Not one of AJIO's eighty watch listings publishes a rating. Myntra publishes one on sixty-six of its eighty.
We read the watch shelves at AJIO, Myntra and Tata CLiQ on the same morning and compared what each actually stocks. Below: the Rs. 2,000 gap between their median watches, the eight listings above Rs. 10,000 that exist on only one of the three, and the brand that refuses to discount on both shops that carry it.
📅 Three shelves read 25 September 2026
Median watch: Myntra Rs. 995, AJIO Rs. 1,400, Tata CLiQ Rs. 2,984
AJIO publishes no rating on any of its 80 watch listings
📅 Update log:
25 Sep 2026 — first published. The 194 listings came from ajio.com (80), myntra.com (80) and tatacliq.com (34), each read on the morning of 25 September 2026 as a logged-out visitor in India with nothing purchased. No single watch model appeared on all three shelves, so every cross-shop comparison on this page is at brand or shelf level and is labelled as a proxy. All three shops re-price without notice, so we re-read these shelves and log what has changed here.
Three shops, three completely different watch shelves
We read the watch listings on AJIO, Myntra and Tata CLiQ on the same morning - 25 September 2026, logged out, in India - and got 194 listings between them. They are not three versions of the same shelf. They barely overlap at all.
Myntra's median watch is Rs. 995. AJIO's is Rs. 1,400. Tata CLiQ's is Rs. 2,984. Put another way: Myntra has 42 watches under Rs. 1,000 and not one above Rs. 5,000. Tata CLiQ has none under Rs. 1,000 and eight above Rs. 10,000, topping out at two Seikos at Rs. 36,000 apiece. AJIO sits across both, with 33 listings under Rs. 1,000 and nine above Rs. 5,000.
The brand counts follow. Myntra returned 30 distinct brands, AJIO 23 and Tata CLiQ nine - and only two names, Fastrack and Timex, appear on all three. If you are deciding where to look for a watch, that is the first thing worth knowing: these shops are not competing for the same purchase.

AJIO publishes no rating on any of its 80 watch listings
The single sharpest difference between the three is not price. Not one of AJIO's 80 watch listings publishes a rating. Not a low star average, not a handful of reviews - nothing, on every listing, at every price from Rs. 340 to Rs. 14,151.
Myntra publishes one on 66 of its 80, and several are enormous: Casio's Vintage A-158WA carries 25,967, WROGN's WRG00048A carries 16,341, Titan's Workwear carries 9,126. Tata CLiQ publishes a count on 17 of 34, but eleven of those seventeen are under five ratings - its Rs. 36,000 Seiko carries nine, its Rs. 15,540 Maserati carries eight, and a Rs. 4,995 Timex smartwatch carries a single one-star rating.
This is not new for AJIO. Every AJIO shelf we have measured this month - beauty, saree blouses, footwear - has come back with zero ratings published, while Myntra rates most of its catalogue. The practical effect is that on AJIO the discount badge is the only number on the tile, and the badge is the number least worth trusting.

Titan does not discount, on either shop that stocks it
Here is the cleanest cross-shop check in the read, and it replicates a finding we made on Myntra's watch shelf independently.
All five Titan listings on Myntra sit at exactly 0% off, each priced at Rs. 1,995 against a stated MRP of Rs. 1,995. Four of the six Titan listings on AJIO sit at exactly 3% off - Rs. 1,935 against Rs. 1,995, Rs. 2,905 against Rs. 2,995, Rs. 3,827 against Rs. 3,945. The two exceptions are a Classique listed twice at Rs. 5,524 against Rs. 8,245, a 33% badge.
Fastrack, Sonata, Casio and Timex behave similarly wherever they appear: Fastrack's median badge is 18% on Myntra and 30% on both AJIO and Tata CLiQ; Sonata's is 30% on both shops that stock it; Casio is at 0% on Myntra and 30% on Tata CLiQ. None of them reaches the 70-to-86% band that a large part of every one of these shelves sits in. Two shops, two independent pulls, same pattern.
| Shop | Listing | Price | Stated MRP | Badge |
|---|
| Myntra | Titan Workwear quartz | Rs. 1,995 | Rs. 1,995 | 0% off |
| Myntra | Titan Karishma quartz | Rs. 1,995 | Rs. 1,995 | 0% off |
| Myntra | Titan Lagan quartz | Rs. 1,995 | Rs. 1,995 | 0% off |

| AJIO | Titan NT1636SM01 water-resistant | Rs. 2,905 | Rs. 2,995 | 3% off |
| AJIO | Titan Karishma NU1713BM02 brass strap | Rs. 3,827 | Rs. 3,945 | 3% off |
| AJIO | Titan Classique Palette of Time | Rs. 5,524 | Rs. 8,245 | 33% off |
| AJIO | Titan Classique Palette of Time (second) | Rs. 5,524 | Rs. 8,245 | 33% off |
⌚ The check worth thirty seconds. Pick the brand first, then compare the price at each shop - never the badge. Titan's own watches are 0% off on Myntra and 3% off on AJIO, and that tells you nothing except that Titan sets its prices. The badge is large exactly where the brand is one you cannot price from memory.
Where each shop actually differs, brand by brand
Only Fastrack and Timex appear on all three shelves, so a like-for-like comparison is impossible - no single watch model turned up in all three reads. What we can compare is brand-level medians, which is a proxy and should be read as one.
Timex is the best-stocked shared name: 16 listings on AJIO at a median Rs. 2,268, 13 on Tata CLiQ at Rs. 1,898 and four on Myntra at Rs. 2,257. The Tata CLiQ Timex listings skew towards its iConnect smartwatch line, which is why its median sits lowest despite the shop having the dearest shelf overall. Fastrack runs the other way: median Rs. 985 on AJIO, Rs. 1,347 on Myntra and Rs. 1,825 on Tata CLiQ.
The distinctive stock is what actually separates them. Tata CLiQ is the only one of the three carrying Seiko, Maserati, CIGA Design and Tommy Hilfiger - and those four names account for its entire above-Rs. 10,000 shelf. AJIO is the only one carrying LORENZ, NITYA, Uniquest, Carlington and Louis Devin, which account for most of its sub-Rs. 1,000 shelf and all of its largest stated MRP multiples.
| Brand | AJIO | Myntra | Tata CLiQ |
|---|
| Timex | 16 listings, median Rs. 2,268 at 38% off | 4 listings, median Rs. 2,257 at 45% off | 13 listings, median Rs. 1,898 at 50% off |
| Fastrack | 3 listings, median Rs. 985 at 30% off | 10 listings, median Rs. 1,347 at 18% off | 3 listings, median Rs. 1,825 at 30% off |
| Titan | 6 listings, median Rs. 3,366 at 3% off | 5 listings, all Rs. 1,995 at 0% off | not in this read |

The stated MRPs, at both the cheap end and the expensive one
Each shop has its own version of the inflated stated MRP, and they sit at different price points.
On AJIO it is at the bottom: a Carlington digital watch at Rs. 998 against a stated Rs. 6,999 - seven times - and five NITYA and Louis Devin listings between Rs. 340 and Rs. 400 against a stated Rs. 1,999 each. None of the eight publishes a rating, because no AJIO watch listing does.
On Tata CLiQ it is in the middle: six French Connection listings, four of them smartwatches at Rs. 1,949 to Rs. 2,469 against stated MRPs of Rs. 10,995 and Rs. 12,995 - badges of 81% and 85% - on a shelf whose median badge is 41%. Two French Connection analogue watches at Rs. 3,499 state Rs. 15,995. By contrast its Seikos are 10% off and its CIGA Designs 15%.
On Myntra it is a smartwatch: a nervfit Orion at Rs. 2,399 against a stated Rs. 21,999, 9.2 times, the largest multiple anywhere in this read. In all three cases the same rule holds - the multiple is largest on the name you have not heard of, and the watch houses declare an MRP close to what they charge.

What a three-shop comparison cannot tell you
Nothing on this page was bought, worn, opened, timed or tested. Every price, stated MRP, badge, star average and rating count here is the shop's own published figure on one morning, reproduced without adjustment.
No single watch model appeared on all three shelves, so nothing here is a like-for-like price comparison and we make no claim that any two listings are the same product. The brand-level medians in the table above are a proxy: they compare what each shop chooses to stock under a name, not what a given watch costs at each. A shop whose Timex listings are mostly smartwatches will show a different median from one whose Timex listings are mostly analogue, and that is a fact about assortment rather than price.
Each read is also a snapshot of what the listing pages returned that morning, not a census of any catalogue - a watch any of these shops sells that did not appear in these searches does not appear here. Movement, case material, water resistance, warranty and service network differ across these 194 listings and are reflected in no number on this page, and a lower price is never a claim that two watches are equivalent.
Different shops for different watches, and one number to ignore
For a watch under Rs. 1,000, Myntra has 42 of them and AJIO 33, and Myntra's are rated while AJIO's are not - Fastrack's Fastfit and The Minimalists are Rs. 995 each on Myntra with 4,742 and 2,228 ratings behind them. AJIO's cheapest, a Rs. 340 NITYA against a stated Rs. 1,999, has no rating at all because nothing on that shelf does.
For anything above Rs. 10,000, Tata CLiQ is the only one of the three with stock - eight listings, from a Rs. 12,079 Tommy Hilfiger to two Rs. 36,000 Seikos - and its ratings, where they exist, are in single figures. Its Seikos are 10% off and its CIGA Designs 15%, which is what a real discount on a real watch tends to look like.
What we would not do is compare the three shops on their discount badges, which sit within a point of each other on AJIO and Myntra while their shelves differ by Rs. 405 at the median; read a 78% French Connection badge on Tata CLiQ as three times better value than a 25% Maserati one; or shop AJIO's watch shelf on the assumption that a missing rating means an unrated product, when not one of its 80 listings carries one.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which is cheapest for watches - AJIO, Myntra or Tata CLiQ?
They are not selling the same thing, which is the honest answer. In our 25 September 2026 read, Myntra's median watch was Rs. 995, AJIO's Rs. 1,400 and Tata CLiQ's Rs. 2,984. Myntra had 42 listings under Rs. 1,000 and none above Rs. 5,000; Tata CLiQ had none under Rs. 1,000 and eight above Rs. 10,000. So Myntra is the cheapest shelf, Tata CLiQ the dearest, and AJIO spans both — but only Fastrack and Timex appear on all three, so no single watch can be priced across them.
Why do AJIO watches have no ratings?
We cannot say why, only that they do not. Not one of the 80 AJIO watch listings in our read publishes a rating — no star average and no review count — at any price from Rs. 340 to Rs. 14,151. This matches every other AJIO shelf we have measured this month. Myntra publishes a rating on 66 of its 80 watch listings and Tata CLiQ on 17 of 34. The consequence on AJIO is that the discount badge is the only number on the tile, and it is the least informative one.
Does Titan ever go on sale online?
Barely, on the two shops in this read that stock it. All five Titan listings on Myntra are at exactly 0% off, each Rs. 1,995 against a stated MRP of Rs. 1,995. Four of the six on AJIO are at exactly 3% off — Rs. 1,935 against Rs. 1,995, Rs. 2,905 against Rs. 2,995, Rs. 3,827 against Rs. 3,945. The exceptions are two Classique listings at Rs. 5,524 against Rs. 8,245. Casio, Fastrack and Sonata behave similarly; none of them reaches the 70%-plus band that much of these shelves occupies.
Where can I buy Seiko or Maserati watches in India online?
Of the three shops in this read, only Tata CLiQ carried them: two Seiko 5 Sports at Rs. 36,000 each (10% off a stated Rs. 40,000, with nine ratings apiece) and three Maseratis from Rs. 15,540 to Rs. 17,565. It also had two CIGA Design chronographs at Rs. 22,610 and Rs. 32,300 and two Tommy Hilfigers. Neither AJIO nor Myntra returned a single listing above Rs. 14,151 and Rs. 4,999 respectively. Note that Tata CLiQ's ratings are thin: eleven of its seventeen rated listings have fewer than five ratings.
Are the 80%-off watch discounts on AJIO and Tata CLiQ real?
They are real badges computed from stated MRPs, which is a different question. AJIO's largest multiples sit at the cheap end — a Carlington digital watch at Rs. 998 against a stated Rs. 6,999, seven times, and five NITYA and Louis Devin listings at Rs. 340 to Rs. 400 against Rs. 1,999 each. Tata CLiQ's sit on six French Connection listings at 78% to 85%, on a shelf whose median badge is 41%. In both cases the multiple is largest on names a shopper cannot price from memory, while the watch houses declare an MRP close to what they charge.
Prices & codes last verified: 25 September 2026
The three shelves behind this page were read on the morning of 25 September 2026 as served to a logged-out visitor in India, with nothing purchased and no account used: 80 distinct listings from ajio.com's own watch and analogue-watch listings, 80 from myntra.com's own watch listing pages and 34 from tatacliq.com's own watch listings, 194 in total. Every selling price, stated MRP, discount percentage, star average and rating count is the respective shop's own published figure reproduced without adjustment. No single watch model appeared on all three shelves and only two brands, Fastrack and Timex, appeared on all three, so nothing on this page is a like-for-like price comparison and no claim is made or implied that any two listings are the same product: the brand-level medians are a proxy that compares what each shop chooses to stock under a name rather than what a given watch costs at each, and they move with assortment - a shop whose Timex listings are mostly smartwatches shows a different median from one whose Timex listings are mostly analogue. Medians, ranges, band counts and every cross-shop figure are our own arithmetic over these listings on this date and describe these particular sets rather than any shop's full catalogue; a watch any of these shops sells that did not appear in these reads does not appear here, and the three sample sizes differ (80, 80 and 34), which affects how firmly any comparison can be read. The observation that no AJIO watch listing in this read publishes a rating is a description of what the listing pages showed on one day; we offer no explanation for it and it is not an allegation about AJIO or any seller. A stated MRP is a maximum retail price the seller declares and a discount badge is arithmetic on that declaration, so a large multiple is an observation about a declared number and nothing more - not evidence that any product was ever offered or sold at that price, not a finding about the conduct of any shop, brand or seller, and not a claim about the quality or value of any watch. Nothing on this page was bought, unboxed, worn, timed, opened or tested. Movement type, case and strap material, glass, water resistance, battery life, warranty, authorised-service coverage and after-sales support differ across these listings and are reflected in no figure here, so a lower price is not a claim that two watches are equivalent. No wrongdoing by AJIO, Myntra, Tata CLiQ or by Titan, Casio, Fastrack, Sonata, Timex, Seiko, Maserati, CIGA Design, Tommy Hilfiger, Carlton London, French Connection, Carlington, NITYA, LORENZ, Uniquest, Louis Devin, Joker & Witch, nervfit or any other brand or seller named is alleged or implied. Star averages and rating counts are as published on the date of reading and change continuously. The watch photographs in the banner are the listing images of three watches priced on this page, uploaded to our own CDN; they illustrate the category and are not the source of any price here. Prices change without notice; coupons, bank offers, delivery charges and anything applied at checkout can move your final price in either direction, and the price shown at your checkout prevails over anything here. Zoutons may earn a commission if you buy through links on this page; it does not change what you pay.
