Prices & codes last verified September 17, 2026

We read Tata CLiQ's running and sports shoe listings on 17 September 2026 and seated 22 of the 38 that returned a price. The prices are competitive; the evidence is not there. Sixteen listings publish no rating at all, the median count among the rest is eleven, and the largest sample on the whole shelf is 186. That changes how you shop it: read the count before the average, and treat a 5.0 from five people as the decoration it is.

Every price below was pulled from Tata CLiQ on September 17, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Tata CLiQ coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

“A 5.0 from five ratings, a 4.7 from three, a 3.0 from two. All three render as a star rating, and none of them is a verdict on anything.” Zoutons Editorial Team

Four rules for buying shoes on Tata CLiQ

First: read the count, then the average. On this shelf a four-star rating can rest on two people. Of 38 listings, eight carry more than twenty ratings and one carries more than a hundred - so treat any two-figure count as strong here, and any single-figure count as no information at all. Second: check whether the same shoe is listed more than once. Colourways are separate listings on this platform and each has its own empty rating field, so the Asian Wonder 23 appears three times and the Asics GEL-ZARACA twice. Third: prefer brands whose shops you can reach. Decathlon, Mochi, Skechers and Nike all have their own stores in India, which means you can verify fit in person and check the stated MRP against a real price tag - two things this shelf's data cannot do for you. Fourth: be most sceptical where the money is largest. The three most expensive listings in our pull publish, between them, no ratings at all, and the dearest does not even name the model in its title.

What we skipped — and why

What we skipped, and why: our two searches returned 38 listings with a price and an MRP, and the exclusions were mostly duplicates of a pattern already on the page. We left out a third Asics listing, a Rs. 3,749 GEL-VENTURE 11 that also publishes nothing, and two further adidas listings - a Rs. 3,599 football boot and a Rs. 7,799 basketball shoe - which are neither running nor walking shoes. Two Nike listings were dropped: a Rs. 5,347 Air Winflo with three ratings and a Rs. 7,315 Tiempo football boot, again not a running shoe. A Rs. 4,500 Adidas Originals SL 72 with seven ratings, two more Lotto listings with five and thirteen, a Sparx at Rs. 1,401 with none and two further Campus listings were left out for space rather than for any defect. Every listing whose photograph duplicated one already used was dropped. Nothing was excluded for an inflated MRP.

What we look for

We read the rating count before the rating

Sixteen of the 38 listings in our pull publish no rating at all, and among the 22 that do, the median count is eleven and ten carry fewer than ten ratings. That produces averages that look authoritative and mean nothing: a 5.0 from five ratings on a Campus walking shoe, a 4.7 from three on an Atom, a 3.0 from two on a Campus FYBER. The largest sample anywhere on the shelf is 186. Every card here states the count in full, next to the average, so the two are never read apart.

We print a rating pill only above twenty ratings

Eight of the 38 listings clear that line - the Puma Galaxis Pro at 186, the Softride Frequence at 95, the Skechers GO WALK at 67, the Asian beige at 43, the Lotto Energex at 38, the Campus white at 34, the Nike Quest 5 at 30 and the Decathlon Kiprun at 22. Everything else has its average quoted in the card text instead, with the count immediately beside it, because a star pill on a five-rating sample tells a scrolling reader the opposite of the truth.

We seat duplicate listings adjacently rather than hiding them

The Asian Wonder 23 appears three times at Rs. 604 in blue, beige and navy, and the Asics GEL-ZARACA 5 twice at Rs. 2,999, and all five listings publish nothing. Folding them into one card would hide the mechanism that keeps this shelf's rating counts at zero: each colourway is its own listing with its own empty rating field, so a shoe that sells well never accumulates a visible sample anywhere. Five cards here exist to make that visible.

We name the MRPs that other listings on the same page contradict

A Duke shoe at Rs. 1,319 claims a stated Rs. 4,395 - more than the Nike Quest 5 on this same page actually sells for. An unnamed adidas at Rs. 7,200 claims Rs. 17,999. Against those, Decathlon's Rs. 3,249 and Nike's Rs. 6,295 are prices you can verify in a shop or on the brand's own site, and their badges are correspondingly 20 and 23 per cent. Where a crossed-out figure is checkable we say so; where the rest of the shelf contradicts it we say that too.

We do not repeat performance claims we cannot check

Nothing here was worn, run in, flexed or weighed. Cushioning systems, gel units, grip claims, slip resistance, machine washability and 'superior' anything are the sellers' own listing text and are identified as such. Fit is the most consequential unknown in this category and no listing in our pull publishes a fit note, a width or a weight, so none is claimed on this page - which is itself an argument for trying on the brands whose shops you can reach.

FAQs

Why do Tata CLiQ shoes have so few ratings?

Because the platform is smaller than the marketplaces most shoppers compare it to, and because each colourway is a separate listing with its own rating field. In our 17 September 2026 read of 38 running and walking shoe listings, 16 published no rating at all, the median count among the rest was eleven, and the largest sample anywhere was 186. The same shoe split across three colour listings - as the Asian Wonder 23 is - divides whatever feedback exists three ways, so none of the three ever accumulates a usable count.

Which shoe is the best buy on Tata CLiQ right now?

On the evidence, the Puma Galaxis Pro at Rs. 3,500, which carries 4.3 from 186 ratings - the largest sample on the shelf by a factor of two. Under Rs. 2,000, the Campus white running shoe at Rs. 1,099 has the best numbers, 4.6 from 34 ratings, and under Rs. 1,000 the Asian beige at Rs. 749 is the only listing with a sample worth quoting at 4.1 from 43. If you actually intend to run, the Decathlon Kiprun Jogflow at Rs. 2,599 is the only shoe here built for it and carries the mildest discount claim on the page.

Are the 60 and 70 per cent discounts on Tata CLiQ real?

Judge them against the listings whose MRPs can be checked. Decathlon's stated Rs. 3,249 and Nike's Rs. 6,295 are the prices those brands charge in their own stores, and their badges are 20 and 23 per cent. Against that, a Duke shoe at Rs. 1,319 claims 70 per cent off Rs. 4,395 - more than the Nike actually sells for - and an unnamed adidas at Rs. 7,200 claims 60 per cent off Rs. 17,999. The selling price is the number to judge; the badge is a claim the seller chose.

Is a 5.0 rating on Tata CLiQ a good sign?

Not on this shelf. The only 5.0 in our read is a Campus Flynn walking shoe with exactly five ratings, and a second listing shows 5.0 from five as well. Five people rating a shoe positively is not a verdict, it is a coincidence - and it displays identically to a 4.3 built from 186 ratings. We print a star pill only where a listing carries at least twenty ratings, which on this shelf is eight listings out of 38; everything else has its average quoted in the text with the count next to it.

Are these running shoes actually for running?

Mostly not, and that is fine as long as you know. Most of the shelf is running-styled casual footwear: mesh uppers, moulded soles, designed for wearing rather than training. The exceptions in this read are the Decathlon Kiprun Jogflow at Rs. 2,599, which is Decathlon's actual running line, the two Asics GEL-ZARACA 5 listings at Rs. 2,999, which are an entry-level daily trainer from a running specialist, and the Nike Quest 5 at Rs. 4,816. No listing in our pull publishes a weight, a drop or a width, so none is stated here.

More Tata CLiQ coverage on Zoutons

How Zoutons picks deals Zoutons may earn a commission when you buy through links on this page. Every selling price, MRP, discount badge, rating average and rating count here was read on 17 September 2026 from tatacliq.com's own search data, logged out, in India, across two searches for men's sports and running shoes. Thirty-eight listings returned a price and an MRP and 22 are seated, chosen for price, brand and evidence spread after removing every listing whose product photograph duplicated one already used. Rating averages are rounded to one decimal place from the figures Tata CLiQ publishes, and a star pill is printed only where a listing carries at least twenty ratings; where it carries fewer, the average and the count appear together in the card text instead. Sixteen of the 38 listings publish no rating at all and every seated card in that position says so. Counting the ratings on a platform is not an audit of them: we report only what the listings displayed on the day we read them, we have not assessed how Tata CLiQ collects or moderates feedback, and a low count is a limit on what a shopper can learn rather than evidence of anything improper by the platform or any seller. An MRP is the figure the listing displays and we have not verified that any shoe sold at it, so every percentage here is arithmetic over two numbers the seller chose. Cushioning, grip, slip resistance, washability and every material claim are the sellers' listing text and were not verified - nothing here was worn, run in, flexed or weighed, and no listing publishes a weight, width or drop. Prices and stock change without notice and can differ at checkout after coupons or bank offers; re-check before paying.
