Twenty-six sweaters read on 27 August, Rs. 100 to Rs. 20,000. Twelve share one discount to the decimal, and all twelve belong to labels AJIO's own parent company owns.
We read AJIO's sweater shelf on 27 August 2026 and seated 26 knits from Rs. 100 to Rs. 20,000. Twelve of the 43 listings we pulled are discounted by exactly 75 per cent, and every one of those twelve is a Reliance Retail label sold on AJIO - which Reliance also owns. The number does not move with the garment or the price. Everything from a third-party brand discounts at its own rate, anywhere from 87 per cent down to one.
Every price below was pulled from AJIO on August 27, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our AJIO coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.
Every listing in this band is a Reliance Retail label sold on Reliance's own platform, and every one of them is exactly 75 per cent off - a Rs. 399 pullover and a Rs. 1,499 sweater alike.
Rs. 100 - a hundred rupees, at the flat 75 per cent every FIG listing carries.
Why it earned its spot It is the floor of the shelf, and the discount is the same one all twelve house-label listings show.
Rs. 175 off a stated Rs. 699 - the second of eight FIG listings at an identical rate.
Why it earned its spot A different garment, a different MRP, and the exact same discount percentage.
Rs. 200 at 75 per cent off - and Teamspirit is Reliance's too.
Why it earned its spot The flat 75 per cent is not a FIG policy - it runs across all four house labels here.
A V-neck at Rs. 225 - 75 per cent off, like everything else from this label.
Why it earned its spot Three FIG listings in this read share the Rs. 225 price and the 75 per cent.
A boys' cable-knit sweater at Rs. 225 - and the same flat 75 per cent.
Why it earned its spot Cable knit is the warmest construction here, and this is the cheapest of them.
Rs. 250 for a cable-knit cardigan - the most useful winter shape in India.
Why it earned its spot Cardigans open. In an Indian winter that matters more than insulation does.
Rs. 304 off a stated Rs. 1,217 - an unusual list price, and still exactly 75 per cent.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,217 is not a price anyone would set. It is Rs. 304 multiplied by four.
Rs. 375 - the top of the flat-75 group, and still under Rs. 400.
Why it earned its spot The house labels stop at Rs. 375. Everything above this price is a third-party brand.
Ten listings where the discount starts varying - 87, 78, 82, 60, 49, 30, 70, 49, 68, 72 - because ten different sellers are each setting their own reference price.
87 per cent off a stated Rs. 2,999 - and it sells for Rs. 390.
Why it earned its spot The largest discount claim here, from a brand with no shops to have charged Rs. 2,999.
Rs. 400 at 60 per cent - the first Reliance label here not on the flat 75.
Why it earned its spot DNMX is Reliance's too, and it discounts 60 and 49 rather than a flat 75.
Rs. 418 for a striped knit claiming 78 per cent off Rs. 1,899.
Why it earned its spot A third-party rate that happens to land near the house-label price band.
82 per cent off a stated Rs. 2,499 - and a zip, which almost nothing here has.
Why it earned its spot A zip front gives you a cardigan's ventilation in a men's cut, at Rs. 450.
Rs. 509 at 49 per cent - the same house label, a different discount again.
Why it earned its spot Sixty per cent on one DNMX sweater, 49 on this one. The label prices per garment.
Rs. 559 at 30 per cent - the most modest claim any Reliance label makes here.
Why it earned its spot Both YOUSTA listings discount exactly 30 per cent - another flat rate, at a different level.
Rs. 600 at 70 per cent - the same brand that claims 87 elsewhere on this page.
Why it earned its spot Eighty-seven per cent on one KOTTY listing, 70 on this one, from two different MRPs.
Rs. 662 for a cable-knit chenille sweater - the softest thing on this page.
Why it earned its spot Chenille is a distinct yarn with real properties, and almost nothing here names its material.
Rs. 672 at 68 per cent off - and the listing tells you nothing else.
Why it earned its spot Typical of this shelf's middle: a price, a badge, and no material or construction.
Rs. 812 at 72 per cent off a stated Rs. 2,899.
Why it earned its spot A high neck is the warmest collar shape, and this is the cheapest one here.
Eight listings from brands with shops behind them. The badges shrink to 60, 55, 48, 41 and finally 1 per cent - and the only sweater here made of wool costs Rs. 20,000.
Rs. 1,035 for a WROGN zip-front - a brand with actual shelf presence.
Why it earned its spot A recognisable brand, a modest 55 per cent, and a zip front.
Rs. 1,195, and the title actually says acrylic - which 41 of 43 listings do not.
Why it earned its spot Two listings in this whole read name their material. This is one of them.
Rs. 1,237 for an oversized-fit sweater from a label with real recognition.
Why it earned its spot Oversized is the most forgiving fit to buy online, and this is the cheapest of the three here.
Rs. 1,320 for a Jack & Jones speckle knit - 60 per cent off a stated Rs. 3,299.
Why it earned its spot A Bestseller-group brand with global pricing, at a plausible 60 per cent.
Rs. 1,896 off a stated Rs. 6,320 - Rs. 4,424 off, the largest cash gap on the page.
Why it earned its spot Seventy per cent of a large number is a large number: Rs. 4,424.
Rs. 1,979 at 1 per cent off - the smallest badge in the entire read.
Why it earned its spot One per cent. Twenty rupees. That is what a brand looks like when it holds its price.
Rs. 4,100 for a Tommy Hilfiger cotton sweater - 41 per cent off a stated Rs. 6,949.
Why it earned its spot Cotton rather than acrylic, from a brand whose list price its own stores use.
Rs. 20,000 for a brushed wool crew-neck - and the only wool sweater in the read.
Why it earned its spot The only listing here that names wool, at 200 times the price of the cheapest sweater.
First: check the brand before the badge, because a flat 75 per cent on FIG, Teamspirit, KB TEAM SPIRIT or AVAASA is Reliance marking down Reliance and carries no information at all. Second: look at the stated MRP itself - a round Rs. 799 is a plausible list price and a Rs. 1,217 is a selling price multiplied by four. Third: read the title for a fibre, because only two of the 43 listings here name one, and on a winter garment that is the fact that decides whether it works. Fourth: read the construction and the collar - cable knit is warmer, an eyelet knit is perforated and barely warm at all, and a high neck beats a crew - the same reading that sorted Myntra's sweater shelf. Then check the live coupon page before checkout.

Twelve of the 43 sweater listings in this pull are exactly 75 per cent off and all twelve belong to Reliance Retail labels - FIG, Teamspirit, KB TEAM SPIRIT and AVAASA MIX N' MATCH - sold on AJIO, which Reliance also owns. When one company sets both the MRP and the selling price, the ratio between them is a convention, not a markdown.
One AVAASA cardigan states an MRP of Rs. 1,217. Nobody sets Rs. 1,217 as a list price; it is Rs. 304 multiplied by four to reach a 75 per cent badge. Every other house-label MRP here is a round Rs. 399, Rs. 699, Rs. 799, Rs. 899 or Rs. 999, so this one shows the arithmetic running backwards from the target price.
Only two listings in this entire read name a material: a GLOBUS sweater that says acrylic and a Brooks Brothers crew-neck that says brushed wool. On a winter shelf that is the most decision-relevant fact available, and its near-total absence is worth stating rather than papering over with assumptions.
Cable knit traps more air and is genuinely warmer at the same fibre; an eyelet knit is perforated and is not a warm garment at all; a high neck closes the gap most heat escapes through; chenille is soft but sheds and flattens. These change whether a sweater works for your winter, and no badge reports them.
Not one of the 43 sweater listings in this pull carried a rating average or a rating count. That is an absence in the source data, so no card here shows a rating pill and no card implies a customer consensus it cannot evidence.
Because they belong to labels AJIO's own parent company owns. Twelve of the 43 sweater listings we read on 27 August 2026 carried a discount of exactly 75 per cent, and all twelve were FIG, Teamspirit, KB TEAM SPIRIT or AVAASA MIX N' MATCH - Reliance Retail labels sold on AJIO, which Reliance also owns. When the same company sets the MRP and the selling price, the percentage between them is a pricing convention rather than a markdown anybody competed into, which is why it does not vary with the garment: a Rs. 399 round-neck pullover and a Rs. 1,499 embellished sweater are both 75 per cent off. One listing makes the method visible - an AVAASA cardigan states an MRP of Rs. 1,217, a figure no merchandiser would choose, and which is simply its Rs. 304 selling price multiplied by four. Read the rupee price and ignore the badge on these labels entirely.
The ones carrying the flat 75 per cent in this read were FIG, Teamspirit, KB TEAM SPIRIT and AVAASA MIX N' MATCH. Two more Reliance labels appeared on the same shelf but priced differently, which is worth knowing because it shows the convention is per-label rather than platform-wide: DNMX discounted 60 per cent on one sweater and 49 on another off identical Rs. 999 MRPs, and YOUSTA ran its own flat rate of exactly 30 per cent on both of its listings. So there are at least three different in-house conventions operating on one category page. None of this makes the garments bad - several are the cheapest things on the shelf by a wide margin, and Rs. 100 for a pullover is Rs. 100 whatever the badge says. It means the discount percentage on those labels should play no part in your decision.
Almost none of them say, which is the honest answer. Of the 43 sweater listings we pulled on 27 August 2026, exactly two named a material in the title: a GLOBUS sweater that says acrylic, at Rs. 1,195, and a Brooks Brothers crew-neck that says brushed wool, at Rs. 20,000. The other 41 name no fibre at all. At the prices most of this shelf occupies - Rs. 100 to Rs. 1,500 - acrylic is effectively certain, because wool cannot be made and sold at those numbers, but the listings do not say so and we have not asserted it on any individual card. Acrylic is a reasonable choice for most Indian winters: machine washable, will not shrink, holds colour. It does not breathe, so it feels clammy if you warm up, and it pills at the underarms within a season or two of regular wear.
That the brand intends to sell at its list price, and that is more informative than any large badge on this page. The Souled Store's two sweaters in this pull were 1 per cent and 11 per cent off - twenty rupees off a Rs. 1,999 cable knit in the first case. It is a direct-to-consumer label with its own stores and a strong licensed-design business, so it does not need to manufacture a markdown to attract attention. The same logic runs through the top of this page: WROGN discounts 55 and 38 per cent, Tommy Hilfiger 41, Jack & Jones 60, Brooks Brothers 50 - all moderate, all varying, all from brands whose stated list prices their own shops charge. Compare that with the 87, 82 and 78 per cent claims from online-only labels with no retail presence, where the reference price exists only to be discounted from.
Not on any of the 43 sweater listings we pulled on 27 August 2026. Every one returned a price, a stated MRP, a discount percentage and an image, and none returned a rating average or a rating count. That is why no card on this page renders a rating pill: we show one only where the retailer publishes real marketplace data behind it. It also means this page cannot tell you anything about sizing accuracy, stitching quality or how these knits survive a wash from customer consensus, and we have not substituted ratings from other retailers, which would describe different stock and different sellers. Constructions, collars and fits are read from the listing titles as printed and reported rather than inspected - we have not handled, worn or washed any garment on this page.
