Sort a marketplace by discount depth and both ends are informative. The deep cuts sit on labels nobody knows; H&M had 44 products at zero off. One of them costs the same as a 67%-off shirt.
We read 293 Nykaa Fashion listings across the women's and men's categories on July 27, and the useful finding was not which product had the biggest discount. It was the shape of the curve. Cuts of 65% to 89% cluster almost entirely on labels most shoppers have never heard of — Twenty Dresses, NOBARR, PIMU, KOTTY, PURVAJA — while at the other end H&M carried forty-four products at zero discount, The Souled Store nine, and Nike four. That is not a coincidence and it is not about quality. On a marketplace, discount depth is mostly a statement about who controls the MRP. A vertically integrated retailer like H&M manufactures and prices its own stock, so there is no inflated list price sitting above the shelf price waiting to be cut. A marketplace label can print whatever MRP it likes and discount from there, and a garment that sells at eleven percent of its stated MRP was clearly never going to sell at that MRP. The single clearest illustration sits on this one page: an oversized crew tee at Rs. 500, badged 67% off Rs. 1,499, and an H&M round-neck tee at Rs. 499 badged nothing off anything. They cost the same money. One got there through discount theatre and one through simply being priced. None of which makes the discounted items bad buys — Rs. 154 for a printed top is genuinely cheap and we would take it — it just means the badge is not the information. So we have written this page from both ends, sorted the garments on fabric rather than percentage because polyester and viscose behave completely differently in an Indian July, and flagged which unfamiliar-label purchases carry the least fit risk. Our wider July sale list covers the platform by category instead.
Every price below was pulled from Nykaa Fashion on July 27, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Nykaa Fashion coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.
Four picks from Rs. 154 — the four largest discounts we found across nearly three hundred listings. Every one is a genuinely low price and every MRP beside it deserves no attention whatsoever.
Rs. 154 for a printed wrap top — 89% off, and the lowest price we found anywhere on the site.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 154 is genuinely cheap for any top, whatever the Rs. 1,395 beside it is supposed to mean.
Rs. 360 for elastic-waist shorts listed at Rs. 2,999 — an 88% cut on a Rs. 3,000 claim.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 360 is a fair price for casual shorts; Rs. 2,999 is not a price anybody paid for them.
Rs. 800 for a belted floral midi dress — the best-looking thing on this page under a thousand rupees.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 800 for a belted midi dress is genuinely good, regardless of the Rs. 3,999 above it.
Rs. 500 for viscose rayon flared trousers — viscose is the fabric worth having in July.
Why it earned its spot Viscose rayon breathes considerably better than the polyester that dominates this price band.
Five picks from Rs. 323, where the deep discounts cluster. We have sorted these on fabric rather than price, because in the last week of July cotton and viscose behave very differently from polyester.
Rs. 323 for a plain black top — the lowest price in this chapter, for the most repeatable garment.
Why it earned its spot A plain black top is the item you will wear most often, and Rs. 323 is close to nothing.
Rs. 560 for high-rise wide-leg trousers in black — office-appropriate at a fifth of office prices.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 560 for black wide-leg trousers is the strongest office-wear value on this page.
Rs. 930 for an embroidered cotton top — actual cotton, which almost nothing here is.
Why it earned its spot Cotton rather than polyester, plus embroidery rather than print, at Rs. 930.
Rs. 957 for a printed navy midi — the safest dress purchase on the page for an unfamiliar label.
Why it earned its spot Navy with a print is the lowest-risk thing to order blind from a brand you do not know.
Rs. 1,949 for a co-ord shirt and pant set — two garments, so about Rs. 975 each.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,949 for two matching pieces works out to Rs. 975 each, which reframes the price entirely.
Five picks from Rs. 500. One label appears in this platform's deep-discount listings more than any other, which says more about how it distributes than about how it is made.
Rs. 500 for an oversized crew tee — the cheapest menswear item on this page.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 500 for an oversized cotton tee is the floor of the menswear chapter and hard to argue with.
Rs. 613 for a striped half-sleeve shirt — from the label that dominates this platform's discount list.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 613 for a half-sleeve casual shirt is the best menswear price-to-formality ratio here.
Rs. 700 for a checkered slim-fit shirt — the same label, Rs. 87 more, and a dressier result.
Why it earned its spot Eighty-seven rupees more than the striped shirt, for a pattern that carries a smart-casual room.
Rs. 1,260 for a melange relaxed-fit shirt — twice the price of the shirts above, and better made.
Why it earned its spot Roughly double the price of the cheaper shirts here, for a noticeably better fabric and finish.
Rs. 1,799 for joggers listed at Rs. 5,199 — the highest menswear price on this page.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,799 is the menswear ceiling here, and joggers are where fabric weight actually matters.
Three picks from Rs. 720. Eyewear and watches carry the most inflated list prices on any marketplace — so we have written about what to actually check instead.
Rs. 720 for round unisex sunglasses — 76% off, and the accessory category is where MRPs get wildest.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 720 is fine for a pair of sunglasses; Rs. 3,000 for these was never a real number.
Rs. 960 for a black wayfarer — the frame shape that suits the widest range of faces.
Why it earned its spot Wayfarers are the most universally wearable frame, which is why the shape has lasted 70 years.
Rs. 3,680 for a quartz analog watch — the top price on this page, at 68% off Rs. 11,500.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 3,680 is the ceiling here, and quartz is the right movement to buy at this price.
Four picks at 0% and 15% off. H&M carried 44 zero-discount products in the listings we read, The Souled Store nine, Nike four — and one of them costs exactly the same as a 67%-off shirt from Chapter Three.
Rs. 499 for a plain white cotton tee — at zero percent off, and it is the same money as the discounted one.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 499 with no discount at all, against Rs. 500 for an 'oversized crew reduced from Rs. 1,499'.
Rs. 3,651 for the Revolution 8 — 15% off, which is what a real discount on a real MRP looks like.
Why it earned its spot Fifteen percent is the smallest cut here, and it is the most credible number on the page.
Rs. 1,499 for a licensed Ben 10 oversized tee — no discount, because licensing costs money.
Why it earned its spot Licensed character apparel does not discount because a royalty is built into every unit.
Rs. 1,999 for wide high-waist jeans at zero discount — the same Rs. 1,999 they were last month.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,999, unchanged and undiscounted, is a price rather than a starting position.
If the badges are unreliable, the levers that still work are worth knowing. First, platform-level codes and app-only concessions apply on top of the listed price and are the same percentage regardless of whose MRP is inflated — our Nykaa Fashion coupons page is re-verified daily, and the app-only extra 10% is the most consistently available of them. Second, on the zero-discount brands, the platform code is the only saving available, which makes it worth considerably more there than on a listing already showing 80% off. Third, cross-shop the fixed-price brands specifically, because H&M and Nike sell the same stock through several channels at genuinely different prices — our July platform list, menswear edit and brand-level sale guide cover where those sit this month.

Most marketplace roundups take the top of the discount sort and stop. We read 293 listings across the women's and men's categories and looked at the bottom as well — where H&M sat on 44 products at zero discount, The Souled Store on nine and Nike on four. The comparison between the two ends is the most useful thing in the data, so the page is built around it rather than around the biggest numbers.
An oversized crew tee at Rs. 500, marked 67% off a Rs. 1,499 MRP, sits on the same site as an H&M round-neck tee at Rs. 499 marked nothing off anything. They cost the same. One arrived there by discount theatre and one by being priced. Once you have seen that pair, the badges elsewhere on the site read differently.
At this end of a marketplace the default is polyester, which traps heat and sweat. Where a pick is viscose rayon or cotton we have said so and explained why it costs more, because in the last week of July that is the difference between a garment that gets worn and one that stays in a cupboard. It is also the specification most listings bury furthest down the page.
Buying from a brand you have never heard of is a gamble on fit and finish, and some of that is avoidable: dark colours hide cheap sheen, prints hide seam puckering, midi lengths and oversized cuts are far less fit-dependent than fitted ones. Where a pick is a lower-risk blind order we have said why. Prices read from Nykaa Fashion's own category listings on July 27, 2026.
The prices are real; the discounts are mostly not. A top selling at Rs. 154 against a stated MRP of Rs. 1,395 is genuinely a Rs. 154 top, and at that price it is a good buy. But a garment that sells at eleven percent of its list price was never realistically going to sell at that list price, so the percentage is not telling you about a saving. Judge these listings on the rupee figure alone, and use the fixed-price brands on the same site as your reference for what things actually cost.
Because it manufactures and prices its own stock, so there is no inflated MRP sitting above the shelf price to cut from. In the 293 listings we read on July 27, H&M appeared 44 times at zero discount — more than any other brand. Vertically integrated retailers set one price and hold it, which is why an H&M tee at Rs. 499 with no discount costs the same as a marketplace tee at Rs. 500 badged 67% off. Predictability is the trade-off you get instead of a badge.
Sort on fabric rather than on discount. In the last week of July, cotton and viscose rayon breathe and move sweat away from skin, while the polyester that dominates this price band traps both. The MYSHKA embroidered cotton top at Rs. 930 and the KOTTY viscose rayon trousers at Rs. 500 are the two picks here where the fabric alone justifies the price. Wide-leg and relaxed cuts also beat slim ones in humidity, because less fabric touches skin.
It is a gamble on fit and finish, but a lot of that risk is avoidable if you choose the right garment. Dark base colours hide the cheap sheen that budget polyester develops under strong light. Prints hide seam puckering that a solid reveals. Midi lengths and oversized cuts are far less fit-dependent than fitted or mini ones — an oversized tee that runs small is just a normal fit, while a slim shirt that runs small is unwearable. Read the measurements on the listing rather than the size letter.
The smallest one on this page. Nike's Revolution 8 at 15% off is the most credible number here, because Nike controls its pricing globally and its MRP corresponds to a price the shoe is genuinely sold at — so Rs. 644 off is a real reduction from a real figure. As a rule of thumb on any marketplace, a modest discount from a brand that sets its own prices is worth more than a spectacular one from a label whose MRP nobody has ever paid.
