Reliance Digital Appliance Prices August 2026: Rs. 59 a Litre Up

Three of the Reliance Digital appliances from this August 2026 read - a BPL frost-free double door refrigerator, a Samsung inverter split air conditioner and a Voltas Beko semi-automatic washing machine - shown as they appear on their listing pages
Zoutons Picks — Reliance Digital, August 2026

Twenty-five appliances read on 27 August, Rs. 9,290 to Rs. 1,35,990. Priced per litre, per kilo and per ton, the discount ranking falls apart - and two 1-ton air conditioners turn out to cost exactly the same.

Prices & codes last verified August 27, 2026

We read Reliance Digital's air conditioner, refrigerator and washing machine shelves on 27 August 2026 and seated 25 listings from Rs. 9,290 to Rs. 1,35,990. Two of them are 1 ton 3 star inverter splits priced at exactly Rs. 33,490 - one badged 40 per cent off, the other 4 per cent. Nobody saved anything; the brands printed different MRPs beside the same price. So we priced every listing per litre, per kilo and per ton instead, and the rankings that produces are not the ones the badges suggest.

Every price below was pulled from Reliance Digital on August 27, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Reliance Digital coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

Four rules for buying white goods at Reliance Digital

First: convert every price to rupees per litre, per kilo or per ton before you compare anything, because on this shelf the 24-per-cent Godrej air conditioner is better value per ton than the 40-per-cent Voltas. Second: read the machine type before the per-unit number - the washing machine range from Rs. 1,239 to Rs. 4,813 a kilo is semi-automatic against front-load, not a discount. Third: treat the energy star rating as a running cost and price it, which this shelf lets you do exactly, since Voltas sells the same 1.5 ton at 3 star and 5 star Rs. 11,000 apart. Fourth: weigh the service network on anything with a compressor, because a ten-year appliance is a ten-year service relationship - the same trade we found across Reliance Digital's wider August shelf. Then check the live coupon page before checkout.

What we skipped — and why

What we skipped, and why: three Samsung listings at Rs. 7,990 titled "Side by Side Refrigerator Panel" are replacement door panels rather than appliances, and seating them would have advertised an entry price Rs. 1,300 below anything on this page you can actually wash or chill with. We also left out eight further listings from the same pull - a Whirlpool 411 L, an IFB 9 kg front loader, a Samsung 236 L, a Samsung 7 kg semi-automatic, an LG 8 kg top load, an LG 1.5 ton 5 star, a Samsung 7 kg top load and an LG 7 kg top load - which sit between 9 and 20 per cent and repeat, at slightly different prices, points the cards above already make about tier-one badges. The shelf continues past Rs. 1,35,990 into commercial equipment; the Godrej tower is here as the ceiling of a domestic read rather than as a recommendation for a flat.

What we look for

We compare the price per litre, kilo or ton, not the discount percentage

Because the percentage is arithmetic over an MRP the brand chose and the per-unit figure is arithmetic over what you pay. On this shelf the two disagree constantly: the 24-per-cent Godrej air conditioner is better tonnage value at Rs. 22,993 a ton than the 40-per-cent Voltas at Rs. 33,490, and the 21-per-cent LG fridge is the most expensive litre in the read at Rs. 113.

We name the machine type before we quote a per-unit number

Because the washing machine spread from Rs. 1,239 to Rs. 4,813 a kilo is almost entirely semi-automatic against front-load, and quoting it as a value ranking would be misleading. A semi-automatic needs you to lift wet laundry between two tubs every load, for the life of the machine. That is a different product, not a cheaper one.

We check whether the stated MRP is a price the brand's own shops charge

Every badge above 44 per cent in this pull belongs to BPL, TCL, Kelvinator, Foxsky or Voltas Beko, none of which sets Rs. 60,490 in a showroom and then discounts it. Samsung's and LG's twelve other listings run 4 to 24 per cent because their list prices are prices somebody is asked to pay.

We report the energy star rating as a running cost, with the premium priced

Voltas sells a 1.5 Ton 3 Star at Rs. 35,990 and a 1.5 Ton 5 Star at Rs. 46,990 in the same pull. Two stars cost Rs. 11,000, and whether that returns depends on hours of use - heavy daily use recovers it over several seasons, occasional use never does. We say which way each listing leans.

We render no rating pill, because Reliance Digital publishes none

Not one of the thirty-six listings in this pull carried a rating average or a rating count. That is an absence in the source data, so no card here shows a rating pill and no card implies customer consensus it cannot evidence.

FAQs

Why do two identical air conditioners at Reliance Digital show 40% and 4% off?

Because the discount percentage is calculated against an MRP each brand sets for itself, not against a market price. In our 27 August 2026 read of Reliance Digital's air conditioner shelf, a Voltas 1 Ton 3 Star inverter split was listed at Rs. 33,490 as 40 per cent off a stated Rs. 55,990, and a Samsung 1 Ton 3 Star Bespoke AI inverter split was listed at the same Rs. 33,490 as 4 per cent off a stated Rs. 34,990. Same tonnage, same star rating, same selling price on the same day. The only difference is that Voltas printed Rs. 55,990 beside its price and Samsung printed Rs. 34,990. A shopper sorting by discount would see one and not the other, and would believe they had saved Rs. 22,500 while paying exactly what the undiscounted-looking machine costs. Read the selling price, then convert it to rupees per ton.

What is a good price per ton for a split AC in India?

In this read the range was Rs. 18,993 to Rs. 33,998 a ton, which is wide enough that the figure is worth calculating before you buy. The best value was a Hisense IntelliCool 1.5 Ton 3 Star at Rs. 28,490, or Rs. 18,993 a ton. A Godrej 1.5 Ton 3 Star at Rs. 34,490 came to Rs. 22,993 a ton despite carrying only a 24 per cent badge. At the other end, the Voltas 1 Ton 3 Star at Rs. 33,490 works out at Rs. 33,490 a ton, and the 4 Ton Godrej tower at Rs. 33,998 - so buying in bulk bought nothing here. One important caveat: per-ton figures are only comparable at the same star rating, because a 5 star unit legitimately costs more per ton than a 3 star. In this pull Voltas sold the same 1.5 tons at 3 star for Rs. 35,990 and at 5 star for Rs. 46,990, so budget roughly Rs. 11,000 for two stars.

Is a semi-automatic washing machine worth it to save money?

It depends entirely on whether you will accept the daily work, not on the price. A semi-automatic has two separate tubs and you lift soaking laundry from the wash tub to the spin tub by hand, every load, for the life of the machine. It does not fill itself from the tap and cannot be started and left. In this read the two semi-automatics were Rs. 9,290 (Foxsky 7.5 kg) and Rs. 9,990 (Voltas Beko 7.5 kg), against Rs. 14,790 for the cheapest fully automatic - so the saving is roughly Rs. 4,800. What semi-automatics genuinely offer beyond price is much lower water use, simple repairability by any local technician, and tolerance of the low or intermittent water pressure that stops automatic machines filling. That last point is the real reason they remain common. If your supply is reliable and you value unattended running, pay the Rs. 4,800.

Is the BPL 365 L refrigerator at 60% off actually a good deal?

It is a good price and a questionable discount, and those are separate questions. The 60 per cent is calculated against a stated Rs. 60,490 that BPL set itself - there is no showroom network charging that and then marking it down, so treat the percentage as decoration. What survives scrutiny is the per-litre figure: Rs. 23,990 for 365 litres gross is Rs. 66 a litre, against Rs. 102 for the 240 L Haier and Rs. 113 for the 225 L LG in the same read. The listing states 338 L net, so about 27 litres of the headline capacity is structure. The real compromises are the 2 star energy rating, which on a frost-free machine running continuously for a decade is a running cost you pay to the electricity board, and the service network, which is thinner than Haier's or LG's. For volume per rupee it is the clear winner on this page; for a ten-year ownership case it is a genuine trade-off.

Does Reliance Digital show customer ratings on its appliance listings?

Not on any of the thirty-six listings we pulled on 27 August 2026 across the air conditioner, refrigerator and washing machine categories. Every one returned a price, a stated MRP, a discount percentage and an image, and none returned a rating average or a rating count. That is why no card on this page renders a rating pill: we only show one where the retailer publishes real marketplace data behind it, and here there is none to show. It also means this page cannot tell you anything about reliability, delivery or installation experience from customer consensus, and we have not substituted ratings from other retailers, which would describe different stock, different sellers and different service. Specifications quoted here are read from the listing names and descriptions as printed; we have not tested, installed or measured any appliance on this page.

More Reliance Digital coverage on Zoutons

How Zoutons picks deals Zoutons may earn a commission when you buy through links on this page. Every selling price, stated MRP and discount percentage here was read on 27 August 2026 from reliancedigital.in's own category listings for air conditioners, refrigerators and washing machines - twelve rows returned per category, thirty-six in total. Twenty-five are seated here, chosen for price spread, appliance type and brand tier after removing every listing whose product photograph duplicated one already used. Three Samsung listings titled "Side by Side Refrigerator Panel" at Rs. 7,990 were removed before selection because they are replacement door panels rather than appliances. None of the thirty-six listings carried a rating average or a rating count, so no card on this page renders a rating pill and nothing here reports customer consensus. Capacities, tonnages, star ratings, materials and features are quoted from the listings as printed and are reported rather than inspected: we have not handled, installed, run or measured any appliance on this page, and where a listing does not state a specification - spin speed on the Haier 7 kg, for instance - we have not inferred one. The rupees-per-litre, per-kilo and per-ton figures are our own arithmetic over the listing's stated capacity and its selling price; where a listing states both gross and net capacity we have used the headline figure and said so. Refrigerator per-litre figures use gross capacity and are therefore not directly comparable between frost-free and direct-cool machines. Washing machine per-kilo figures span semi-automatic, fully automatic top-load and front-load machines, which are different products rather than differently priced versions of one product, and every card names its type. An MRP is the figure the listing shows and we have not verified that any unit was sold at it, so every discount percentage here is arithmetic over Reliance Digital's own two numbers rather than a measured saving; where a stated MRP looks implausible against the brand's retail presence, the card says so. Energy-cost commentary is general guidance about star ratings and hours of use, not a calculation for any particular tariff, room or household. Prices change frequently and can differ at checkout after a coupon, exchange offer or bank discount - re-check before paying.
