Every like-for-like Pack of 2 on Dot & Key costs exactly twice the single. The smaller-tube packs cost more per gram than one big tube.
We read all 150 products in Dot & Key's own product feed on 25 October 2026, then matched every same-product 'Pack of 2' to the single it duplicates — seating a pair only where the pack's published size is exactly double the single's. That gave fourteen clean pairs, and in all fourteen the pack costs the single price multiplied by two, to the rupee. Sunscreen: Rs. 595 for 80g, Rs. 1,190 for 160g. Serum: Rs. 695 for 30ml, Rs. 1,390 for 60ml. Rs. 0 saved, fourteen times out of fourteen. And where a pack uses smaller tubes it is actually dearer per gram than one large single. Below, each pair, with the arithmetic shown.
Every price below was pulled from Dot & Key on October 25, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Dot & Key coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.
The pack of 2 is the single price multiplied by two, to the rupee, on the sunscreen, the serum, the moisturiser and the retinol cream. Rs. 0 saved, four times.

Two 50g tubes cost more per gram than one 80g tube. Two 100g face washes cost more per ml than one 175ml. The 'Pack of 2' label is doing the opposite of what it implies.

Why it earned its spot the same trap in a second category, at a lower price point.
Rs. 498, 200ml, Rs. 2.49 per ml, no discount and no rating published by Dot & Key
Why it earned its spot it closes the page by showing the smaller-unit multipack trap is not a one-off.
First, do not assume the multipack saves money. On this site it has not, in any like-for-like pair we could verify — the pack is the single price times two. Buy the pack for convenience or for a gift, not for a discount. Second, divide by the size before choosing between formats. The 50g two-packs are 20% dearer per gram than the 80g tube, and the 100g face-wash two-packs 16% dearer per millilitre than the 175ml tube. Third, work out mixed bundles yourself. We deliberately did not price the 55 'Duo' and 'Routine' combos because their constituents are not reliably stated; open each product's page and add up the parts. Fourth, expect no markdown here. Not one of the 150 products carried a struck-through price, so if the price matters, compare against the marketplaces and check for a coupon at the cart rather than waiting for the site to go on sale.

Each selling price and pack size on this page came from the product data dotandkey.com itself serves at /products.json, read on 25 October 2026, logged out, from India, with nothing bought. The feed returned 150 products; eighteen are seated below. Every per-unit figure is our own arithmetic, dividing the brand's published price by the brand's published pack size, and the working is shown on each card.
A multipack is only comparable to a single if it contains the same product at the same unit size. We seated a pair only where the pack's own published variant size is exactly double the single's — 80g to 160g, 30ml to 60ml, 175ml to 350ml. That test gave us fourteen like-for-like pairs, of which seven are seated here in full and the rest counted in the totals.
Dot & Key's feed also contains 55 'Combo', 'Duo' and 'Routine' bundles that pair different products. We have not priced those, because working out a bundle's constituents from its title is guesswork and we would rather publish nothing than guess. Everything on this page concerns only the same-product multipacks, and nothing here should be read as a claim about the mixed bundles either way.
Pricing a two-pack at twice the single price is entirely lawful and entirely the brand's choice, and a great many brands do it. Nothing on this page asserts that any price is improper, deceptive or unlawful — we are reporting published figures and the arithmetic that follows from them, as fact and not as allegation. The one thing we do say plainly is that a 'Pack of 2' label does not, here, indicate a bulk saving.
No claim is made about efficacy, texture, scent, shelf life or results, and nothing here is medical or dermatological advice. 'SPF 50+', 'In-Vivo Tested', '10% Vitamin C' and the ingredient claims are Dot & Key's own printed words, reproduced and not independently verified. Patch-test actives and consult a professional about your own skin.
No. On every like-for-like multipack we could match, the pack costs exactly twice the single price — to the rupee. We read all 150 products in Dot & Key's own feed on 25 October 2026 and matched fourteen 'Pack of 2' listings to the single they duplicate, confirming in each case that the pack's published size is exactly double the single's. The results were identical fourteen times out of fourteen. The Cica + Niacinamide Sunscreen is Rs. 595 for 80g and Rs. 1,190 for 160g; the 10% Vitamin C + E Face Serum is Rs. 695 for 30ml and Rs. 1,390 for 60ml; the Barrier Repair Moisturizer is Rs. 599 for 175g and Rs. 1,198 for 350g; the lip balm is Rs. 249 and Rs. 498. The saving is Rs. 0 in every case. This is a perfectly lawful way to price a multipack and many brands do it — but it does mean the 'Pack of 2' gives you no reason to buy it other than convenience.
The 80g tube, and by a clear margin over the 50g two-pack. One 80g tube of Cica + Niacinamide or Watermelon sunscreen is Rs. 595, which is Rs. 7.44 a gram. The '50g Pack of 2' version of the same sunscreens gives you 100g for Rs. 890, which is Rs. 8.90 a gram — 20% more expensive per gram. This is the one case we found where the multipack is actively the worse buy, and it is counter-intuitive precisely because it carries a 'Pack of 2' label and a higher total price, both of which usually signal a bulk rate. If you want more than 80g, two 80g singles give you 160g for Rs. 1,190 — 60g more product than the two-pack for Rs. 300 more, which works out cheaper per gram. The arithmetic here is ours, dividing Dot & Key's published prices by its published sizes.
Not in this read — zero of the 150 products carried any struck-through price at all. Every product in the feed on 25 October 2026 showed one price and no list price above it, which means no percentage badge anywhere in the catalogue. Prices ran from Rs. 99 to Rs. 1,884. We should be precise about what that does and does not mean: it tells you the brand's own product feed published no markdowns on the day we looked, not that Dot & Key never runs an offer. Cart-level promotions, coupon codes, gift-with-purchase offers and marketplace listings on Nykaa, Amazon or Myntra all sit outside this feed and none of them were tested here. The feed does contain 28 products with 'FREE' in the name carrying prices of Rs. 99 to Rs. 399, which appear to be gift-with-purchase SKUs; we have not established how those are applied at checkout and make no claim about them.
The 175ml single tube at Rs. 375, which works out at Rs. 2.14 a millilitre. Dot & Key prices all four of its 175ml face washes — Barrier Repair, Vitamin C + E, Watermelon and Cica + Salicylic — at the same Rs. 375, so the formula does not change the rate. The 350ml 'Pack of 2' is Rs. 750, exactly double, so the per-millilitre price is unchanged at Rs. 2.14 and you save nothing by buying it. The one to avoid on unit price is the '100g, Pack of 2' at Rs. 498: that gives you 200ml at Rs. 2.49 a millilitre, 16% dearer than the 175ml tube. It is cheaper in absolute terms and gives you 25ml more, so it is not a bad buy — it is simply not the bargain its label implies. All per-unit figures are our own arithmetic on the brand's published prices and sizes.
We do not know, and we are not going to guess. Dot & Key's feed contains 55 'Combo', 'Duo' and 'Routine' bundles that pair different products together — a face wash with a moisturiser, a sunscreen with a serum, and so on. Pricing those honestly means identifying exactly which products and which sizes are inside each one, and the bundle titles do not reliably say: a 'Bestseller Face Wash Duo' at Rs. 750 could contain any two of several face washes priced between Rs. 249 and Rs. 375. Rather than publish arithmetic built on assumptions, we have left the mixed bundles out of this page entirely. Everything above concerns only the same-product multipacks, where the pack contains two of one item at a published size we could verify as exactly double the single. If you are weighing a mixed bundle, the reliable method is to open each constituent product's own page, note its price, and add them up yourself — which, given what the same-product packs do here, is worth the two minutes.
