Amazon Ceiling Fan Price September 2026: BLDC Fans From Rs. 1,999

We read Amazon India's fan listings on 1 September 2026 across three searches — BLDC ceiling fans, 1200mm ceiling fans and table fans — sorted by popularity, no filters, no account signed in. That is 46 unique listings from Rs. 599 to Rs. 4,099.

Split by motor type, the shelf separates cleanly. A conventional induction 1200mm ceiling fan runs a median of Rs. 1,712; a BLDC 1200mm fan runs Rs. 2,999. That is a premium of about Rs. 1,287, or roughly 75 per cent more for the same sweep.

What you are buying for it is running cost: BLDC fans on this shelf are listed at 28 to 35 W against roughly 70 W for a conventional induction motor. Whether that pays back depends on how many hours the fan actually runs, which is a calculation nobody on the listing page does for you.

The clearest oddity on this shelf takes no arithmetic to see. The atomberg Renesa Enzel 1200mm BLDC appears twice in the results at the same Rs. 3,849 selling price — and with two different stated MRPs.

One listing states Rs. 5,110 and shows a 25 per cent off badge. The other states Rs. 5,660 and shows 32 per cent off. Both carry the same 4.2 rating and the same 48,409 ratings, so it is the same fan and the same review pool, surfaced by two different queries.

Nothing about the fan changes between those two badges. Only the reference price does. It is a small, concrete demonstration of why the percentage is the least reliable number in a listing: the same product, at the same price, on the same day, can advertise two different discounts.

This is still where most Indian ceilings are, and the entry point on this shelf is Rs. 1,229 for an ACTIVA 1200mm with 5,893 ratings. The established names start a little above that: Bajaj Frore at Rs. 1,549, Orient Apex-FX at Rs. 1,649, Crompton SureBreeze at Rs. 1,799.

The one to look at twice is the Havells Ambrose Neo at Rs. 2,290 with 21,905 ratings — the most-reviewed non-BLDC fan here, and the deepest discount in the group at 57 per cent off a Rs. 5,290 stated MRP.

Note also that the group's top end overlaps the BLDC group entirely. The Havells Enticer at Rs. 4,089 is a conventional induction fan priced above eleven of the eighteen BLDC listings, so it is being sold on looks rather than on running cost.

The BLDC group is tighter than its price range suggests. Fourteen of the eighteen listings sit between Rs. 1,999 and Rs. 3,290, and the shape of the group is a challenger-brand floor with the established names above it.

The floor is Rs. 1,999 (LONGWAY Aero, 563 ratings), with DIGISMART and ACTIVA at Rs. 2,099 and Rs. 2,249. The brands most people know start at Rs. 2,699 — atomberg Ameza — and run to Rs. 4,099 for the Orient Proton.

Rating counts vary enormously inside that narrow price band: 50 ratings on the Bajaj Classico, 48,409 on the atomberg Renesa Enzel. Sixteen listings came back from the table-fan search and they are a different market: rechargeable, USB-powered, clip-on and desk units from Rs. 599 up, sold on battery backup rather than air delivery.

This group has the deepest median discount on the shelf at 48 per cent, and the single deepest listing anywhere here — a Gesto rechargeable table fan at Rs. 699, 65 per cent off a stated Rs. 1,999.

The outlier worth knowing is the Bajaj Pygmy Mini at Rs. 1,170 with 18,405 ratings, which is the only listing in this group with a rating base comparable to the ceiling fans. Everything above Rs. 2,700 here is a NUUK rechargeable unit priced into ceiling-fan territory, which is a different value judgement entirely.
