Twenty-one sweatshirts and hoodies read on 23 September. Most of this shelf has never been rated by anyone, the best-evidenced listing on it scores 2.7, and the discount badges range from two per cent to seventy-eight.
We read Tata CLiQ's sweatshirt, hoodie and light-jacket listings on 23 September 2026, as the season for them starts. The first thing the data says is that almost nobody has rated anything: 53 of the 92 listings carry no rating at all, and among the 39 that do the median count is two. The largest sample in the entire pull is 18 ratings, and it belongs to the worst-scoring listing on the page. The badges are no more use - they run from 2 per cent to 78, computed from MRPs between 1.02 and 4.62 times the price.
Every price below was pulled from Tata CLiQ on September 23, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Tata CLiQ coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

First: read the rating count, never the stars. On this shelf a 5.0 usually means one person and a 4.5 means two; the median count across every rated listing here is two and the maximum is 18. Second: treat the badge as a fact about the MRP field. Three Souled Store hoodies at exactly Rs. 2,599 show 13, 21 and 26 per cent off because they declare three different MRPs. Third: compare like brands. Puma's listings here declare a median 2.94 times their selling price and adidas's 2.50, while Calvin Klein Jeans declares 1.05 and Decathlon 1.32 - so a 70 per cent badge and a 5 per cent badge can sit on garments at similar money. Fourth: if the evidence is what you want, this is not the shelf for it - the same brands' listings on Myntra carry rating counts in the thousands, and we link one such read below.

Every selling price, stated MRP and discount badge here was read on 23 September 2026 from tatacliq.com's own marketplace search responses, logged out, in India, for the queries 'jacket', 'sweatshirt' and 'hoodie'. 92 unique listings returned both a price and a stated MRP; 21 are seated. Nothing was bought.
Tata CLiQ publishes a star average on many listings and a count alongside it. In this read 53 of 92 listings carry no rating at all, the median count among the 39 that do is two, and the largest count anywhere is 18. We print the count on every card and we do not show a rating pill for any listing here, because none of them reaches a sample we would call evidence.
Every listing seated here is a sweatshirt, hoodie or lightweight hooded jacket for adults, and each card says which in the listing's own words. We excluded the kidswear and babywear the same queries return - Bumzee combo sets, MINIKLUB and Pantaloons Baby - because a kids' fleece and a men's hoodie do not belong on one price ladder.
We divide the stated MRP by the selling price and print the result. On this shelf it runs from 1.02 - a Decathlon windbreaker declaring Rs. 949 and charging Rs. 929 - to 4.62 on the cheapest sweatshirt in the read. The median is 1.82. A high stated MRP is legal and commonplace across Indian retail; we report it and allege no wrongdoing by Tata CLiQ or by any seller or brand named.
Where we say a brand's MRP policy differs from another's, the figure is the median multiple across every listing that brand has in our 92-row pull: Puma 2.94 on five listings, adidas 2.50 on seven, Levi's 2.00 on five, Decathlon 1.32 on seven, Calvin Klein Jeans 1.05 on two. Small samples, stated as such.
'Fleece', 'Cotton', 'Oversized', 'Regular Fit', 'Relaxed Fit' and every other specification here is the listing's own text, reproduced as printed and not verified. Nothing on this page was worn, washed, measured or fitted, and we make no claim about warmth, fit, shrinkage, pilling or durability.
In our 23 September 2026 read the cheapest adult listing is the Club York green fleece sweatshirt at Rs. 649, which declares an MRP of Rs. 2,999 - 4.62 times its selling price, the largest multiple in the read - and publishes no rating. The cheapest listing from a brand you will recognise is a Puma Essentials logo sweatshirt at Rs. 825, rated 3.0 by three people. Kids' hoodies from HELLCAT and Bolly Lounge sell for Rs. 499 but are not adult sizes.
We can only report what the pages show. Of the 92 sweatshirt and hoodie listings in our read, 53 publish no rating or rating count at all, and among the 39 that do the median count is two - the largest anywhere in the pull is 18. That is a structural difference from Myntra or Flipkart, where the same categories routinely carry counts in the hundreds or thousands. It means a five-star average here is usually one shopper's opinion, so we print the count on every card and show no rating pills on this page.
No. The badge is arithmetic over the MRP the seller states, and on this shelf those MRPs run from 1.02 to 4.62 times the selling price. A Thomas Scott sweatshirt declaring Rs. 5,499 sells at Rs. 1,229 and shows 78 per cent off; a Tommy Hilfiger declaring Rs. 5,699 sells at Rs. 5,243 and shows 8 per cent. Near-identical declared values, Rs. 4,014 apart at checkout. Three Souled Store hoodies at one price of Rs. 2,599 show three different badges.
Measured as the median MRP multiple across every listing a brand has in our pull: Puma declares 2.94 times its selling price across five listings and adidas 2.50 across seven, which produces the biggest badges among well-known names - up to 71 per cent on an adidas quarter-zip hoodie at Rs. 1,914. At the other end, Calvin Klein Jeans declares 1.05 and Decathlon 1.32, so their listings show single-digit or low-double-digit badges. These are small samples and we state them as such.
We cannot tell you, and neither can the listing - nothing on this page was worn, washed or fitted, and the Rs. 649 Club York publishes no rating. What we can say is what the numbers are: it is 12.3 times cheaper than the dearest listing in the read, a Guess hooded sweatshirt at Rs. 8,000 that is also unrated, and its stated Rs. 2,999 MRP is the boldest claim on the shelf. If you want feedback before you spend, the Decathlon windbreaker at Rs. 929 (4.8 from six) and the Skechers hoodie at Rs. 2,799 (4.0 from eight) are as evidenced as this shelf gets.
