Twenty-three safes read in one afternoon. Five of them turned up twice - same model, same stated MRP, different finish - and in every single pair one tile was discounted and the other was not.
We read every home safe Vijay Sales returned on its own "electronic-safe" category pages on 4 November 2026 - 23 Godrej lockers - and laid them out in pairs rather than by price, because five of the 23 turned out to be the same safe twice. Each pair states one identical MRP, and in every case one colourway carries a 12% to 19% badge while the other carries 2%, a gap worth between Rs. 1,051 and Rs. 3,120. Seventeen of the 23 safes on this shelf are badged exactly 2%.
Every price below was pulled from Vijay Sales on November 4, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Vijay Sales coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.
Same model, same stated MRP, different colour - and one tile of every pair carries a 12% to 19% badge while its twin sits at 2%.
Rs. 9,099 against a stated Rs. 11,249, badged 19% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot the cheaper half of the clearest pair in the read: the same 8-litre safe, in a different colour, is Rs. 1,891 dearer.
Rs. 10,990 against a stated Rs. 11,249, badged 2% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot the same safe as pick 01 in a different finish, Rs. 1,891 dearer, with the badge gone.
Rs. 16,608 against a stated Rs. 19,799, badged 16% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot the cheaper of two 33-litre lockers that state the same MRP to the rupee.
Rs. 19,390 against a stated Rs. 19,799, badged 2% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot Rs. 2,782 more than the identical locker in Ebony, which is the widest colour gap on the shelf.
Rs. 16,479 against a stated Rs. 20,049, badged 18% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot the discounted half of the 25-litre pair - and here it is the Ivory tile that is cheaper, reversing picks 01 to 04.
Rs. 19,599 against a stated Rs. 20,049, badged 2% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot Rs. 3,120 above its own twin, which is why colour is worth checking before capacity on this shelf.

Why it earned its spot the cheaper of the two I-BUZZ tiles, Rs. 1,600 below its own twin.
Rs. 13,599 against a stated Rs. 13,899, badged 2% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,600 more than pick 07 for the same safe in a different colour.
Rs. 8,799 against a stated Rs. 10,049, badged 12% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot the floor of the whole shelf, and the fifth model with a 2%-badged twin.
Rs. 9,850 against a stated Rs. 10,049, badged 2% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,051 above pick 09 off an identical stated MRP, and the cheapest tile in the 2% band.
From Rs. 9,850 to Rs. 50,550 - a 5.1x price range - the badge does not move off 2%, and the claim multiple never leaves 1.017x to 1.024x.
Rs. 50,550 against a stated Rs. 51,599, badged 2% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot the top of the shelf, badged exactly as shallowly as the Rs. 9,850 tile.
Rs. 39,750 against a stated Rs. 40,549, badged 2% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot the 30-litre Luxe, Rs. 10,800 below its 48-litre sibling for 18 fewer litres.
Rs. 39,350 against a stated Rs. 40,149, badged 2% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot a different product line at almost exactly the Luxe 30L price, with the same badge.
Rs. 38,690 against a stated Rs. 39,449, badged 2% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot three stated litres less than the 48-litre Luxe at pick 11, for Rs. 11,860 less money - the capacity-to-price ladder is not smooth.
Rs. 31,950 against a stated Rs. 32,599, badged 2% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot the Rhino line's cheaper tile, and another 1.02x claim.
Rs. 29,790 against a stated Rs. 30,399, badged 2% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot the 30-litre Plus, Rs. 9,960 under the 30-litre Luxe at pick 12 for the same stated capacity.
Rs. 24,390 against a stated Rs. 24,899, badged 2% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot the magnetic-strip model, and the narrowest claim in the whole read at 1.021x.
Rs. 25,490 against a stated Rs. 25,999, badged 2% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot 40 litres at roughly Rs. 637 a litre, the cheapest litre on the shelf above 25 litres.
Rs. 22,990 against a stated Rs. 23,449, badged 2% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot 30 litres for Rs. 3,391 more than the 25-litre Grey tile at pick 06.
Rs. 20,890 against a stated Rs. 21,249, badged 2% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot 15 litres at Rs. 20,890, against the same brand's other 15-litre safe at Rs. 8,799.
Every other 12%-to-19% badge on this shelf belongs to half of a pair. The Coffer V1 appears once.
Rs. 13,193 against a stated Rs. 16,049, badged 18% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot the only safe in the read carrying a double-digit badge without a 2%-badged twin.
Vijay Sales runs card and coupon offers that change by day, card and basket, and this read was made logged out, so no bank discount is included in any price here. Check both colourways of the model you want - on this shelf that was worth up to Rs. 3,120. Check the certification and warranty paperwork rather than the badge, because nothing on this page tests burglary or fire resistance. Check delivery, installation and anchoring charges, none of which are in these prices. Compare rupees per stated litre, which runs from about Rs. 637 to over Rs. 1,390 here and does not track the badge at all. And confirm the lock type - mechanical, digital, motorised and biometric models sit at very different prices for the same capacity.

Each selling price, stated MRP and discount badge on this page was read from vijaysales.com's own "electronic-safe" category pages on 4 November 2026, logged out, from India, with nothing bought. The read returned 24 listings, 23 of them Godrej home safes and lockers, and all 23 are on this page. Every median, range, multiple and count quoted is computed over those 23.
Picks 01 to 10 are five models that each appear twice in this read, once per colourway, and each pair is set side by side so the two tiles can be compared directly. Nothing is seated because it is a good buy and nothing is dropped because it is a bad one - every safe the read returned is here, including the cheapest, the dearest and all seventeen badged 2%.
Where this page says one tile states Rs. 11,249 behind a Rs. 10,990 safe, that is a figure Vijay Sales published. Setting a reference price above the selling price is an ordinary retail practice, and nothing here alleges wrongdoing by Vijay Sales or by Godrej. No stated MRP on this page is asserted to be false. The observation that two colourways of one safe carry different prices off one stated MRP is a description of published figures, not a criticism.
This is a price read. We have not handled, opened, installed or tested anything on this page, and nothing here should be read as advice that any of these safes will resist burglary or fire. "Biometric", "Motorised Lock", "Twin Solid Steel Shooting Bolts" and the litre capacities are quoted from the listings' own titles and are unverified by us. For a product bought to protect valuables, read the manufacturer's own certification and warranty documents before buying - a discount badge says nothing about either.
Home safes are heavy goods, frequently requiring floor or wall anchoring, and none of the prices on this page include delivery, installation or anchoring, which Vijay Sales sets separately and which this read did not check. A Rs. 8,799 15-litre safe and a Rs. 50,550 48-litre one are very unlikely to carry comparable delivery terms - read them off the live listing before comparing the two figures.
Across 23 Godrej home safes and lockers read on 4 November 2026 from Vijay Sales's own category pages, prices ran from Rs. 8,799 to Rs. 50,550 with a median of Rs. 20,890. Small 8-to-15-litre safes cluster between about Rs. 8,800 and Rs. 13,600; 25-to-33-litre lockers run roughly Rs. 16,500 to Rs. 19,600; biometric 30-to-48-litre models run Rs. 20,890 to Rs. 50,550. None of these prices include delivery, installation or anchoring. Prices change constantly - check the live listing before buying.
Because on this shelf the two tiles are different colourways of one model, and only one of them carries a real discount. Five models in this read appear twice. In every case both tiles state the identical MRP, one is badged between 12% and 19%, and its twin is badged 2%. The gaps are Rs. 1,051, Rs. 1,600, Rs. 1,891, Rs. 2,782 and Rs. 3,120. Three of the five pairs even share a parent product code in Vijay Sales's own URLs (P161378, P159631, P160733). Which colour is the cheap one is not consistent - Ivory is dearer in two pairs and cheaper in another. If you are not set on a particular finish, check both tiles of the same model before buying. Nothing here suggests any stated MRP is false.
Seventeen of the 23 safes in this read are badged exactly 2%, and their stated MRPs sit between 1.017 and 1.024 times the selling price. In rupees that is a reference price Rs. 199 to Rs. 1,049 above what you pay. The other six are badged 12% to 19%, at 1.142x to 1.236x. Nothing on this shelf is badged between 3% and 11%, or above 19%. Listing a product at or near its reference price is ordinary and lawful; the practical point is that on this shelf the badge mostly tells you whether a tile is the discounted colourway, not whether it is good value. Compare rupees per litre instead.
Not one of the 23. No safe in this read publishes a star average or a rating count at all. That is Vijay Sales's own behaviour on this shelf and it implies nothing about the safes - but it matters here, because several of these listings are otherwise hard to tell apart. Two tiles both describe a 30-litre biometric Godrej locker and sell at Rs. 29,790 and Rs. 39,750; with no ratings published, no customer figure separates them, and the badge is 2% on both.
Check both colourways of the model you want - on this shelf that single step was worth up to Rs. 3,120. Check the certification and warranty documents, not the badge: a discount percentage says nothing about burglary or fire resistance, and nothing on this page tests either. Check delivery, installation and anchoring charges, which are not in any price here and matter for a heavy item that usually needs bolting down. Compare rupees per stated litre - on this shelf that runs from roughly Rs. 637 to over Rs. 1,390 a litre, and the badge does not track it. And confirm the lock type you are actually buying, since mechanical, digital, motorised and biometric models here sit at very different prices for the same capacity.
