A glucometer is bought once. The strips are bought forever - and on one Flipkart shelf they range from Rs. 4.51 to Rs. 27.52 each, with the deepest discounts sitting on the cheapest strips and the 1% badges on the dearest.
We read Flipkart's own glucometer and test-strip results on 5 November 2026 and divided every price by the strip count printed in the listing's own title. The 22 strip boxes come out between Rs. 4.51 and Rs. 27.52 a strip. And the sharpest number on the shelf is not in that range at all: the Accu-Chek Instant S meter is Rs. 869, while one 50-strip refill for it is Rs. 1,244.
Every price below was pulled from Flipkart on November 5, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Flipkart coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

Flipkart runs card and coupon offers that change by day, card and basket, and this read was made logged out, so no bank discount is included in any price here. Check which meter the box names before anything else - every strip on this page fits one family and no other, and that single line on the box decides which prices are even available to you. Then divide the price by the strip count, which reverses the ranking repeatedly on this shelf. Read the count out of the title and the photograph, not the thumbnail: the Control D box here is "50x4=200" and the 35-strip pack is a 25 and a 10 sold together. Ignore the badge - the 1% tiles are the dearest strips on this page and the 74% tile is the cheapest. And treat the choice of meter, the choice of strip and the meaning of any reading as your doctor's call, not a price page's - nothing here assesses accuracy, expiry, storage or clinical suitability.

Each selling price, stated MRP, badge, star average and rating count was read from flipkart.com's own search results for "glucometer" and "blood sugar test strips" on 5 November 2026, logged out, from India, with nothing bought. Every strip count quoted is printed in the listing's own title and was re-checked against the pack photograph on the tile - that second check is what caught the Control D "50x4=200" box and the 35-strip pack that is really a 25 and a 10. Every rupees-per-strip figure is our own arithmetic - price divided by the stated strip count - and is not a number Flipkart publishes. The read returned 113 tiles; 25 are seated here.
Twenty-two tiles here are strips; three are meters sold without strips, and they are kept in their own chapter. No per-strip rate on this page includes hardware, and no meter price is divided by anything. Combination kits that bundle a meter with strips were deliberately left out of the per-strip arithmetic entirely, because their price contains a machine and the resulting figure would not be a strip price.
Blood glucose test strips are not interchangeable between meters. Every box on this page names its machine family - "For: Accu-Chek Guide", "For Glucocard G+", "Use GluNEO Lite Glucose Test Strip only with GluNEO Lite meter" - and those are the manufacturers' own printed instructions, visible in the listing photographs. The Rs. 4.51 strip at the top of this page is not available to someone holding an Accu-Chek Guide, and the Rs. 27.52 one is the only option for that person. This page is a map of running costs by meter family, not a shopping list.
We have not tested, opened, calibrated or clinically compared any meter or any strip on this page. Accuracy, ISO 15197 conformity, lot-to-lot variation, coding, expiry, storage temperature and what any reading actually means are clinical and regulatory matters that a price comparison cannot assess and that nothing here makes a claim about. Choosing a meter, switching strips, and acting on a blood glucose reading are decisions for a doctor or a diabetes educator. The cheapest strip per unit is not the right strip for anybody in particular.
"No Coding", "Accurate & Fast Results", "Proven Accuracy", "High Accuracy NIB Tested" and "#1 Recommended by Diabetologists in India" are printed on these listings and pack photographs and carry their own footnotes and qualifications that a search tile does not show. We reproduce the sellers' images because they are what the shelf shows, and we neither repeat nor endorse any claim printed on them. Where this page notes that one tile is badged 74% and another 1%, those are figures the listings published: setting a reference price above the selling price is an ordinary retail practice, nothing here alleges wrongdoing by Flipkart, any seller or any brand named, and no stated MRP is asserted to be false.
Between Rs. 4.51 and Rs. 27.52 a strip, on this read. We read Flipkart's own results for "glucometer" and "blood sugar test strips" on 5 November 2026, took the strip count printed in each listing's title, re-checked it against the pack photograph, and divided. The cheapest was a 150-strip gluco spark pack at Rs. 676, or Rs. 4.51 a strip; the dearest was a 50-strip ACCU-CHEK Guide box at Rs. 1,376, or Rs. 27.52 a strip - a 6.10x spread. The median of the 22 strip tiles seated here is Rs. 11.38 a strip. All per-strip figures are our arithmetic on Flipkart's published prices, not numbers Flipkart displays. Prices change daily and none of this is medical advice.
No - and this is the most important thing on this page. Test strips are specific to a meter family, and the boxes say so themselves: the ACCU-CHEK Guide box reads "For: Accu-Chek Guide", the Arkray box reads "For Glucocard G+", and the K-life pack prints "Use GluNEO Lite Glucose Test Strip only with GluNEO Lite meter". So if you own an Accu-Chek Guide, your running cost is Rs. 27.52 a strip and the Rs. 4.51 tile at the top of this page is simply not available to you. The practical use of a page like this is before you buy a meter, not after. Which meter is right for any individual is a clinical question for a doctor or diabetes educator, not a price question, and nothing here assesses accuracy or suitability.
Yes, and both tiles were on the same shelf on the same day. The Accu-Chek Instant S meter was Rs. 869, badged 2%. The ACCU-CHEK Instant 50-strip refill that fits it was Rs. 1,244, badged 4%. That is Rs. 375 more for one box of 50 strips than for the machine. The gap is starker still further down: the Dr. Morepen "ONLY METER" tile was Rs. 176, so one Rs. 1,376 box of ACCU-CHEK Guide strips cost 7.8 times that entire meter. Fifty strips is under two months of twice-daily testing, which is why the strip price, not the meter price, is the number that decides what testing costs over a year. How often anyone should test is a matter for their doctor.
Because on this shelf the badge tracks which brand is printed on the box, not what a strip costs. The four tiles badged 1%, 1%, 2% and 4% - three ACCU-CHEK boxes and one OneTouch - are the four dearest strips here, at Rs. 22.18 to Rs. 27.52 each. The tiles badged 57% to 74% are the cheapest, at Rs. 4.51 to Rs. 7.75. The same split shows up in the ratings: the Rs. 22.18 tile carries 20,044 ratings while three of the sub-Rs. 9 tiles publish no rating at all. Setting a reference price above the selling price is an ordinary retail practice and nothing here alleges that any stated MRP is false - the narrow, checkable point is that on this shelf the badge and the unit price move in opposite directions, so the badge is not a useful guide to the running cost.
No. On this read it did for two brands and failed for two others. SD Codefree steps down properly - Rs. 6.40 a strip in the 100, Rs. 5.99 in the 200. Control D's 200-pack is Rs. 8.00 a strip, but its 100 and its 50 are both Rs. 8.96 to the paisa, so the 100 saves nothing at all over two 50s. And Dr. Morepen runs the wrong way at the small end: its 50 is Rs. 12.70 and its 100 is Rs. 12.73 a strip, while its 25-pack is Rs. 18.12 - 42.7% dearer per strip than its own 50. So the division is worth doing every time, and it takes five seconds. Pack size should also never be chosen past a strip's expiry date, which these tiles do not show and we did not check.
