Flipkart shows one review pool across the variants of a parent product. On this shelf that pool stretches from a Rs. 1,289 bag to a Rs. 3,836 one - and the stars beside the expensive one were largely earned somewhere else.
We read Flipkart's own sleeping-bag results on 5 November 2026 and seated 26 tiles. Eight of them display exactly the same star average from exactly the same rating count - 4.1 from 1,777 - which is Flipkart showing one shared review pool across variants of a parent product. Those eight bags sell from Rs. 1,289 to Rs. 3,836. The stars beside the dearest one were, on the published evidence, largely earned by buyers of something else.

Flipkart runs card and coupon offers that change by day, card and basket, and this read was made logged out, so no bank discount is included in any price here. Check the rating count against the tiles around it - an identical count means a shared pool, and the average is not about that variant. Compare rupees, not badges, because two tiles of one bag can state different MRPs: on this shelf the shallowest badge sits on the better price twice. Check whether several tiles are the same bag, which is true of at least 19 of these 26. Treat a stated temperature rating as the listing's claim, not a tested figure - and for genuine cold, prefer a listing that publishes separate comfort and extreme numbers. And read the seller name and return window off the live listing, neither of which is in any price above.

Each selling price, stated MRP, discount badge, star average and rating count on this page was read from flipkart.com's own search results for "sleeping bag" on 5 November 2026, logged out, from India, with nothing bought. The read returned 121 tiles across two queries; 26 sleeping bags are seated here, chosen to span the price range and to include every listing involved in the shared-rating and shared-name findings. Every median, range, multiple and count quoted is computed over those 26 unless the text says otherwise.
Five tiles share one product name, eight share one rating count of 1,777, six share one of 7,925, three share one of 795 and two share one of 788. We seated all of them rather than collapsing them, because the prices they carry are the finding - and because they are what you actually scroll past. Nothing was seated for being a good buy or dropped for being a bad one.
Where this page says eight listings show exactly 1,777 ratings, that is Flipkart displaying one review pool across variants of a parent product - ordinary marketplace behaviour, not a defect and not an allegation. What it does mean for a shopper is that the star average beside a Rs. 3,836 bag can be earned mostly by a Rs. 1,289 one, so the rating is not evidence about the specific tile you are looking at. We make no claim that any two listings are the same physical product; sellers, inclusions and packaging may differ and none of that is published on the tile.
Every "-10 Degree", "-5°C", "8°C to 20°C" and "-22°C" on this page is copied from the listing title. We have not slept in, packed, weighed or temperature-tested anything, and sleeping-bag comfort ratings are not standardised across Indian sellers. This matters more than it does on most shelves: a bag that under-performs its stated rating is a cold-weather safety problem, and a price page cannot tell you which bags do. If you are buying for genuine cold, treat a single stated number with caution - note that the two Coleman tiles publish separate extreme and comfort figures where most of this shelf publishes one number.
One seated listing (pick 13) has the words "RATED NO 1" printed onto its own product photograph, with no source, publication, period or basis given anywhere in the listing. We reproduce the seller's image because it is the image the shelf shows, and we say plainly that we are not repeating or endorsing the claim. Two Coleman tiles similarly carry a "Guarantee a Good Night Sleep" strapline baked into their photographs. Nothing on a product photograph is treated as evidence on this page.
Where this page says one product name carries five stated MRPs from Rs. 4,099 to Rs. 4,999, those are figures Flipkart's listings published. Setting a reference price above the selling price is an ordinary retail practice, and nothing here alleges wrongdoing by Flipkart, by any seller or by any brand named. No stated MRP on this page is asserted to be false. The useful observation is narrower: when two tiles of one product state different reference prices, their badges cannot be compared with each other.
Across 26 sleeping-bag tiles read on 5 November 2026 from Flipkart's own search results, prices ran from Rs. 669 to Rs. 5,839 with a median of Rs. 1,405. Light indoor and summer bags rated 8°C to 25°C by their own listings cluster around Rs. 669 to Rs. 1,350; bags stating -5°C to 0°C run roughly Rs. 1,019 to Rs. 1,725; fur-lined bags stating -10°C sit at Rs. 2,089 to Rs. 3,836; and the two Coleman tiles are Rs. 4,600 and Rs. 5,839. Badges run 10% to 72%, which means the stated reference price ranges from 1.11x to 3.61x the selling price. Prices change constantly - check the live listing.
Because Flipkart shows one shared review pool across variants of a parent product. In this read, eight listings display exactly 4.1 stars from exactly 1,777 ratings, and a separate six Rocksport listings display 4.1 from exactly 7,925. Two more pools cover three tiles (795 ratings) and two tiles (788). This is ordinary marketplace behaviour and implies nothing improper. What it means for you is that the star rating beside a Rs. 3,836 bag can have been earned mostly by buyers of a Rs. 1,289 one, because those eight tiles span Rs. 1,289 to Rs. 3,836 on a single pool. Read the reviews themselves rather than the average, and check which variant the reviewer actually bought.
Not on this shelf, and two pairs here prove it. The RHINOKraft HOLDALL canvas bag in Light Green is Rs. 906 and badged 24%; the same bag in Dark Green, on the same rating pool, is Rs. 896 - ten rupees cheaper - and badged 10%. The Rocksport Camplite in Army Green is Rs. 1,049 badged 54%, while the Grey Camplite is Rs. 1,019 badged 43%. In both cases the cheaper bag shows the shallower badge, because the two listings state different reference prices. A badge measures the gap to a stated MRP, not the gap to what anyone else charges. Compare rupees.
This page cannot tell you that, and we would not assume it. Every temperature figure here - "0 Degree", "-5°C", "-10 Degree", "8°C to 20°C" - is copied from the listing's own title, and nothing on this page was slept in or temperature-tested by us. Sleeping-bag comfort ratings are not standardised across Indian sellers, so one seller's "0 degree" is not comparable with another's. One detail worth noticing: the two Coleman tiles publish two figures each - extreme -22°C with comfort 1°C, and -18°C to +3°C - where most of this shelf publishes a single number. A bag that under-performs its stated rating is a real safety problem in genuine cold, so for high-altitude or winter use, buy on the manufacturer's own specification and reviews rather than a listing title.
Check whether the tile you are looking at is one of several for the same bag. In this read, five tiles share one product name at prices Rs. 189 apart, and four Karakoram tiles are Rs. 459 apart. Check the rating count against neighbouring listings - an identical count means a shared pool, so the average is not about that specific variant. Compare rupees, not badges, since two tiles of one bag can state different MRPs. Check for a packed weight and a shape - mummy bags and rectangular bags do different jobs, and only some tiles here state either. And check the seller and the return window on the live listing, neither of which is included in any price on this page.
