Zoutons Picks — Reliance Digital, August 2026

Prices & codes last verified August 21, 2026

We read 71 Reliance Digital listings across six aisles on 21 August 2026 and seated 22, priced from Rs. 4,988 to Rs. 82,990. The badge is decided per listing, not per brand: Acer's four run 21 to 64 per cent while Samsung's eight all sit between 15 and 28. Acer and Xiaomi state the same Rs. 24,999 behind a 32-inch television and charge Rs. 8,999 and Rs. 13,999 for it. Reliance Digital publishes no rating on any listing here, so read the star rating, the capacity and the processor instead.

Every price below was pulled from Reliance Digital on August 21, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Reliance Digital coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

“Two refrigerators state MRPs five hundred rupees apart. Their prices are twenty-one thousand rupees apart.” Zoutons Editorial Team

Four rules for buying appliances from a big-box chain

First: read the BEE star rating as part of the price, because an air conditioner or refrigerator runs for a decade and the efficiency gap outlives the discount - on this page the five-star air conditioner is also the cheaper one. Second: ignore the badge, since one brand here spans 21 to 64 per cent across four products. Third: check the specification word that decides the category - solo versus convection, top-load versus front-load, Celeron versus Ryzen. Fourth: compare against another chain before paying, the same discipline we applied in Croma vs Reliance Digital vs Vijay Sales, because the same model often sits at three different prices in three stores on the same day.

What we skipped — and why

What we skipped, and why: forty-nine of the 71 listings, mostly to avoid seating three near-identical machines from the same brand in the same aisle - LG alone returned nine listings and Samsung eight, and a page ranking four LG microwaves against each other tells you nothing one of them cannot. We dropped two listings that are not appliances at all: Samsung side-by-side refrigerator door panels at Rs. 7,990 each, which the refrigerator query returned and which are decorative cladding rather than a fridge. We dropped listings whose photographs duplicate a seated pick, which on this shelf mostly meant colourways of the same television. And we dropped nothing for a poor rating, because there are no ratings here to drop anything for - Reliance Digital published none on any of the 71 rows we read. Prices above Rs. 82,990 were outside the read: our six queries returned nothing dearer, which is itself worth noting about what this chain surfaces first.

What we look for

We rank by the price you pay, because the badge is a per-listing decision even inside one brand

Acer's four listings in this read carry badges of 21, 41, 59 and 64 per cent. LG's nine run from 19 to 49. Kelvinator's three run 17 to 52 and Morphy Richards prints 48 and 63 on two colours of the same 20-litre microwave. Against those, Samsung's eight listings all fall between 15 and 28 per cent and Asus's two sit at 6 and 17. So you cannot learn a brand's discount policy and apply it to its next listing - the number is set per row. The clearest single pair: Acer and Xiaomi both state Rs. 24,999 behind a 32-inch HD-Ready smart television, then charge Rs. 8,999 and Rs. 13,999 for it.

Reliance Digital publishes no rating on any listing in this read, so no card here carries a rating pill

Across all 71 listings returned by our six queries - television, air conditioner, refrigerator, washing machine, microwave and laptop - not one carried a rating or a rating count. That is not a sampling artefact; it is what the store's product data contains. It means the evidence available on this shelf is the specification and the price, and nothing else, which is why every card on this page argues from BEE star ratings, capacity, panel type and processor rather than from what buyers said. If you want crowd evidence on a specific model, the manufacturer's own listing on a marketplace will usually have it.

We read the efficiency rating as a price, because on this shelf it often inverts the ranking

A BEE star rating is a running-cost figure, and appliances on this page will run for ten to fifteen years. Two examples make the point. The Voltas 1.5-ton five-star air conditioner costs Rs. 36,490 and the LG 1.5-ton three-star costs Rs. 40,990 - so the more efficient machine is also the cheaper one to buy, and will stay cheaper every summer it runs. The BPL 365-litre refrigerator at Rs. 23,990 is two-star where the Whirlpool 250-litre at Rs. 31,090 is four-star with an inverter compressor, so the seven-thousand-rupee gap buys back some of itself in electricity. We have named the star rating on every appliance card.

We name the processor, the panel and the format, because those decide the purchase and the badge does not

The Acer Aspire 3 at Rs. 39,999 carries the largest laptop badge in this read at 41 per cent and runs an Intel Celeron, the entry-level part most likely to feel slow inside a year. The Asus Vivobook Go at Rs. 42,990 carries a 17 per cent badge and runs a Ryzen 3 with a 1TB SSD. Three thousand rupees separates them and the cheaper one is much the worse machine. The same applies across the aisles: solo, grill and convection are three different microwaves; top-load and front-load are two different washing machines; and Full HD at 43 inches is a specification most people cannot distinguish from 4K at normal viewing distance. We have said which is which on every card.

FAQs

Which TV should I buy from Reliance Digital in August 2026?

It depends on the room, and the sizes here make the choice fairly clean. For a main living-room set, the Samsung 43-inch 4K at Rs. 29,990 is our pick - Samsung's eight listings in this read all carry badges between 15 and 28 per cent, which is the tightest and most credible MRP band on the page, and 4K at 43 inches from a first-tier brand at under thirty thousand is a fair price. If you want the largest screen for the least money, the Acer 40-inch Full HD at Rs. 15,999 is the strongest raw value in the read. If you want 43 inches on a budget, the Xiaomi A Series at Rs. 21,999 is Full HD rather than 4K, a difference most people cannot resolve at a three-metre viewing distance. For a bedroom, the Acer 32-inch at Rs. 8,999 is enough - just ignore the Rs. 24,999 MRP printed behind it.

Why do Reliance Digital discounts vary so much between similar products?

Because the MRP behind each badge is entered per listing rather than set by a brand-wide policy, and single brands in our read prove it. Acer's four listings carry badges of 21, 41, 59 and 64 per cent. LG's nine run from 19 to 49. Kelvinator's three run 17 to 52. Morphy Richards prints 48 and 63 per cent on two colours of the same 20-litre solo microwave. Against those, Samsung's eight listings all fall between 15 and 28 per cent and Asus's two sit at 6 and 17. The single cleanest example: Acer and Xiaomi both state Rs. 24,999 behind a 32-inch HD-Ready smart television, then sell them at Rs. 8,999 and Rs. 13,999. Read the rupee price and the specification; the percentage is telling you about a field in a database.

Is a 5-star AC worth the extra money over a 3-star?

On this page you do not even pay extra for it, which is the unusual part. The Voltas 1.5-ton five-star convertible inverter split is Rs. 36,490 and the LG 1.5-ton three-star inverter split is Rs. 40,990 - so the more efficient machine is Rs. 4,500 cheaper to buy as well as cheaper to run. In the normal case, where a five-star unit does cost more, the arithmetic is still usually in its favour: BEE star ratings measure the seasonal energy efficiency ratio, an air conditioner runs for ten to fifteen years, and in most Indian cities a five-star 1.5-ton unit saves enough electricity annually to repay a few thousand rupees of premium within about three to four summers. The one caveat is usage - if the machine runs two hours a night for two months a year, the payback stretches out a long way.

Why are there no customer ratings on Reliance Digital listings?

We cannot tell you why, only that there are none. Across all 71 listings our six queries returned on 21 August 2026, not one carried a rating or a rating count in Reliance Digital's product data. That is a store-level characteristic rather than a gap in what we read. The practical consequence is that this shelf gives you no crowd evidence at all, so the only things available to judge a product on are the specification, the brand's service record and the price. Our advice, if crowd evidence matters to you for a specific model: look the exact model number up on a marketplace that does publish review counts, read the rating there, and then come back and compare prices. The model numbers are printed in full on every card on this page for exactly that reason.

Do bank offers and exchange work on top of these Reliance Digital prices?

Bank card discounts and exchange value at Reliance Digital are applied at checkout on top of the listing price, and on large appliances they are frequently the biggest single reduction available - often larger than the difference between two comparable models. Exchange in particular is worth pricing before you decide: an old refrigerator or air conditioner traded in can move the effective price by several thousand rupees, and the quoted exchange value varies by model and condition, so it is not something we can put a figure on here. We did not test any code or exchange quote at checkout for this page and will not quote a saving we have not seen applied. What this read gives you is the baseline on 21 August 2026 - Rs. 4,988 for the cheapest listing, Rs. 24,990 for the cheapest inverter split AC, Rs. 29,990 for a 43-inch 4K Samsung, and Rs. 82,990 for the dearest machine here.

More Reliance Digital coverage on Zoutons

How Zoutons picks deals Zoutons may earn a commission when you buy through links on this page. Every price, stated MRP and discount percentage here was read on 21 August 2026 from Reliance Digital's own product data across six queries: television, air conditioner, refrigerator, washing machine, microwave and laptop. Seventy-one listings came back carrying both a price and a stated MRP; the 22 seated here were chosen for spread across aisle, brand and price band. Reliance Digital prices change frequently and can differ once a store offer, bank offer or exchange value is applied at checkout - re-check before paying. An MRP is the figure the listing states and we have not verified that any product here was ever sold at it; the contrasts this page is built on - Acer and Xiaomi stating the same Rs. 24,999 on 32-inch televisions they sell Rs. 5,000 apart, and BPL and Samsung stating MRPs five hundred rupees apart on refrigerators priced twenty-one thousand apart - are arithmetic over the rows we read, not allegations about any brand or seller. Capacities, BEE star ratings, panel types, processors and feature names are quoted from Reliance Digital's own listings and are reported rather than verified; we have not installed, run or tested any product on this page, and statements about running cost and viewing distance are general descriptions of how those specifications behave rather than measurements of these units. No listing in this read carried a rating or rating count, which is why no rating appears anywhere on this page.
