We read all 103 offer lines on MakeMyTrip's own offers page on 26 October 2026 and looked at the one thing a shopper actually needs: how long each offer has left.
Sixty-nine of them print a date and none of the 69 prints a year. Twenty-nine print no validity at all, and five run on a countdown clock. Here is what the dates cluster on, which offers are genuinely closing, and the 14 codes the page publishes.
📅 Update log:
26 Oct 2026: first published. Every offer line, date, code and count on this page was captured from makemytrip.com/offers/ on 26 October 2026, rendered headless, logged out, from India, in a single read. Nothing was booked, no code was applied at checkout and no cap or eligibility rule was tested. Countdown figures were the values displayed at the moment of the read and will differ at any other time.
MakeMyTrip's offers page is one of the busiest in Indian travel - we counted 103 separate offer lines on it on 26 October 2026, each with whatever validity text the site attaches to it. We read the dates rather than the percentages.
Sixty-nine of those lines carry an expiry date, and not one of the 69 states a year. They say "Expires on 31 Oct", "Expires on 30 Dec", "Expires on 31 Mar". One says "Expires on 30 Sep" - which, read on 26 October, is either four weeks ago or eleven months away.
What the 103 offer lines actually tell you about timing
| What the validity text says | Offer lines | Example | What you can conclude |
|---|
| A date with no year | 69 | "Expires on 31 Oct" | Ambiguous by up to a year |
| No validity text at all | 29 | — | Unknown — could end tonight or run indefinitely |
| An hours-and-minutes countdown | 5 | "Expires in 08h:52m" | Precise, but only for today |
| A stated year (e.g. "31 Dec 2026") | 0 | — | Not used anywhere on the page |
This is a formatting choice, not an error, and it is worth understanding rather than being annoyed by. A bare "31 Oct" works perfectly well for an offer that genuinely ends this month - it reads as urgent and it is. The difficulty is that the same format is used for "31 Mar", which is five months away if it means 2027 and seven months gone if it means 2026, and for "30 Sep", which cannot mean a future date this year at all. Nothing here suggests any offer is being misrepresented - only that the date alone does not let you tell a closing offer from a standing one.
The dates cluster on four days, and two of them are month-ends
Spread across 69 dated lines you might expect 69 different deadlines. In practice 51 of them land on just four days, and three of those four are the last day of a month.
| Date printed | Offers | What sits on it | Time left, read 26 Oct 2026 |
|---|
| 30 Dec | 17 | bus codes, cabs, forex, IndiGo, holidays | about 2 months, if 2026 |
| 31 Oct | 16 | EMI offers, Lufthansa, jüSTa, Sinclairs, business class, train cancellation | 5 days, if 2026 |
| 31 Dec | 11 | FlixBus, Primo Bus, MEGABUS, MMTBLACK, VISAINFINITE, meals | about 2 months, if 2026 |
| 30 Nov | 7 | Oyo stays, ibis, tours and attractions, packages | about 1 month, if 2026 |
| 31 Mar | 4 | VISASIGNATURE, festive getaways, a 20% flights-and-hotels line | 5 months, if 2027 — 7 months ago, if 2026 |
| 30 Oct | 3 | the Jazeera Airways anniversary sale at a flat 21% off fares | 4 days, if 2026 |
| 12 Nov | 2 | the EVA Air sale, up to 15% off select destinations | about 2 weeks, if 2026 |
| 30 Sep | 1 | a "Get Flat 50% OFF*" line | 26 days ago, if 2026 |
| Nine other single dates | 8 | 27 Oct, 28 Oct, 1 Nov, 2 Nov, 5 Nov, 8 Nov, 10 Nov, 29 Dec | days to weeks, if 2026 |
The practical reading: "31 Oct" is the only cluster that is genuinely close. Sixteen offers carry it, including the interest-free-EMI stay deals, the Lufthansa sale at up to 10% off, the flat 8% international flights line, business-class fares at flat 10% off and the free train-ticket-cancellation offer for Diwali trips. The 30 Dec and 31 Dec clusters - 28 offers between them - are two months out and include every one of the regional bus codes, so there is no reason to rush a bus booking on deadline grounds.
Five offers run on a countdown instead of a date
A small set of offers - five when we read the page - replace the date with a live clock. All five showed "Expires in 08h:52m" at the same moment, which puts them on a same-midnight deadline rather than a date at all. Three of the five are ICICI Bank card offers (FLYMON, ICICILUXURY, ICICILUXURYINT); the others were an "EPIC Deals" line at up to 15% off and an Air Astana free-baggage sale.
These are the ones where timing genuinely matters, and they are also the ones a screenshot or a saved page is useless for. If you are working from a countdown offer, the clock on the live page is the only version of it that is true.
The 14 named codes, and how long each is dated for
Most of MakeMyTrip's offers are applied automatically or through a bank card. A minority publish an actual code you type. We captured 14 of them on 26 October 2026, and the long-dated ones are overwhelmingly bus codes.
| Code | What the line says it is for | Date printed |
|---|
| MMTNORTH | Buses from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and more | 30 Dec |
| MMTSOUTH | Buses from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and more | 30 Dec |
| MMTEAST | Buses from Kolkata, Bihar and more | 30 Dec |
| MMTWEST | Buses from Gujarat, Maharashtra and more | 30 Dec |
| MEGABUS | Bus bookings | 31 Dec |
| MMTBLACK | Bus tickets, for MMTBLACK members | 31 Dec |
| INTRCITY | IntrCity buses | 30 Dec |
| RTCNEW | Flat 10% off road transport corporation buses | 31 Dec |
| FLIX15 | Flat 15% off FlixBus bookings | 31 Dec |
| PRIMODAY | Flat 10% off Primo bus bookings | 31 Dec |
| VISAINFINITE | Flat 15% off 5-star hotels | 31 Dec |
| VISASIGNATURE | Benefits on domestic flights | 31 Mar |
| MMTSPECIAL | Up to 20% off tours and attractions | 30 Nov |
| FLYMON / ICICILUXURY / ICICILUXURYINT | ICICI Bank credit card and credit card EMI offers | a countdown, not a date |
Reading this page without being caught out
One: treat a bare date as a soft signal, not a deadline. Of 103 offer lines, 69 give a day and month with no year and 29 give nothing at all. Two: the countdown offers are the real deadlines - five of them, all on the same clock, all card-linked or airline sales.
Three: check the terms inside the booking flow, not on the offers page. Caps, minimum fares, card eligibility and route restrictions sit there, and they are what decides whether a "35% OFF*" line is worth anything on your particular trip - every one of those headline figures on this page carries an asterisk. Four: nothing on this page was booked, so we are describing what MakeMyTrip publishes, not what any cart does.
Frequently Asked Questions
When do MakeMyTrip offers expire?
Of 103 offer lines read from makemytrip.com/offers/ on 26 October 2026, 69 carried an expiry date, 29 carried no validity text at all and 5 carried an hours-and-minutes countdown. The dates cluster heavily: 16 offers are dated 31 Oct, 17 are dated 30 Dec, 11 are dated 31 Dec and 7 are dated 30 Nov. Those four days hold 51 of the 69 dated offers.
Why do MakeMyTrip offers not show the year they expire?
We do not know why, and this page does not speculate - we are reporting what the page prints. None of the 69 dated offer lines in this read states a year. The practical consequence is that a line reading "Expires on 31 Mar" could be five months away or seven months past, and one reading "Expires on 30 Sep" cannot be a future 2026 date at all. The terms inside the booking flow are the ones that apply.
Which MakeMyTrip offers end soonest?
The five on a live countdown - all showing "Expires in 08h:52m" when we read the page on 26 October 2026 - which are three ICICI Bank card offers (FLYMON, ICICILUXURY, ICICILUXURYINT), an "EPIC Deals" line at up to 15% off and an Air Astana free-baggage sale. After those, the 16 offers dated 31 Oct.
What MakeMyTrip coupon codes are live in October 2026?
Fourteen named codes appeared in this read. The bus codes are the longest-dated: MMTNORTH, MMTSOUTH, MMTEAST and MMTWEST (regional buses, dated 30 Dec), MEGABUS, MMTBLACK, INTRCITY, RTCNEW, FLIX15 and PRIMODAY (dated 31 Dec). Also VISAINFINITE (flat 15% off 5-star hotels, 31 Dec), VISASIGNATURE (31 Mar) and MMTSPECIAL (tours and attractions, 30 Nov). Every headline on the page carries an asterisk - check the cap in your cart.
Is a MakeMyTrip offer with no expiry date still valid?
Twenty-nine of the 103 lines in this read carried no validity text at all, and the page gives no way to tell whether those are standing offers or ones whose dates have simply not been published. We report the absence as an absence and draw no conclusion from it. The only reliable check is the offer's own terms as they appear in the booking flow.
Prices & codes last verified: October 26, 2026
Every offer line, expiry date, countdown value, coupon code and count on this page was captured from makemytrip.com/offers/ on 26 October 2026, rendered in a headless browser, logged out, from India, in a single read. Nothing was booked, no code was applied at checkout, no fare was quoted and no eligibility rule, cap or minimum spend was tested, so nothing here describes how any offer behaves in a live booking. Where a date is printed without a year we say so and do not guess which year is meant; the "time left" column states our own arithmetic on the assumption of 2026 and is explicitly conditional. Nothing on this page asserts that any offer is expired, invalid or misrepresented, and nothing alleges wrongdoing by MakeMyTrip or by any airline, hotel, bus operator or bank named; publishing dates without years, running countdown promotions and attaching asterisked headline percentages are ordinary commercial practice, reported here as published fact. Every percentage quoted is the page's own headline figure and almost all carry an asterisk pointing to terms we have not reproduced. Offers are added, withdrawn and repriced without notice, and the offers page is personalised in ways a logged-out read cannot see - the terms shown in your own booking flow are the ones that apply. Nothing here is travel or financial advice. Zoutons may earn a commission on bookings made through links on this page; this does not affect what is written above.
