Three hundred and sixty-three Diwali listings read on 4 October. The rating counts repeat to the digit across listings the prices treat as different products.
Rating counts are the one number on a marketplace listing that a seller cannot restyle per colourway, which makes them the most useful thing on this shelf. Four Refulgix string lights in Flipkart's Diwali results on 4 October display an identical 2,850 ratings at 3.9 - and sell at Rs. 56, Rs. 256, Rs. 260 and Rs. 636. The stated difference between the cheapest and the dearest is a colour and a tenth of a metre. Two more brands do the same thing in these results, and the badges above all three groups move independently of the prices below them.
Every price below was pulled from Flipkart on October 4, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Flipkart coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.
Four Refulgix string lights display an identical 2,850 ratings and sell at Rs. 56, Rs. 256, Rs. 260 and Rs. 636. PESCA shows 39,625 ratings on three listings badged 87%, 69% and 45%. MPROW shows 34,675 on two listings 2.54x apart on price. The colour changes; the review pool does not.

A white rice-paper hanging lantern ball at Rs. 445.
Why it earned its spot The best average on this page, attached to the thinnest sample on this page.
A gold iron table lantern at Rs. 553.
Why it earned its spot The second-dearest item seated, with the smallest rated sample in the read.
A rice-paper hanging lantern ball lamp shade at Rs. 696.
Why it earned its spot The ceiling of the seated set, and the end of the range the page measures.
First: read the rating count before the badge. On this shelf an identical count across two listings means one review pool and, in all three cases found here, one described product at several prices - so check whether the cheaper colour of the same light is sitting a few rows down. Second: treat the percentage as arithmetic over two numbers the seller chose. The median badge across 363 listings is 69%, the deepest seated rests on a stated MRP 14.27 times the price, and the two most believable badges on this page read 16% and 24%. Third: divide by the pack size wherever the listing states one plainly. Rs. 367 buys a stated eight lanterns at about Rs. 46 each and Rs. 414 buys one; Rs. 215 buys a stated pair at Rs. 107.50 each, below the cheapest single-lantern listing here. Fourth: expect repeats. One Rs. 90 diya fills nine of the results in a single search under nine keyword-tailed titles, which makes the shelf look far deeper than it is, and 119 of the 363 listings publish no rating at all.

Each selling price, stated MRP, discount badge, star average and rating count on this page was read on 4 October 2026 from flipkart.com's own search results for 'diwali lantern', 'paper lantern hanging', 'akhand diya', 'laxmi ganesh idol' and 'diwali decoration light', two pages each, logged out, in India, with nothing purchased. 363 listings were returned, of which 24 are seated.
Where two or more listings display a rating count matching to the digit, this page treats it as one review pool serving all of them rather than as independent evidence for each. Three such groups appear in this read: four Refulgix listings at 2,850, three PESCA listings at 39,625 and two MPROW listings at 34,675. In every case the listings' stated specifications differ only by colour, and in every case the prices differ - by up to 11.4x. Where a count is unique to one listing we say so, and 119 of the 363 listings publish no rating at all.
Every percentage on this shelf is the gap between a stated MRP and a selling price, both set by the seller. We print the multiple alongside it on every card so the badge can be judged. The median badge across all 363 listings is 69% and the range is 2% to 93%; the deepest badge seated rests on a 14.27x stated MRP and the shallowest on a 1.19x one. We have not verified that any item was ever sold at its stated MRP, and nothing here alleges that any stated MRP is improper.
Several listings here are packs. We print a per-piece figure only where the title names the count unambiguously - the stated set of two at Rs. 215 and the stated eight-pack at Rs. 367 - and we leave the sticker price alone everywhere else rather than guess a count. Where a per-piece figure exists it changes the ranking sharply, which is why the two are never mixed in one comparison on this page.
LED counts, lengths in metres, 'waterproof', 'steady', 'flickering', 'brass', 'metal', 'iron', 'silver plated', 'gold plated', 'rice paper' and every dimension in centimetres are the listings' own printed text, reproduced as printed. We did not buy, unpack, light, hang, weigh or test anything on this page, and nothing here says any item is brighter, safer, solid metal, genuinely plated or longer lasting than any other.
We cannot tell you why, only that it happens and that it is visible in the data. In this read of 363 listings on 4 October 2026, four Refulgix string lights displayed the identical rating count of 2,850 at 3.9 while selling at Rs. 56, Rs. 256, Rs. 260 and Rs. 636, with stated specifications differing only by colour and a tenth of a metre. An identical count to the digit indicates one review pool serving several listings, which is an ordinary and lawful marketplace practice. The practical consequence for a shopper is simple: check the other colours of the same light before buying.
In this read the cheapest listing of any kind was a 40-LED 11.9 m yellow string light at Rs. 56, and a second seller's 56-LED 15 m multicolour set matched that price with more stated LEDs and length. The cheapest stated 20 m set was Rs. 97. These are the prices these five searches returned on 4 October 2026, logged out and in India; search results are ranked, partly personalised and change continuously, so a different reader will not see the same set.
Every percentage is arithmetic over two numbers the seller chose - a stated MRP and a selling price - so it describes the gap between those two figures and nothing else. Across the 363 listings read, the median badge was 69% and the range ran from 2% to 93%; the deepest badge seated here rests on a stated MRP 14.27 times the selling price, while the shallowest rests on a 1.19x one. We have not verified that any item was ever sold at its stated MRP and we allege no impropriety by anyone. Read the multiple, not the percentage.
In this read one glass oil-lamp diya from a single seller appeared nine times at Rs. 90 against a stated Rs. 499, badged 82% every time, with no rating on any of the nine. The titles were identical up to their last few words - 'For Diwali Decor', 'For Home Temple', 'For Table Decor', 'For Daily Pooja' and so on - which are search terms. Listing one product under several keyword-tailed titles is ordinary practice and nothing here suggests otherwise, but it means a results page can be far shallower than its length implies.
We do not predict prices and this page does not. What is confirmed is the timing: Flipkart's own store page dates Big Billion Days 2026 to 8 October for Plus, VIP and Flipkart credit-card early access and 9 October for everyone, with selected products going live at sale prices five days before. This read was taken on 4 October, inside that curtain-raiser window. Given how this shelf's stated MRPs behave - a 14.27x multiple at one end and 1.19x at the other - the Rs. 56 to Rs. 696 range above is a more useful baseline than any badge you will see during the sale.
