AJIO Activewear August 2026: The Listings That Name a Spec

AJIO activewear August 2026 collage - the Nike Downshifter 14 road running shoe, the Puma front zip high impact sports bra, the Decathlon Kalenji Jogflow 100.1 cushioned running shoe and the PERFORMAX Fastdry Active track pants
Zoutons Picks — AJIO Activewear, August 2026

Impact level, cushioning, moisture control - the words that decide an activewear purchase appear on 8 per cent of the grid, and almost always with a small discount attached. Twenty-four picks, read for what the listing tells you.

Prices & codes last verified August 3, 2026

The short of it AJIO's own search grid, 395 activewear listings read on August 3. The Rs. 363 Amante bra is the cheapest listing that states high impact. Zero of 80 men's shoe listings name a performance property. The 93 per cent badge is attached to a print and a waistband. One track pant style code sells at three prices.

We ran six activewear queries against AJIO's own search API on August 3, 2026 - sports shoes men, running shoes women, track pants men, sweatshirt men, gym wear women and sports bra - two pages each, and kept every listing that came back with a price, a stated MRP above it and an image. That is 395 deduplicated rows. Then, instead of sorting them by price or by badge, we counted what the titles say, because the search grid is the page you actually shop from and the title is all it gives you. Thirty-three of the 395 name a performance property of any kind: an impact or support level, cushioning, moisture control, breathability, compression, stretch, seamless construction or a quick-dry finish. The other 362 are described by fit, neckline, rise, waistband, print and colour. The category splits are sharper than the total. Twenty of the 65 sports bras state a support or impact level, which makes bras easily the best-described rack here. Two of the 74 women's running shoes mention cushioning. Two of the 68 track pants name a finish. And zero of the 80 men's sports shoes and zero of the 40 sweatshirts say anything at all about what the product is supposed to do. Fourteen of the 33 that do say something are Decathlon listings. Then there is the part that changes how you should read a sale page: the 33 that state a spec have a median discount of 40 per cent, while the other 362 have a median of 60, and only three of the 33 are at 70 per cent off or more against 112 of the rest. The loudest badges in this aisle are attached to the quietest listings - seventeen RED TAPE shoe listings at 80 to 86 per cent off stated MRPs from Rs. 5,799 to Rs. 9,399, all selling between Rs. 812 and Rs. 1,488, and none of them naming a single running property. One honest limit before you go further: this is a count of what the grid shows, not of what exists on the product page, which we did not open 395 times. Our read on why the fabric line is the only thing worth reading on a clothing listing makes the same argument from the other end, our July read on AJIO's footwear badges covers how those percentages cluster by brand, and pricing the spec rather than the discount is the same method applied to appliances. Nothing here is a test result and we have not worn any of it.

Every price below was pulled from AJIO on August 3, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our AJIO coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

Rs. 616Rs. 72515% off

“Zero of the 80 men's sports shoe listings and zero of the 40 sweatshirt listings name a single performance property. The 33 listings in 395 that do are discounted at a median of 40 per cent, against 60 per cent for everything else.” Zoutons Editorial Team

Five rules for buying activewear off a grid this thin

First: decide what the garment has to do before you open the page, then filter by the word rather than the price. In sports bras that word is the impact level - low for yoga and walking, medium for cycling and gym work, high for running - and 20 of the 65 bra listings here print it. If the listing does not say, and you are buying to run in, that is a reason to keep scrolling rather than a reason to click. Second: read the badge as information about the MRP, not about the garment. Two tees on this page both sell at Rs. 349; one is presented as 13 per cent off Rs. 399 and the other as 65 per cent off Rs. 999. Same money, different theatre. Where a stated MRP is shared across a brand's whole range - Rs. 2,499 appearing on both an EYEBOGLER sweatshirt at Rs. 250 and an EYEBOGLER track pant at Rs. 175 - treat it as a reference figure and judge the selling price on its own. Third: a material is not a specification. Fifteen listings here say mesh upper, which running shoes at Rs. 800 and Rs. 8,000 both have. Low-top, round-toe, ribbed and racerback are shapes. None of them tells you how the thing performs. Fourth: when the grid is silent, buy the name you can research. A Rs. 4,406 Downshifter 14 tells you no more on this page than a Rs. 1,120 listing described as a mesh upper, but the model name leads somewhere and the description does not - the same model at four different prices shows why naming matters even within one brand. Fifth: check the colour variants before you add to cart. Three listings of one U.S. Polo Assn. style code sit at Rs. 879, Rs. 890 and Rs. 912 off the same Rs. 1,099, so the colour you pick changes the price by 33 rupees and the discount sort will not tell you. If you want to see what a spec-led buying page looks like when the retailer does publish the numbers, our read on screen size and panel type is the contrast.

What we skipped — and why

What we skipped, and why: 371 of the 395 listings. The single biggest block we left out is the rest of the RED TAPE shoe rack - sixteen further listings between Rs. 812 and Rs. 1,488, every one of them 80 to 86 per cent off a stated MRP between Rs. 5,799 and Rs. 9,399, and every one described as sports shoes with a mesh, knitted or PU upper. Seating more of them would have repeated the same card sixteen times, so we have described the pattern and seated two. The same reasoning applies to the deep-discount track pants rack: NEONOMAD has 18 listings and Buda Jeans Co has 12, all between Rs. 260 and Rs. 575 at 60 to 81 per cent off, all described by rise and waistband alone, and we seated none of them because a nineteenth mid-rise straight track pant adds no information. Campus has 26 shoe listings from Rs. 780 to Rs. 1,424 and ASIAN has 15 from Rs. 746 to Rs. 2,559, both racks priced sensibly and both silent on specification; we left them out for space rather than for any fault, and either is a reasonable place to shop at those prices. Among listings we would otherwise have seated: the Decathlon Kiprun Breathable Run 100 tee at Rs. 349, which is the twin of the moisture control one we did seat and differs only in which word it uses; the Decathlon Nyamba stretchable gym tee at Rs. 299, identical in price and claim to the Domyos one; the two further Decathlon Breast Support bras at Rs. 629 and Rs. 999 and the Kalenji moisture control running bra at Rs. 649, all of which make the same point as the two Decathlon bras we seated; the second PERFORMAX Fastdry track pant at Rs. 719, named on the Rs. 150 card instead; the two other U.S. Polo Assn. OELP6 listings at Rs. 890 and Rs. 912, described on the card rather than seated three times; and the Nike Revolution 8 at Rs. 3,866 and Quest 5 at Rs. 5,666, both at the same flat 10 per cent as the Downshifter we did seat. We also left out the other three Clovia medium-impact bras at Rs. 317, Rs. 507 and Rs. 540, the BLISSCLUB Power Up bra at Rs. 1,799, the Van Heusen Proactive compression bra at Rs. 909 and the Lyra sweat-absorbent bra at Rs. 307 - all spec-naming listings that would have made chapter one longer without making it clearer. No bundles were seated: the six multipack listings in the pull - a TOFTY pack of three bras at Rs. 400, a STYFUN pack of two at Rs. 228, a LUX VENUS pack of two at Rs. 391, a NEONOMAD pack of two track pants at Rs. 480 and two Indiclub packs of two at Rs. 525 - cannot be compared like for like against single garments. The CUMSIN seamless briefs at Rs. 66 are the cheapest spec-naming listing in the whole pull and we left them out because underwear is not activewear.

What we look for

We counted what the search grid says, not what the product page might

On August 3, 2026 we ran six activewear queries against AJIO's own search API - sports shoes men, running shoes women, track pants men, sweatshirt men, gym wear women and sports bra - two pages each, and kept every listing that returned a price, a stated MRP higher than that price, and an image. That gave 395 deduplicated rows. We then counted how many of those 395 titles name a performance property: an impact or support level, cushioning, moisture control, breathability, a quick-dry or Fastdry finish, compression, stretch, seamless construction or sweat absorbency. Thirty-three do. This is a count of the grid, which is the page a shopper actually browses and filters, and explicitly not a count of what is written on 395 individual product pages, which we did not open. A garment may well carry a fabric composition and a care label deeper in its listing. Our claim is narrower and, we think, more useful: before you click, the grid tells you almost nothing about how these clothes are supposed to work.

We did not count materials or shapes as specifications

Fifteen listings in the pull mention a mesh upper and we excluded all fifteen from the 33, because mesh is a material shared by running shoes at Rs. 800 and Rs. 8,000 and says nothing about what the shoe does. We applied the same rule throughout. Low-top, round-toe, knitted, lace-up, mid-rise, straight, flared, ribbed, cuffed, colourblock, racerback, full-coverage, non-wired, padded, crew-neck, oversized and regular fit are all shapes, constructions or fastenings - genuinely useful when you already know what you want, but not claims about performance. Cotton, where a title states it, is a fibre and we have flagged it as decision-relevant on the one card where it appears, without counting it in the 33. Reasonable people could draw this line in a slightly different place; drawing it anywhere sensible leaves the same picture, which is that zero of 80 men's shoe listings and zero of 40 sweatshirt listings say anything at all.

We checked the specifications against the badges, in both directions

The 33 spec-naming listings have a median discount of 40 per cent. The other 362 have a median of 60 per cent. Only three of the 33 are at 70 per cent off or more, against 112 of the 362. Decathlon accounts for 14 of the 33 and its deepest discount anywhere in the pull is 65 per cent, with most of its listings between 13 and 37 per cent. At the other end, 17 RED TAPE shoe listings sit at 80 to 86 per cent off stated MRPs ranging from Rs. 5,799 to Rs. 9,399, and all 17 sell between Rs. 812 and Rs. 1,488 - a spread of Rs. 676 in real prices under a spread of Rs. 3,600 in claimed ones. That correlation is what this page is built on, and it is a correlation and not a rule: the Rs. 363 Amante high-impact bra is 70 per cent off and states its spec clearly. We report the pattern in AJIO's feed on one day and make no claim about any brand's intent.

No ratings anywhere, no testing, and every claim attributed

AJIO's search response carries averageRating and ratingCount fields. Every one of the 395 rows we pulled returned null for both, so not a single pick on this page carries a rating pill and we have not imported a score from a marketplace or a review site to fill the gap. We have not worn, run in, washed or handled any garment or shoe on this page. Every performance word we quote - low support, high impact, cushioned, moisture control, breathable, stretchable, dry fit, Fastdry - is the brand's or the store's own listing wording, quoted and not endorsed, and none of them is a measured standard we can verify. Where we explain a category convention, such as the low, medium and high impact ladder in sports bras or why fabric weight decides a sweatshirt, that is general category understanding rather than a test result. Sizing, fit, durability, colour accuracy and return windows should all be confirmed on AJIO's own pages before you order.

FAQs

How do I choose a sports bra impact level on AJIO?

Look for the words in the title, because on this grid only 20 of the 65 sports bra listings print them. The category convention is a three-step ladder: low support or low impact for yoga, walking, stretching and weights; medium impact for cycling, hiking and general gym work; high impact for running, skipping and court sports, where both feet leave the ground. Getting the level wrong is the main thing people regret in this category, and it is not something price fixes - in our August 3, 2026 pull the cheapest listing stating high impact was an Amante cross-back at Rs. 363 and the dearest was a Puma front-zip at Rs. 1,250, and both state the same level. Decathlon, Clovia and Puma were the three brands most consistently printing a level; a great many listings, including one at 81 per cent off Rs. 1,599, state only a coverage style and a print. If the listing does not say, treat that as a reason to open the product page or move on. We have not worn any of these and AJIO returned no ratings, so nothing here is a judgement about how any of them fit.

Are the 80 to 90 per cent discounts on AJIO activewear real?

The arithmetic is real; whether the stated MRP is a price anyone pays is the question the badge cannot answer. In our August 3, 2026 pull, 17 RED TAPE shoe listings sat at 80 to 86 per cent off stated MRPs ranging from Rs. 5,799 to Rs. 9,399, and all 17 sold between Rs. 812 and Rs. 1,488. So the claimed list prices spread across Rs. 3,600 while the actual prices spread across Rs. 676. Separately, one EYEBOGLER sweatshirt selling at Rs. 250 and one EYEBOGLER track pant selling at Rs. 175 both carry the same stated MRP of Rs. 2,499. When one figure covers different garments at different prices, it is a reference point rather than a price. None of that makes the shoes or the track pants bad buys at Rs. 1,120 or Rs. 175 - they may be perfectly good value at those prices. It means the honest question is whether the selling price is worth it to you, not how big the percentage is. We are describing what is in AJIO's own feed and alleging nothing about any brand's intent.

Which AJIO activewear listings actually tell you what the fabric does?

Very few, and they cluster. Of 395 activewear listings read on August 3, 2026, 33 named a performance property - an impact or support level, cushioning, moisture control, breathability, compression, stretch, seamless construction, sweat absorbency or a quick-dry finish. Fourteen of those 33 were Decathlon listings, and 20 of the 33 were sports bras. By category the counts were: 20 of 65 sports bras, 9 of 68 gym-wear listings, 2 of 74 women's running shoes, 2 of 68 men's track pants, 0 of 80 men's sports shoes and 0 of 40 sweatshirts. That is a count of the search grid, which is the page you browse and filter on, and not of the individual product pages, which we did not open - a garment may carry a fabric composition deeper in its listing. If knowing what you are buying before you click matters to you, the practical answer on this grid is Decathlon in most categories and Decathlon, Clovia or Puma in bras.

Is it worth paying Rs. 4,406 for a Nike shoe on AJIO instead of Rs. 1,120?

Not on anything the listings tell you, which is the honest answer. Neither the Rs. 4,406 Nike Downshifter 14 nor the Rs. 1,120 RED TAPE listing in our August 3, 2026 pull names a single performance property - no cushioning, no drop, no weight, no support. What the Nike listing gives you that the other does not is a model name. Downshifter 14 is documented by the manufacturer and reviewed independently, so you can go and find out what it is; a listing described as sports shoes with a mesh upper leads nowhere. For many buyers there is also a fit they already know, which is a legitimate reason to spend more. What we will not do is tell you the expensive shoe performs better, because we have not run in either, because AJIO returned no ratings or review counts on any of the 395 listings, and because a search feed cannot establish that. If Rs. 1,120 is your budget for a walking or gym shoe, several listings in that band exist and buying one is a reasonable decision.

Does AJIO show star ratings on activewear products?

Not in the search response we read. AJIO's search API returns averageRating and ratingCount fields for each product, and on August 3, 2026 every one of the 395 activewear listings we pulled returned null for both. That is why no pick on this page carries a rating pill, and we have deliberately not imported a star score from a marketplace listing of the same product to fill the gap, because a rating attached to a different seller's listing is not a rating of this one. Ratings may appear elsewhere on AJIO's site or on individual product pages; we are reporting only what the search response we used returned. The practical consequence is that everything on this page is about price, stated MRP and the words in the listing title, and nothing on it is about how these clothes fit, wash, wear or perform - we have not worn or handled any of them. Fit, fabric hand, colourfastness and durability are exactly what a price feed cannot tell you.

More AJIO coverage on Zoutons

How Zoutons picks deals Zoutons may earn a commission when you buy through links on this page. Every price, stated MRP and discount percentage here was read from AJIO's own search API at ajio.com on August 3, 2026, and all of them can change without notice. The pull ran six queries - sports shoes men, running shoes women, track pants men, sweatshirt men, gym wear women and sports bra - across two pages each, and kept only listings returning a price, a stated MRP higher than that price and an image, which yielded 395 deduplicated rows; the 24 seated here are all single garments or pairs of shoes rather than multipacks, and the price shown is the one the search response returned for that listing on that day. Our central count - that 33 of the 395 titles name a performance property - is a count of the words in the search grid's titles and nothing more. We did not open 395 product pages, so we cannot and do not claim that these garments have no published fabric composition or specification anywhere; our claim is only about what is visible before you click, which is the information a shopper is actually filtering on. The line between a specification and a description is one we drew deliberately and have stated in full in the methodology above: we counted impact and support levels, cushioning, moisture control, breathability, compression, stretch, seamless construction, sweat absorbency and quick-dry or Fastdry finishes, and we did not count materials such as mesh, shapes such as low-top or mid-rise, constructions such as non-wired or padded, or fits and necklines. Drawn slightly differently, the totals would move by a handful; the category-level zeroes would not. AJIO's search response carries averageRating and ratingCount fields and every one of the 395 rows returned null for both, so no pick here carries a rating pill and we have not substituted a score from any other source. We have not worn, run in, trained in, washed or handled any product on this page. Every performance word quoted - low support, breast support, medium impact, high impact, cushioned, moisture control, breathable, stretchable, dry fit, Fastdry - is the brand's or the store's own listing wording, reported and not endorsed; none is a measured or certified standard as far as we can establish, and dry fit and Fastdry in particular are generic marketing phrases in Indian activewear rather than defined specifications. Statements about category convention, such as the low-medium-high impact ladder in sports bras or the role of fabric weight in a sweatshirt, reflect general category understanding rather than testing. Observations about MRPs shared across listings, and about seventeen RED TAPE listings selling between Rs. 812 and Rs. 1,488 off stated MRPs between Rs. 5,799 and Rs. 9,399, describe what is in the feed and allege nothing about any brand's intent. Sizing, fit, fabric composition, wash care, warranty and return windows should be confirmed on AJIO's own product pages before you order. Nothing here is medical, orthopaedic or training advice.
