Vijay Sales Appliance Prices September 2026: Air Fryers From Rs. 2,615

We read 127 in-stock listings from six of Vijay Sales' own category pages on 4 September 2026 — fans, air fryers, chimneys, geysers and water heaters, dishwashers, and air purifiers. The first thing the data says is that on this retailer the aisle you walk into decides the discount, and the spread between aisles is enormous.

Fans and air fryers both run a median 44% off. Chimneys 40%, geysers 37%. Then it falls off a cliff: air purifiers and dehumidifiers 21%, dishwashers 18%. That is a 26-point gap between the shallowest and deepest aisle, on the same website on the same morning.

The pattern is legible enough. Air fryers are a crowded category full of small brands competing on price; dishwashers are still a low-penetration appliance in India sold by a handful of large manufacturers. Nothing improper is happening and none is alleged. But it does mean the phrase “on sale at Vijay Sales” means something very different depending on which page you are standing on.

Sort all 127 listings by discount and the top of the list is a single category. Two Lifelong air fryers at 76% off (Rs. 2,949 from a stated Rs. 12,499 and Rs. 2,615 from Rs. 10,999), a KENT at 72%, a Morphy Richards at 68%, a second KENT at 67%, a Pigeon at 62%, a Kenstar at 61%, a Nutricook at 60%. Eight for eight.

Those are also the cheapest useful appliances on the shelf in rupees: seven air fryers sit under Rs. 3,100. The only things cheaper are two Atomberg exhaust fans at Rs. 1,799 and Rs. 2,135 and a NUUK hand fan at Rs. 2,299.

The stated reference prices behind those badges are doing real work — a Rs. 12,499 MRP on a fryer selling at Rs. 2,949 is more than four times the money. We cannot verify whether any stated maximum retail price on this shelf was ever a live selling price, we make no claim either way, and no wrongdoing by Vijay Sales or by any brand named is alleged or implied. What we would say is that if you are buying an air fryer, compare the rupee price against the same capacity elsewhere rather than reading the percentage as a measure of value.

At the other end of the shelf the discounts stop being discounts. Two listings for the Dyson HushJet Compact Air Purifier show Rs. 29,899 and Rs. 29,857 against a stated Rs. 29,900 — a reduction of one rupee on the first and Rs. 43 on the second. Vijay Sales renders both as 0% off, which is the honest rounding.

They are not alone at that end. An IFB 14-place dishwasher is Rs. 48,996 from a stated Rs. 50,190, a 2% cut; its 16-place sibling is 6%. Three Philips air purifiers run 10–14%. IFB's three listings across the sample average out to a 6% median badge, and Philips's four to 14%.

This is the same phenomenon we found on Tata CLiQ's watch aisle the same morning: some manufacturers control the price their product is sold at and some do not, and where they do, the retailer's badge has nothing to work with. A Dyson at 0% off is simply what a Dyson costs here. It is worth knowing before you wait for a sale that is not coming.

Grouped by brand, Atomberg is 20 of the 127 listings — the biggest single name on this reading — at a median Rs. 4,698 and a median 45% off. Faber (11 listings), Racold (10) and Elica (9) follow, all badged 37–41%.

Then the built-in and premium names, and they behave completely differently. Philips's four listings run a median 14% off, IFB's three a median 6%, LG's four 22%, Hafele's four 25%, Bosch's six 28%, Ninja's seven 20%. These are also the expensive listings: LG's median is Rs. 63,990, IFB's Rs. 59,499, Hafele's Rs. 38,990, Bosch's Rs. 34,515.

Read across the price bands and the same thing shows up: a median 44% off below Rs. 5,000, 42% to Rs. 15,000, 32% to Rs. 30,000, and 24% above Rs. 30,000. The discount is smallest exactly where the rupees are largest, which is the opposite of what a shopper hoping to save money on a big-ticket appliance wants to hear.

Not one of the 127 listings carries a star rating or a review count. Vijay Sales does not publish one at the listing layer, so when you compare two air fryers on a category page you have the brand, the price, the specification line and the photograph, and nothing else.

That is not unusual for a bricks-and-mortar chain's website and it is not a criticism. It does change how you should use the site: it is a good place to establish what a thing costs and a poor place to decide which thing to buy. We found the same absence reading AJIO's shoe shelf and Nykaa Fashion's clothing shelf the same morning; Amazon is the contrast, where the appliance listings we read carried a median of 151 reviews each.

Practically: use this page and the category pages to fix your budget, then take the exact model number somewhere with a review pool before you commit.

Know which aisle you are in. A 44% badge is ordinary on fans and air fryers and would be exceptional on a dishwasher, where the median is 18%. Judge the discount against its own aisle, not against the site.

Do not wait for a sale on the premium names. Dyson's purifiers are cut by a rupee, IFB's dishwashers by 2–6%, Philips's purifiers by 10–14%. Where the manufacturer controls the price, the badge has nowhere to go.

On air fryers, compare rupees. Seven of them sit under Rs. 3,100 and the badges on that aisle run to 76% off stated MRPs above Rs. 10,000. The percentage is describing the reference price; the Rs. 2,615 is describing your wallet.

Get installation quoted separately. Chimneys, dishwashers and geysers all carry fitting costs that appear nowhere on this page, and they are the line that most often separates the listing from the bill.
