Across 131 Reliance Digital kitchen listings the discount tracks how little you have heard of the brand — and the mixer shelf proves it.
We read 131 in-stock kitchen listings from Reliance Digital's own product pages on July 30, 2026 — mixer grinders, induction cooktops, electric kettles, air fryers, dishwashers, chimneys, gas stoves, rice cookers, food processors, refrigerators and washing machines — and then grouped them by brand rather than by discount. The badge sorted itself into a ladder. Median discount by brand: Philips 18%, Samsung 20%, LG 22%, Prestige 27%, Panasonic 29%, Butterfly 31%, Agaro 32%, Havells 35%, Bajaj 38%, Kelvinator 42%, Wonderchef 50%, Kutchina 51%, and Fabiano 65%. Read that list twice: it is very close to a ranking of how likely you are to have heard of the name, in reverse. Then the mixer grinder shelf handed us something better than a correlation — a control experiment. Seven machines in our read do exactly one job, which is turning a motor to chop and grind, and they cost Rs. 8,459, Rs. 6,849, Rs. 5,449, Rs. 2,399, Rs. 1,499, Rs. 1,199 and Rs. 1,329. Their badges, in that same order, are 15%, 24%, 38%, 54%, 62%, 71% and 78%. The percentage is close to a straight inverse of the price across a single product category on a single day. The sharpest pair sits at the bottom: the 78%-badged machine costs Rs. 130 more than the 71%-badged one while offering 100 fewer watts and one fewer jar, so every specification either listing states is worse and the percentage is seven points larger. Divide by watts and the ladder inverts again — Rs. 2.40 a watt at the cheap end against Rs. 11.30 at the dear end — which is why our pick of the seven is neither the biggest badge nor the best ratio, but a Rs. 2,399 machine from a brand whose spare jars will still exist in five years. The kettle shelf lets you verify the whole thing for Rs. 549. And one warning for anyone scanning a results page: this aisle returned three Rs. 7,990 decorative refrigerator door panels, off a stated MRP of exactly Rs. 10,000, alongside actual appliances. Our Reliance Digital electronics codes and cashback guide cover the levers that move a big-brand price.
Every price below was pulled from Reliance Digital on July 30, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Reliance Digital coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

Four rules follow from a shelf where the discount sorts by how little you have heard of the name. First: never compare badges across brands. A 13% Samsung and a 78% Fabiano are distances from two entirely different kinds of stated MRP, and the Rs. 18,500 actually taken off a washing machine in our read dwarfs 78% of a Rs. 5,999 claim. Compare rupees, and compare within a brand tier. Second: divide by the specification the listing gives you. Rupees per watt separated our seven mixers cleanly — Rs. 2.40 at the cheap end, Rs. 11.30 at the dear end, and a 1,000 W machine at Rs. 6.85 beating a 750 W one that cost Rs. 1,610 more. On kettles use capacity, wattage and body material; on chimneys, width. Third: on anything with a motor or a heating element, weigh the service network as part of the price. Our pick of the mixers was not the best arithmetic on the page — it was Rs. 1,200 dearer than the best arithmetic, from a brand whose spares will exist in five years. That is a judgement we make explicitly rather than hiding it inside a rating. Fourth: read the product name before the price. This aisle returned Rs. 7,990 cosmetic refrigerator door panels among the appliances, at a suspiciously round Rs. 10,000 MRP, and they cost more than three of the seven mixer grinders on this page while doing nothing at all. Our Reliance Digital coupon page tracks live codes, and our Rs. 500-off guide and washing machine offers page cover the discounts that never show as a percentage.

Every price and stated MRP here comes from reliancedigital.in's own product listings on July 30, 2026 — 131 in-stock listings across mixer grinders, induction cooktops, electric kettles, air fryers, dishwashers, chimneys, gas stoves, rice cookers, food processors, refrigerators and washing machines. We picked this aisle because it contains several categories where the same job is done by products at ten times the price difference, which makes internal comparison possible.
Median discount by brand across our read: Philips 18% (nine listings, range 8-41%), Samsung 20% (six, 13-26%), LG 22% (eight, 13-32%), Prestige 27% (seven), Panasonic 29% (four), Butterfly 31% (seven), Agaro 32% (seven), Havells 35% (six), Bajaj 38% (nine), Kelvinator 42% (seven), Wonderchef 50% (six), Kutchina 51% (five), Fabiano 65% (four, range 56-78%). The relationship between brand recognition and badge size runs one way with very few exceptions.
Seven mixer grinders, one function, one retailer, one day. Rs. 8,459 at 15% off, Rs. 6,849 at 24%, Rs. 5,449 at 38%, Rs. 2,399 at 54%, Rs. 1,499 at 62%, Rs. 1,199 at 71%, Rs. 1,329 at 78%. The badge is close to a straight inverse of the price. Most usefully, the last two: the Rs. 1,329 machine has a bigger badge than the Rs. 1,199 one while offering 100 fewer watts and one fewer jar, so on every checkable specification it is worse and its percentage is larger.
Where listings state power we used it: Rs. 2.40 a watt for the cheapest mixer against Rs. 11.30 for the dearest, and the 1,000 W Bajaj at Rs. 6.85 beating the 750 W Philips despite costing Rs. 1,610 less. On kettles we compared capacity, wattage, body material and stated safety features instead, because those are the facts available. Separately: Reliance Digital's listings returned no rating and no review count for any of the 131 items we read, so there are no rating pills anywhere on this page. Prices read July 30, 2026.
On the balance of arithmetic and service, the Bajaj GX20 at Rs. 2,399 — 500 watts, three jars, Rs. 4.80 a watt, and a brand whose spare jars will still be available in five years. The best pure arithmetic in our July 30 read was a Fabiano at Rs. 1,199, which matches it on watts and jars for half the money and states a two-year warranty; we did not pick it because on an appliance with a motor, who will service it in year three matters, and that is not something we can verify from a listing. The deepest badge, 78%, was on a machine with fewer watts, fewer jars and a higher price than the 71% one.
On this shelf the discount tracks the brand rather than the appliance. Median badges across our read ran Philips 18%, Samsung 20% and LG 22% at one end, and Wonderchef 50%, Kutchina 51% and Fabiano 65% at the other. The mixer grinder shelf shows it inside one category: seven machines doing the same job at Rs. 8,459 down to Rs. 1,199, with badges climbing 15%, 24%, 38%, 54%, 62% and 71% as the price falls. A percentage is a ratio to a stated MRP, so comparing badges across brand tiers compares two different kinds of claim.
Our read gives you the cleanest possible version of that question. A Philips air fryer offered 6.2 litres and 1,700 watts at Rs. 10,999 with an 8% badge — the smallest discount in all 131 listings. A Wonderchef offered 6.5 litres and 1,600 watts at Rs. 5,699 with a 43% badge. On the specifications either listing states, they are the same appliance for a Rs. 5,300 difference. What the extra money buys is basket coating, heating consistency and a service network, none of which we can test from a listing — so we would call it a genuine judgement rather than an obvious answer, and note that the badges play no part in it.
The Butterfly at Rs. 588, thirty-nine rupees above the cheapest kettle in our picks. It states dry-boil protection, which cuts the element if the kettle is switched on empty and is the most common way a cheap kettle dies, and it runs at 1,500 watts rather than 1,000. For a stainless steel body instead, the Agaro at Rs. 649 shares the identical stated MRP of Rs. 1,299 at Rs. 61 more. Worth noting from the same shelf: a Rs. 719 kettle carried a 64% badge while holding a third less water and running 500 watts slower than the Rs. 588 one.
We noticed the same thing and can only report it rather than explain it. Three Kelvinator dishwashers in our read carried stated MRPs of Rs. 24,881, Rs. 39,631 and Rs. 47,006 — figures nobody chooses by hand, and which look more like a landed cost or a currency conversion carried through a margin formula. At the other extreme, three Samsung refrigerator door panels carried an MRP of exactly Rs. 10,000. Both patterns are a reminder that the MRP is a field on a listing rather than a verified fact, which is why we lead every spec strip on this page with the price you actually pay.
