Prices & codes last verified August 9, 2026

The short of it Amazon's own listings, 46 rows read on August 9. Two Samsungs at Rs. 6,799 show 46 and 55 per cent. The 200Hz Dell is 49 per cent off; the 200Hz MSI is 29. A Rs. 329 keyboard set has 23,208 ratings - ten times any monitor here.

We pulled 46 monitor and desk-peripheral listings from Amazon India's own search results on August 9, 2026 and grouped them by screen size before reading a badge. “Two Samsung monitors at exactly Rs. 6,799 on the same shelf, one showing 46 per cent off and the other 55.” Zoutons Editorial Team

Five rules for buying a monitor here

First: filter by size and panel type, not by discount - fourteen 24-inch listings here sit within Rs. 4,300 of each other and their badges span 47 points. Second: read the rating count, because the monitor samples run from 2,338 votes down to none while the peripherals aisle carries five figures, the same lopsidedness this series found when the newest kitchen aisle turned out to be the least documented. Third: spend the upgrade money on resolution rather than refresh rate - the step from 1080p to 1440p at Rs. 18,239 changes a desk more than another 100Hz does. Fourth: treat any claim above about Rs. 20,000 on a 24-inch FHD panel as fiction, the same arithmetic this series ran on six listings claiming MRPs exactly a hundred times their price. Fifth: check bank-card offers at checkout on anything over Rs. 15,000, where they routinely beat the badge.

What we look for

We sorted by price and screen size before reading any badge

Fourteen 24-inch FHD monitors in this read sit between Rs. 5,999 and Rs. 10,299 - a Rs. 4,300 window - while their badges run from 29 to 76 per cent. Two Samsung listings sell at exactly Rs. 6,799 and show 46 and 55 per cent, because one claims Rs. 12,500 and the other Rs. 15,200. Two LG UltraGear panels share a stated Rs. 20,000 and sell Rs. 1,801 apart. When one screen size, one resolution and one price band produce that spread of badges, the discount column is describing the MRP field and nothing else.

We read the rating count before the score, and name where the evidence sits

Forty-five of the 46 listings carry a rating, but the samples are wildly uneven and they concentrate in the cheapest aisle: 23,208 votes on a Rs. 329 keyboard set, 16,083 on a Rs. 999 one and 15,509 on a Rs. 1,346 Dell, against a best-in-class 2,338 on any monitor. One 24-inch listing has no rating at all. We attach a rating pill only where at least a hundred votes exist and print the count on every card, because a 4.5 from 90 people and a 4.3 from 2,166 are not the same claim.

We separate the specification steps that matter from the ones that do not

Inside the 24-inch cluster the panels are near-identical and the money is decided by brand and sample size. The steps that change anything cost real money and are named on the cards: 1920x1080 to 2560x1440 at Rs. 18,239, 27 inches to a 34-inch ultrawide at Rs. 21,999, and 100Hz to 200Hz at around Rs. 9,000. We also say where a specification is oversold - a curve on a 24-inch panel, or the gap between 240Hz and 320Hz - rather than repeating the listing's framing.

We convert every badge to rupees and say when a claim is not credible

The deepest badge in the read, 78 per cent, is on a Rs. 1,115 wired keyboard set claiming Rs. 5,000. The second, 76 per cent, is on a Rs. 5,999 monitor claiming Rs. 24,999. Neither claim reflects a price anyone paid. At the other end, a Logitech set claims Rs. 561 above its price and a Lenovo monitor Rs. 2,791. Those are the listings that look worst on a discount-sorted page and are pricing most plainly, so every card here leads with rupees and the badge comes last.

FAQs

Why do 24-inch monitors on Amazon show such different discounts?

Because the badge is arithmetic against a stated MRP each seller sets for itself. In our August 9, 2026 read of 46 Amazon listings, fourteen 24-inch FHD monitors sold between Rs. 5,999 and Rs. 10,299 - a Rs. 4,300 window - with badges of 29, 36, 42, 46, 49, 51, 55, 58, 60, 61 and 76 per cent. Two Samsung listings sold at exactly Rs. 6,799 and showed 46 and 55 per cent, because one claimed Rs. 12,500 and the other Rs. 15,200. The screens are near-identical; the claims behind them are not, and only the claims are moving.

What is a fair price for a 24-inch monitor in India right now?

Between Rs. 6,800 and Rs. 8,100 for a well-rated FHD panel. In our read, Rs. 6,799 bought a Samsung rated 4.5 from 139 votes or another Samsung rated 4.1 from 915, Rs. 7,199 an LG with the largest monitor sample on the page at 1,218 votes and 4.3, and Rs. 8,098 a BenQ with 2,338 votes at 4.4. Below that, a Rs. 5,999 Zebronics carried 1,885 votes at 3.8 - the weakest score among the well-sampled panels. Above it, Rs. 8,999 bought the highest-rated monitor in the read, an LG at 4.6 from 492 votes.

Is a 200Hz gaming monitor worth it over a 100Hz one?

The first jump matters more than the second. In our read a 100Hz LG office panel was Rs. 7,199 and a 200Hz Dell gaming panel Rs. 8,999 - Rs. 1,800 for double the refresh rate, with 2,166 ratings at 4.3 behind it. Above that, a 240Hz Lenovo Legion was Rs. 10,299 and a 320Hz Acer Predator Rs. 13,555. The practical note is that the step from 60Hz to 100 or 120Hz is the one most people see immediately, and each step after it is smaller and depends on whether your PC can actually render those frames - which no monitor listing will tell you.

Which listings on this page have the most customer evidence?

The cheap peripherals, by a wide margin. A Rs. 329 Zebronics wired keyboard and mouse set carried 23,208 ratings at 3.8, a Rs. 999 Portronics wireless set 16,083 at 4.0, a Rs. 1,346 Dell wireless combo 15,509 at 4.1 and a Rs. 1,115 Dell wired set 4,720 at 4.3. On monitors the best sample was 2,338 votes on a BenQ GW2490 at 4.4, followed by 2,166 on a Dell gaming panel and 1,885 on the cheapest Zebronics. One 24-inch AOC listing had no rating at all. Evidence follows volume, and volume sits at the bottom of the price range.

Should I spend more on resolution or on refresh rate?

Resolution, if the budget reaches it. Everything below Rs. 13,000 in our read was 1920x1080, and the differences between those panels came down to brand and rating count rather than capability. The first genuine step up was a BenQ 27-inch 2560x1440 at Rs. 18,239 with 148 ratings at 4.4, which adds usable desk area rather than just making the same content larger, and above that a 34-inch 3440x1440 ultrawide at Rs. 21,999. The highest refresh panel here, a 320Hz Predator at Rs. 13,555, is a competitive-gaming purchase and does nothing for general use.

How Zoutons picks deals Zoutons may earn a commission when you buy through links on this page. Every price, stated MRP, discount percentage, rating and rating count here was read on August 9, 2026 from amazon.in's own search results across three queries - monitor 24 inch, gaming monitor and keyboard mouse combo - with duplicate product codes removed, and all of them can change without notice. That yielded 46 rows, of which we seated 24. The derived figures we quote - that fourteen 24-inch listings sit between Rs. 5,999 and Rs. 10,299 with badges from 29 to 76 per cent, that two Samsung monitors sell at an identical Rs. 6,799 with different badges, that two LG UltraGear panels share one stated MRP and sell Rs. 1,801 apart, that the largest monitor rating sample is 2,338 against 23,208 on a keyboard set, and the rupee value of every discount - are ours, calculated from those rows. Because our queries fixed the categories, these findings describe the 46 listings we read rather than Amazon's entire display catalogue; nothing above 34 inches or above Rs. 30,000 is represented. A stated MRP is the manufacturer's or seller's own figure and we have not verified that any product here was ever sold at it; where a claim is not credible on its face - Rs. 5,000 for a wired membrane keyboard set, or Rs. 24,999 for an entry 24-inch panel - we say so on the card. Ratings and rating counts are Amazon's own, are not audited by us, and may be pooled across variants of a listing; we have attached a rating pill only where at least a hundred votes exist. We have not plugged in, calibrated, measured or viewed any product on this page. Panel types including IPS and LED, refresh rates in hertz, response times, resolutions, sRGB coverage percentages, brightness in nits, curvature, USB-C power delivery, adaptive sync support and eye-care certifications are quoted from the listings as the manufacturer's or seller's own wording, reported and not endorsed. We have made no assessment of colour accuracy, uniformity, backlight bleed, ghosting, build quality or switch feel. Statements of category convention - that curvature adds little on a 24-inch panel, that the jump from 60Hz to 120Hz is the one most people notice, or that a resolution step changes usable desk area more than a refresh step does - reflect general category understanding rather than any testing we performed. Product images are Amazon's own listing images, rehosted. Warranty terms, seller identity and bank-card offers should be confirmed on the listing before you order.
