Two hundred and one of 223 discounted prices here are the MRP minus a flat brand rate, to the rupee. The rate belongs to the label, not to the garment.
We read Nykaa Fashion's own category API on July 29, 2026 across the womenswear and menswear trees and collected 223 in-stock listings carrying a discount. What stands out in that sample is not the depth of the discounts, which is unremarkable for July, but the way they are built. Two hundred and one of the 223 prices are exactly the stated MRP minus the stated percentage, calculated to the rupee — and only 38 of the 223 land on a round hundred. Indian retail almost universally ends a price in 99 because a price is a decision made by a person; on this shelf you are asked for Rs. 1,377, Rs. 1,056, Rs. 1,206 and Rs. 828, which are numbers only a spreadsheet produces. The price is an output. The input is a percentage, and that percentage belongs to a brand rather than to a garment. All eight of The Indian Garage Co's listings in our pull sit at exactly 65% off, across shirts and jeans with MRPs from Rs. 1,749 to Rs. 2,699. All six BROADSTAR trousers sit at exactly 60% off an identical Rs. 2,999, which makes all six exactly Rs. 1,200. Eight Jack & Jones apparel listings sit at exactly 60% while the same brand's two pool sliders sit at 25% and 35% — a rate per category rather than per product. Seven of Outzidr's nine listings sit at exactly 5%, which is a brand appearing in a sale without really joining it. And Nykaa Fashion's own Twenty Dresses label runs between 29% and 35% across eleven listings and never leaves that band, while the outside brands beside it range from 5% to 80%. There is one genuine exception, Cider, whose nineteen listings carry fifteen different rates — a brand actually pricing item by item. Everywhere else, the percentage on a tile tells you which promotion a garment is in, and the only number that compares two things is the price. Our one-brand-many-badges piece looked at the same shelf from the other direction, and our price bands piece maps where the money actually sits.
Every price below was pulled from Nykaa Fashion on July 29, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Nykaa Fashion coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

Rs. 1,020 at 15% off — the same brand as the 5% dresses, three times the rate.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,020, from the brand that runs two rates and nothing in between.
Four picks from Rs. 570 to Rs. 2,625 — the one label here whose nineteen listings carry fifteen different rates, and a global sportswear brand discounting by season rather than by contract.
Rs. 2,625 at 57% off a stated Rs. 6,099 — the highest price and the highest reference price here.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 2,625 for a floral mini dress, at the top of the price range.
Rs. 2,114 at 25% off — the shallowest of nineteen Cider listings whose rates span 25% to 57%.

Rs. 850 at 15% off — from the brand that is at 50% two picks up.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 850, closing the page on the same brand at a third of the rate.
Four rules follow from a shelf where the rate is set per brand and the price is arithmetic. First: never compare two items from the same label by percentage, because on this site they will very often carry the identical rate — eight garments at exactly 65%, six trousers at exactly 60% and an identical Rs. 1,200. The rate cannot distinguish them because it was never applied to them individually. Second: when you are comparing across labels, compare rupees. A 65% badge on a Rs. 2,149 shirt and a 33% badge on a Rs. 1,799 polo end up Rs. 753 and Rs. 1,206, and the badges rank them in an order the prices do not. Third: treat a 5% listing as what it is — seventy-odd rupees, not a sale. Seven of one brand's nine listings here are at exactly that rate. Fourth: watch the house label separately. Twenty Dresses stays between 29% and 35%, so waiting for a deeper cut on it is waiting for something that does not appear to happen, while an outside brand at 5% today may well be at 50% in the next promotion. Our Nykaa Fashion coupon page tracks the site-wide codes and bank offers that move the final number, and our app offer guide and discount depth piece cover the two things that actually change what you pay.

Every price and MRP on this page comes from nykaafashion.com's own category response on July 29, 2026 — 223 in-stock listings carrying a discount, pulled across the womenswear and menswear category trees. Nothing is taken from a marketplace and nothing is computed from a badge alone.
It is the percentage. Of the 223 discounted listings, 201 are exactly their stated MRP minus the stated percentage, to the rupee — which is why the shelf is full of prices like Rs. 1,377, Rs. 1,056, Rs. 1,206 and Rs. 828. Only 38 of the 223 land on a round hundred, against an Indian retail norm where almost everything ends in 99. The price here is an output, not a decision.
All eight of The Indian Garage Co's listings sit at exactly 65%. All six BROADSTAR trousers sit at exactly 60% with an identical Rs. 2,999 MRP and an identical Rs. 1,200 price. Eight Jack & Jones apparel listings sit at exactly 60% while its two footwear listings sit at 25% and 35%. Seven of nine Outzidr listings sit at exactly 5%. The rate belongs to the label — and sometimes to a category within the label — rather than to the garment.
Nykaa Fashion's own Twenty Dresses label runs between 29% and 35% across eleven listings and never leaves that band, while outside brands on the same shelf run from 5% to 80%. Two cotton t-shirts from one brand appear at 45% and 8%. One brand, Cider, genuinely prices item by item — nineteen listings, fifteen different rates. Everywhere else the percentage tells you which promotion a garment is in, not what it is worth. Nykaa Fashion's category response carries no customer rating or review count, so this page has no rating pills. Prices read July 29, 2026.
Because they are calculated rather than chosen. In our July 29, 2026 read, 201 of 223 discounted prices were exactly the stated MRP minus the stated percentage, to the rupee, and only 38 landed on a round hundred. A Rs. 1,449 dress at 5% off becomes Rs. 1,377; a Rs. 1,599 dress at 34% becomes Rs. 1,056; a Rs. 899 t-shirt at 8% becomes Rs. 828. Most Indian retailers set a price ending in 99 and work backwards to a percentage. This shelf does the reverse.
Very often, yes. All eight of The Indian Garage Co's listings in our pull carried exactly 65%. All six BROADSTAR trousers carried exactly 60% off an identical Rs. 2,999 MRP, making all six exactly Rs. 1,200. Eight Jack & Jones apparel listings sat at exactly 60% while the brand's two pool sliders sat at 25% and 35%, so the rate can be per category within a label. The main exception we found was Cider, whose nineteen listings carried fifteen different rates.
Yes — Twenty Dresses by Nykaa Fashion is the marketplace's own label, and it behaves differently from the outside brands beside it. Its eleven listings in our read ran between 29% and 35% and never left that band, while third-party labels on the same shelf ranged from 5% to 80%. Our reading is that a house label's discount is a margin decision made once, where an outside brand's rate is whatever that brand agrees to fund in a given promotion. Waiting for a very deep cut on the house label may be waiting for something that does not come.
In rupees, barely. Seven of Outzidr's nine listings in our pull sat at exactly 5%, which on a Rs. 1,599 dress is seventy-nine rupees. The tile still says 'off' and the price still looks discounted. Read the rupee gap rather than the percentage: the same brand's other two listings were at 15%, which on a Rs. 1,199 maxi is Rs. 179 — more than twice as much money, on a cheaper garment.
On price, and on the specification line. Because the rate is set per brand, a 65% badge and a 33% badge can produce Rs. 753 and Rs. 1,206 on comparable garments, and the badges rank them in an order the prices do not. Read the fabric — several listings here state pure cotton or a linen blend where near-identical neighbours at similar prices are synthetics — and read the fit, since 'oversized', 'barrel' and 'Korean' are cuts rather than sizes.
