Tata CLiQ Steel Water Bottle Prices September 2026: Rs. 320 a Litre Up

Every steel bottle listing on Tata CLiQ prints its capacity in the title, which makes this one of the few shelves where a like-for-like rate is available without guessing. We read eight queries on 26 September 2026 — 137 bottles, flasks, sippers and tumblers, 121 of them stating a capacity.

The median works out at Rs. 1,395 a litre. The cheapest rate is Rs. 320 — a Prestige single-walled one-litre bottle at Rs. 320, with 11 ratings. The dearest is Rs. 3,580, a 200 ml Chumbak steel tumbler at Rs. 716. That is 11 times the rate, and a single-walled bottle and a vacuum-insulated tumbler are genuinely different products — which is exactly what the rate exposes: insulation, not steel, is what you pay for here.

Thirteen of the 121 listings come in under Rs. 500 a litre and all of them are single-walled or plastic-lidded sippers. Twenty sit above Rs. 2,000 a litre and all of those are either small vacuum flasks, tumblers or fashion-label bottles. Nestasia's 2.4-litre motivational-marker sipper at Rs. 799 is the only large-capacity listing in the cheap band, at Rs. 333 a litre.

Read down this table and the shelf sorts itself into three groups. Under Rs. 500 a litre: big single-walled bottles and sippers from Prestige, Bergner, Milton, ALLO and Nestasia, Rs. 320 to Rs. 799 in cash.

Between Rs. 1,200 and Rs. 1,500 a litre: the double-walled vacuum bottles, mostly Borosil, at Rs. 965 to Rs. 1,453 in cash for 750 ml to 1 litre. This is the bulk of the shelf and where the median sits.

Above Rs. 2,500 a litre: small flasks, tumblers and fashion labels. A 500 ml Borosil Hydra Carry Mate at Rs. 1,263 is Rs. 2,526 a litre; a 500 ml Nautica at Rs. 1,499 is Rs. 2,998; a 200 ml Chumbak tumbler at Rs. 716 is Rs. 3,580. None of which is an argument against a small flask if a small flask is what you want — it is an argument for knowing the rate before you compare two listings by price alone.

The badge ladder here runs the opposite way from a marketplace. Borosil has 32 of the 137 listings — nearly a quarter of the shelf — at a median 4% off, with four listings at literally 0%. Cello sits at 4%, Chumbak and SCL Steelo at 10%, Milton at 14%.

The brands running big badges are the ones with the least feedback. Nautica's ten listings average a 40% badge and two of the ten publish a rating; Nestasia's eleven run at 37% with five rated; Wonderchef's five at 41% with one. Borosil, at 4%, has ratings on 16 of its 32 listings — the best coverage of any brand on the shelf.

Thirty-one of the 137 listings are at 9% off or less, and the biggest badge anywhere is 58%, on a Goodhomes glass sipper. Compare that with the 93% and 14.27x figures we found on Flipkart's wall shelf aisle the same morning: a curated retailer's shelf and a marketplace shelf are not playing the same game with reference prices. A stated MRP is what the seller declares either way.

This is the number that should temper everything above. Only 53 of the 137 listings publish any rating at all, and the largest rating count on the entire shelf is 16 — on a Prestige single-walled bottle at Rs. 345 that averages 2.7 stars from those 16 people.

After it: a Milton Thermosteel flask at Rs. 1,869 with 13 ratings, the other Prestige single-waller at Rs. 320 with 11, and a Borosil Hydra Carry Mate at Rs. 1,263 with 8. Everything else on this shelf has six ratings or fewer. Several of the five-star averages quoted in our tables rest on one or two people.

That is a structural feature of Tata CLiQ rather than a fact about these products — the same brands carry thousands of ratings on the big marketplaces. It means a star average here is close to noise, and the useful signals are the capacity rate, whether the bottle is double-walled, and the brand's own reputation.

One last piece of arithmetic, because multipacks usually reward bulk and this one barely does. Borosil's 750 ml copper sipper comes as a pack of two at Rs. 2,773, a pack of three at Rs. 4,089 and a pack of four at Rs. 5,406.

Per bottle that is Rs. 1,386.50, Rs. 1,363.00 and Rs. 1,351.50. Doubling the order from two bottles to four cuts the unit price by Rs. 35, or 2.5%. The badges move by about the same trivial amount — 23%, 24%, 25% — because the stated MRPs scale almost exactly with the pack.

By contrast the genuinely cheap multipack on this shelf is ALLO's, at Rs. 799 for two 950 ml bottles, or Rs. 421 a litre, badged 56% against a stated Rs. 1,800 and with no rating published. Different product, different construction, and no rating to check it against — which is the trade this shelf keeps offering.

A rate per litre is a way of reading a search page, not a measure of value. A single-walled one-litre bottle at Rs. 320 a litre and a vacuum-insulated 500 ml flask at Rs. 2,526 a litre do different jobs, and wall construction, steel grade, lid design, weight, warranty and how long anything actually stays hot are not in the arithmetic.
