common discount band, the median Plum-branded single product was discounted by exactly 10%, and 33 listings carried no discount at all. The deepest discounts on single products we found were 33%, and all of them were BodyLovin' eaux de parfum. Combos and bundles discount a little harder than singles - the median BodyLovin' combo sat around 23% - but the active skincare that the brand is known for moves very little, so waiting for a large markdown on a serum is not a strategy that has much to work with.
They are gift-with-purchase slots, not products you can buy on their own. Our pull found six listings priced at Rs. 1 against stated MRPs of up to Rs. 950 - a mystery box, a body mist, a tan-fading serum, a pouch, a mug and a glycolic toner - all carrying a product type of free_gift or merch in the feed. Rendered as a percentage, they read as 100% off, which is why we removed them and the other 54 gift and merch listings before calculating anything on this page. If you see one of these attached to your basket at checkout it is a promotion on a qualifying order, not a Rs. 1 purchase.
The 2% Niacinamide & Rice Water SPF 50 PA++++ Hybrid Sunscreen at Rs. 269 for 30 g, and it is not close. Most of the actives on this page either increase sun sensitivity - the 5% glycolic toner and the 1% retinol serum notably - or target damage that unprotected sun exposure causes faster than a serum can address it, which is particularly true of the Rs. 509 alpha arbutin tan-fading serum. Spending Rs. 509 on pigmentation while skipping a Rs. 269 sunscreen is spending the money for very little. We have not worn it, so we have no view on white cast, texture or how it behaves in humidity, and those are the things that decide whether a sunscreen is used daily. Note also that what appears to be the same 30 g sunscreen sits on a second listing at Rs. 299 with no discount, so check which one you are on.
