MakeMyTrip's offers page, read on 31 August 2026, carried 18 offers filed under Buses. Eleven of them come with a code you type at checkout; the rest are route or product offers that apply automatically.
The codes split into two groups, and the split matters more than any single percentage: four regional codes that all give the same 8 per cent, and seven operator or campaign codes that range from Rs. 50 off to 15 per cent off.
Every discount on these cards carries an asterisk, and none of the cards prints a maximum. Treat “FLAT 15%” as 15 per cent up to a cap MakeMyTrip does not publish on the card itself.
The four regional codes are one offer with four names
MMTNORTH, MMTSOUTH, MMTWEST and MMTEAST all read the same on the card: FLAT 8% OFF on buses, expiring 30 December. What changes between them is the geography printed underneath.
So there is nothing to compare here. The right code is simply the one that covers where you are boarding — and if your route crosses regions, the card does not say which end decides it, so try the one for your origin state first.

If two apply to your route, the arithmetic is worth doing: 8 per cent of a Rs. 1,200 fare is Rs. 96, while INTRCITY's flat Rs. 50 is Rs. 50 whatever the fare.
The operator codes are the better ones
If your bus happens to be run by one of the operators MakeMyTrip is promoting, the code attached to that operator beats the regional 8 per cent every time.
FLIX15 gives 15 per cent on FlixBus, PRIMODAY 10 per cent on MakeMyTrip's own Primo buses, and RTCNEW 10 per cent on state road transport corporation buses — though that last one is a welcome offer restricted to a first booking. MEGABUS is the loosest: up to 10 per cent on bus bookings generally.
Two of the eleven codes cannot be used today at all. MMTBLACK's flat Rs. 150 off bus tickets is marked as starting 10 October, and the Bus-Train Pass starts 26 December. MMTESCAPE, the long-weekend code worth up to Rs. 300, is the one with a deadline worth watching — it expires on 5 September.

The search results name the operator on every service, so pick your bus first and then take the code that matches it: FlixBus → FLIX15 (15%), an RTC service and a first booking → RTCNEW (10%), Primo → PRIMODAY (10%). Only fall back to your regional 8 per cent code when none of those apply.
The bus offers that need no code
Seven of the 18 bus offers are not coupons at all. TripAssured, running to 12 October, promises a guaranteed departure or a 2X refund on bus bookings. A pilgrimage-route offer gives a flat 8 per cent to 11 September. A Bus-Train Pass worth up to Rs. 250 opens on 26 December.
There are also cross-category sales that include buses — up to 25 per cent on flights, hotels, buses and cabs on a same-day timer, and an up-to-15-per-cent sale starting 2 September — but the bus share of those headline numbers is not broken out on the card.
