Nine listings in the read sell for between Rs. 276 and Rs. 305, and their badges read 86, 71, 70, 70, 69, 64, 50, 44 and 40 per cent - the same money, nine different percentages, because each seller states its own MRP. Across the shelf those stated MRPs run from 1.02 to 7.24 times the selling price. The mats with the biggest badges are not cheaper; several of them have almost no ratings behind them.

Second: read the stated MRP as a multiple of the price. Anything above about 4x is telling you about the seller's pricing rather than about the mat; the median across our 67 listings is 3.20x and the maximum is 7.24x. Third: check whether the rating count belongs to the mat. 185,947 ratings appear under three Quick Shel listings here and 17,076 under two VIFITKIT ones, so a huge number under a specific colour may be feedback on a different mat entirely. Fourth: decide thickness before price. Four millimetres is the budget default, six is the common comfortable choice, and the one eight-millimetre mat in this read costs Rs. 699 - a coherent relationship between specification and money, which is rarer on this page than it ought to be.

Every selling price, stated MRP, discount badge, rating average and rating count on this page was read on 22 September 2026 from flipkart.com's own search results for yoga mats, logged out, in India. 67 listings returned both a selling price and a stated MRP after de-duplicating by product photograph; 21 are seated. Nothing was bought and no seller was contacted.
The MRP multiple stated on every card
Because a discount percentage is only the gap between two numbers the seller chose, every card states the stated MRP as a multiple of the selling price. Across the 67 listings that multiple runs from 1.02 to 7.24 with a median of 3.20. We have not verified that any mat here sold at its stated MRP, and stating a high MRP is legal and commonplace in Indian retail.

In our 22 September 2026 read the cheapest listing is the Flexura 4 mm mat at Rs. 166, followed by the WARISI 4 mm at Rs. 180. Both are basic closed-cell foam. The Flexura has 3.5 from 93 ratings and the WARISI 3.8 from 2,186, so if you want the cheapest mat with a real sample behind it the WARISI is the better of the two. Under Rs. 300 the best-evidenced listings are the Adrenex 6 mm at Rs. 280 (4.1 from 91,298 ratings) and the Lifelong 4 mm at Rs. 229 (4.2 from 3,932).
Why do two yoga mats at the same price show different discounts?
Because the discount is the gap between the selling price and an MRP the seller states, and sellers state whatever they choose. In this read nine listings priced between Rs. 276 and Rs. 305 display badges of 86, 71, 70, 70, 69, 64, 50, 44 and 40 per cent. The 86 per cent mat states an MRP of Rs. 1,999 - 7.24 times its price - while a mat four rupees dearer states Rs. 949. Is a 6 mm yoga mat better than a 4 mm one?
Thicker mats cushion more and are usually preferred for floor work and sensitive knees; thinner mats are lighter, easier to roll and generally felt to be more stable in standing poses. That is the conventional trade and not something we tested - nothing on this page was unrolled or stood on. What the prices show is that thickness costs very little here: the VIFITKIT 6 mm at Rs. 269 is twenty rupees dearer than the same brand's 4 mm at Rs. 249, and the only 8 mm mat in the read, a Fitness Mantra TPE at Rs. 699, carries the best average of the cheaper chapters at 4.4.

Flipkart pools feedback across a seller's related listings. In this pull 185,947 ratings appear under three Quick Shel listings, 43,855 under three YFMATS listings, 10,843 under three more Quick Shel listings, 17,076 under two VIFITKIT listings and 3,932 under two Lifelong listings. Two ArrowMax mats at Rs. 455 share a count of 52 and state MRPs one rupee apart. The counts are real feedback on the range - they are simply not evidence about the specific colour or thickness you are looking at.
Are expensive yoga mats worth it on Flipkart?
The data cannot answer that, and this page will not pretend otherwise - nothing here was practised on. What the listings do show is an inversion: the dearest mats in this read carry the smallest badges and the least evidence. The Rs. 5,495 Wiselife PU rubber mat prints 40 per cent off and publishes no rating at all; the Rs. 3,504 Proase cork mat prints 30 per cent, the smallest badge on the page, and also publishes none. Meanwhile a Rs. 280 mat carries 91,298 ratings at 4.1. If you are spending above Rs. 3,000 you are buying a material - PU rubber, cork - on the specification alone.
