AJIO Home Textiles: The Price Is for the Pack, Not the Product

AJIO home textiles August 2026 collage - Rosarahome set of five jacquard cushion covers, CG HOMES 200 TC fitted bedsheet, BIANCA eyelet door curtains and an AFAST glass dinner plate set
Zoutons Picks — AJIO Home, August 2026

308 AJIO home listings, read on August 4. The curtains that never say how many panels are in the pack discount a median 81 per cent; the ones that say discount 53. Twenty-four picks, every price divided by its piece count.

Prices & codes last verified August 4, 2026

The short of it 308 AJIO home listings, read August 4. The same Rs. 288 buys one BIANCA door curtain or two, same brand, same sticker, same badge. Seven CG HOMES bedsheets all cost Rs. 360 - only the title says which has 200 threads and which has 150. Two Rosarahome cushion covers cost Rs. 11 more than five. Five bath towels in 49 publish a GSM figure, and this is the cheapest of them.

Home textiles are the one aisle where the price on the card tells you almost nothing, and AJIO's August shelf makes the case better than any argument could. On August 4, 2026 we ran five queries against AJIO's own search API - bedsheet, curtains, cushion cover, bath towel and dinner set - and kept the 308 listings that returned a price, a stated MRP above it and an image. Before sorting by anything we read the titles for a quantity, and what fell out is this: Rs. 288 buys two BIANCA woven eyelet door curtains, and Rs. 288 also buys one BIANCA jacquard blackout eyelet door curtain, on the same day, from the same brand, against an identical stated MRP of Rs. 2,399, at an identical 88 per cent badge. Nothing on either card distinguishes them except three characters of title text. The same thing happens one shelf over, where CG HOMES has seven double bedsheets priced at exactly Rs. 360 against exactly Rs. 1,999 - one of them 200 TC, fitted, with two pillow covers, another 150 TC, flat, with nothing else named. And it happens again in cushion covers, where Rosarahome sells five covers for Rs. 234 and two covers for Rs. 245, with the deeper discount badge attached to the five. The pattern is measurable, not anecdotal. Of the 81 curtain listings in our pull, 62 state a piece count somewhere in the title and 19 state none at all; the ones that tell you carry a median discount of 53 per cent and the ones that do not carry 81. The deepest badge in the entire read, 91 per cent, belongs to a listing that never says how many panels arrive. This is the home-furnishing version of the argument our read on two AJIO aisles sharing one MRP made about clothing, and it points the same way as our August read on which activewear listings name a spec: the sellers publishing the least information run the deepest badges. One important limitation before you read on. AJIO's search response returned no rating and no review count on any of the 308 rows, so nothing here carries a rating pill and we have imported no score from anywhere else - which for products that fail slowly, through washing, is exactly the evidence we would most want and cannot get. Everything below is an argument from stated specification and division. We have not handled, washed, hung or eaten off any of it.

Every price below was pulled from AJIO on August 4, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our AJIO coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

“Of 81 curtain listings, the 62 that tell you how many panels are in the pack discount a median 53 per cent. The 19 that do not discount a median 81.” Zoutons Editorial Team

Five rules for buying home textiles off a grid

First: divide before you compare. Every price on this shelf is attached to a listing rather than a quantity, so the only number that compares across two cards is the per-piece rate. Rs. 234 for five cushion covers is Rs. 47 each; Rs. 245 for two is Rs. 123 each; the second listing looks cheaper and costs 2.6 times as much. Second: read the title for the two words that change the parcel - a count and a component. 'Set of 2' versus nothing, 'with Pillow Covers' versus nothing, 'Plates with Bowls' versus 'Plates'. On this shelf those words are the entire specification and they are frequently the only difference between two identically priced listings. Third: learn the one number your category runs on. Bedsheets have thread count, where 150 TC is basic, 200 is comfortable and 250 is good; towels have GSM, where 400 is thin, 500 to 600 is right and above 700 never dries; curtains have blackout or not, which is the only curtain property that changes how a room feels. Fourth: on this shelf, a very deep badge is a prompt to read the product page, not a reason to buy. The correlation we measured is that the deepest discounts sit on the listings publishing the least, and the same holds for the round-number stickers - a stated MRP of exactly twice the sale price is a pricing convention, not a saving. Fifth: measure your windows and your pillow inserts first. AJIO's grid frequently omits curtain drop and cushion cover dimensions, and a curtain that is six inches short is a total loss rather than a partial one. Our read on shared MRPs across AJIO ethnicwear shows the same sticker habits running through a completely different aisle.

What we skipped — and why

What we skipped, and why: 284 of the 308 listings. We left out every duplicate of a seated pick, which on this shelf is a large number - CG HOMES has four further Rs. 360 double bedsheets and four Rs. 330 single bedsheets that repeat their chapter's argument exactly, Chhavi India has four 210 TC listings all at Rs. 575 against Rs. 2,499, and Cortina's remaining 27 curtain listings all behave identically at a flat 50 per cent off double the sale price. Rosarahome alone accounts for twelve cushion-cover listings, of which we seated three. On the cushion shelf we also excluded a large group of products that the query returned but that are not cushion covers: Dream Care's waterproof mattress protectors and its washing-machine, dishwasher and air-conditioner dust covers, plus RRC's duvet covers at Rs. 920, all of which are legitimate products answering a different question. Among towels we dropped the Decathlon Nabaiji swim towel at Rs. 149 because a microfibre swim towel is not a bath towel, and Fezora's Rs. 1,040 microfibre listing on the same reasoning. On the tableware shelf we left out nine further AFAST glass listings whose per-plate rates fall between the three seated, the studio-pottery seats from VAREESHA and BODHI HOUSE between Rs. 2,384 and Rs. 4,499 - handcrafted ceramics are a different purchase from a dinner set - and the Miarcus silicone children's set at Rs. 1,019. We also skipped every listing whose stated MRP equalled or fell below its selling price, which the API returned on a handful of rows, and the Miah Decor ceramic plate at Rs. 3,782 against Rs. 3,790, a zero per cent badge that tells no story. Nothing was excluded for being a bad product; without ratings we are in no position to judge that.

What we look for

We counted the pieces, because the price does not

On August 4, 2026 we ran five queries against AJIO's own search API - bedsheet, curtains, cushion cover, bath towel and dinner set - two pages each, and kept every listing that returned a price, a stated MRP above that price and an image. That gave 308 deduplicated rows. The first thing we did with them was not to sort by discount but to read the titles for a quantity, and that is where this page came from. Rs. 288 buys either one BIANCA door curtain or two, depending on which of two listings from the same brand against the same Rs. 2,399 sticker you happen to click. Rs. 360 buys any of seven CG HOMES double bedsheets ranging from 150 TC flat with no pillow covers to 200 TC fitted with two. Rs. 234 buys five Rosarahome cushion covers while Rs. 245 buys two. Every price on this page is therefore printed with its per-piece rate, because on this shelf the per-piece rate is the only figure that compares.

The curtain listings that state no count discount 28 points deeper - and we counted

We checked whether the correlation we were seeing was real, on the one shelf with enough listings to test it. Of 81 curtain rows, 62 name a quantity somewhere in the title - 'Set of 2', 'Pack of 2', 'Single' - and 19 name none at all. The 62 that name a count carry a median discount of 53 per cent. The 19 that do not carry a median of 81. That is a 28-point gap, and the deepest badge in the entire 308-listing read, 91 per cent on a BIANCA blackout door curtain, sits in the silent group. We are reporting the association and not claiming a cause: it may simply be that the brands running deep-discount pricing also write shorter titles. But the practical consequence is the same either way, which is that on this shelf a very large percentage is a reason to go and read the product page rather than a reason to buy.

Two more counts, one of which did not go the way we expected

We ran the same test on the other specification numbers that matter in home textiles, and report both results including the one that does not support our thesis. Bath towels: 5 of 49 listings name a GSM figure, which is the number that determines absorbency and drying time - so 90 per cent of the towel shelf is unshoppable on the specification that matters, and we seated all five that publish one. Bedsheets: 50 of 75 listings name a thread count or GSM, a much better disclosure rate - but here the badge correlation vanished entirely. Listings that name their thread count carry a median 70 per cent discount; listings that name nothing carry 69. On bedsheets, publishing the number tells you nothing about the pricing. We are printing that because it is what the data says, not because it helps the argument.

No ratings exist on this shelf, and we have imported none

AJIO's search API returned null for averageRating and ratingCount on all 308 rows in this pull, so not one pick on this page carries a rating pill and we have not borrowed a score from a marketplace, a review site or anywhere else. That is a significant limitation and we would rather state it than work around it: for home textiles, which fail slowly through washing rather than immediately on arrival, buyer feedback over time is exactly the evidence you would most want and none is available here. Everything on this page is therefore an argument from stated specification and arithmetic, not from experience. We have not handled, washed, hung, dried with or eaten off any of these products. Thread counts, GSM figures, dimensions, fabric compositions and piece counts are the sellers' own listing claims, reported as claims. Where we explain what a thread count or a GSM figure means in general, that is category reasoning of ours and is flagged as such in the seat.

FAQs

Why do two AJIO curtains at the same price contain different numbers of panels?

Because the price is attached to the listing, not to a quantity, and AJIO's grid does not normalise it. In our August 4, 2026 read we found a BIANCA 'Set of 2 Woven Eyelet Door Curtains' at Rs. 288 and a BIANCA 'Jacquard Blackout Eyelet Door Curtain' - singular - also at Rs. 288, both against a stated MRP of Rs. 2,399, both badged 88 per cent off. The second is a heavier jacquard fabric with a blackout lining, so the extra money per panel is buying something real, but nothing on the card tells you that: the only signal is the presence or absence of the words 'Set of 2'. Across the whole curtain shelf, 62 of 81 listings state a count and 19 do not - and the silent ones carry a median discount of 81 per cent against 53 for the rest. Read the title for a number before you compare two prices.

What thread count should I look for in a bedsheet on AJIO?

Thread count measures threads per square inch and is the single most useful number on a bedsheet listing. As a rough guide: 150 TC is basic and will feel thin, 180 to 200 TC is the comfortable everyday range, and 250 TC and above is good quality - though beyond roughly 400 the figure gets inflated by counting multi-ply yarns as separate threads, so a very high number is not automatically better. In our read, 50 of 75 bedsheet listings published a thread count or GSM figure, which is a much better disclosure rate than the towel shelf managed. The important quirk is that CG HOMES prices seven different double bedsheets at exactly Rs. 360 against exactly Rs. 1,999 - covering 150 TC flat with no pillow covers all the way to 200 TC fitted with two. At one price, always take the higher thread count and the fitted sheet with covers. This is general category reasoning on our part; we have not slept on any of these sheets and AJIO publishes no ratings.

What is GSM on a bath towel and why does it matter?

GSM stands for grams per square metre and describes how much fabric is packed into the towel, which determines how much water it absorbs and how quickly it dries itself. Below about 400 GSM a towel is thin and dries you poorly; 500 to 600 GSM is the comfortable range most people want; above 700 GSM the towel is plush but takes a long time to dry between uses, which in a humid Indian August is a real drawback rather than a luxury. The problem is availability of the number: of 49 bath towel listings in our August 4 read, only five published a GSM figure at all. We seated all five. The cheapest was a MYTRIDENT 500 GSM towel at Rs. 500 measuring 55 by 70 inches; a Portico New York towel with the same stated 500 GSM cost Rs. 750 in a smaller cut. If a towel listing does not state a GSM and the price is very low, the honest expectation is towards the lighter end.

Are AJIO's 80% and 90% off home discounts real?

The selling prices are real. The percentages are a statement about who set the sticker. The deepest badge in our entire 308-listing read was 91 per cent, on a BIANCA blackout door curtain at Rs. 270 against a stated Rs. 2,999 - and it sits in the group of 19 curtain listings that never say how many panels are in the pack, a group whose median discount is 81 per cent against 53 for the 62 listings that do state a count. Meanwhile Cortina, the most-listed curtain brand in the pull with 30 rows, sets every stated MRP at exactly twice its selling price, producing a flat 50 per cent on all of them - which is a pricing convention, not a deal. The reliable move on this shelf is to ignore the percentage entirely, divide the rupee price by the number of pieces named in the title, and compare that. Where no count is named, treat the deep badge as a prompt to open the product page rather than a reason to buy.

Why does AJIO show no ratings on home furnishing products?

We cannot tell you why, only that it is the case and what it costs you. AJIO's search API returned null for both averageRating and ratingCount on all 308 home listings we pulled on August 4, 2026, so there is no star score and no review count available on the grid a shopper actually browses. That matters more in this category than in most, because home textiles fail slowly - a bedsheet pills after twenty washes, a towel stops absorbing, a curtain fades on the window-facing side - and the only evidence that catches slow failure is buyer feedback accumulated over months. None is available here. The consequence for this page is that nothing on it carries a rating pill, we have imported no score from any other retailer or review site, and every judgement below is built from stated specifications and arithmetic rather than from experience. Where you can, check whether the same brand and product is sold elsewhere with reviews attached before committing to a large order.

More AJIO coverage on Zoutons

How Zoutons picks deals Zoutons may earn a commission when you buy through links on this page. Every price, stated MRP and discount percentage here was read from AJIO's own search API on August 4, 2026, across five queries - bedsheet, curtains, cushion cover, bath towel and dinner set - at two pages each, keeping only listings that returned a price, a stated MRP above that price and an image, which yielded 308 deduplicated rows. All of these can change without notice. Discount percentages are computed against each listing's stated MRP, and a stated MRP is a reference figure rather than evidence that anyone paid it; where a stated MRP is exactly twice the selling price, or where seven listings from one brand share one price and one sticker, we have said so in the seat rather than let the percentage speak. Per-piece rates quoted throughout are our arithmetic, computed by dividing the listing price by the piece count named in the listing's own title; where a title names no count we have said so and not guessed. This is a read of the search grid - the page a shopper browses and filters on - and explicitly not a read of 308 individual product pages, which we did not open. Several of these products may publish a thread count, a GSM figure, a curtain drop, a cushion dimension or a full pack contents list further down their own listing; our claim is narrower, which is that before you click, on the page where you are choosing, that information is frequently absent. AJIO's search response returned null for averageRating and ratingCount on all 308 rows, so no pick on this page carries a rating pill, we have imported no score from any other source, and nothing here should be read as a durability or quality assessment. We have not handled, washed, dried, hung, slept on or eaten off any product on this page. Thread counts, GSM figures, fibre compositions, dimensions, blackout claims and piece counts are the sellers' own listing claims, reported as claims and not verified by us. Where this page explains what a thread count or a GSM figure generally means, that is category reasoning of ours and is flagged as such. Sizes, colours, delivery charges, return windows and exchange eligibility should be confirmed on the product page before you order.
