We read eighty-three thermal listings on myntra.com on 14 September 2026 and the shelf turned out to be running two pricing systems at once. Fifteen tiles carry no discount whatsoever — the MRP and the price are the same number — and nine of those are Jockey, which is every Jockey listing here. Sixteen others print an MRP three times the price or more, and they are almost all fleece-lined winter leggings. Between the two sits the finding of the read: one Levi's thermal bottom selling at Rs. 588 and at Rs. 949 from a single pool of 4,447 reviews.

First: search the product name, not the shelf. One Levi's thermal bottom in this read sells at Rs. 588 and at Rs. 949 under titles that differ by a bracketed colour, and both carry the same 4,447-rating pool — the cheaper listing is only findable if you look for it. Second: read the badge as a house policy. Jockey shows zero on all nine of its listings, DAMENSCH shows exactly 25 on all four of its, and DUNBERRY LONDON shows 81 to 83 on all five of its. None of those numbers is a reaction to demand. Third: treat a four-figure MRP on a sub-Rs.-600 garment as a list price rather than a saving — sixteen listings here print three times the price or more, and every one of them is a fleece legging. What we look for
We counted the listings with no discount at all
There are fifteen of them in eighty-three, and they are not an accident. Nine are Jockey — which is every Jockey listing in this read, all nine priced at exactly their MRP. The others are Bodycare Insider, Tiny Hands, Dollar Ultra and one Levi's bottom. Against a shelf median badge of 26 percent, a brand that never discounts is telling you something about how it prices, and it means a Jockey garment costs the same here as it does anywhere else Jockey sets the price.
We looked for the same product at two prices
And found it at the head of the shelf. 'Levi's Men's Regular Fit Full Length Thermal Bottom Wear' sells at Rs. 588 with a 38 percent badge on a Rs. 949 MRP. 'Levi's Men's Regular Fit Full Length Thermal Bottom Wear (Black)' sells at Rs. 949 with no badge against the same Rs. 949 MRP. Both display 4.3 stars from exactly 4,447 ratings, so they share one review pool. Rs. 361 — 61 percent — separates two listings whose titles differ by a colour in brackets.
We read the badge by brand house, not by product
Because on this shelf the house decides. Jockey: nine listings, zero percent, every time. Lux runs three sub-brands here — Lux Cozi, Lux Cottswool and Lux Parker — and none of the nine listings between them exceeds a 15 percent badge. Levi's sits at a 39 percent median, Decathlon at 30, DAMENSCH at a flat 25 on all four of its listings. The badge is a policy, applied across a range, not a reaction to what any individual garment is worth.
We separated the deep-badge tiles into their own chapter

The deepest is a Hill Islands legging at Rs. 600 against a Rs. 5,000 MRP, an 8.3x multiple. Seating them together makes the pattern visible: the 80-percent badges on this shelf are a category, not a sale.
We did not test how warm anything is
This page prices listings. It does not measure warmth, fabric weight, insulation, shrinkage or how any of these survive a wash. 'StayWarm', 'multifiber layer', 'moisture managing' and the rest are the brands' own listing claims. Where a listing's stars come from a sample we consider too thin we print the number in words instead of showing a star pill, and where two listings share one review pool we say so on both cards.

Why does Jockey never show a discount on Myntra?
We cannot tell you the reason from a listing page, but we can tell you it is consistent: all nine Jockey thermal listings in this read sell at exactly their MRP, from a Rs. 479 camisole to a Rs. 949 microfiber top. Bodycare Insider, Tiny Hands and Dollar Ultra do the same on this shelf, and one Levi's bottom does too, making fifteen zero-badge listings out of eighty-three. The practical effect is that there is nothing to wait for — the price you see on a Jockey thermal is the price, and four of those nine listings carry four-figure rating samples averaging 4.5 stars.
What should a thermal set cost on Myntra?
Between Rs. 736 and Rs. 1,194 for a matched top-and-bottom set on this read, all three of them from the Lux house — Lux Parker at Rs. 736, Lux Cottswool at Rs. 998 and Lux Cozi at Rs. 1,194. The Cottswool set is the best-evidenced at 4.4 stars from 2,192 ratings. Buying halves separately costs more: the Jockey undershirt and long johns together come to Rs. 1,508, and a Levi's top and bottom to Rs. 1,166. The cheapest per-garment figure on the whole page is a two-pack of sleeveless tops at Rs. 389.50 each.
Why do two Levi's thermal bottoms show the same number of ratings?
Because Myntra is pooling the reviews across listings it treats as related, and neither page says so. In this read 'Levi's Men's Regular Fit Full Length Thermal Bottom Wear' at Rs. 588 and 'Levi's Men's Regular Fit Full Length Thermal Bottom Wear (Black)' at Rs. 949 both displayed 4.3 stars from exactly 4,447 ratings. The cheaper one shows a 38 percent badge on a Rs. 949 MRP; the dearer one shows no badge against the identical Rs. 949. If you find a thermal you like, search its exact product name before buying — the same garment may be listed twice.
Are the 80-percent-off thermals on Myntra a good deal?
They are a different product rather than a better price. Every listing in this read badged 70 percent or more is a fur-fleece-lined winter legging from DUNBERRY LONDON, Hill Islands, Kilvis, Moda Rapido or Eleg & Stilance, selling at Rs. 354 to Rs. 899 against MRPs of Rs. 1,499 to Rs. 5,000. They are also the thinnest-rated tiles on the shelf: the best of them has 471 ratings, several have under 60, and one has none at all. The cotton base layers with four-figure rating samples all sit at 0 to 45 percent badges.
Does Myntra price thermal wear the same as AJIO?
Not on 14 September 2026 it did not. We read both shelves that morning. Myntra's eighty-three thermal listings had a median badge of 26 percent with fifteen at zero; AJIO's eighty-six had a median of 46 percent and none at zero. The clearest case is one brand group: Dollar Ultra sells at 0 percent off on Myntra here, while eleven DOLLAR ULTRA listings on AJIO carried a 52 percent median badge. AJIO also published no star rating on any of its eighty-six listings, where Myntra rated sixty-four of eighty-three.
