Only 163 of the 376 kitchen listings we read carried a rating with a review count. We built the page out of those, and ordered it the way you would actually buy - cooker, pans, appliances, storage.
We pulled Tata CLiQ's own marketplace search on August 3, 2026 across six kitchen queries and got 376 in-stock listings, each with a price, a stated MRP and an image. The first useful thing that pull told us had nothing to do with prices: only 163 of those 376 listings displayed a customer rating with the number of reviews behind it. The rest showed nothing, or a star figure with no count, which is not a rating anyone should act on. So we made that the filter. Every pick on this page comes from the 163, every card quotes the score and the count together, and where the count is three or five people we say so on the card instead of letting a 5.0 sit there looking authoritative. The largest count in the entire read is 332, on a Rs. 699 electric kettle; the next largest is 54; the median across the 163 is three. That is the review culture on this platform, and it is worth knowing before you treat any number on it as a verdict. The rest of the page is ordered the way you would genuinely furnish a kitchen rather than by discount, because discount here mostly describes a brand's pricing habit - Borosil's 38 listings sat at a median 5% off, Wonderchef's 18 at 37.5%, and both sell kettles that boil water. So: the pressure cooker first, where the whole decision is capacity; then the tawa, the kadai and the fry pan that between them cook almost everything a household eats; then the appliances in the order they earn their counter space; then the storage, drainage and carry kit nobody writes down. Our earlier read on which Tata CLiQ listings publish a review count at all covers that gap across the wider catalogue, and the same categories at Reliance Digital is the useful comparison if you are shopping large appliances rather than pans.
Every price below was pulled from Tata CLiQ on August 3, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Tata CLiQ coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

From a Rs. 149 gas lighter to a Rs. 5,330 oven. The kettle is the one to buy first, the chopper question is Rs. 275 against Rs. 2,369, and the rice cooker only makes sense if rice is a daily event.
Rs. 699, and 332 people have rated it - eight times more than anything else in the read.

First: buy the pressure cooker by capacity and stop worrying about the brand. Two litres is one or two people, three litres is the standard household, six and a half is a joint family, and every cooker in this read from every brand does the same physics. The only construction decision that genuinely changes what you can cook is triply against aluminium, and that one matters only if your hob is induction - plain aluminium will not work on induction at all. Second: read the review count before the review score. On this platform a 5.0 usually means three people and a 3.9 can mean three hundred and thirty-two, and the second number is worth far more than the first. Six of the 163 rated listings we read had 25 reviews or more; 31 had ten or more; the median was three. Treat anything under about ten as a signal that the product exists and has shipped, not as a verdict on it. Third: check the brand's normal discount before you treat a badge as an event. Borosil ran 3% to 10% across 38 listings, Hawkins 2% to 13% across 21, Prestige 15% to 57% across 72, Wonderchef 7% to 67% across 18. A 10% Borosil badge is the best that brand offers; a 20% Prestige badge is Tuesday. Fourth: count the coating. Every non-stick pan on this page is a consumable with a life of a few years, and it dies of metal spatulas, scouring pads and being heated empty. Cast iron has no coating to lose but needs oiling after every wash. Pick the one that matches how you will actually treat it. If you are comparing across retailers, our read on mixer-grinders at Reliance Digital covers the appliance this page deliberately leaves out.

We read 376 in-stock Tata CLiQ kitchen listings on August 3, 2026, each with a price, a stated MRP and an image. Exactly 163 of them displayed both a customer rating and the number of reviews behind it; the other 213 showed neither. Every one of the 23 picks on this page comes from that 163, and every rating pill you see quotes the score and the count together. We have not imported a score from Amazon, Flipkart or a review site to fill a gap, and where a count is small - three reviews, five reviews - we say so on the card rather than letting the number stand unqualified.
This page is ordered the way you would actually furnish a kitchen: the pressure cooker, then the pans you use daily, then the appliances that buy back time, then storage and carry. Within each chapter we compared like with like - 2 L against 3 L, cast iron against non-stick, a Rs. 275 hand chopper against a Rs. 2,369 electric one - and said which we would buy and why. Where a pick is genuinely optional, such as the rectangular egg pan, we have said outright that most people should skip it.
Discount percentages on this platform describe a brand's pricing habit more than they describe an opportunity, and we checked each one against the brand's own spread in our read before writing about it. Across 376 listings: Borosil's 38 products ran 3% to 10% with a median of 5%. Hawkins's 21 ran 2% to 13%, median 12%. Prestige's 72 ran 15% to 57%, median 20%. Bergner's 35 ran 5% to 53%, median 20%. Wonderchef's 18 ran 7% to 67%, median 37.5%. So a 10% badge on a Borosil pan is the top of that brand's range and a 20% badge on a Prestige pan is its ordinary rate. We report those spreads as arithmetic on what we read and allege nothing about how any seller sets prices.
Nothing on this page has been used, tested or unboxed by us. What we can establish from a listing is the price, the stated MRP, the discount, the rating and the count, the capacity and the stated construction. What we describe beyond that - what triply means and why induction needs it, why cast iron needs seasoning, why a coated tawa dies of a metal spatula, what a piezoelectric igniter is - is general category understanding, and we have labelled it as such rather than dressing it as testing. Fit for your kitchen, real-world durability and after-sales service are not things a product feed can tell you, and review counts in the single digits cannot settle them either.
Capacity is the decision, and it is the one people most often get wrong by buying small. A cooker should only be filled to about two-thirds, so a 2 L body holds a little over a litre of food - that is a one-or-two-person cooker. Three litres is the standard Indian household size and handles dal and rice for three or four; in our August 3, 2026 read the 3 L Prestige Popular Svachh was Rs. 1,950 against Rs. 1,715 for the 2 L, so half again the capacity for Rs. 235. Six and a half litres, like the Hawkins Contura at Rs. 3,010, is a joint-family or batch-cooking size and is slower to reach pressure, so do not buy it unless you regularly cook for six or more. If you are buying one cooker and only one, buy the 3 L.
Only if you cook on induction, in which case you have no choice - plain aluminium and hard-anodised aluminium will not work on an induction hob at all, because there is nothing magnetic for the coil to grip. Triply means three bonded layers, stainless steel inside, aluminium in the middle, magnetic steel outside; the aluminium core spreads heat sideways so you do not get the burnt ring a bare steel cooker develops on a gas flame. On gas it is a nice-to-have rather than a need. It also costs more and weighs more: in our read the 1.5 L Prestige Svachh Triply was Rs. 2,625 against Rs. 1,715 for the 2 L hard-anodised Popular, so you pay Rs. 910 more for a smaller cooker. The 3.5 L Bergner Trimax triply was Rs. 3,749.
Buy cast iron only if you will maintain it. A seasoned iron tawa releases a dosa as well as any coating, has no coating to scratch off and lasts a lifetime, and The Indus Valley 27 cm was Rs. 659 in our August 3 read - the cheapest pan we found. But it is heavy, it rusts if left wet, it needs oiling after every wash and it takes minutes longer to heat. Non-stick works from the first dosa and asks nothing of you, but it is a consumable: metal spatulas, scouring pads and heating it empty will kill it, and a coated pan lasts a few years rather than forever. The Prestige Omega Deluxe dosa tawa at Rs. 1,505 carried 43 reviews at 4.2 - the largest review count of any pan in our read - and the hard-anodised 29 cm Omni Tawa at Rs. 1,530 carried 4.9 across 14.
They are real customer ratings, but the samples behind them are usually very small and you should read the count before the score. Of the 376 kitchen listings we read on August 3, 2026, only 163 displayed a rating together with the number of reviews behind it; the other 213 showed neither, or a star figure with no count. Across those 163 the median review count was three. Thirty-one listings had ten reviews or more and only six had twenty-five or more. The largest count in the whole read was 332, on the Prestige PKOSS electric kettle, rated 3.9 - and that 3.9 is a far more meaningful number than any of the 5.0 scores on this page, every one of which rests on three or four reviews. Treat a small count as evidence the product has shipped, not as a verdict on how it lasts.
Four things cover nearly everything, and on the prices we read on August 3, 2026 they come to about Rs. 5,600. A 3 L pressure cooker for dal, rice and pulses - the Prestige Popular Svachh was Rs. 1,950. A tawa for rotis and dosas - the 29 cm hard-anodised Prestige Omni Tawa was Rs. 1,530, or Rs. 659 for The Indus Valley cast iron if you will look after it. A kadai with a lid for sabzi and shallow frying - Rs. 1,935 for the 24 cm Prestige, and check that the lid is included because they are often sold separately. And a gas lighter, at Rs. 149. After that the highest-return addition is an electric kettle, from Rs. 639 for the steel-bodied Wonderchef Acura, because it frees a burner during the busiest part of the evening. Everything else on this page is an upgrade or a convenience.
