MakeMyTrip Diwali Offers 2026: MMTDIWALI Codes Run to 5 November

We read MakeMyTrip's own homepage and offers page through a browser on 28 October 2026 and collected every card it showed - 114 of them, 17 carrying a visible coupon code.

The Diwali code, MMTDIWALI, is printed on four separate cards - buses, cabs, flights and a general trip card - and every one of them says "Expires on 5 Nov". Meanwhile 16 cards expire on 31 October and six more on 30 October: 22 of the 114 inside three days of this read.

The single biggest cluster on the page is 31 October - 16 cards, including "Up to Rs. 9,000 OFF* on Flights", a flat 10% on business-class fares, a Lufthansa sale and several hotel-chain offers. A second group of six goes on 30 October, two days after this read.

The regional bus codes are the long-lived ones. MMTNORTH, MMTSOUTH, MMTEAST, MMTWEST, MEGABUS, MMTBLACK, RTCNEW and INTRCITY all run to late December - 29 cards in that group. If you are booking a bus rather than a flight, the deadline pressure on this page mostly does not apply to you.

Our automated event sweep for 28 October listed a MakeMyTrip "Anniversary Sale, up to 60% OFF". Reading the offers page itself, no MakeMyTrip anniversary sale appears. The only anniversary card on the page is "LIVE NOW: 21st Anniversary Sale by Jazeera Airways ... with FLAT 21% OFF* on Fares", expiring 30 October - an airline's own sale carried on MakeMyTrip, not a MakeMyTrip event.

We are saying so here rather than repeating the sweep. Two other airline sales were live on the page the same day: EVA Air, up to 15% off to select destinations, and Malaysia Airlines, up to 15% - both printed "Expires on 12 Nov". The "up to 60% OFF" figure is a headline MakeMyTrip runs across its hotels marketing generally; it is not attached to an anniversary event on the page we read.

One: check the date on the card, not the one on any third-party page. MMTAXISFEST expires 30 October and MMTDIWALI on 5 November, two very different windows sitting next to each other in the same grid. Two: expect the discount to be decided at checkout. The four MMTDIWALI cards print no percentage at all, so the only way to see what it is worth on your route is to apply it.

Three: check whether a cheaper non-coupon offer applies to the same booking. Several of the biggest numbers on the page - up to Rs. 9,000 off flights, up to 60% at Oyo properties, interest-free EMI - carry no code at all and are applied automatically on qualifying bookings. Nothing was booked, paid for or cancelled in producing this page, and no code was tested.
