Tata CLiQ Curtain and Doormat Price September 2026: From Rs. 163

We read Tata CLiQ's own search results for bedsheets, curtains, doormats and cushion covers on 24 September 2026. Seventy-nine listings returned a selling price and a stated MRP. Fifty-four of them publish no rating at all.

The twenty-five that do are thinner than the number suggests. Their counts, in full: twelve listings rated by one person, six by two, three by three, one by four, one by five, one by eight, and one by twelve. Twelve ratings is the largest sample anywhere on this shelf - on a Bianca nylon door mat at Rs. 349, showing 4.3.

And the averages read better than the evidence behind them. Twelve of the 25 rated listings show a perfect 5.0, and eleven of those twelve rest on one, two or three ratings. Two HOSTA HOMES mats at Rs. 551 show 1.0 - also from one rating each. On a search page a 5.0 and a 1.0 built on single ratings look like verdicts. They are one person's opinion, displayed as a score.

Because there are only twenty-five of them, we can print the whole set rather than a selection. This is the complete published feedback on Tata CLiQ's home textile shelf as we read it - twenty-five listings and sixty-two ratings between them.

Read down the right-hand column before the left. The two listings with the largest samples, twelve and eight ratings, are also the two with the smallest MRP multiples on the shelf - 1.14x and 1.05x, badges of 13 and five per cent. Every listing here carrying a 2.5x or larger declared MRP has three ratings or fewer.

That is not a rule about retail; it is what this particular set of 79 listings looks like. But it does mean the two numbers a shopper has - the badge and the stars - point in opposite directions on this shelf, and only one of them is attached to more than a handful of people.

Curtains on this shelf are mostly sold two to a pack, and a few doormat and table mat listings come in threes and fours. Sixteen of the 79 listings state a set of two or more, which means the price you see is not the price of a curtain.

Divided out, the cheapest curtain in the read is Bianca's faux silk pair at Rs. 326 - Rs. 163 a curtain - and the dearest is GM's eyelet pair at Rs. 2,411, or Rs. 1,205.50 each. That is a spread of 7.4 times per curtain, across a shelf whose ticket prices only span 7.4 times as well, because almost everything here is a pair.

The check matters most in the middle. Ariana's Airforce 7 ft door curtain pair at Rs. 799 is Rs. 399.50 a curtain; SEJ by Nisha Gupta's pair at Rs. 960 is Rs. 480 each. On the search page those look like a Rs. 161 gap. Per curtain it is Rs. 80.50.

The stated MRPs on this shelf repeat to two decimal places, which is what happens when a brand applies one markdown percentage across its whole range rather than pricing each product against a real maximum retail price.

Eight HOSTA HOMES listings declare precisely 2.72 times their selling price - Rs. 478 against a stated Rs. 1,299 and Rs. 551 against a stated Rs. 1,499 - so all eight wear an identical 63 per cent badge. Thirteen listings from DDecor, Ariana and GM declare precisely 1.33x, across prices from Rs. 361 to Rs. 2,411, and all thirteen show 25 per cent.

The largest multiples in the read belong to Romee: Rs. 549 off a stated Rs. 2,199 and Rs. 625 off a stated Rs. 2,499 - 4.01 and 4.00 times, both badged 75 per cent, neither carrying a single rating. Stating a high MRP is legal and ordinary in Indian retail and we allege no wrongdoing by anyone; what it means for a shopper is that the percentage is a property of the brand's pricing policy, not of the product.

Nothing here was hung, unrolled, washed, measured or handled. Every per-piece figure is our own arithmetic - the listing's price divided by the piece count the listing itself states - and the piece count is the seller's figure, not ours. We did not open a pack.

Curtains and mats differ in ways price cannot capture and this shelf does not publish: fabric weight, drop and width, whether a curtain is lined, how opaque 'blackout' actually is, and whether an anti-skid backing works on your floor. A Rs. 163 curtain and a Rs. 1,205 curtain are not the same object and this page does not suggest otherwise.
