AbhiBus does something useful with its offer terms: it prints the existing-user rate directly under the new-user rate. We pulled all 30 live offers from its own site on 15 October 2026 and read both lines on every one.

The festive code is FESTIVAL — 20% off up to Rs. 200 plus 20% cashback up to Rs. 200 for new users, 8% + 8% for existing ones, Rs. 500 minimum, private buses only, and valid only till 25 October 2026. Read the set together and the pattern is clear: every headline "save upto" number is the new-user number.

Below: every FESTIVAL condition as AbhiBus prints it, a code-by-code comparison of the two ceilings — including the UPSRTC offer headlined "Save upto Rs.500" where an existing user's limit is Rs. 50 — what AbhiBus's three different kinds of "cashback" actually pay, and which offers carry an end date. All quoted verbatim.

"Apply Coupon code UPSRTC at bus booking checkout and save upto Rs.500 on UPSRTC bookings. New users get 10% upto Rs.250 + 10% upto Rs.250 cashback. Existing users get 10% upto Rs.50 cashback."
📅 Update log:
15 October 2026 — First publication. AbhiBus's live offer set pulled from the offers JSON embedded in its own pages, logged out, in India, nothing booked, no coupon applied and AbhiBus not contacted; 30 substantive offers returned. Recorded this read: the FESTIVAL code with its 20%/20% new-user and 8%/8% existing-user rates, Rs. 200 caps on both legs for both groups, Rs. 500 minimum, private-bus-only restriction, 8-25 October journey window and 25 October 2026 end date; the ASSURED, ABHIFIRST, APSRTC and UPSRTC new-versus-existing splits; the AbhiCash wallet mechanic and its post-journey timing; the Amazon Pay scratch-card mechanic with its Rs. 899 minimum, Rs. 20 floor and 31 October 2026 end date; the BHIM instant-cashback offer with its Rs. 199 minimum and 1 August to 31 October 2026 window; and the 27 offers that published no end date. No price, fare or saving is asserted beyond AbhiBus's own published wording. Content verified 15 October 2026.

The AbhiBus FESTIVAL code, and the date it stops

AbhiBus publishes its live offers as structured data on its own site, with the full terms attached to each one. We pulled that payload on 15 October 2026 and it returned 30 substantive offers. One of them is festive, and it is the only one in the set with a dated festive window.

"Apply coupon code FESTIVAL and get 20% off up to Rs. 200 + 20% cashback up to Rs. 200 for new users on their first booking. Existing users get 8% off up to Rs. 200 + 8% cashback up to Rs. 200." The window is tight: "Offer is valid only for journey dates between 8 October 2026 and 25 October 2026", and "The offer is valid till 25 October 2026".

It needs a Rs. 500 minimum booking, it is private buses only — "not applicable on government RTCs" — it works once per user, you must be logged in, and it cannot be combined with any other offer.

Verbatim, from AbhiBus's own offer terms, read 15 October 2026: "Apply coupon code FESTIVAL and get 20% off up to Rs. 200 + 20% cashback up to Rs. 200 for new users on their first booking. Existing users get 8% off up to Rs. 200 + 8% cashback up to Rs. 200. A minimum booking value of Rs. 500 is required to avail the offer. Offer is valid only for journey dates between 8 October 2026 and 25 October 2026."

The headline number is the new-user number, on every code that splits

Reading all 30 offers together shows something the individual offer tiles do not. Where a code treats new and existing users differently, the figure in the headline is always the new-user figure — and on two of these codes the existing-user ceiling is dramatically lower.

The widest gap is UPSRTC. The offer is headlined "Save upto Rs.500". New users get "10% upto Rs.250 + 10% upto Rs.250 cashback", which reaches that Rs. 500. Existing users get "10% upto Rs.50 cashback". Rs. 50 against an advertised Rs. 500 — a tenth of the headline, and the instant discount is gone entirely.

APSRTC does the same thing less steeply. Headlined "Save upto Rs.300"; new users get 10% up to Rs. 150 off plus 10% up to Rs. 150 cashback, existing users get "10% up to Rs.150 Promo AbhiBus Cashback" and no instant discount. FESTIVAL is the fairest of the set: the Rs. 200 caps are identical for both groups and only the percentage moves, 20% to 8%.

Credit where it is due. AbhiBus prints the existing-user line directly underneath the new-user line in its own terms. That is why this comparison is possible at all, and it is more than most travel sites publish. Nothing here suggests the practice is improper — offering a bigger incentive to win a first booking is ordinary commerce. The only point worth making is the practical one: if you have booked on AbhiBus before, read the second line, not the banner.

"Cashback" is three different things here

The word does a lot of work across these 30 offers, and the terms distinguish them carefully enough to be worth following.

On the state-carrier codes it is delayed wallet credit. "The Promo AbhiBus Cashback will be credited to the AbhiCash wallet of the user post journey completion." You get it after you travel, and you get it inside AbhiBus — useful if you book buses often, less so if this is a one-off trip.

On Amazon Pay it is a scratch card. "The cashback will be issued in the form of an Amazon Scratch Card", found "under the Amazon Rewards section", with a stated floor of "a minimum cashback of Rs. 20" against a Rs. 899 minimum transaction and a Rs. 100 ceiling. Once per user per month.

On BHIM it is instant. "Get up to Rs. 75 instant cashback" on a Rs. 199 minimum, once per user per month, "valid from 1 August 2026 to 31 October 2026". Only the "instant discount" leg of any code changes what you actually pay at the moment of booking; everything else arrives later, somewhere else, in some other form.

What has a date on it, and what does not

Three of the 30 offers published an end date when we read them: FESTIVAL to 25 October 2026, Amazon Pay to 31 October 2026, and BHIM from 1 August to 31 October 2026.

The other 27 — RBL300, BUSAU200, VISACC, VISADC, UPIMBK, ABHIZET, IXIGOCCBUS, the operator codes VRL10 and NUEGOAB and NAVEEN500 and MAHA200 and ROYAL30 and PAYAL30, and the state codes APSRTC, TGSRTC, KSRTC, UTC300, GSRTC, OSRTC, UPSRTC, HRTC and RJ100 — published no end date at all.

An absent end date is not a promise of permanence. Every one of these offers carries the same closing sentence: AbhiBus "reserves the right to disqualify any transaction or discontinue the offer promotion at any time without notice or liability of whatsoever nature". Treat the undated codes as live on the day we read them and verify at checkout, which is the only place the real price is settled.

How to use this page

If this is your first AbhiBus booking, the first-booking codes are where the money is: ABHIFIRST at 15% up to Rs. 150 off plus 15% up to Rs. 225 cashback, or FESTIVAL at 20% + 20% if you are travelling before 25 October and spending over Rs. 500 on a private bus.

If you have booked before, ignore the banner figure and find the existing-user line. On FESTIVAL you still get 8% + 8% to the full Rs. 200 caps. On a state-carrier route, check the specific code: APSRTC still gives you Rs. 150 of wallet credit, UPSRTC gives you Rs. 50.

If you are paying by card or UPI, the bank offers do not split by customer age at all — RBL300, BUSAU200, VISACC, VISADC, UPIMBK and ABHIZET apply on the payment instrument, which on a large booking can be worth more to a returning customer than the coupon is. They still cannot be stacked with a coupon.

Every figure on this page is AbhiBus's own published wording on 15 October 2026. Codes, caps, minimums and dates change without notice, and the price shown at your checkout prevails over anything here.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the AbhiBus FESTIVAL coupon code and when does it expire?
FESTIVAL was live on AbhiBus's own offers payload when we read it on 15 October 2026. AbhiBus's wording: "Apply coupon code FESTIVAL and get 20% off up to Rs. 200 + 20% cashback up to Rs. 200 for new users on their first booking. Existing users get 8% off up to Rs. 200 + 8% cashback up to Rs. 200." A minimum booking value of Rs. 500 applies, it is "valid only for journey dates between 8 October 2026 and 25 October 2026", "The offer is valid till 25 October 2026", and it is "valid only for private bus bookings and not applicable on government RTCs". One use per user, logged in, and it cannot be combined with any other offer. AbhiBus states it may discontinue the offer at any time without notice, so check the live page before you rely on it.
Do existing AbhiBus users get the same discount as new users?
On most of these codes, no — and AbhiBus publishes both figures, which is why we can compare them. The widest gap in this read is UPSRTC: the offer is headlined "Save upto Rs.500", new users get "10% upto Rs.250 + 10% upto Rs.250 cashback", and existing users get "10% upto Rs.50 cashback" — a Rs. 50 ceiling against an advertised Rs. 500. On APSRTC the existing-user version loses the instant discount entirely and keeps only the cashback leg. On ASSURED the rate drops from 20% to 8% and the cap from Rs. 250 to Rs. 100 on each leg. On FESTIVAL only the rate moves — the Rs. 200 caps are the same for both. ABHIFIRST is "exclusively for new users on their first booking". Offering a larger incentive to new customers is ordinary and lawful commercial practice; the useful point is simply that the headline number is the new-user number.
Is AbhiBus cashback real money?
It depends on the offer, and the terms say which is which. On the state-transport codes it is wallet credit with a delay: "The Promo AbhiBus Cashback will be credited to the AbhiCash wallet of the user post journey completion." That means it arrives after you travel, not at checkout, and it arrives inside AbhiBus. On the Amazon Pay offer it is a voucher mechanic: "The cashback will be issued in the form of an Amazon Scratch Card", accessed under Amazon Rewards, with "a minimum cashback of Rs. 20" on a Rs. 899 minimum transaction. On BHIM it is "up to Rs. 75 instant cashback" on a Rs. 199 minimum. Only the "instant discount" leg of a code reduces what you pay at the time of booking.
Which AbhiBus offers expire in October 2026?
Three carried dates when we read the payload on 15 October 2026. FESTIVAL is "valid till 25 October 2026" and covers journey dates from 8 to 25 October. The Amazon Pay cashback offer is "valid till 31 October 2026". The BHIM App offer is "valid from 1 August 2026 to 31 October 2026". The other 27 offers in the read — the bank-card codes, the UPI codes, the operator codes and the RTC codes — published no end date at all, which is not the same as being permanent: every one of them carries AbhiBus's line that it "reserves the right to disqualify any transaction or discontinue the offer promotion at any time without notice".
Can I use an AbhiBus coupon on a government bus (RTC) booking?
Not the general codes, but there are dedicated ones. FESTIVAL is "valid only for private bus bookings and not applicable on government RTCs", ASSURED is "valid on private bus operator bookings", and ABHIFIRST is "valid only for private bus bookings, not on SRTCs". Instead AbhiBus runs one code per state carrier, each locked to that carrier: APSRTC and TGSRTC and KSRTC and UTC300 at "upto Rs.300", GSRTC at 10%, OSRTC at 20%, UPSRTC and HRTC at "upto Rs.500", and RJ100 on RSRTC. Each is "valid only once per user" and several state explicitly that they are not valid on any other private or RTC service. Read the existing-user line on the one you plan to use, because that is where the ceilings differ most.

Every coupon code, percentage, cap, minimum booking value, platform restriction, per-user limit and date on this page was read on 15 October 2026 from the offers payload that abhibus.com publishes with its own pages, logged out, from India, with nothing booked, no coupon applied, no payment attempted and AbhiBus not contacted; 30 substantive offers were returned and the quotations are AbhiBus's own wording reproduced as published, with our emphasis marked. Every one of those offers carries AbhiBus's own statement that it "reserves the right to disqualify any transaction or discontinue the offer promotion at any time without notice or liability of whatsoever nature", so a code live when we read it may be withdrawn, re-rated, re-capped or re-dated by the time you read this; 27 of the 30 published no end date at all, which is not a representation that they are permanent. We have not tested, applied or redeemed any code, we have not verified that any code works on any route, operator, date, device or payment method, and we make no representation that any reader will be treated as a new user or an existing user, will qualify for any offer, or will receive any discount or cashback; eligibility is determined by AbhiBus against its own records and terms, not by anything on this page. The price and discount shown at your own checkout prevail over anything stated here. Reporting that an offer pays a new customer more than a returning one, that a headline "save upto" figure corresponds to the new-user ceiling, that cashback is credited to an AbhiCash wallet after journey completion rather than refunded at booking, or that a cashback is issued as a third-party scratch card, is a description of published terms on a date.
