Casio, Titan and Fossil sit at a median of 0% off. Nasher Miles and French Connection sit at 81%. The percentage is telling you the label, not the deal.
We read 274 unique Tata CLiQ accessory and watch listings across eight category searches on July 27 — watches, bags, sunglasses, wallets, belts, backpacks and luggage — and the moment we grouped them by brand rather than by product, almost everything on the page explained itself. Taking every brand with at least four listings in the pull, the median discounts form a near-perfect ladder: 0% for Fossil, Titan, Hidesign, Calvin Klein and Casio; 10% for Ray-Ban; 25% for Guess; 30% for Fastrack; 40% for Tommy Hilfiger; 52% for Puma; 63% for Skybags; 68% for Aristocrat; and 81% for both Nasher Miles and French Connection. A brand's discount barely moves from listing to listing, which means the percentage you are reading is telling you which label you are looking at rather than whether today is a good day to buy it. A 40% Tommy Hilfiger is not a sale — it is Tuesday. The customer evidence follows the same ladder, and it follows it downwards. The best-rated products in our pull sit at the top and carry no discount at all: a Casio with 157 ratings, the largest sample in the article, sells at exactly its MRP. Meanwhile the eight rated products discounted above 72% average 3.82, the lowest of any band on this page, a group that includes the only sub-3.0 rating in the entire sample — and the two deepest badges of all, at 79% and 85%, have no ratings whatsoever. One important distinction we have kept throughout: an inflated MRP and genuinely stranded stock look identical on a listing and are not the same thing, so a 2021 Samsung flagship at 70% off gets treated differently here from a fashion smartwatch at 85%. Our Tata CLiQ bank offers page covers the reductions that apply on top of all of this.
Every price below was pulled from Tata CLiQ on July 27, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Tata CLiQ coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.
Five picks at 0% and 10% off, carrying between 32 and 157 ratings each. Casio, Fossil, Titan, Hidesign and Calvin Klein all returned a median discount of exactly zero in our pull — an enforced price cannot produce a badge.

Why it earned its spot Twenty-eight ratings producing a 4.7, the strongest score in this chapter.

Why it earned its spot Eighty-eight ratings at 4.3 is the biggest bag sample in the article, at Rs. 1,050.
Rs. 999 at 70% off for 40 litres — Rs. 25 a litre, with 57 ratings at 4.3.

Rs. 499 at 73% off, rated 3.2 by 31 people — the deepest bag cut and the weakest bag rating.
Why it earned its spot Thirty-one ratings averaging 3.2, which is the lowest bag score in the article.

Rs. 1,649 at 79% off — a cabin trolley at the price of a mid-band belt, with no ratings.
Why it earned its spot Seventy-nine percent, from a brand whose median across seven listings was 68%.
Since the listing percentage is mostly a brand policy, the reductions that actually vary are the ones applied at checkout. First, bank offers: Tata CLiQ runs instant-discount tie-ups calculated on the selling price, which means they work identically on a 0% Casio and an 81% French Connection — and on the never-discounted brands they are the only reduction available at all, which makes them disproportionately valuable there. Our bank offers page, HDFC list and ICICI list track what is live. Second, first-purchase and app concessions, which stack on top — see our first-purchase coupon page and app offers. Third, NeuCoins, the Tata group loyalty currency, which accrue on the amount paid and are worth counting into the real price on anything above Rs. 5,000.

It turned out to be the axis that explains almost everything. Taking every brand with at least four listings in our pull, the median discounts run from 0% for Fossil, Titan, Hidesign, Calvin Klein and Casio, through 10% for Ray-Ban, 40% for Tommy Hilfiger and 52% for Puma, up to 81% for Nasher Miles and French Connection. The badge on a Tata CLiQ listing is telling you which brand you are looking at, not whether today is a good day to buy it.
Modestly, yes. The eight rated products in our sample discounted above 72% average 3.82, against 4.32 for the 50-72% band, 4.18 for the 0-25% band and 4.08 for 25-50%. Eight products is a small basis and we would not build a law on it — but it includes the only sub-3.0 rating in the entire pull, and the two deepest badges of all carry no ratings at all, which is its own kind of answer.
They look identical on a listing page and they are not the same thing. A Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 at 70% off is a 2021 flagship whose Rs. 42,999 MRP was genuinely its launch price, and Rs. 12,999 is a real reduction on real hardware. A fashion-brand smartwatch at 85% off against a Rs. 12,995 MRP, priced within Rs. 50 of that Samsung, is a different proposition — and we have said which is which rather than printing both percentages.
Vegan leather is polyurethane on fabric and delaminates at a belt's flex point. Bonded leather cracks along the fold within a year. Cabin trolleys fail at the wheels and the telescopic handle, neither visible in a photograph. Fashion backpacks pad the laptop sleeve but not the base. Twenty-five litres stays on your back in a crowded metro; forty does not. Prices and ratings read from tatacliq.com on July 27, 2026.
Because they enforce their own price, so there is no gap between the MRP and the selling price for a badge to express. In our July 27 pull, Fossil, Titan, Hidesign, Calvin Klein and Casio all returned a median discount of exactly 0%, and Ray-Ban 10%. That is not the marketplace declining to compete — it is a brand policy, and it means waiting for a sale on those labels is futile. On those brands the only reduction available is a bank offer at checkout, which makes card offers disproportionately valuable there.
Usually it just tells you which brand you are looking at. The medians in our pull ran from 0% for Casio to 81% for Nasher Miles and French Connection, and individual listings rarely stray far from their brand's median — so a 40% Tommy Hilfiger is the ordinary price for that label rather than an event. The evidence also runs the other way: the eight rated products discounted above 72% averaged 3.82, the lowest of any band, and the two deepest badges in the pull had no ratings at all.
The Skybags Nexus 25-litre laptop backpack at Rs. 1,050, which has 88 ratings at 4.3 — the largest sample of any bag in our pull — and is the right size to keep on your back in a crowded metro. For sunglasses, the Vincent Chase polarized pair at Rs. 999 carries 113 ratings at 4.2, the second-largest sample in the article, and polarisation genuinely helps with glare off wet roads. And the Casio A158 at Rs. 1,895 has 157 ratings behind a 4.3 and will never be cheaper.
Yes, and it is worth distinguishing from the other deep cuts on this page. The Watch 4 Classic launched in 2021 at Rs. 42,999, so the MRP is genuine and Rs. 12,999 is a real reduction on real flagship hardware with 83 ratings at 4.4 behind it. That is stranded stock rather than an inflated MRP. The caveat is software support — a 2021 smartwatch will stop receiving updates well before the hardware fails — and the LTE variant needs a carrier plan most buyers never activate.
At the price, sometimes; not on the strength of the badge. The Scharf reversible belt at 77% off carries a 2.7 from 19 people, the lowest rating in our entire pull, and vegan leather delaminates at a belt's flex point. The Aristocrat backpack at 73% off has a 3.2 from 31 people. Both are genuinely cheap in absolute terms, so buying one as a spare is defensible — but read the rupee figure and the rating, and treat the percentage as information about the brand rather than the bargain.
