Lenovo's Education Store Is the Real Student Deal — Here's the Stack

Who qualifies, and how verification works

Students, teachers, and the parents buying for them.

The Education Store covers enrolled students and teaching staff of recognised institutions — verification runs through Lenovo's ID-check flow (UNiDAYS-style: institutional email, student ID or admission letter), takes minutes, and unlocks the education pricing on the account. Parents buying for an admitted child verify with the student's documents, which is how most first-laptop purchases actually happen. Registration itself is free; the up-to-10% then shows as education pricing across the store.

Three verified codes layer over education pricing this month: EXTRASAVINGS takes a flat Rs. 1,500 sitewide and is the default add; VISALAPTOP2000 takes a flat Rs. 2,000 off laptops paid on Visa cards; and CUSTOMOFF takes Rs. 7,500 off customisable builds — relevant if you're speccing a ThinkBook or Legion to order. Where student money should actually go

The stack order, and the July timing

Sequence the layers; don't wait for Diwali.

Order: verify first (education pricing recalculates the base) → apply EXTRASAVINGS or the Visa code, whichever is larger for your cart → pay on the card that carries the running cashback offer. On a Rs. 60,000-sticker IdeaPad, education pricing plus code plus card routinely lands Rs. 48,000-52,000 paid.

Timing: student-focused pricing peaks with admission season — late July through August — and Lenovo's festive-season sales later in the year are broader but not student-stacked.
