The query returned eleven listings, all of which are reported here: ten air purifiers and one Philips HU4706 humidifier, which we identify as such and exclude from the purifier tables. Ten purifiers, Rs. 5,159 to Rs. 58,849, and no ratings at all
We pulled Reliance Digital's own listing data for air purifiers on 30 August 2026. The query returned eleven listings; ten of them are air purifiers and one, as we set out below, is not. The ten run from Rs. 5,159 to Rs. 58,849, and their discount badges run from 2 to 48 per cent.
Not one of the eleven listings publishes a rating average or a rating count. We pulled Amazon's air purifier results the same day for comparison and all 22 of those listings carried both. On a machine you buy once and run for years, that difference in published evidence is the single biggest thing separating the two shelves.
This is a sensible moment to read the category. Air purifier demand in north India climbs from October with the pollution season, and the machines with real filter areas are the ones that go out of stock first.

The biggest discount in the results is not a purifier
The largest badge the query returned is 87 per cent, on a Philips HU4706 at Rs. 790 against a stated Rs. 5,995. It is a humidifier, not an air purifier: it adds moisture to the air and does not filter particulate out of it. The two devices are not substitutes and solve different problems.
We are flagging it rather than quietly dropping the row, because a category search that surfaces an 87 per cent badge on the cheapest thing in the results is exactly how someone ends up buying the wrong appliance. If your concern is PM2.5, a humidifier will not help; if your concern is dry winter air, a purifier will not help.
Excluding it, the cheapest actual purifier on this shelf is the Honeywell Touch V1 at Rs. 5,159, which is also the deepest genuine discount here at 48 per cent.

💡 Purifier or humidifier? A purifier pulls air through a HEPA filter and removes particulate. A humidifier adds water vapour. Some machines do both and say so; this one is a humidifier and the listing title says so plainly.
The badge shrinks as the price rises, again
Sorted by badge, this shelf shows the pattern we find on every retailer listing we read. The two deepest discounts belong to the two Honeywell Touch models at 48 and 41 per cent. The shallowest belong to the most expensive machines: LG's Puricare Aerobooster 360 at 2 per cent off a stated Rs. 59,990, and Philips' AC3220 at 4 per cent.
The reason is not generosity at the cheap end. A stated MRP is a number that has to be defensible wherever the brand sells, and a Dyson or an LG at the top of the range is priced consistently across its own stores, its own website and every retailer. There is no room to construct a large badge.
The practical read: on this shelf the rupee price is the whole story, and the badge tells you roughly how tightly the brand controls its pricing rather than how good a deal you are getting.

Against Amazon, read the same day
We pulled Amazon India's air purifier results on the same day, and the striking thing is how little the two catalogues overlap. Reliance Digital carries Dyson and LG, which Amazon's popularity-sorted results did not return at all. Amazon's results carry WINIX, Coway, LEVOIT, Xiaomi and Qubo, none of which appeared in this pull.
Where the same model does appear on both, the prices are close. The Eureka Forbes 270 is Rs. 9,099 on both shelves, to the rupee. The Philips AC4221 is Rs. 25,419 here and Rs. 23,367 on Amazon, so Amazon is Rs. 2,052 cheaper on that one machine.
One comparison we are deliberately not making: Reliance Digital lists a Eureka Forbes Smart Air Purifier 355 at Rs. 15,299 while Amazon lists a Eureka Forbes Air Purifier 355 at Rs. 9,999. The model names differ by one word that usually signals a different specification, and we have not verified whether these are the same machine, so we are not presenting that gap as a price difference.

Why does the cheapest listing show 87% off?
Because it is not an air purifier. The Philips HU4706 at Rs. 790 against a stated Rs. 5,995 is a NanoCloud humidifier, a device that adds moisture to dry air. It does not have a HEPA filter and does not remove particulate, so it will do nothing about smoke, dust or PM2.5. It appears in the results because Reliance Digital's search returns it for the query, and its listing title says what it is. We report it and exclude it from the purifier tables rather than counting an 87 per cent badge that belongs to a different category of appliance. If your problem is winter air pollution you need a purifier; if it is dry indoor air, a humidifier is the right machine.
When is the best time to buy an air purifier in India?
Demand rises sharply from October as particulate levels climb across north India, and the machines with the largest filter areas are typically the first to go out of stock. That makes late August and September a sensible window to read the shelf and decide, which is why we pulled it now. We are describing a well-known seasonal pattern rather than forecasting prices: both retailers reprice continuously and we have no way to predict what a specific model will cost in November.
