72 listings read from PUMA's own category pages on August 8. Half price or full price, and almost nothing in the middle.
PUMA India is not running a named sale. What its homepage does carry is two member offers - a 20 per cent welcome discount and a 20 per cent birthday reward - so we read three of its category pages on August 8 to see what the underlying prices look like. Seventy-two listings, and the shelf turns out to have two prices: 28 items carry no discount at all, and 32 of the 44 that do sit between 45 and 55 per cent off. Four listings in the entire pull fall anywhere in between. The cheapest thing on the shelf is in the undiscounted group, so this is not about price - it is about which half of the catalogue a product is in. The 23 picks below carry the member-code arithmetic on every card.
Every price below was pulled from PUMA on August 8, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our PUMA coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.
Six listings badged 52 to 55 per cent, the deepest discounts on PUMA's own site today. Thirty-two of the 44 discounted listings in this pull sit between 45 and 55 per cent, which means the badge cannot rank anything inside this group - a 55 and a 52 are describing the same decision. What separates these picks is what the shoes are for.
Rs. 3,149 against Rs. 6,999 - 55 per cent, the deepest of 72 listings.
Why it earned its spot It opens the page as the deepest discount PUMA gives anything on its own site today.
Rs. 3,599 at 55 per cent - the largest cut on a lifestyle silhouette here.
Why it earned its spot It matches the deepest badge on the page and does it on one of the brand's better-known sneaker shapes.
Rs. 3,359 at 52 per cent, one of nine listings sharing that exact number.
Why it earned its spot Nine listings at exactly 52 per cent is the second-largest cluster on this shelf, and this is its cheapest shoe.
Rs. 3,599 at 52 per cent, on a licensed motorsport collaboration.
Why it earned its spot Licensed collaborations usually hold price; this one is discounted exactly like the house lines.
Rs. 4,319 with Rs. 4,680 off - the biggest saving among discounted listings.
Why it earned its spot It carries the largest actual rupee discount on this shelf, which is a different pick from the deepest badge.
Rs. 1,199 at 52 per cent - the cheapest listing here that carries a discount at all.
Why it earned its spot It sets the floor of the discounted half, and the floor of the full-price half is Rs. 300 above it.
Six listings from Rs. 1,649 to Rs. 7,199, four of them badged at precisely 50 per cent - the largest single cluster on this shelf. The chapter ends where PUMA's NITRO performance foam begins, and the badge drops ten points the moment it does. Every listing here would take a further 20 per cent from the welcome code PUMA advertises on its own homepage.
Rs. 3,999 from Rs. 7,999 - one of ten listings at exactly 50 per cent.
Why it earned its spot Ten listings sit at exactly 50 per cent, the largest single cluster on this shelf.
Rs. 4,499 at 50 per cent, Rs. 180 above the women's Vibrant in Chapter One.
Why it earned its spot Two versions of one silhouette, two points of badge apart, which is the whole spread this shelf offers.
Rs. 4,999 at 50 per cent - the most expensive listing in the discounted half.
Why it earned its spot It is the ceiling of what this shelf discounts by half, and Rs. 17,000 below the ceiling of what it does not.
Rs. 1,649 at 50 per cent, on the label's most basic logo piece.
Why it earned its spot It shows the discounting reaching PUMA's evergreen core rather than only its ageing silhouettes.
Rs. 7,199 at 40 per cent - the badge drops ten points as the shoe gets technical.
Why it earned its spot It is the first NITRO-foam performance shoe on the page, and the discount immediately shrinks.
Rs. 4,499 at 40 per cent - a full tracksuit for the price of one discounted sneaker.
Why it earned its spot It is the only two-piece set on the page, and it costs the same as a single mid-range shoe here.
Five listings between 20 and 40 per cent - a band that holds only a handful of this shelf's 72 listings. Two of them are the same shoe: the Magnify NITRO 3 appears at Rs. 8,999 badged 40 per cent and at Rs. 9,749 badged 35, against an identical stated MRP of Rs. 14,999. The only way to see that is to read the prices rather than the badges.
Rs. 8,999 at 40 per cent, against an identical stated MRP as the listing below.
Why it earned its spot It is half of the sharpest fact on this shelf: one shoe, one stated MRP, two prices on the same category page.
Rs. 9,749 at 35 per cent - the identical model and MRP as the pick above.
Why it earned its spot The other half of the pair, seated so the difference is visible rather than buried in a grid.
Rs. 6,299 at 30 per cent - one of only four listings between 1 and 44 per cent.
Why it earned its spot It sits in the near-empty middle of this shelf, where only four of 72 listings live.
Rs. 5,599 at 30 per cent - the most expensive t-shirt in the pull.
Why it earned its spot It prices the top of PUMA's clothing range here, and it is worth asking what a Rs. 5,599 t-shirt is.
Rs. 3,599 at 20 per cent - the only listing on the shelf below 30.
Why it earned its spot It is the single shallowest discount in the pull, and the last stop before the full-price half.
Six listings at full price, from Rs. 1,499 to Rs. 21,999 - part of the 28 in 72 that carry no discount whatsoever. The cheapest listing in the whole pull is in this group, so this is not the expensive half; it is the current half. Here the two member offers PUMA advertises are the only reduction available, and on the Rs. 21,999 shoe that is worth Rs. 4,400.
Rs. 21,999 at full price - the dearest listing in the pull and no badge on it.
Why it earned its spot It opens the full-price half at the top of the range, where 20 per cent of the price is Rs. 4,400.
Rs. 9,999 at full price - one of eight Speedcat listings, all of them undiscounted.
Why it earned its spot The Speedcat is the shape PUMA is currently pushing, and not one of its eight listings here carries a badge.
Rs. 6,999 at full price, from the silhouette PUMA leads its own homepage with.
Why it earned its spot It is the second undiscounted current-line shape, and it prices what PUMA thinks its front page is worth.
Rs. 16,999 at full price - the top of the women's range with no badge on it.
Why it earned its spot It shows the full-price rule holding across both halves of the shoe catalogue, not just the men's.
Rs. 5,499 at full price - the official jersey, undiscounted.
Why it earned its spot Licensed cricket kit is the clearest case of a product whose price is set by demand rather than by season.
Rs. 1,499 at full price - the cheapest thing in the pull, and no badge on it.
Why it earned its spot It closes the page by proving the split is not about price: the cheapest listing on the shelf is also undiscounted.
Four rules the numbers here support. First: stop comparing badges within the discounted half, because 32 of 44 listings sit in a ten-point band and a 55 against a 50 tells you nothing about either shoe. Second: on anything in the full-price half, the member offers are the whole of the available discount - 20 per cent of Rs. 21,999 is Rs. 4,400, which is more money than the largest rupee cut anywhere in the discounted half, so signing up before checkout matters more than timing. Third: check whether the model you want appears more than once; the Magnify NITRO 3 sits on one category page at Rs. 8,999 and Rs. 9,749 against the same stated MRP, and only the left-hand column reveals it. Fourth: buy on what the shoe is for rather than on which half it is in - the NITRO performance line is barely discounted and the lifestyle silhouettes are heavily discounted, and those are different products for different feet. Member terms, exclusions and stacking rules are PUMA's and change without notice; current codes and card offers are tracked on our PUMA coupons page, re-verified daily by the deals desk.

On August 8, 2026 we read three in.puma.com category pages - men's shoes, women's shoes and men's clothing - each of which renders 24 product tiles server-side, and kept every listing publishing a price. That produced 72 listings, which is the denominator for every count on this page. PUMA paginates the remainder client-side, so this is one page of each category rather than the catalogue, and every figure here carries that limit. Prices and stated MRPs are read from the tiles PUMA itself renders; a listing showing a single price is recorded as undiscounted.
Twenty-eight of the 72 listings carry no discount at all. Of the 44 that do, 32 fall between 45 and 55 per cent, and the individual values cluster hard: ten at 50 per cent, ten at 45, nine at 52, five at 40, four at 30, three at 55. Exactly four listings sit anywhere between 1 and 44 per cent and only one is below 30. The page is built around that split because it is the dominant fact on the shelf. We can measure it and we do not explain it; season, stock age and brand strategy are all plausible and none is visible from a category page.
PUMA's homepage carries two member offers on the day we read it: a 20 per cent welcome discount and a 20 per cent birthday reward. We have not named or implied any sale event, because none is running on the site. Where this page computes what a member code would do to a price, that is our arithmetic on the listed price and nothing more - eligibility, exclusions, stacking rules and whether either offer applies to a given product or account are set by PUMA and should be checked at checkout. We do not know whether either code applies to the full-price listings in Chapter Four.
The Magnify NITRO 3 women's running shoe appears twice in this pull, at Rs. 8,999 badged 40 per cent and Rs. 9,749 badged 35, against the identical stated MRP of Rs. 14,999. Both tiles were rendered on the same category page on the same day and differ in colourway. We seated both, adjacent, because a Rs. 750 gap between two listings of one model is a fact a shopper needs and no badge surfaces it. Several other models - Speedcat, Palermo, Softride Enzo Evo - also appear multiple times, and where those duplicates share a price we seated one.
Not one of the 72 product tiles in this pull publishes a star rating or a review count, so no rating pill appears on any pick and nothing here is ranked by score. Every description of what a shoe is for - cushioning levels, plate construction, race against training use, fabric behaviour - is our reading of PUMA's own product naming and line structure, not a test result. We have not worn, run in or washed anything on this page, and where a listing makes a claim about comfort, foam or breathability we report it as the listing's claim.
Not a named one, on the evidence of PUMA's own site. When we read in.puma.com on August 8, 2026 the homepage carried two member offers - a 20 per cent welcome discount for new members and a 20 per cent birthday reward - and no sale event. What the category pages do carry is a set of standing markdowns: 44 of the 72 listings we read are discounted, 32 of those between 45 and 55 per cent. That is not a sale in the sense of a time-boxed event; it is how the shelf sits. The practical consequence is that waiting for a sale to be announced is unlikely to change these prices much, and the member offers are the lever that is actually available today.
We can describe the pattern precisely and we cannot explain its cause. Twenty-eight of the 72 listings we read carry no discount, and they are not the expensive ones - the cheapest listing in the whole pull, a Rs. 1,499 graphic tee, is among them. What the undiscounted group has in common is that it is PUMA's current attention: eight Speedcat variants, four Palermo variants, the PUMA x HYROX and PUMA x F1 collaborations, the current RCB cricket kit. Meanwhile older lifestyle silhouettes like the Mayze and the RS-X are half price. The clearest single illustration is that the RS-X Soft and the Speedcat both carry a Rs. 9,999 list price, and one sells at Rs. 4,999 while the other sells at Rs. 9,999.
We do not know, and we would rather say so than guess. PUMA's homepage advertises a 20 per cent welcome discount and a 20 per cent birthday reward for members; the terms, exclusions and whether either applies to already-reduced items are set by PUMA and are not visible from a category page. Everywhere this article computes a member price, that is our arithmetic applied to the listed price on the assumption that the offer applies, and it should be verified in the cart before you rely on it. What is worth noting either way is where such a code is worth most: on the 28 undiscounted listings, where there is no other reduction available, 20 per cent of a Rs. 21,999 racing shoe is Rs. 4,400 - more money than the largest rupee discount anywhere in the discounted half of this shelf.
The cheaper one, unless the colour is the point. The Magnify NITRO 3 women's running shoe appears twice on the pages we read: at Rs. 8,999 badged 40 per cent and at Rs. 9,749 badged 35, against an identical stated MRP of Rs. 14,999. Both tiles rendered on the same category page on the same day and the difference is the colourway. Seven hundred and fifty rupees is a real amount of money for a difference most buyers would not care about, and no discount badge surfaces it - the 35 per cent listing and the 40 per cent listing look equally like deals. This is a general habit worth forming on brand-owned sites: search the model name and compare the left-hand prices across every listing before adding one to the cart.
It depends on how far and how fast you run, and this page prices the whole ladder. For someone running three or four times a week at an unhurried pace, the Electrify NITRO 4 at Rs. 6,299 is the everyday trainer of the line and the sensible default. For long slow distances where cushioning matters most, the Magnify NITRO 3 at Rs. 8,999 has the most foam underfoot. The Liberate NITRO 2 at Rs. 7,199 is lighter and firmer, built for faster training rather than for beginners. At the top, the Deviate NITRO 4 at Rs. 16,999 and the HYROX Deviate Elite 4 at Rs. 21,999 are plated race shoes with a lifespan measured in a few hundred kilometres - specialist equipment rather than better versions of the others. Note that the whole performance line is discounted far less than the lifestyle shoes on this shelf, which is the opposite of how most people shop it.
